Food was tasty, but very salty.

I paid €20 for a meal that was finished in 3 bites... very disappointed

Very good pasta dishes, delicious appetizers, great atmosphere inside and the outdoor seating is also good.

The food was fine, but the portion was quite small. For €19.50, I expected a bit more. The wine was sour. Fortunately, this was quickly and efficiently resolved by the super-friendly and helpful staff, and I received a new glass with what was now good wine. However, serving sour wine (a bottle from yesterday or the day before?) shouldn't be allowed. Incidentally, this was the second time in a short period, so apparently something is wrong with it. Therefore, two stars for the food/drinks.

It’s a lovely place hidden behind the busy streets. The pasta was also nice, but I’m not convinced I’d come back. Still, nice atmosphere and all.

Goed concept. 6 gerechten ruime dranken kaart. Spat schermen tussen de picknicktafels geeft ook iets van privacy gevoel. Buiten dus geen normale stoelen geen aanrader dus voor de iets minder mobiele persoon. Eten goed en ook de porties zijn voldoende.

The gorgonzola ravioli was truly fantastic, down to the last drop of sauce. Very flavorful. And the panna cotta was not to be missed. Hats off.

The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the wine is good. It's a rather unusual concept, though, where you're placed at too-small tables with a random group of other people, which is disappointing. We were also advised to order the drinks platter for seven people, as it would be plenty. Instead, we were presented with a paltry platter for the outrageous price of €24.50. A ridiculous price for such a small platter. The prices are out of proportion to the concept, which is somewhere between a pasta factory and an authentic Italian restaurant.

Delicious pasta, melts in your mouth! I just found the atmosphere a bit lacking, which could also be because we were with a large group (bachelorette party).

Very nice place. The main course is pasta, followed by a few salads. The pasta is well cooked, and the sauces are revisited, not the classic Italian ones. Overall, good.

Pasta is always good. The black spaghetti with scallops, peas, and capers was delicious! The children also enjoyed it, although they thought their portions were a bit small. The service went a few times wrong, with forgotten orders and longer waits, minor issues. The location in the street is generally okay; we sat outside. I don't find those picnic tables particularly comfortable, and they don't dry properly after a rain shower (unluckily, you'll end up sitting on a plastic bag all evening). Maybe I was just unlucky, and my bench caught all the rain from two umbrellas. My advice to others is to carefully consider where you sit. The atmosphere outside could definitely use some improvement. Inside, it looked cozy and inviting, but the noise is a bit louder.

Excellent Italian food and service at reasonable prices.

As someone with a food allergy, I received very poor service, a rare experience (thankfully). The main course options were immediately reduced to two, and they refused to make any changes to their pasta, "because we simply don't do that." After much insistence, I finally got an adjustment, but then everything went wrong, including a forgotten side dish, a grumpy waitress, and a €14 overcharge. I'm giving the atmosphere 3 stars because it was nicely decorated. The price/quality ratio was unbalanced, with little flavor for a €20 pasta. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Originele pastagerechten, snelle en vriendelijke bediening, goede sfeer. Ik had de spaghetti met coquilles, doperwten en citrus, heel smakelijk! De soave die ik erbij dronk was ook lekker (de rosé vond ik wat minder). Prima zaak om vooraf iets te eten als je nog naar een concert in Tivoli gaat. Dat is nog geen 5 minuten lopen!

Onze ervaring bij dit restaurant was teleurstellend. We bestelden ons eten om 18:00 uur, maar om 19:00 hadden we nog steeds niets ontvangen. Pas om 18:45 werd ons verteld dat het voorgerecht niet beschikbaar was, terwijl we al die tijd niets hoorden over de vertraging. Er werd totaal niet gecommuniceerd, wat erg frustrerend was. Ondertussen kregen andere gasten, die later aankwamen, hun eten eerder dan wij. Uiteindelijk besloten we alleen de drankjes te betalen en naar een andere plek te gaan om alsnog te eten. Als we van tevoren wisten dat het zo zou lopen, waren we hier nooit gaan zitten. Absoluut geen aanrader!

