This bar in Amsterdam is a whole vibe. Walked in for “one drink” and somehow ended up making friends with the bartender, Drinks? Amazing. Music? Staff? The kind that makes you feel like you’ve been coming here for years. If you’re looking for a place to laugh, and feel like the main character of your own movie this is the spot. 100% would go back.

I went yesterday and Kay and Quin took great care of me. The music was good, but it wasn’t too crowded since it was just a Wednesday. I’ll definitely come back this weekend to enjoy it with my friends.

Workers there are very ignorant and treat customers really bad, they cursed me and many friends that I know for really small things, they feel they are making a favor for you when you order a drink, that's why this place is so empty now, also they should change the pendrive of the music, alwayss the same

Went with my friends & ordered a round of drinks & then went back for a TAP water, he told me only bottled water is served. By regulation if you provide alcohol you must provide tap water. People have water between rounds to help with hangovers, will not be going back & hope they are educated on responsible service of alcohol.

What used to be a great, cozy place for queers has now become an unsafe place. Last weekend, I went there with three sisters. There were so many bored men trying to touch my sisters. The security guards aren't doing enough to ensure safety. It's unfortunately become a problem for many places on Reguliersdwarsstraat. A very strange atmosphere.

The entrance fee during Pride was €20.00. This didn't include a single drink. Even on New Year's Eve, it was better and cheaper. The bar staff also needs to be fully aware of the cost of their drinks. I bought drinks four times, and the prices for the SAME two drinks varied from €16.50 to €11.50, and then the next time, the price went up to €13.50. So, it can be more expensive one time and cheaper the next. Soho's response is inaccurate. If there were already signs that no one saw, it's already strange that the prices keep changing. At the next door, you pay €9.00 for the same drinks as at Soho. There, the prices are posted behind the bar, and nothing changes. We're not going to Soho anymore, but to BLEND! There, you get your money's worth and you don't feel ripped off.

I had a great time here during Pride! It was too crowded on the terrace and in the street outside, but the music was great. The DJ was playing really good music. Everyone was friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The drinks are quite pricey, but that's understandable considering the popular location.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT !!! We enjoyed an evening in this Iconic bar on Amsterdam’s famous street where bars of all kinds exist side by side. Soho serves the LGBTQIA+ community and every colour, creed and gender on the planet!!! Alex and his team bring the party night after night. Great drinks, brilliant atmosphere and the prize for the manager with the most astonishing manicure you’ve ever clapped eyes on. GO HERE x

A pretty terrifying nightclub in Amsterdam although great things happen inside there are really weird people everywhere, the place with the most shady people per square meter As soon as I entered, they tried to steal my bag a sign that we should escape from there single, bad-tempered men who followed us not only with their eyes and a person on a platform touched things they shouldn't have with their foot... short, determined, and uncensored, the scene was bordering on insanity I don't highly recommend this experience unless you like the ultimate insanity

Of course, here's a sharp but still appropriate version of your review for Soho Amsterdam A completely ruined experience thanks to the manager...devastatingly rude, arrogant and completely unworldly. He acts like he is a god in Soho, but lacks any kind of professionalism or hospitality. A place that pretends to have class, but that falls completely short with such an attitude. Avoid if you give yourself any respect.

Terrible experience. I came to Soho with my friend Dino, who was visiting from Bosnia. He started feeling sick, so we went to get our jackets and head home. I had lost my ticket and explained this to a staff member, who called security. The security guy asked for a photo of the jacket, which I showed. Then the manager came — a rude, arrogant man with zero empathy. Even though my friend was clearly unwell and I showed a photo of the exact jacket, he refused to help, laughed at us, and told us to wait until the end of the night or leave. No respect, no professionalism, just pure attitude. We spent a lot of money there and were treated like garbage. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Management seriously needs to rethink who they hire. I will never come back to this place, and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Not a queer bar anymore. Girls get harassdd by straight guys. Straight girls push the usual queer patrona out of the way. It’s basically a straight invasion on the queer street.

Kay was incredibly friendly and made navigating the bar a breeze—it felt like a five-star experience. Dance the night away, but for the best drinks, be sure to ask for Kay!

