STACH Food in Helmersbuurt

On the 5th November at 6:18am a staff stole my money by charging me an extra €37.50 (probably pocketed it) the company still hasn’t issue my refund even with the photo evidence and cctv footage that I mentioned they should watch. Respond to my email asap it’s been several weeks.

Terrible staff/cashier- we asked for some ingredients and she was rude while rolling her eyes. The place is also dirty. Not pleasing

I bought one tee and one coffee, it was a little too much but tasty. They had cupcakes you could try for free.

The Smoked Salmon sandwich is AMAZING. peanut butter cups are also 🫡

please look into how to make matcha 🙏 you have to really mix it first in a bit of hot water with a bamboo thing in a “W-motion” until it’s all bubbles and then add the milk. and it would be responsible to keep plantbased milk as the default 🫶

What a horrible waitress! She couldn't even say "good morning" or "smile!" I had to repeat everything twice, cold coffee, and a questioning look... Yes, my coffee fish was COLD! She made new ones with difficulty, and without looking at me. I'll never get my coffee again! Terrible service.

The Lebanese sandwich special is soooo good.

The sandwiches were delicious. The crispy bacon avocado sandwich with pesto tomato is especially recommended. The seating is very nice, and the café is beautifully decorated and in a great location.

I'd call this a bodega of sorts, with a bit of an assortment of offerings. That said, the hot chocolate I had here was delicious. The service was fine, and the decor is cute.

I ordered 3 vegetarian empanadas. Later it turned out that two of them were filled with meat. The person at the counter also made a mistake with the price and charged me extra. I am not going there again.

The dirtiest thing ever. My glass had not been cleaned at all from the previous user. Literally the previous customer's drool was hanging on my cup

The sandwich i had was made quickly and delicious. It was pleasantly quiet when I was there, despite a good number of customers.

Service is terrible! It has happened to me twice now that I arrived 30 minutes before closing time and the equipment had already been cleaned, so I could no longer order anything.

I ordered flat white but it was more like cappuccino with one shot of coffee , tables are so dirty and when we were there to order the blonde girl was sitting there and working with her phone and drinking instead of taking our order or cleaning the tables…. not recommended at all

If I come in 20 minutes before closing time, the coffee machine has already been cleaned!?! Nice then.

Terrible Coffee, very bad service overall, the girl in the teller was checking her phone for 5 mins before even approaching us to then give us a terrible flat white. The place is really cool though

The Café Flat White & the chocolate 50% are very good, the cleanliness of the portafilter machine needs improvement.

The bread is fresh and healthy, there are many vegetarian options, the space is comfortable, and the food is delicious. The service is also very good, but sometimes there are a lot of people.

What fantastic service. Maxime and Maegan in particular have helped me tremendously with all my allergies and choices. 10/10!

I love it, there's one sandwich in particular that I'm a fan of, the metball.

Service, staff and atmosphere is great but unfortunately the food is really bad. Ordered the gruyere melt and sushi salmon avocado roll, and both tasted bad. The melt sandwich was very dry, almost empty with very little to no cheese.

After the lady behind the counter made me wait 10 minutes because she was having a personal conversation with a friend, we then bought our drinks and chocolate chip cookie. This was the strangest bad tasting chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten, after 2 bites I looked at my cookie and saw that it had hairs in it. The most unsanitary place in Amsterdam.

This morning I got an iced matcha at this Stach, the staff chatted quietly while I stood there and typed in my order without saying a word. Then this was really the most sour and least tasty matcha I have drunk in my life, not worth the 5.50

I had a chicken sandwich and a latte. The table wasn't cleared and was messy. The staff was friendly. The price isn't bad either. It was a place I went to spontaneously in a somewhat hip atmosphere, and I tried to eat something simple, but it wasn't that delicious. A pigeon came in and was calmly eating bread crumbs. It would be better if the store was kept clean.

Dirty!!!! This is the second time I’ve come to a place where they don’t clean, myt tea with four mint leaves, the first time I’ve received such a serving in the Netherlands in 10 years, 3.95 € The girl said that we need to ask for more. 12.10 17.40 time, I didn’t ask to wipe the table and clean up, I just won’t be in tears once I stop here!

The Jack fruit sandwich was great. Matcha latte was also on point

Love this cute place for craving for sweets. They have so many good options for a good meal and also sweet treats. And the staffs are friendly kind with smiles. I like stopping by for soft ice cream and cookie when is unexpectedly raining.

We wanted to drink our coffees inside yet they gave us takeaway cups without even telling us they're ready and didn't bring the drinks to us to our table (even though other customers got their drinks in GLASSES brought to their tables.) The drinks were way too expensive for their size. Don't recommend for tourists.

This will be the last time I visit Stach. The girl at the cash counter was downright rude and seriously lacks proper training in customer service. Rolling her eyes when I asked a genuine question about the ingredients is unacceptable, even if she didn't say anything inappropriate. Additionally, the menu is misleading. A "Chicken Avocado Sandwich" should not contain vegan chicken. If it’s not real chicken, it should be labeled differently. Simply putting two leaves to indicate it’s vegan is like expecting a pedestrian to read all the road signs when they're not in the driver's seat.

Mostly a no-frills place to have breakfast/brunch. Coffee was average, tasty sandwiches, and good enough service. You can buy food as well here, like a mix of a supermarket and cafe.

A little confused as to how and why the “sandwich machine” was cleaned and closed two hours before closing time. Everything is subpar but if you are hungry and in a rush then go for it.

I ordered a sushi salad here and was disappointed with the content and the price-quality ratio. 10 euros for a tiny bit in a cardboard bowl. A few cucumber slices, some cashew nuts and tempeh and some raw vegetables. I don't know why it was called sushi because there was no rice in it. I don't think the price is reasonable, especially because you have to pick it up at the counter yourself also comes in a cardboard box if you want to consume it on site. But also too poor for take away! The tables were not clean and there was no attention to the customer. 3 staff were busy working together behind the counter. The interior of the place looked nice. No more Stach for me!

