Pizza made from pre-fab dough, tasteless and way overpriced. Avoid like the plague

It's been a favorite spot for years. We often come here after a trade show or before I catch a movie next door. The service is always good and friendly; if something isn't to my liking, they always work with me to find a solution. The restaurant is also very centrally located and, thanks to its spacious interior and ample seating, is a great spot for work drinks and events. The loaded fries and pizzas are highly recommended, and you can also enjoy a good cup of coffee.

We just wanted a quick bite to eat. It wasn't busy. At most, 10-15 people inside. We ordered two fries and two portions of bitterballen. After waiting 20 minutes, we asked where it was. We'd lost the receipt, so they couldn't use the indoor menu (or something like that). They supposedly shouted something across the counter. We heard nothing. They said it would be ready soon. This also took over 20 minutes. We did get a free drink. Not recommended, in my opinion.

Sorry, but when you cut back on staff, things go wrong. The young man who took the order brought my receipt along with another one, only to take another order from me. He was startled when I said I'd just placed an order, rushed back to get the receipt, wrote a 7 on it, and gave me pager number 9. That was indeed wrong. I was called to take another order and saw that mine had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes, so it had cooled down. It seems the gentleman's order is on its first day. In that case, please provide assistance. Furthermore, the hall is a bit drafty, and it's better to keep your coat on. The food tasted okay, but it had cooled down. I ordered a hamburger and a croquette sandwich.

We ate here tonight after a long and enjoyable day at KreaDoe. Given the reviews, our expectations were very low, but we didn't feel like walking any further. The restaurant's atmosphere is a bit sparse, and the staff lacks enthusiasm, but we have to say, the Loaded Fries with beef stew were absolutely delicious! Good fries and very flavorful, high-quality meat. Highly recommended!

A unique experience... Five staff members stood chatting until we called them. Then we ordered, and then they started eating their own food. We waited over 30 minutes for a croquette sandwich and a simple hamburger, even though we were the only guests. The croquette had been sitting under a lamp for 10 minutes and was incredibly disgusting. Advice! If you're going to an event, grab a bite to eat in town.

Never ever did I experience such a dismal restaurants. Was her today for luncheon. Chaos. Lines a mile long. Friendly but totally ignorant staff. Cold food. A nightmare! Never again. Avoid this place. It is a trap for Jaarbeurs visitors who do not know decent food is nearby outside Jaarbeurs. OMG!

I ordered high tea as part of a movie package. The staff wasn't ready in time for the high tea: there were no napkins or cutlery on the tables, the hot portion of the high tea was cold (had it even been in the oven?), and the snacks were almost all pre-made frozen products. There were only a few tea bags on the table, and the staff had to fill thermoses with hot water (from a Quooker?) after the guests had already arrived. Nothing had been arranged in advance for people who had specified dietary requirements; everything had to be adjusted on the spot at the participants' own request. They ultimately only received a few sandwiches, so no high tea. The restaurant was partitioned off by a curtain due to a private party; the music from the live band there drowned out the entire room. Normal conversation at the table was almost impossible. High tea was definitely not worth the price and the extra cost of the package!

The only reason you'd come here for a bite to eat is probably because you're looking for something at the Jaarbeurs/Kino. Based solely on the food itself, this place wouldn't have lasted long. Well, maybe I shouldn't expect a culinary experience as opposed to reheated wholesale junk, but the prices are still reasonable. Hungry and need a quick fix? Okay. Eating out? No, absolutely not. The staff could go far with some basic service tricks like eye contact and "please" 🙃

The world is changing, but at Speys, we now serve coffee in a disposable cardboard cup! Self-service, and for €3.70!

