Spaghetteria Daniël Stalpertstraat in Oude Pijp

Came in for a solo impromptu dinner on a quiet Sunday evening- service was very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the black spaghetti with seafood and courgette. Cosy and warm interior and a great place to escape the cold if you’re walking around in de pijp:)

We happened to be passing by and thought it looked very nice. There's a large table in the middle, which makes dining there very sociable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. However, you go out to eat to – well – eat, and the food there was unfortunately not good at all. To put it bluntly: whoever was in the kitchen simply didn't know what they were doing. The spaghetti aglio e olio had hardly anything to do with the dish, tasted of practically nothing, and was completely stuck together. The fennel salad was a total mismatch; nothing worked at all. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend the Spaghetteria – I'm very sorry to say.

waited for 1h. they forgot our order entirely. was off to a bad start when we had to wait 15 minutes before waving down a waiter. then the other tables that came 10 mins after us started getting food before us. then the tables that came 45 mins after us. then we realized they literally forgot our order. no apology. Paid for the drinks (which I shouldn't have) and left.

Were waiting for our food for over 1 hour, several tables that arrived after us got their order before. We told the server after 1 hour about this and he didn’t seem to care, so we left cash for our drinks and left. Also the aperol spritz was flat.

Overcooked pasta. Burnt guanciale. Very basic quality.

It’s a fast food pasta. Legit for what it is. Inside the specific restaurant it was quite busy and super noisy which was not helping to enjoy our dinner.

This place is so incredibly cozy! The service was also nice, but unfortunately the food was really boring. We first looked at the menu card and were both disappointed in the variety of choices. It sounded very fancy, while we had hoped for more classic pasta courses (but with great taste and love). We agreed on our food and ordered 2 different meals. Both of them tasted bland, but had a fancy description on the menu card. My boyfriend and I both agreed that a more simple menu, for example with a bolognese or carbonara amongst them all, with more attention, love and ingredients would make this restaurant so much better!

The food was incredibly disappointing; it had almost no flavor. €20 for a plate of gnocchi in tomato sauce with literally four shrimp is absolutely outrageous! The staff said this is the norm, and it used to be only three! A real waste of money!

Been wanting to try this chain for a while! Not disappointed! Reservation was made but arrived early and staff were happy to have us seated early. Ordered food and drinks all very quick to arrive. We ordered spaghetti alla chitarra aglio olio con pistachio and also ordered tagliatelle con Ragu di vitello (with extra spice) both tasted excellent! Enjoyed our meal here!

We visited the restaurant on Friday, March 22, 2025. The pasta was tasty but not extraordinarily good. The portions were way too small, especially for that price, so we left the restaurant still hungry. The service wasn’t really good either; some friends of the mostly young waitresses were running around in socks, which didn’t create a nice ambiance.

The staff is nice, the place is too noisy when it's packed, but ok. The problem: a very, very disappointing pasta at crazy prices.

The pasta was just so bad. The atmosphere was lovely. The service was fantastic, but oh my gosh the two pasta dishes we ordered were just so bad.

A small menu, which I consider a big plus, very tasty pasta at a great price, which is such a rarity in Amsterdam. Warm light bread is served with pasta and ragu. I like that there is no too much cheese in the pasta, everything is balanced.

Company dinner here, energetic young atmosphere and delicious traditional plates. The gnocchi di patate con ragù di gamberi was well balanced, not too sweet which I’ve experienced before.

Terrible servicio, un equipo joven que parece estar mirando el espejo todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí. ¿Pedimos agua con gas y algunos cócteles que tardaron más de 25 minutos para que nuestro agua y cócteles llegaran a la mesa? Pedimos nuestros platos principales y postres, pero los postres llegaron antes que los platos principales? Pensamos que esto debía ser una broma, entonces pedimos nuestros platos principales después de esperar otros 20 minutos, solo para que nos dijeran que nuestra comida no estaba en el sistema mientras la cocina estaba preparando 5-10 platos lo que parece que los trabajadores estaban teniendo después - cena de servicio en una mesa claramente visible para el huésped. Toda la experiencia fue una broma.

The vibe here is AMAZING and the staff is so friendly. The pasta is freshly made and the taste is REALLY good. Also, the drinks , especially the limoncello spritz, is greaaaat! Not greedy with the alcohol👀 Coming back for sure!

