Rude owner who will sit and talk about the customers thinking we can't understand him. Will never come back. Food was bad and service was worse.

I wanted to order and go to the bathroom and I went to see if she was a man from the cash register and shouted that we were the first to ask him if there was a bathroom and he started screaming in front of my 8-year-old child and I didn't recommend the service

I came here for dinner with a good friend around 7:30. The place seemed practically closed, and due to the almost complete lack of communication upon arrival, it seemed as if we were not welcome. We ordered a kapsalon and a Turkish pizza and sat outside on the small terrace. The food was placed in front of us with one fork, no napkins, and no further communication from the employee. Then, after 10 minutes, one of the employees came and sat next to us and turned his volume up (really) loud to watch videos and listen to music. The feeling that we were not welcome was reinforced. Subsequently (shortly after finishing the meal), the chairs were brought inside and we were told that they were closing. We paid and just left. I don't often speak ill of the hospitality industry, but this was truly the most uncivilized restaurant I have been to in 10 years.

Turkish pizza very tough and not tasty; according to the gentleman, there are also rules regarding sauce; for instance, the employee is not allowed to serve extra sauce according to the “official rules.”

Ordered a falafel sandwich for 7.50 and received a mini pita with tasteless falafel and meager filling. Totally not value for money.

If it had been possible, I would have gladly given one star to this ungrateful, truly unfriendly owner. I accidentally placed an order because the delivery service's system incorrectly located me. I called them immediately afterward, and the owner initially assured me it was no problem. He said he would take care of canceling the order, since it had already been paid for. I was surprised when the order was marked as picked up and asked again. He assured me he was simply busy and would do it later. To this day, I haven't received my money back, and the delivery service is now suddenly saying they aren't willing to refund me, even though the order was neither placed nor picked up. It's absolutely outrageous because he didn't lose anything; he simply exploited the situation to scam someone. And this despite repeatedly confirming it wouldn't be an issue. No one should support this kind of business.

Very bad. The owner listened in on a conversation I was having with a table next to me, and he assumed I was racist and unreasonable. We had a big argument a little later. Which, if you ask me, is the reason. Spend your money here. Noor more.

The shawarma sandwich was super tasty. And the service was very friendly and attentive.

VERY BAD! Ordered food today, June 7, 2025. Very plain chicken shawarma and fries. You'd expect a shawarma place to have their "business core," but it was anything but! Terrible, absolutely no flavor. The "salad" was old and limp. The chicken shawarma (with a hair in it!) was overflowing with oil and absolutely no seasoning or flavoring, followed by a hair in your food. Yuck! Shawarma, dry, unseasoned, and everything you could possibly want in a proper shawarma, absolutely disgusting! The sauces were watery, not even the garlic smell; you could just take them out of a bottle and put them in a container yourself. Okay, okay, there was a piece of bell pepper in there, but it was in a full container, and they delivered it within the stated time. Too bad!!! Absolutely wrong. Never ever again!

Food arrives very late, without a fork. Then you stand with your food without cutlery. What a bad company. And then he says that I have to add that I want a fork wtf..

Bread was cold and like gum, I asked for a döner and had a little bread and the meat and vegetables for putting them myself on the bread I asked all the vegetables except for the tomato, he gave me tomato anyways and below all the vegetables was a orange liquid who know what's was it. Never coming back all of that for 8€

We come in, place an order. I'm waiting for 20 minutes, and a colleague comes up to me and says, "Have you ordered anything yet?" I said 20 minutes ago, but you haven't started yet? He; Ahh no, but it will be ready in 2 seconds. I; You know what, never mind!

We ordered takeaway. One falafel plate and one kabab kofte plate. Everything was freshly cooked for us. The falafel were the authentic Egyptian kind (green inside). The kofte were perfectly seasoned and delicious. Accompaniments included freshly cooked fries, bread, chutney, and sauces. Giving us slices of pineapple as dessert was a lovely surprise. The portion sizes were generous and the food delicious. I will definitely order from here again. I recommend it.

We enjoyed the chicken shoarma dishes and chicken fillet dish wonderfully. We enjoyed it. Thank you, on time and wonderfully warm.

Whenever I'm in the area I stop by for a nice simple shawarma or mergez. Delicious and not overly expensive.

Food still not received after 1.5 hours... we call service bad, they say they called us which is not and only send food back with next order worthless never order here again...

Geweldige Turkse pizza’s en goede bediening

Twee kapsalon en een dürüm döner besteld. Blijkt bij afrekenen dat ik de grote kapsalons heb gekregen zonder dat ik daarom gevraagd heb. Vervolgens is de grote kapsalon helemaal niet groot te noemen! "Zo gaat dat in de horeca meneer". Nee zo gaat dat niet. Vraag een klant gewoon of hij een grote of kleine kapsalon wil als deze dat niet zegt, in plaats van gewoon het duurste te verkopen. Dat is klantvriendelijkheid. Eten was gelukkig wel lekker. Inrichting kan weleens een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Lekker lamsshoarma besteld in ons Ibis Hotel in Scheveningen. Via site besteld met thuisbezorgd.nl. Netjes binnen opgegeven tijd bezorgd in hotel! Eten was erg lekker en vers bereid! Lamsshoarma , bijna nergens te koop, vroeger op de boulevard in Scheveningen, maar daar zit helaas geen restaurant met shoarma meer! Sphinx voor ons een prima alternatief in Scheveningen!

A place I miss when I try something new in the hague. It can never compare to Sphinx. They never disappoint. Everything on the menu is just delicious. Always delivered hot. Always delivered fast. Portions are generous. Even their chips and side salads are just incredible. We usually get the Donner wraps and they are to die for: so much juice & so much flavour. Highly recommend.

My go to place for a plate of kapsalon! Their meat is always fresh and juicy and their flavours always consistent!

Nog nooit ontevredenen geweest over iets wat ik bestelde. Eten is prima, en vaak een leuk praatje aan de balie als ik het op kom halen. Ik blijf hier komen, want ik ben blij dat zit soort zaakjes bestaan! En wat ook fijn is… altijd tot laat open! Groet, René

Ordered spare ribs with the gebakken aardappelschifjes for delivery. Food arrived hot, with the fries still crispy. The ribs, salad, and fries were all spectacular. This is a place that loves to cook, and holds their food to a very high standard. The salad had a pickled chutney as a dressing and was superb. Even came with pineapple. The sauce portions were generous and delicious. This place deserves your business instead of the countless other shawarma/ kebab/ late night pizza spots that care much more about money than quality. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Een heerlijke shoarmaschotel voor niet te veel geld. Vriendelijke mensen in de bediening en momenteel helemaal coronaveilig. Een aparte ruimte om bestellingen op te halen, nu het restaurant van overheidswege gesloten is. Er wordt ook bezorgd. Ik was met name verrast door de extraatjes, zoals de salade en de zoete verrassing! Top gekookt, mijn buik is blij!
