Spare Rib Express Wormerveer in Wijk 51 Wormerveer

We had a delicious meal. We ordered the large spareribs (1kg), more than enough for 2 people. Compliments.

We always enjoy ordering from Spare Rib Express. The meat is always tender, flavorful, and served at the perfect temperature. The portion size is just right, and the side dishes are top-notch. And the delivery is on time and super friendly.

Delivery was on time and the food was super tasty! The spareribs were nice and tender and the corn on the cob was super juicy!

What a disappointment this has turned out to be. I actually want to give 1 star, but I feel that's fair because normally this is top-notch. I've been waiting 2 hours for my food and the Wormerveer branch couldn't find my order after an hour when I called. Then he saw it and said it was on its way, another hour gone, and the order is lost again. It seems now that petrol prices have risen that they are waiting for multiple orders so they can drive more economically. Once again, a disappointment, and the food still hasn't arrived.

Having to wait 2.5/3 hours for our food, really ridiculous!! We couldn't find our order twice.

On March 6, we placed an order at the Wormerveer branch, which included the delivery of spareribs. To our disappointment, these were completely cold upon arrival and therefore unsuitable for consumption. That same evening, we contacted one of your employees by phone regarding this matter. During this conversation, we explained the situation. The employee indicated that he could potentially come by to check that the food had not been eaten. Unfortunately, because we had to leave at that moment, this was not possible. The employee also did not ask me to keep the food to return the next day to check. At that time, the employee indicated that the amount of €42.50 would be credited. However, to date, we have not received a refund. Therefore, I contacted them again by phone a few days later. During this conversation, Arno, who introduced himself as the branch manager, indicated that no credit would be issued after all. This surprises us, as we were clearly promised by phone earlier that the amount would be refunded. We find this a very disappointing state of affairs. Response to: The situation was reported by telephone that same evening in a normal and polite manner. During that call, your employee indicated that the amount of €42.50 would be credited. Based on that promise, we assumed that this would indeed happen. Furthermore, despite the fact that both the manager and the owner were aware of the situation, I was not called back. Only after I contacted them again myself was it indicated that no credit would be issued after all. Cold food was simply delivered for which a considerable amount was paid. We perceive the way in which this is subsequently disputed and handled as not customer-friendly. We have been ordering from Sparerib Express for years, which will also be visible in your system. There is no reason for us to complain about this unjustifiably.

After reading the bad review, I ordered by phone. They were very busy (February 14th), but despite the crowd, they were there within an hour. The spare ribs were very hot and delicious. One menu didn't include a container of garlic, and they brought it. Definitely worth coming back. Definitely 5 stars, and the staff are friendly.

What a disappointment. After an hour, I decided to call to ask where the food was; they said over the phone that it was a 90-minute wait and that this was stated on the website. This was not the case.... It was a wait of well over 2 hours for the food. If I had known, I would have gone to pick up my order myself, and I would have even gotten a 10% discount. The food was good, though. As a consolation, they had included 2 donuts.

Ordered a family box in 2 flavors. There were more than enough ribs, and together with the included side dishes, it was more than enough for 4 people. The ribs were super tender and well-packaged, so they were still nice and hot and you could pull the bones right out. I had the classic and the BBQ ribs. The BBQ ones are highly recommended if you want a bit more bite on your ribs. Delivery was within just under 50 minutes and delivered exactly at 6:00 PM. Perfectly timed!

Normally, I have no problems with Spare Ribs Express. Today, they were an hour late!! And the corn on the cob looked rotten! Plus, the spare ribs were cold. Very dissatisfied this time.

The food was great, but the delivery was terrible. We waited 2.5 hours. We called several times to say it was on its way, then it was coming, and then suddenly it was leaving the kitchen. It was completely unreliable. If you're willing and able to wait, it might be possible, but we wouldn't do it again.

The spare ribs are really good! The side dishes are okay, but they don't quite measure up to the main course. The price isn't that good for a delivery service. We picked up the food and got a good discount.

Never order from them. We waited 2 hours for our order, only for everything to be cold. They even hung up on me when I dared to call to find out where my order was. Not very professional 😊

The best spare ribs. Nicely presented and delivered. Even if it takes long sometimes, it is worth the wait.

Service and delivery speed sucks with the exception of the delivery person himself. Ordered on a Wednesday evening at 18:56 and received at 21:00. (The delivery time (target time) on the receipt 20:26 is already an hour and a half and that became even later. We had already called and brownies were promised because of the slow delivery time but they did not come with the order. I almost forgot to judge the quality of the food. The chicken satay is tasty, the hamburger was reasonable (neatly served separately in aluminum foil) and the spare ribs were okay, tasty and almost fell off the bone but with some dried out pieces.

Fantastic ribs and loaded potato, always delicious, and quick delivery. Only regret is that delivery is only until 21-00 and often there aren’t enough couriers, otherwise we would order more often.