We ordered, we waited about 40 min to get the food but they completely forgot to cook it. When they realised, the kitchen was already closed and they didn’t give us an alternative so we had to leave. Very bad experience

I know it's a chain of restaurants through Netherlands however, the atmosphere and setting was lovely. Hidden village area off the main road, hipster vibes, nice people, staff were lovely. Ravioli spinaci was superb. Complimentary Limoncello as well. What's not to like

A true nightclub, a disco, not an italian restaurant. Weird: just one year ago, we had a quiet and good, simply dinner at Spaghetteria at Rotterdam. I’m italian and know how a good spaghetti dish should be cooked. And served. And it’s need to be quiet to be eaten.

The italian food is okay, nothing special but matches the price. The service is slow and they were a bit distracted, forgetting parts of our order. The music level is insane for a dinner place. Cool if you’re with friends, but don’t expect to be able to have conversations

It was very crowded on a Saturday night and I had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated. Although it was very busy, the service attitude of the store staff was very good and enthusiastic. The food is delicious~

Great food and GF options. Only one vegan option. Great wine menu. The only disappointment was with the noise level. The music was really loud and one table was really noisy but it was great food and we had a good night out.

We had a very nice meal, the bruschetta was very tasty and fresh and we were surprised by the pastas on the menu and ate a pasta that we had both never eaten before and it was very tasty!

Went here for dinner around 9 and the place was packed. It has a cool atmosphere and was filled with young people mostly, but I also saw families and children. The music is very loud, probably a bit too loud as I struggled to hear my partner across from me, but it wasn't horrible and I liked the music they chose. Pasta was decently priced with good menu variety and service was quick as well. Pasta tasted great and really hit the spot.

Just nothing to complain about. The Spag hype has blown over a bit, but it remains a perfect no-nonsense place with good food for decent prices. Cocktails for under a tenner, Arrabbiata for under 20. Don't be put off by the fact that it's a chain

I had a terrible experience due to the extremely rude staff. The waiter was consistently disrespectful and showed no courtesy. When I requested to speak with the manager, the response was dismissive, with the manager saying, "I'm sorry, but it is what it is." I used to visit this branch regularly, but I will not return to a place where I spend money and receive no service.

Sitting outside on a sunny evening is so nice! The food was really good but the service really stood out to me as well as their Sgroppino. Really good value for the quality and a lovely homey vibe.

Imagine dining in a place so charming yet so noisy that you can barely hear yourself think. That was our experience at Spaghetteria. When we were seated and handed the menu, I asked the waiter if I could switch the sauce on my pasta, wanting ravioli with ragù instead of the standard option. To my shock, I was told this wasn’t possible. This could only mean one thing: the pasta isn't fresh. It must be pre-cooked in massive pots and simply reheated, because changing the sauce should be a simple task if the pasta were made to order. Disheartened by this revelation, we decided to leave. The staff, though professional, lacked warmth and friendliness. I won't be returning, nor will I even walk past their door again!

Food was very nice but had to ask and wait over 10 mins for menus, managed to order food but waiter left before asking for drinks and it took us 20 mins to get his attention again. Food arrived at vastly different times and portions were very small - the option to increase the portion size was on the menu but the price was not listed. Most of the chairs were very uncomfortable high chairs for some reason. Bathrooms also insufficient for number of people.

Ordenamos que la burrata compartiera como un declarante. Cuando llegó la comida le pedí al servidor un tenedor y un cuchillo porque estábamos compartiendo. ¡Él me dijo que NO! Dijo que no tienen cuchillos y que mi tenedor vendría con mi pasta principal. ¡OMG, puedes comer en McDonalds y te darán un tenedor y un cuchillo! Huelga decir que era difícil disfrutar del resto de la comida, que en una escala del 1 - 10 , probablemente era un 6 .

Wow, what delicious pasta we ate at Spaghetteria! The atmosphere is super cozy, just like you are in a small village in Italy. We really couldn't choose, so we went for half portions. This way we could taste everything! The pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente as it should be. The sauces were delicious and homemade, you could taste the love in them. The portions were more than generous, so we left the restaurant with full and happy bellies. The staff was super friendly and happy to help us choose the perfect pastas. The service was also great: fast and courteous. This is definitely recommended for anyone who loves pasta! And if you're in doubt about what to eat, go for half portions. This way you can taste everything and not miss anything!
