Went to attend an ADE 2025 event “Free Love” by women electronic musicians and the security guy was extremely rude and disrespectful. Didn’t let us in for no reason!

OMG, this is such a fun gay bar! I felt completely at home there as a little gay man. The cocktails are super original and really delicious, the decor and atmosphere are so fun and so gay. I had a blast. Oh, and the music is such a vibe! If only clubs played that kind of music.

One of the best queer bars in Amsterdam, the music is great and the terrace is ideal, especially when it's hot. What makes this bar unique is that they have prosecco on tap. The cocktails are very good, but take a long time to prepare. Only order them if you have time to wait.

Simply a fun nightlife venue in the heart of Amsterdam where you can socialize and enjoy a drink with fellow travelers in a relaxed atmosphere.

In town with a few friends from Dallas Texas. We went inside to grab drinks and no one acknowledged or greeted us. We sat for several minutes and was not waited on. However it appeared that some regulars came after we were seated in the received instant service and drinks! I will never come back! Disappointed in the LGBTQ establishment!

Cute bar and the staff were friendly. I chose to visit because of the bars reputation as the best gay bar in Amsterdam and as I had read these reviews on LGBTQI+ sources, I interpreted gay as an umbrella term, but as the only female couple in the venue I felt out of place and as though I was intruding on a space that was exclusively gay men. Im sure as a gay male presenting person, you would enjoy this bar very much and have a lovely time. We had cider but their cocktail list looked fantastic

Cool music and nice guys behind the bar who do their very best to ensure no one goes thirsty. The place is always busy, with a mixed crowd of young and old. It's a very nice place.

Absolutely huge cocktail list of impressively delicious cocktails. Service is outstanding. Their snacks and food are really delicious too. The outside area is fantastic for people watching and chilling.

Fantastic cocktails, taste good and the bartenders are very good in making and serving those. If you want a cocktail, what's not on the menu, they know how to make it. The owners are very nice and decent people. It's a very good place to meet and just relax there. I was never disappointed. I'm maybe 3 time a year there, but when in Amsterdam, I go there for sure.

Amazing night out. Everyone from the staff to the customers were incredible. Went with (some of) our hen party and we literally had the best time! 10/10 would recommend if you're in Amsterdam!

Could not recommend this place enough for visiting members of the LGBT+ community. This was my first queer bar stop on my European vacation with my best friend…and to say we had an amazing time would be an understatement. Petru and Daan…two new additions to my list of favorite people. What a perfect place to start a trip and make some new friends.

Had a very nice theme evening, the afterparty was organized here after the Great Eurovision Song Contest party and it was great with DJ FirstRank. It was very busy and full, but that is part of the sultry atmosphere!

My partner and I both had a great time here. We got a couple tasty drinks and listened to karaoke. The bar tenders were really nice and everyone was having fun. We stopped there before heading to a sex show in the red light district — definitely made us feel more comfortable, as we were a little nervous going to a heteronormative show as a lesbian couple. Highly recommend going before!

Frequent haunt. Very friendly staff and excellent selection of drinks. Always a great time here for Pride parties, drag race watch parties, cutting up with friends for a laugh. Also the vibe is diverse, welcoming and a pleasure to come back to.

The old Prik was much, much better in terms of service and atmosphere. Tonight a strange plus size bartender, who was always on the phone, was a bit upset that he had to serve beer again. There is the first employee, I don’t know his name , but he too agressive towards customers , last year was with me , today is with a friend , I would say the bar should know better who they want to hire …

Unpleasant behavior and poor customer experience with a bartender. When I asked for a shot, he said, “If it’s not on the menu, don’t ask for it,” in a very impolite and dismissive manner. When he later attempted to apologize for his unprofessional behavior, he ended up being rude again towards my friend, who was trying to address what had happened. In conclusion, it’s very disappointing that someone with no sense of customer service is working at a bar. Perhaps they should consider a job that doesn’t involve interacting with people.

I find this place very expensive. I got one cider beer what they did is grabbed a small glass filled it up with ice and pored only 1/3 of the bottle in it. I don't get a lot of value from their drinks. Besides this and it is a general issue with bars is that it is impossible to hear each other inside. What really just not a enjoyable experience

We went with a friend on our last night in Amsterdam. We arrived at 9pm and the tables outside were full, we went inside where the atmosphere was very nice. Good music, good service and very cool people at the bar. We ordered 2 large pints, 3 negronis and a large plate of warm nachos. We spent 60 EUR between us. We danced for a while since there was a DJ playing, from whom we asked for music and she was very kind. I recommend stopping by this bar as your first stop on a night out in the city.

Cute gay bar with tasty cocktails. I visited with my husband after a day of sightseeing. We stopped by around 17:00 and it was busy. The cocktails were good and the service was pretty good given how busy it was. Cute, twinky bartenders.

I went to this bar, I sat there for about 15 minutes, it helped me rest, but no one attended to me, so I left. The decoration and atmosphere nothing special. Note: I think you had to order the drink at the bar😆😆🫣

Never before have I been so humiliated in the Amsterdam catering industry as here. What a terrible place. Tonight we had one drink on the terrace with a friend, because we were in a hurry. So two drinks in total. When paying - for which I had to walk inside, because after waving 4 times the clerk still didn't come - there were suddenly 4 drinks on the bill. Mistake, it could happen, I thought. But the server continued to insist that we had really had four drinks. He started that discussion with me in the middle of the cafe so that everyone could hear. He even went so far as to use camera footage to prove his point, and everyone could see it. The images only showed two glasses, just like I said. He made a mistake, that can happen, but I have never experienced that to humiliate a customer so much, in front of the entire terrace and café. As an Amsterdammer, and especially as an Amsterdammer of color, you are used to something in the city's catering industry. But PRIK should propose a safe space. That's all but I can tell you.

A lot of attitude by the female wait staff. Gay men without a woman guest will not be treated kindly.

Ive been going to Prik for a while now . I’m a fan of there snack chicken fingers . Staff are great always upbeat and generally friendly . They always have music on and support local LGBTQA community events as a LGBTQA community bar. Music ranges from synth pop 80s to R&B staff have their own playlists .