You pay twice as much as at McDonald's for a hamburger with only half as many ingredients and it is also served cold

Bad experience. Very long queue to order, only 1 lady taking orders. Little choice and what we wanted was no longer available at the cash register. Expensive for what you get. Small cardboard containers/plates/cutlery. Little/no customer friendliness of the staff. Dirty tables. Cold because of the draft. The chicken burger was very dirty; grease was dripping out. Better to go to Burgerking or Mac

Does not accept cash. This is in contrast with the ECB which mandates that a business cannot refuse cash payments

Worthless. Just closed during Legoworld (Monday 3 o'clock in the afternoon). You come out, everyone is hungry, everything is closed, some employees are still cleaning.

Ordered stew with fries today. The price was very low so I didn't know what to expect. The portion was small but more than sufficient and the stew was very tasty. Nice spices that made the stew just a little more gastronomic. Recommended if you want to eat something before the movie.

Ordered a burger menu. The fries were overcooked and the bun was sticky and could have been warmer. It may also be that they are overcooked with old oil.

Super expensive and small portions. Order at the counter and pick up when the buzzer rings. Excellent food. I had a hamburger and fries.

Worst ravioli that I'd ever seen.

On a special evening for invited guests, the food arrived much too late and when it did arrive, the portions were huge, too much satay sauce so your fries were no longer tasty. Fries were a bit burnt and not tasty. Nice service.

Large catering establishments next to a cinema and annual fair. Plenty of space with different types of seating. Tables have a socket so you can charge/use your tablet/laptop or telephone. Friendly bartender who made me a delicious Caffeine-free latte with oat milk. You can also enjoy delicious food there. Toilets look clean and free of charge. You can pay by card or cash. Entrance is wheelchair friendly. Parking in Utrecht is, as always, problematic and expensive.

Unexpectedly stranded here. Located in the Kinepolis cinema building. A very nice and surprising environment and excellent food.

Fries were old, all small little pieces

Don't go here if you want quick food on a busy day. Waiting in line for more than 25 minutes for a bowl of pasta and a focaccia. I watched that focaccia for 15 minutes while the pasta was being made, and when the pasta was ready the focaccia only went into the oven to warm up, because she had forgotten it? The food tastes great once you get it...

The portions are clearly not enough to function as a meal. In addition, all cutlery and crockery is made of disposable materials...

What poor service and unfriendly staff

Hamburger was just about just above room temperature. It felt cold. Fries were okay. It took quite a while before I got my food. There was also quite little space to sit because they had many places only accessible to Beurs people. This while 60% of those places were visibly not being used. This is very irritating. And for this I paid € 15.40

A very nice, modern, very clean and spacious area with different offerings and varieties of food and drinks. It is located right next to the “Jaarbeurs Utrecht”. After visiting the Lego World 2023 event, I was a bit hungry and was looking for a place that was nice and quiet. Keep in mind, this was on a Tuesday and a very rainy afternoon in autumn… I chose to have a lasagna and an ice tea. The personnel was very friendly and asked me if it’s okay to wait for about 20 minutes until the lasagna was ready. Which was absolutely fine by the way. I like that it comes straight from the hot oven! It was delicious and very tasty! This was my own personal experience and my honest and personal opinion. The reviews in general are quite negative… But for me? Very positive!

High prices, small burgers and lots of salt on the fries

Ate here during a tech event. Perfectly organized for more than 1000 people. You have to wait a while before you can eat the hot dishes, but that is not surprising for so many people. Friendly service. Clean and tidy. In combination with Kinepolis, an ideal location for large conferences.

Zeer kleine porties, zeker gezien de hoge prijs! Duurt erg lang voordat je bestelling klaar is en de koks hebben ook nog eens ruzie in de keuken waar je bij staat.

De Beyondburger smaakte zoveel naar vlees, dat we ons afvragen of we niet per ongeluk een gewone burger hebben gekregen. De frietjes waren erg lekker. Het was erg rustig in het restaurant. In totaal waren er maar vier klanten en dat op een zondagavond. Daardoor hadden we wel heerlijk veel privacy, want we zijn natuurlijk in een leeg gedeelte gaan zitten. Ik heb het nog nooit zo rustig meegemaakt, terwijl het in de Kinepolis wel druk was. We waren gisteren, op een vrijdagavond een hele poos de enige klanten, maar misschien kwam dat doordat de bioscoop was vergeten het rolluik omhoog te doen en potentiële klanten dachten dat Speys dicht was.

