The most delicious apple pie ever! 😋 Catching up with my sweet sis. At "koffiebar toch" they have homemade cakes. And you can taste it! The apple pie was amazing! The chai was also very tasty. The lunch menu looked good; I'll definitely come back here for lunch! 🤗

One of the better coffee shops in Breda. The coffee itself is good and the service is of excellent quality. There is a big table in the centre of the room for large groups which is great, not so great if you are looking for a calmer vibe (nothing negative but just keep that in mind).

A gem in Breda that we stumbled upon by chance and won't miss when we're in Breda. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and fresh food made on-site (including the cakes).

Used to be my favorite place to grab a bite and came here quite often. But the last 1,5 years the service became quite bad, waiting time for food is around 70 min and drinks 30 min, even though there are less then 20 people inside. Besides that are dishes for the same table delivered at different times with sometimes more than 30 min difference. The food quality also is less than it used to be.

Lovely cafe in the heart of Breda. They have a nice and tiny backside terrace, and the inside space is also very cool and cozy, perfect for studying or working on your laptop. I loved the face that all cakes and tarts are vegan and delicious.

Our favorite coffee shop was packed, so we ended up here for a cappuccino and latte macchiato thanks to the good reviews. Unfortunately, neither of us really liked it! I didn't even taste any coffee; it was more like a large glass of warm milk... definitely not again for us. We'll wait until there's a seat at that other coffee shop! Oh yeah, we also had to wait about ten minutes for someone to come to us (and it wasn't busy). And I read that they always asked if everything was to our liking; we weren't asked a thing.

It was a nice short stay. The service was super friendly and the food was good. I really liked the café’s vibe, it was super cozy and the music good.

A while back, I went here with a friend, drawn by all the positive reviews. The location is great, nice and cozy in the city center. It wasn't busy, and yet we still had to wait a long time for a simple order (chai latte, matcha latte, smoothie, and hummus toast). The matcha latte had a muddy color instead of the rich green as in the photos and was tasteless. The smoothie and hummus toast were average. In short: a big disappointment. Such a shame! Update following your comment: I'm sure we've been to your place, but we deliberately chose a place with mainly vegetarian/vegetarian options. We also had minimal contact with the staff (asking if we could sit in the garden, ordering, and paying). I was genuinely disappointed with the matcha because it was nothing compared to what I'd read/seen online. Who knows, we might return someday to see what it's like normally.

The location is nice and the place is also cute, though the tables are small and cramped. The books and newspapers are really great. The coffee is okay...a bit bitter and a bit watery, but manageable. They do focus on vegan, so they do have some unusual/special lunch and cake options...you have to like them. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait. Bikes are allowed, and you can park them at a few staples in the street, but walking is better.

Na een uurtje en een half rijden zijn we hier gestart met ons daguitstapje. We waren er iets te vroeg maar we waren zeker niet de eerste die voor de deur stonden te wachten. Heel leuk, ontspannend en groen interieur 🌸. Het terras is een gezellig binnenkoertje. Ruime keuze aan zowel warme als koude drankjes, sapjes, maaltijden, taartjes,…. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Alles was vers en van zeer goede kwaliteit 😋. Propere toiletten 👍. Als ik nog eens in Breda kom, passeren we hier zeker en vast nog eens!!

After an hour and a half drive, we started our day trip here. We arrived a little early, but we certainly weren't the first ones waiting outside. The interior is very nice, relaxing, and green 🌸. The terrace is a cozy courtyard. A wide selection of hot and cold drinks, juices, meals, cakes, and more. Very friendly service. Everything was fresh and of excellent quality 😋. Clean restrooms 👍. If I ever visit Breda again, we'll definitely stop by!

I had planned a lunch to surprise my brother with a present. The employee was happy for me to leave my present in advance and was so sweet that she filmed the surprise for us. She even left her food there and took all the time for it. Class! The (vegan) food was also delicious and the place radiates a very nice chill atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and feel grateful. PS the courtyard is beautiful!

They were extremely kind and generous when I was having issues with my card. The strawberry bliss smoothie was delicious!

I have been here multiple times now and the coffees and food never disappoint! You can also work on your laptop here, on the big table in the middle of the room. Would be nice if you could order both the lunch and breakfast dishes all day.

Mijn dochter en ik begonnen onze winkeldag met koffie bij Sowieso. Prettige inrichting en sfeer, keus uit de heerlijkste taartjes (moeilijk kiezen) én persoonlijke aandacht. Fijn!

We visited this coffee bar and ordered the toast with avocado and egg, and the pancakes. Unfortunately, the pancakes were very dry and we did not get a real egg with the avocado toast, but a vegan variant with a strange taste (while the menu did say egg). In addition, we noticed that our clothes smelled very strongly of the kitchen after the visit. The service, on the other hand, was excellent."