And more important stayed there for the vibe....all the people working there making it a great fun night for me at least .......I am not even gay (NO DISRESPECT huh) hahaa had a F* great time, thx Brothers & Sisters.....I found my love for Amsterdam back baby.........O and I lost my "normal" glasses I think somewhere, it's OK go with the flow....... What kind of bar charges their customers to go to the bathroom?! Im pretty sure thats illegal. When an establishment offers food and drink, im pretty sure they have to offer a toilet FOR FREE to its customers.

Saturday 28th September, 2024. It was before 3:00am. I went there with my partner for his birthday. One of the bartenders who worked on the 2nd floor (curly hair or something) had a lot of attitude. He had just served two people with a smile but I stood there waiting to order our drinks (patiently waiting till he was finished his duties cleaning glasses) and was told off with the "wait" index finger. Approached me with a b-face, not asking what would you like, and then he added the 10% tip without my permission to pay. Was highly annoyed by this situation since I have had better experiences at SOHO...but this one, didn't expect nor deserve that.

Music was ok. But customers have to pay to go to the toilet… ruins the entire experience

The experience last night was bad: _ Het barpersoneel was simpelweg onvriendelijk en in niks geïnteresseerd (de portier overigens wel). _ Our group of friends made the same round three times (4 x beer + 1 x gin cola), but had to pay a different amount each time. _ €27 for 4 beers and 1 gin cola cannot be justified _ Beer had hardly any carbon dioxide and tasted like cheap catering beer

Staff behind the bar refused to offer me a gin soda. Direct me to the other staff. And asked that other staff to not serve me as well. And the reason for not serving is I said “no,no” when the person behind the bar understand that I only ordered soda, but not gin soda. this is very aggressive with no understanding. Strange staff.

Had a glass of gin and tonic, they made a pretty good drink, a welcome one after a long flight. Didn't stay long enough to witness it, but saw in their socmed that they go pretty wild as it gets late. Would recommend if you're in for a party.

I always come here. The only thing I'm disappointed in. It was with the gay pride this year. I was inside the Soho all the time with friends. And a few people wanted to smoke outside for a bit. But when she wanted to go back in, they had to queue up again Pay 10 euros to get back in. While they were already inside. I just didn't think that was fair. Totally disagreed with that!! In the end we just left Because she didn't want to pay which I can understand. (We were inside all the time) In my opinion... then just give everyone a stamp or card or something that they can still enter. Because not everyone wants to pay 10 euros for entrance, especially for the people who WERE already inside. I know a lot of people feel the same way about this too But someone had to open their mouth about this. because I didn't like this very much. I hope you do this differently next year.

The bartender upstairs (the 45 years old with the crop top) refused to serve us drinks just because he was on bad mood and didn’t like my jacket. That’s simply not acceptable, in a world going towards respect and inclusion. Never again, please take some actions, to the staff manager.

Having just spent a total of EUR 170 in this bar, I go for my first break the seal pee in this horrid venue, only to find out that you also need to pay to pee. Don't get me wrong, the only reason I spent so much money here is that I am an anxious person and I pick places that are quiet and low in clientele. Never did I expect that a place that charges almost EUR 10 per pint of local Heineken would be so money hungry and disgusting. It is a dirty dive, the staff are average in their service and you could do so much better elsewhere. Take it from me, this might be scathing, but it's true.

Actually, everything was fine until the bartender became really rude when I asked him for a tissue. I mean, we had already incurred some expenses and ordered a lot of drinks, but the way the bartender behaved was disgusting when I requested a napkin. When I addressed it to him, he became touchy. If your staff tends to be hands-on with customers, it's quite odd. I suppose the management should focus on training the staff on how to treat customers. It was quite disappointing, even though the manager apologized later; the evening was spoiled in the end.

Racism on a national basis Terrible service

Bartender are super rude/bitter and they overcharged me differently when i didnt notice. I ordered shots in four different occasions (the same one throughout the entire night) and i ended up with 2 different prices. How is that possible. Unprofessional. They remind me of the stereotypical hurtful and mean grindr gays. Get better staff please.

No entry fee, respectful bouncers. Wardrobe is located on the 3rd floor and it's 1,50€. Toilets seem to have a fee too. Quick, friendly and helpful bartenders. Lovely atmosphere, good DJane that evening. Drinks cost a bit but that seems to be standard in Amsterdam.