Never order from Spare Ribs Express Wormerveer again What a terrible experience! We ordered no less than 160 euros worth of food from Spare Ribs Express in Wormerveer, and the order also included an extra ice cream and dessert, we assumed that this had been given as a gift because of the large order. During dinner we were called and asked if we had any ice cream and dessert left. When we answered honestly that we had already eaten it, the employee responded in an incredibly smart manner. He said to call next time if we get anything extra, as if it was our fault! So rude and customer unfriendly. This was completely unjustified. It really felt like we were being treated as if we had done something wrong and unfortunately the employee did not want to give his name. The service was downright bad and the employee clearly had no respect for customers. We will never order from here again, and discourage anyone from doing the same!

Never order via Thuisbezorgd!!!!!!!! Your food is not coming!!! Then wait for your money

Having to wait two hours for my food was killing me. A bit of a shame. Meat is fine, but for what you can get I think it's quite pricey. I prefer fries with it.

I'm waiting over 1,5 hour and the food still not delivered.. after a call I found out I need to wait half an hour more... I can't recommend

I ordered two hamburgers, they arrived very quickly and the presentation was very well presented in boxes, I liked the detail of the hamburger apart from not poaching the lettuce with steam, I recommend it!

Update; Called back the next day which was appreciated. Placed an order on Thuisbezorgd on Saturday October 21, 23 at 6:40 PM - 8:31 PM still nothing delivered. Called asking for an update. Food still had to be made....

Dry and cold food delivered. Called the company but no solution. Food could go in the trash. Waste of my money. Never again!!

Extremely expensive for what you get. Cheeseburger, 650gr Spareribs (turned out to be 520g) 42 (!!!) Euro... Cheeseburger bun was very hard and the rest tasteless. Spareribs had a reasonable taste, just not enough!

I got the tastiest angus beef burger here that I have ever eaten. Really great taste. Received well packaged and eaten nice and warm at home after 15 minutes. I didn't have to wait long, which is a shame because the wait was actually quite pleasant thanks to the people who work there.

Super snel super lekker .AANRADER

Zo droog en verbrand heb ik ze nog niet gehad. Eerlijk, 1e keer zeer te spreken over het eten. Vooral omdat het vlees makkelijk van het bot te halen was. Dochter van 7 wou ze daarom, dus tijdens eten bestellen bij mijn moeder het kidsmeal besteld. Krijg je deze taaie, verbrande zooi met nauwelijks vlees. Tegenvaller, gelukkig waren er 2 x kippenbouten menu's dus dochterlief aan de kippenbout en hop, de ribs de container in.

Heerlijk gare spareribs met een geweldige smaak. De gegratineerde aardappel is beter als die van mijn vrouw, zeker een aanrader. Perfecte sausjes erbij met een lekker stokbroodje.

Lekker! Spareribs zijn lekker mals en vallen van het bot de marinade van hot is ook echt HOT!! Heerlijk!

Ziet er na de verbouwing erg goed uit, alles nieuw en vriendelijk personeel,

Al jarenlang bestellen wij spareribs bij deze zaak. Altijd lekker en ruim voldoende. En mocht er eens wat misgaan (wat altijd kan) dan ondernemen ze direct actie. Daar kan menig restaurant nog wat van leren!

Heerlijke, malse spareribs. Binnen twee weken heb ik drie keer besteld. Bij de derde keer was het een teleurstelling. De spareribs waren aangebrand. En daardoor ook taai. Jammer. Zie foto.

Altijd is mijn bestelling met BBQ classic, koolsalade en Wedges perfect. Vlees valt van het bot

Spareribs en een Tokyo burger besteld. Supersnel geleverd. Miste wel wat ingrediënten op mijn Tokyo burger. Gebeld en zonder probleem kreeg ik een nieuwe aangeboden. Ook deze was er weer supersnel en ik kreeg er ook nog een klein bakje ijs bij. Lekker gegeten, super service.

Bestel hier al jaren en altijd goede kwaliteit spare ribs. Dit keer ging het niet goed, ze waren dingen vergeten. Dus ik meteen gebeld en binnen 20 minuten stonden ze voor de deur met nog een extraatje. Grote klasse!

Update. Na contact met de eigenaar lijkt eea keurig opgelost. Wanneer medewerkers niet de beleidslijnen van de werkgever opvolgen kan een werkgever hier weinig aan doen op dat directe moment. 19.20 spareribs besteld. Verwachte bezorgtijd over een uur. Maar na 40 minuten staat de bezorger al voor de deur. Opzich fantastisch... Jammer dat het 4 mei 2018 om exact 20.00 uur is. Na een korte opmerking hierover zegt de bezorger sorry ... Start zn auto en rijdt weg... #watisermismetrespect ?