Now I have to be honest, with a good pasta you quickly make me happy. But the pasta at the spaghettiria are also really good. Very rich taste, a good amount and a nice piece of fresh bread. The starters are also tasty, just like the desserts and the wines are tasty and appropriate. The atmosphere/decor may be unusual, but in my experience it works great for both groups and couples

pretty cheap prices for the portions and quality of the pasta, only place I've gotten free water and that's a great bonus. 10/10 recommend

It is a nice and dynamic restaurant with a variety of cakes. The taste and price performance are also very good.

Delicious pasta with accompanying good wine! Nice service. Even though it is a chain, it respects fine Italian cuisine (so no cappucino after 11 o'clock).

I paid 19.50 (nineteen euros fifty!) for ravioli with truffle and it was twelve pieces. I am almost as hungry as before, while the lady at the counter said that she was usually full. And we waited for a hundred hours in the cold under a heat lamp that didn't shine on us. And the bad thing is, Lotte wanted to warn me but I didn't want to listen. And now I'm hungry.

Very mediocre service. After a 1 hour wait we got cold pasta. No solution offered. Avoid this place!

Pasta dishes very nice but not exceptional (great portion sizes though). Unfortunately the staff were quite unattentive. We had to ask for menus, cutlery etc.

Well, an Italian won't be happy about this. Caponata? Just some grilled pieces of vegetables. Broken cooked ravioli with no taste, perfect for a retirement home. The other pastas were somewhat ok but very poor in ingredients, and dry. Atmosphere is ok, and service slow but nice. And of course everything is way too expensive for what you get. Wouldn't recommend this (anymore).

The quality of the food has deteriorated considerably in recent years. Portions have become smaller and the flavors much flatter. It is also too expensive for what you get. 25 EUR for a dish with cockles of which there are only 5? are on your plate. The student-like behavior of the staff has also become a bit too much... The staff is otherwise friendly. Too bad... because I'll skip spaghettiria from now on.

Fantastic place to eat ! This description starts with the quality of the service, exceptional! Very kind and helpful waiters, enthusiastic and polite. Concerning the atmosphere of the place, we were two people eating outside at ~9pm. The street at which the restaurant is situated is a very chill and cozy street with a luxuriant vegetation coupled with charming light, giving it a heart-warming and mellow vibe. We decided on the spaghetti alla chitarra Aglio Olio con pistacchio and on pappardelle con ragù di Vitello. Both dishes were fantastic. The number 3 was exactly garlicy enough, leading to a captivating balance. It was creamy, rich in different tastes, delicious overall, and bread was fresh and warm. The number 6 was greatly executed, and meat was mouth-watering and tender. The desserts were also scrumptious. The panacota had the perfect texture and subtil aroma of caramel. I highly recommend it ! Go for it blindly!

Delicious food and fast service

I was here once, about 7 years ago. Now another visit. Very different from 'before'. Dishes have become extremely expensive and plates are no longer as full as they were back then. Still a shame. Destruction of your own success?

Friendly service and aware that pregnant women are not allowed to eat raw cheeses. Large portions, delicious food. Forgot to say. Surprised by a step in the middle of the restaurant. A clearer red-white checkered marking would be better, because I almost fell here and fortunately landed well on both feet.

Food was too pricey for the quality. A simple pasta (ravioli) for €17.50 that was not really good.

We ordered arrabiata, pesto ravioli and mushroom pasta. Arrabiata was a bit dry but the other two were very good.

Food tasted good but one of the two portions was quite small and the atmosphere was good. However, the service was poor. Our order was forgotten - which can happen. When we asked, we only received our drinks and not our food. After asking again about the food, the answer was “we have problems in the kitchen, but I’ll check again”. After another few minutes (drinks had long since been empty) the waiter came and asked what we had ordered - obviously our order wasn't even taken or passed on. The first waiter didn't apologize and a colleague took over the communication with us. Mistakes can happen, but after we realized we had been forgotten the first time we asked, it shouldn't have happened again while eating. I wouldn't come back - we pretty much "wasted" our last holiday evening in Utrecht here.

Delicious pasta. It was fairly quiet for a weekday. We sat inside by the window. The view wasn't very nice, but luckily the food made up for it.