Food is okay, the atmosphere is very cozy and cozy, but the price is more expensive than it needs to be. (After the response I understand why the price is a bit higher, this is understandable)

The food was very tasty, we had the pancakes with scrambled egg, the sandwich and the shiitake with tzatziki. And later also the blueberry cheesecake (not in the photo). The service was smooth and friendly! The interior could be a bit cozier, but that is a matter of taste of course. We will definitely come back :)

These pancakes are the best! Very delicious and healthy with homemade hummus. Also, we got cinnamon and honey teas that came with cute ginger cookies. Girls who work there are very friendly and nice. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Dicht gelegen bij ons hotel, leek dit ons een goed alternatief voor het dure buffet in het hotel. We waren blij met onze keuze; mooi menu met veel variatie. Lekkere bowl en toast. Sapje was erg lekker. We beseften pas op het einde dat het hele menu veganistisch is…stoorde geenszins.

I have been here many times before and I always left satisfied. Recently they changed the menu but it didn’t disappoint. As a group we had the Pulled Oyster Mushroom, Eggplant Naan, and the classic Avocado Sweet Potato Toast. They were all very good alongside some cappuccinos. And the staff is always very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a cafe with good coffee and great vegan dishes, don’t hesitate to come to Sowieso!

Very nice place! I would come there again in a heartbeat. First of all, very nice and friendly staff. We are not the easiest with our company, due to allergies and intolerances, but they had pulled out all the stops to take on this challenge to serve us a fun and, above all, delicious high tea by making all kinds of adjustments. Absolutely recommended. Price is also great, especially for how much you get and how fresh (homemade) everything is. ;).

Unfortunately, 4.6 cannot be seen today. In the 15 to 20 minutes we were inside, no one said hello or came to our table. 3 people on staff who were more concerned with each other than with someone taking the lead and providing structure, it all mixed up without a clear idea. We left and even then there was no sound. Advice; When people come in, greet them, come to the table and indicate that it may take longer. Hopefully you take this wholeheartedly.

This coffee bar, where attention to detail is the norm, is the perfect place for coffee enthusiasts and vegetarians/vegans! The dishes are well composed, full of flavor and creatively prepared. The interior exudes coziness and has a warm atmosphere. It is the place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a moment of peace and pampering. The staff is also extremely friendly and attentive. Their hospitality really adds to the overall experience. Definitely worth repeating!

It was pleasantly busy (Sunday afternoon), relaxed atmosphere, super friendly employees. It took a very long time for our lunch to arrive, hence 4 out of 5 stars. The food itself was fine. Everything vegan, so easy to choose and even something to choose for us as vegetarians.

Really my favorite place in Breda! Delicious Chai and Matcha lattes. Today I used the high-tea service for the first time for my birthday. Two rounds with lots of tasty things (savory + sweet round) and unlimited tea. We were super satisfied and it was certainly a successful afternoon. So worth repeating ;)

They have delicious coffee and golden milk here. The cheesecake tastes delicious too! And the owner is a very chill guy, so it's definitely worth a visit.

2 cappuccino with oat milk. Nice! Snickers pie and apple pie. Vegan. Apple pie bottom was a bit undercooked so did not eat that. Didn’t have to pay for it and they offered me a coffee or tea on the house for the inconvenience. So service a 10+. Would certainly visit again.

We were looking for a nice place for coffee and via Google we ended up here. Super nice place, delicious coffee, tea, juice and banana bread. Recommended, the owner is happy to tell you more about his home-roasted coffee beans and is happy to help you make your choice. We will definitely come back!

We have been here before to have a drink: good coffee, but the service was mainly busy chatting with each other 🙃 We looked at our empty cups for a long time, so the service has areas for improvement.

Very pleasant atmosphere, top service. However the matcha latte had no taste. The vegan concept is cool, the prices are affordable. However, the dishes are bland, have no flavor... No taste interest. It's a shame it would just be enough to add spices. For example, pesto has absolutely no taste and that's not normal.

Very cosy place. Drinks (americano & golden latte) were good. I was just disappointed to find out they do not make any kind of drip coffee (V60 or similar). Otherwise, very recommended.

Leuke koffietent! Zit er gezellig met een goeie sfeer en bediening. Koffie is goed, het zelfgemaakte gebak ziet er goddelijk uit en eten ook prima. Als je naar de prijs kijkt mag het wel rijker belegd (€12,50). Zat maar een klein likje humus op en het brood was al wat droger…jammer. Tosti’s goed en wentelteefje zeer smaakvol met zelfgemaakt granola!!

Alleen een cappuccino gedronken maar die was echt precies zoals ik het graag heb. Klasse!

Liggen ook spelletjes en boekjes om te lezen, erg nice. Absolute aanrader.