High tea was lekker, weliswaar 1/2 uur wachten op het gekookte water. De high tea moesten we ook lang op wachten en om de scones .oesten we vragen.

Kindermenu op maar geen speeltje erbij gekregen. Bij navraag waren die helaas op :(

Wij werden als exposanten van de jaarbeurs hartelijk ontvangen met een perfecte gastvrijheid. Top

Vandaag waren we 2x bij Speys in het kader van de ALS Sunrise walk. Aan het einde van onze wandeltocht voor dit goede doel, bestelden we een zwarte koffie en thee. We kregen een papiebekertje met zwarte koffie en een papieren bekertje met heet water en een theezakje. Geen koekje erbij. We betaalden hier 7 (zeven!!!!!) euro voor!!! We konden een tafeltje bemachtigen waar mensen net opstonden. Zij hadden ook wat gedronken en 2 saucijzenbroodjes besteld. Deze mevrouw tikte op het broodje en zei: keihard, niet te eten. Ik kan me niet voorstellen wat een saucijzenbroodje kost als een papieren bekertje heet water 3,50 euro kost. Geen fijne ervaring dus 's morgens om 8 uur na een nachtelijke wandeltocht van 25km.

Naar Dutch comic con geweest, erg leuk.

Ik bestelde met een groep, allemaal de combideal rundburger, maar drie van ons kregen een vega burger. Toen we dit doorhadden ben ik teruggelopen naar de kassa, maar er werd mij verteld dat het hoe dan ook wel rund was. Een van ons had wél rund en dit was echt een andere burger. We zijn teruggegaan om te klagen en na veel moeilijk doen hebben ze een nieuwe burger gemaakt, dit keer wel rund. Hele slechte service, maar het eten was (na wat problemen) wel erg lekker.

Goede koffie en heerlijk appelgebak. De pizza was ook heerlijk!

Gezellig gezeten om wat te drinken na de kreadoe.

Ik werd niet bepaald snel geholpen terwijl het rustig was. En de tosti die er op het menu stond, hadden ze niet. Buiten dat natuurlijk echt asociaal duur omdat ze de enige zijn in de buurt.

Leuk! Lekker geluncht met gerechtjes die net ff iets anders zijn. Leuke bediening,erg vriendelijk.

Mooie en gezellige ruimte. Ik was er voor de CMG reünie.

Twee pizza’s besteld, een met tonijn en een Margarita, ze waren snel klaar en daar waren ze ook na, deeg niet gaar, veel te veel saus.. De rest van de dag hebben wij er last van gehad en uiteindelijk maar de vinger in de keel en wat maagzuur remmers en toen knapten we weer wat op.

Kan ik geen oordeel over vellen, alleen de oriental bar was open tijdens de salsa oefenavond

Is momenteel wel open maar de keuken is erg beperkt. Wat salade en hamburgers/patat. Toen ik cola light bestelde kreeg ik een petfles van 0.5l, heel apart. Ik vind de locatie wel mooi en van binnen is het erg ruim opgezet. We zijn ergens anders gaan eten maar voor drinken was het verder wel prima, de mensen die zaak verlieten waren ook vrolijk. Wel zakelijk.

I worked at a festival here it is a big place and nice for festivals and other social gatherings.

Eten is redelijk prijzen belachelijk

Een sjiekere versie van de McDonalds. Lijkt sfeervol maar is het niet echt.

Het eten is best goed, maar erg aan de prijs. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding kan dus beter. Zeg maar te duur: €4,- voor een flesje water van een halve liter. Zonder prik.

Het restaurant ziet er netjes uit. De gerechten waren goed. Maar de prijzen 😳😳 dat doen we dus niet meer.