I would like to say something about the food in particular. Service and operation are completely fine! The menu consists mainly of pasta. Choice of 2 starters. Description of the bruscetta looks good, but the execution is tasteless. This also applies to the pasta dishes. I opted for the pasta with eggplant and burrata. There were no fewer than 5 mini cubes of eggplant in it, no fresh herbs to speak of and I certainly didn't expect a whole ball of burrata, but this could be much better. Beautiful atmospheric terrace on the Korte Koestraat, friendly staff but to call it Spaghetteria (Italian twist) well no!

Hi traveler! I was frequently visiting other branch of this place. That's why I wanted to try this one too. If you like pasta, I recommend it. Let me give you the reasons. Pros; - They've the best pasta in Utrecht so far. - Their interior design is also cozy and chilling. (Other branch is a little bit better in this sense.) - Their bread and tiramisu are also worth to try. - Staff is very friendly and easy to communicate. - You don't wait too much for dishes. - Prices are reasonable compared to quality of service and taste of dishes. Cons; - To be honest, there is no big negative side for me. Just one thing; it can be a little bit noisy on crowded hours.

The salad was not necessarily a meal salad, but this did not detract from the overall experience in the restaurant! There is always friendly staff here who are happy to help you and the atmosphere in general is worth 5 stars. In the end, the two of us enjoyed pasta, salad, bottle of wine and a delicious tiramisu.

Delicious food, good service and nice staff! We were 14 people but it all went very well. So also very suitable if you want to eat here with several people 👌🏼

In response to your question: The main courses, pasta with sausage and pasta with beef, were very tasty. We both found the side dish, the fennel salad, very boring and did not really match the pasta. The atmosphere is good and the decoration is fine, but the staff was very uncomfortable. The waitress was a bit awkward in communication. A drop of red wine was spilled on my clothes. I had to go after this myself, but she didn't know what to do with it. First she gave me a dry paper towel. Then I said I needed something wet, she wet that paper towel a little. I indicated that that wasn't going to work, then she gave me a dirty dishcloth that wasn't wet enough either. I then took the wheel into my own hands and then another colleague came along who didn't really know what to do and looked at me a bit strangely. Not all that bad, they were young people and you have to learn it sometime. But I don't think they learned it because they didn't pay attention to it.

Friday evening ~8:00 PM. There was still plenty of room inside. Great tent. Nice to sit on the corner with a view of the lively intersection. We received a friendly welcome and the food arrived quickly and tasted good. Afterwards it felt like we were a bit 'forgotten'. It took so long before someone came to our table again (we had already finished), that we decided not to order a desert and pay for it. Something else that could be improved: that annoyingly present music. It looked like sky radio or something was on. No relaxing music and not something that really suits the tent.

It is what it is... Nothing to highlight.

Good food for an appropriate price

An absolute must! Disinterested and unfriendly staff.

Great time visiting while on vacation. Cozy, lively environment, great food, good service. Sat at a large table with other groups, but still felt private.

The concept of the kitchen is to cook the few dishes in large quantities and then place them on a large counter, ready to be served, where they wait to be picked up by a waiter. Resulting in everyone at the table getting their food at a different time. You can't eat together without your food getting cold. Also, we waited for over an hour (!) before the first person got their meal. There are only big tables like in a canteen, you sit together with strangers. It is so noisy that you can hardly hold a conversation. Absolutely unacceptable for this price range, the food is only mediocre, portions are really small and the service is very poor.

Noisy, not much by way of food selection, limited options for drinks

I’ve lived in Utrecht for many years and always wanted to try this restaurant. Went for the first time today and it is also the last time. The food was ok but took over an hour to make. Not worth waiting that long for simple pasta. The waitress apologized and was surprised it hadn’t arrived. She wanted to give us free coffee and tea but we just wanted to leave. It would've been better to give a small discount if they were that sorry about the experience. The only positive was the restaurant does offer gluten free options.

Ball tent. 'Reservations were not necessary, there is always room' When we arrived there was no room. 'It takes 15-20 minutes until you can sit down' 40 minutes later there was no room.