Super practical because 10 minutes from the museums with a choice (including vege) and very friendly staff! Their sandwiches are really delicious!

The coffee/capucinno here is tasteless and way too expensive, which you also get in a simple plastic disposable cup. Waste of money. Salads and lunch dishes are not special but okay

If you do not have any options left and you’re just desperate to take a quick bite, this will be a relatively good spot. The crispy avocado sandwich was a disappointment. It was 7.95€ and there was barely any avocado. The flat white was 4.40€ which was rather underwhelming. I’ll highly suggest for you to walk another 100m to Uncommon Cafe which has legit coffee and matcha and vegetarian food.

This stach will always be my favorite! Delicious sandwiches, fast service and, in my opinion, much more range than at other branches!

Una cafetería muy cuca ubicada cerca de los parques de Amsterdam. Los precios no son muy exagerados para la media de Amsterdam. Para comer si que parece mucho más caro que para tomar un café o merendar.

Their chai latte and (urban) brownie are especially good!!

Absolutely awful service. First hour after opening and nothing is available and the staff are just standing around talking and give you attitude for trying to order. Then they also pack everything up at least 1-2 hours before closing, so you can’t order anything fresh then either (cookies, croissants all stuffed in boxes, so wasteful). Food is also mediocre at best and you can tell the staff just don’t care.

Locale piccolino prevalentemente da asporto, ma con qualche tavolino per consumare in loco, che offre cibi pronti non solo Asiatici. Lo abbiamo incontrato per caso tornando dal museo di van Gogh in direzione centro città. Abbiamo preso del sushi e delle empanadas, tutto buono e ad un prezzo dopotutto economico per quelli che sono gli standard di Amsterdam. Direi soluzione adeguata per un pranzo veloce ed economico.

*Didn’t see any asian food, only a bakery and cafe, but this is the correct address Visited STACH in early March 2023. Picked up some baked goods, including a few amazing florentines and a couple rich and delicious STACH-brand chocolate bars. The ambience was bright and cheery. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend visiting this location if you’re in the area.

Ik was van plan om naar de starbucks te gaan maar besloot toch hier naar binnen te gaan. Geen spijt! Was goedkoper uit en smaakte net zo lekker

I went there with friend and didn't disappointed us at all. The "panini" that we ordered were delicious, fresh and really tasty. Only a little tip, the waiting time to get the food was quite a lot. But, reasonable! Recommended.

Tables were not clean. There was an 80 cent fee for an cappuccino with plant based milk. This is an unacceptable high fee. The drinks were in disposables. Not good for the environment and not nice to drink. I got the impression they could not handle the pressure. But is what not crowded at all. Maybe hire more workers instead. The vegetarian chicken sandwich was tasty.

Seeehr guter Kaffee dazu Hafermilch, Sojamilch, Mandelmilch und Kokosmilch zur Auswahl. Sehr schmackhafte Sandwiches mit weißem oder dunklem Getreide. Die Küchenvarianten sind ein Traum. Sehr viele vegane Optionen!

Very good vegan chicken (from jackfruit) sandwich, but a bit small for the price. They also have very unique drinks and fast service.

Leuke plek, heeeerlijke broodjes, koek en chai Latte! Het verschild altijd heel erg per stach locatie of het eten lekker lijkt en de sfeer. Maar deze stach is zeker een aanrader!

koffie en koekje was lekker, maar de macarons braken mijn hart. Ik denk dat ze daar een maand lang hebben lopen fossiliseren. Ik weet hoe ze moeten smaken en deze waren mishandeld. Het waren dure tandenbrekende rotsen en ze moesten weg. Daarnaast oogde het rommelig, de suiker was op (hoe dan? Die dingen koopt vermeend koffiewinkeltje dwangmatig in bulk), en werd ik niet echt lekker gemaakt door de echte deli broodjes, daarvoor in de plaats verwarrende sushi die ik op tienduizend andere plekken kan kopen en niet echt bij het STACH imago passen? vind ik.... Ben ook bang na die hoogbejaarde macarons dat de sushi mij naar het ziekenhuis gaat sturen.

Ik kom hier vaak vanwege de lekker sushi en broodjes maar de prijzen zijn ondertussen veel te hoog voor de kwaliteit die flink is gedaald. De broodjes zijn slecht klaar gemaakt. Klef en plakkerig en nauwelijks te eten en dan is er geen servet te bekennen. Geen lepeltjes voor de koffie. Het is tegenwoordig vaak vies en rommelig. Alle bakprodukten staan als gewoonlijk buiten maar het ziet er niet zo hygiënisch meer uit. Van een 5 naar 2 gezakt voor mij

Sehr gutes Sandwich aber Bedienung wirklich unfreundlich und faul. Leider sogar beim Verzehr im Lokal alles verpackt und lieblos zur Abholung über den Tresen geworfen (wir saßen 50cm neben der Kellnerin und waren die einzigen Gäst) Schade, das man sich so absolut nicht willkommen fühlt in dem ansonsten entzückenden Cafe mit süßen Blumenarrangements am Tisch.

Apart assortiment met veel ophaalwerk, zoals broodjes en snacks, aparte manier van uitstallen, leuk concept, een aanrader!

Om effe tijd te doden (te vroeg voor afspraak in de buurt) sprongen we binnen bij Stach voor een drankje. Service was traag, tafels waren nog bedekt met vuile glazen en de cappuccino zag ze niet uit. De dame achter de toog bleef maar met een stokje in de beker roeren?! Nee, niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
