My first time here, I was a bit nervous, but the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The bartenders are fantastic, and the crowd is incredibly welcoming. It's a great place to meet new people, have a laugh, and enjoy a few drinks without any pressure. The vibe is laid-back and inclusive. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the city!

I’m really disappointed with the service I experienced tonight from one of your barmen. I don’t know his name, but if you check the cameras between 21:40 and 22:00 on 07/09/2025, you’ll see what happened. Honestly, he was the rudest barman I’ve ever come across. Here’s the situation: I had a drink from CuckooNest and walked into Bears Bar without realizing it wasn’t allowed to carry drinks between the two. I placed my drink on the bar, and this barman immediately grabbed it, put it down, and tried to throw it away. When I asked for it back, he flat-out refused and spoke to me in such a rude and dismissive way. Eventually, I insisted and told him I’d just return to CuckooNest with it. I even raised the issue with his colleague, who explained the rule to me (which I now understand). But the real issue is the way this barman treated me — with zero respect, almost like he was looking for conflict. His attitude was disgusting and completely ruined my night. I spoke to him politely at first, but his behavior was unprofessional, arrogant, and honestly unacceptable. I’d really appreciate it if you could connect me with the bar manager. I think this barman needs either proper training on how to treat customers or, at the very least, to be held accountable for how he behaved.

Visited the web this week it was early in the day and very quiet but it’s small bar area and the play rooms are upstairs great dark room glory holes slings and was very clean when I visited

Nice gay bar in the heart of Amsterdam. Nice and friendly owner who is easy to speak to his guests. Enough choice of drinks. A place where everything is allowed and nothing is required. Upstairs part is also nice. Of course you have to love this. Definitely recommended to have a drink here.

I had a great time at The Web. The bartender was very nice. The crowd is a bit older but very friendly. The beer selection was great (both draft and bottle). I will definitely be back the next time that I'm in Amsterdam.

A very nice gay place, not far from Cuckoo's Nest, good welcome, drinks at reasonable prices, cruising area. Attendance depends on theme evenings. The advantage is being able to move from one bar to another depending on the crowd and having fun as you want.

Was here 30 years, has changed a lot. Social media had ruined what is was, if your 50 and over you'll understand my post. Kevin the bartender was great!

Up to date venue. Mixed crowd. I'm so glad that it isn't a cruise bar anymore. Very relaxed and hetero friendly.

Decent place, enjoyed my stay here. Wish the crowd was a bit more diverse though as someone who's in their 20s and female presenting definitely feels a little out of place. Would love to meet more people my age and/or gender! I like that the bar is not too overstimulating though, it's a nice place to just sit with friends or strike up conversation. Maybe if I visit more often, a more diverse crowd will form? Obviously if no one takes the first step to hang around, the middle aged male crowd will persist. I wonder at times if I'm simply not the crowd The Web is there to serve though, if this is the case feel free to let me know and I'll find a new bar :)

Prima plek. Meestal ben ik de enige, maar ik ben hier altijd volledig naakt. Direct na binnenkomst kleed ik me uit. En neem naakt plaats aan de bar. Niemand die me hier op aan kijkt. Thuis ben ik ook altijd naakt dus waarom dan niet in het café? Kleding voelt voor mij niet prettig. Hier mag ik mezelf zijn.

Petit bar gay sympas avec à l’étage un espace de cruising (il y’a des escaliers plutôt raides pour y accéder) le bar est plutôt exiguë donc lors de grosses soirées ont peut y être serré. Les après-midi sont plutôt calme.

Julian and Ted are a hoot and amazing. Ted doesn't work here anymore but was the side kick we all needed. Great music and atmosphere. Variety of customers if all ages and backgrounds.

Petit bar sympas, plutôt petit donc si il y’a beaucoup de monde ça devient vite serré, pour accéder a la zone de cruising en haut, il faut consommer une boisson quelconque. Le serveur qui était là à mon passage était sympas. Le bar était très calme (en même temps la météo aujourd’hui est magnifique plus de 30 degré) les installations en haut sont correcte et propre. Il y’a à disposition des casiers, du gel hydroalcoolique à divers endroits. Il y’a une petite terrasse devant l’entrée. C’est ma deuxièmes visites, il y avais plus de monde mais il faisait plus froid mais c’est toujours sympa de boire un p’tit verre.

Nette bar mit cruising area im Obergeschoss. Oft hier noch bis kurz vor Feierabend was los. Eintritt frei aber etwas zu trinken sollte man sich kaufen.

Afgelopen weekend tussen DD en Church (ca 19:15 - 21:15 )bezocht. Mooie zaak en vriendelijk personeel. Gesprek gehad met stel uit de UK🤗.

I was there in 2002, great bar, great "fun", sexy people. My hostel was right around the corner, made it so convenient, for drinking and other activities. Would go back in a heart beat!❤️❤️❤️

Enjoyed the web, even though it was quiet, (was mainly there early afternoon.) The staff were friendly, the music good. Theres a darkroom too if you enjoy that. Would definitely visit again.

It's just not the friendly place. But very near to Central Station. You can have 1 or 2 beers here. Short staying is perfect.