The noodles taste really good. The open kitchen makes the whole thing even more harmonious because you can see how everything is prepared and cooked. Great nice waitresses. The ambience has been kept very simple. Price & performance ratio is great.

Dear Spaghetteria, Your takeaway meals Pasta 6 and Pasta 7 are really substandard. For the price of 20.50 per takeaway container, the price/quality ratio goes way beyond the curve. It was a bowl of pasta dough with some very small pieces of meat in between. It was called a dish with veal ragout.... Mezze maniche con ragu di Vitello, but there was no sign of the ragout, red wine, parsley and rosemary. On the website the dish is shown as well filled, together with a piece of bread. That wasn't part of it either. The tiramisu for 8.50 was excellent! The whole thing was, after all the effort I had to put in to place a pick-up order... quite disappointing. Emma Two months ago I wrote the above about your Pasta meals that were very substandard when taken away. Really extreme. In response, we received a generous voucher to make up for the pain - it was a memorable birthday celebration. A truly generous gesture and we felt welcomed tonight in the Spagheteria on the Wittevrouwensingel. Great - that's how it can be done!

Too crowded, very stressed atmosphere, service staff not good enough, but nice food

Special concept with square tables where you sit at the table with strange people. No further comments. The food was delicious, the service was fast and it looked nice.

Het nagerecht was verrukkelijk, de tiramisu was favoriet! Tip; met balsamico, olijfolie en zout is het perfectie.

Het was super! De wijn was heerlijk. Tip: vooral met een beetje zout, peper en balsamico. Perfectie, genoten van de date.

Heerlijk gegeten met een leuk concept waarbij iedereen aan dezelfde tafel aanschuift. Onze kinderen van 2 en 4 hebben lekker een kinderportie meegegeten.

Vol en druk en medium goede bediening. Ik moest drie keer (echt waar) om de rekening vragen. Met drankjes en eten waren ze snel. De pasta vond ik van medium kwaliteit.

Echt heel erg lekker Italiaans eten bij de Spaghetteria! De pizza’s zijn vooral super goed. De service is prima, personeel kan wat heftig overkomen. Verder is de sfeer hier erg goed en gezellig. Leuke plekjes waar je kan zitten in een mooi pand in een mooie ‘steeg’ in Utrecht. Aanrader!

Wij zijn erg geschrokken van de kwaliteit - hoeveelheid EN de kwaliteit - prijsverhouding van uw afhaal Mezze maniche con ragu di Vitello. Ronde bakjes ter grootte van een soepkom / bowl. Erin dikke pasta (penne?) met fliedertjes vlees. Droog, geen saus. En dat was het dan. Zelfs het brood dat basis is van een Italiaanse maaltijd ontbrak. Ronduit armetierig. Locale davvero bello, non troppo sfarzoso, ma curato. Abbiamo iniziato con una burrata, pomodorini e crostini. Dopodiché un piatto di creste di gallo con salsiccia e spaghetti alle cozze (un po' troppo cotti a dirla tutta). Dopo i primi ci siamo diretti sul cannolino con ripieno di pistacchio e tiramisù al marsala. Qualche caffè e un limoncello offerto. Personale disponibile, alla olandese (professionale ma leggermente distaccato rispetto all'hospitality italiana). Sinceramente ho apprezzato molto: il brand è ben curato e onesto, i cuochi italiani, la pasta e le scelte sono adatte a tutti, i prezzi competitivi. Complimenti.

For long time I wanted to try this restaurant . It is in a nice position close by the Utrecht central station and mall . We were there on Friday night around 21:30, the place was still quite full but we found a table . We had Ravioli and Creste di Gallo, both of them were nice in a good portion but they didn't really make me say wowwww, I found the sauce of the Creste a little bit too dry, the ravioli were nice but I was expecting to find pieces of walnuts . Friendly and quick service . Unfortunately they terminated both the pasta with fish otherwise we were ordering also one of them to close the night in a better way ! If you like the pasta you should definitely try this place ! I will back . PS I will add some "Trittico" of pasta and I will make some special kind of pasta such as handmade in original shape, filled and colored with different condiments, choose the pasta choose the condiment . Pasta by region etc .
