Sportstad Café in Wijk 01 Heerenveen

What nice and spontaneous staff. I had a delicious meal there and find the staff very spontaneous and friendly.

Bad service. It took a long time, dirty tables. Lazy staff and they didn't come to ask for a second round of drinks. The food wasn't tasty and took a very long time. I mentioned this too, but they didn't do anything about it. A shame. I have eaten well a few times, but it varies a lot who works there. It was hopeless this time.

I ended up here thanks to a fellow driver, but the food is really very good. The staff is friendly, and you can park your truck in the large parking lot. Definitely worth a repeat visit. There aren't many places left where drivers can go, but this is a welcome addition.

Today was Caparis' sports day. We usually have a bite to eat here, and this time it was a major disappointment. Orders were way off, and the staff wasn't very friendly. This isn't what I'm used to from Heerenveen sports café (disappointing).

We'd heard from several drivers that the food here was good. I was here last Thursday and also attended an après-ski evening. Despite that, there was a great atmosphere and the food was excellent! The staff was super friendly, but you have to use the gym showers to shower, and you can't use a private shower.

Yesterday, I had the spontaneous idea to go to a Heerenveen match from Utrecht. Before and after the match, we had a wonderful time at Sportstad, watching football and skating while enjoying a nice beer and some snacks. The decor is neat, the atmosphere is good, and the young woman, whose name I don't know, was excellent. The service was also very quick and attentive, a great experience! The chicken tenders are highly recommended :)

Three tables were occupied, but they didn't notice me, even with two staff members... I had to chase down the staff to take my order. I got my coffee pretty quickly, but I'm still waiting for my fries with "war" sauce. I left after waiting 30 minutes. I'll never go back there again; I'll just go to the supermarket further down the road.

Before visiting, I looked up the menu online. It looked good. Unfortunately, when we got there, we could only order from the "snack menu"... (the chef must have been off or sick). We then ordered a small snack. The buns were dry, as if they had been taken out of the bag the day before. The hamburger was still floating in the grease on the bun. A little greens on top was also too much to ask. Ultimately, you want to pay, and here too, the lack of experience was painfully evident. The customers before me had already paid, but according to the employee, not everything. It was also hilarious that two containers of fries came out of the kitchen, but no one knew who they were for. Tip for the cafe: use fresh bread, don't put a kilo of fat on the hamburgers, ask if they want butter on the cheese or ham sandwich, or leave a small container with the plate.

We come here regularly when our little man is at swimming lessons. Every time, we have a delicious lunch with a nice cup of coffee. And the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Yes, it's quite nice, but there are no desserts available as listed on the menu. Hence, a 1.

For 16 euros, you're not really getting your money's worth. A tasteless salmon salad with no dressing. A pile of dry lettuce on your plate with some red onion, not even half an egg, and very little salmon. For that price, it was truly ridiculous what you got. The service was fine, but I wouldn't go there for lunch again.

I regularly come here with my wife for a bite to eat and a drink. Very cozy; a real living room atmosphere! We have now chosen several menus from the menu and so far everything tastes delicious. Delicious old-fashioned meatballs with vegetables and fried potatoes. Delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and everyone feels very welcome. Highly recommended! p.s. Thanks for the beautiful hat!

Very cozy and accessible catering establishment. Always friendly and cordial. Top kitchen with fresh ingredients. We like to come here. Texel Skuumkoppe on tap; brought by Santa Claus. Highly recommended for a delicious snack and drink.

Tasty food. Nice restaurant and truck parking area.

Ordered salad, ingredients were missing and it was way too watery. When the salad was finished, there was a puddle of water in the plate.

Had a delicious lunch here, really value for money. Super friendly staff and it looked very neat, you didn't notice that you were in a sports cafe. Had another coffee and this was also fine. We will definitely come back here!

Soggy and limp fries with broken open croquette. Which they leave for almost 10 minutes. Thanks for the cold stuff. Been twice and twice nothing

Sat here every week for swimming lessons and the service was the same every week. Upon arrival, they were helped fairly quickly, because several parents walk in for a drink, but then you don't see anyone anymore. If you then order a second drink at the bar yourself, you will be looked at strangely. Tip for the service: regularly walk around the shop or along the tables so that we can order something and do not hide behind the bar and therefore out of sight of your guests.

Very good atmosphere and service!!

A bit expensive, but you'll be comfortable there for a while and that's why it gets 3 stars. The service could also be a bit better, because we waited for 45 minutes until the service finally came to take our order and it was not busy at all. The food is tasty and I enjoyed the bitterballen.

Also had to wait half an hour for my order to be taken, it wasn't even busy.

These people do not treat you normally, they are verbally abused, this job is not suitable for these people at all

Waited a ridiculously long time for employees to take my order. They were concerned with everything except me as a customer. When I went to the cash register to simply place my order there, I was sent to my table and told that they would come to the tables to take my order. Then I waited another 10 minutes and when no one came again we went to the cash register again and this time I was just completely ignored. Really ridiculous, it was absolutely not busy, this makes no sense at all

Went here at 3.45 pm for a cup of coffee. The grandchildren had swimming lessons. It was not busy in the cafe. Waited almost 1/2 but no service. As far as I can judge: nice staff but unsuitable for this job.

I had to load the car at the Heerenveen stadium, but everything was full, it doesn't matter, I'll take a look further. However, I was very hungry and had not had breakfast yet. I saw a sign saying: TIP! Meatball sandwich with tomato soup. Delicious. I thought the door is open, I'm hungry, I walk in. The man, I assume owner?, is talking to a customer (I think). I wait politely. He walks up to me and says what I can do for you. I say I would like a meatball sandwich. He says, no, the kitchen is not closed until around 11 o'clock. Well I understand that. Will I get a nasty comment, yes, but we're also closed, right? (maybe not his day? Grumpy?) Strangely enough, out of quick reaction, I say oh sorry and I greet him kindly hello, there was no more greeting after that. Anyway, I'm walking outside again. Let me look back... I almost started to doubt myself. What just happened? The door is open, the sign is clearly placed next to the entrance. Well, customer friendliness apparently does not exist at this sports café. It certainly didn't feel welcome. Fine, I'll get some food from a café/restaurant that puts customer friendliness first. Unsolicited tip, from entrepreneur to fellow entrepreneur: kindness costs nothing... But it takes you very far.

Update: Inmiddels een nieuwe poging gedaan en dat ging helemaal goed. Heerlijke burgers gegeten! Origineel: Afgelopen maandag (in de kerstvakantie) voor het eerst hier besteld. Na al dat kerstkoken echt zin om iets te laten bezorgen na werk, helaas viel dat tegen, want het kwam veel te laat en niet meer warm aan. Wel excuus ontvangen en een compensatie, schijnbaar liep er qua verwachte bestellingen en beschikbare bezorgers wat mis die avond. De burgers die we besteld hadden zagen er goed uit en smaakten zelfs koud/lauw ook nog wel (alhoewel ik het het liefst warm had willen proeven zoals het bedoeld was), maar die raad ik wel aan. Daarnaast zou ik op dit moment eerder kiezen voor ophalen dan bezorgen.

Mijn dochter geeft een (zwem) feestje en sportcafé was net die dag gesloten wegens personeelsfeest. Maar speciaal voor dit feestje gaat het café een uurtje open om mijn dochter's feestje te voorzien van limonade met patat en snackje. Super geregeld en wat een service! Mijn dochter voelt haar heel speciaal nu. Mede dankzij sportcafé een superfeest!

Wat een leuke plek is dit. Leuke vlotte bediening en goede thuisbezorging.

Het was niet druk, daarom alle aandacht. Vriendelijke dame (uit Drachten) die tijd had/nam voor een praatje.

Met de meiden voetbal Academie een leuke middag gehad. Wedstrijd Leeuwinnen - Kameroen gekeken op de tv's. Hapjes drankjes en gezelligheid. Veel gelachen, goede bediening en met 38 man redelijk gelijktijdig gegeten. Rekening gehouden met gluten intolerantie. We kunnen niets anders zeggen dan een geslaagde dag. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en als toegift alle kinderen een softijs gekregen.

Was hier als toeschouwer bij een danswedstrijd. Er was (veel) te weinig personeel met als gevolg lang wachten en veel tafeltjes die niet afgehaald werden. Jammer, want het ziet er mooi uit.

Goed geholpen door de jongedame achter de balie, goede uitleg gekregen, de badjuffrouw met haar blonde krullen was ook erg aardig. Ik heb heerlijk gezwommen. Tot de volgende keer.

Op een wedstrijd avond niet naartoe gaan , of wacht tot de wedstrijd is begonnen. Anders wacht je eindeloos. Rest van de week gaat wel goed. Daarom maar 2 sterren.

Mooie en zeer modern complex. Een genot voor elke vereniging, (waar onder Basketbal vereniging Dynamische 75) om daar te mogen trainen en te spelen. Het sportcafe is een heerlijke chil plek voor en na de wedstrijd

Super lekkere biertjes en lekkere hapjes. En een goede bediening. Voor mij een aanrader.

Mooi groots opgezette multifunctionele ruimte, waarin vele sporten worden beoefend, tevens genoeg ruimtes voor bijeenkomst o.i.d. verder leuk ingericht sport café.

Openingstijden zijn soms wat onduidelijkheid

Eten is goed en sfeer ook. Voor wanneer je het als sportkantine ziet wel duur.
