Extremely good vegan chicken sandwich, get it with chili oil! Companion had the meatball truffle and said it was delicious! Forgot to take pics, but messy and good!

When ordering coffee, be sure to consider what size you'd like. They made the standard large. Coco's macaroon was decent. The service wasn't very positive. It could have been a bit more cheerful.

We were craving a nice cup of coffee and a cookie. It's understandable that you can get different sizes of coffee in a place like this, but making the biggest one if a customer doesn't specify and simply orders two is less so. What enormous cups! Thanks, I'll bounce back later. I think the oatmeal cookie I ordered had been sitting there for a few days, quite a hard cookie, and the fruit flies flew off it when I grabbed one. I sometimes think to myself, "You're often too scared, but if my other half had seen this, she would have run out of the shop screaming..." (oops, she'll read this later, of course, that's going to the bank... thanks again!) Furthermore, the "barista" clearly wasn't in the mood, what an energetic person, ahem. But: the coffee was good, I'll make it through the night!

Coge el rollo de trufa de albóndigas. Es genial. El “rollo” es un croissant que hace que sus rollos sean un poco diferentes a un bap o panecillo. Hay 2 sucursales de Stach separadas unas puertas. El que sirve sándwiches está empacado, pero los que están a unas puertas más abajo son más tranquilos y sirven café y productos horneados. Puedes comprar un bocadillo en una tienda y comértelo en la otra. Bonito lugar para el almuerzo en general.

Nice café with kind staff. I tried the cheese croissant and the tomato-avocado sandwich. The sandwich would be perfect with a bit more tomato, as the bread was a little dry and hard. Coffee was good. Worth trying for breakfast or a midday tea. Cheers!

English: I tried the Lebanese sandwich, it was delicious. They baked me new bread, so I waited about a quarter of an hour, but it was worth it. They had a good smoothie, but a bit heavy, with pistachios and ube (purple yam, a type of sweet potato). I had the Libanese Sajeria Special sandwich, and I really enjoyed it. The bread was made fresh, so it was a bit of a wait, but worth it! I also had the ube and pistachio smoothie, which was good, really thick, and filling.

Five stars because it’s one of the best matchas I had in a while. The empanadas are okay, I feel coming from south america they are not the best. But fill an empty stomach. Nice place!

Personally, I had great service and a sandwich. I ordered the spicy bacon avocado in a croissant and it was really great. In addition to food, they also have a large selection of lemonades, juices and even local beers. Prices...in line with Amsterdam.

Their staff hates money. Was waiting in line for a couple who ordered 3-4 minutes before closing. They took a bit to decide on their order and check out. By the time I got up to order it was 8:00 and the lady working pulls up her phone, shows the time and says we're closed and wouldn't serve me. If you're only here for a day, pick somewhere else.

Normally I find this chain of cafe very interesting but this particular location I have never been and my friend asked me to meet there for a coffee and chat. The place offers a mezzanine very narrow and just by the toilet, Marin it not very pleasant for what we wanted. But the staff were super helpful and the food are always good.

Found this place as I was around the area and feeling a bit peckish. Tried: • Cinnamon Cookie €3.50 • Mocha €5.50 (small) with Pea Milk (I was charged €9.10 and forgot to ask about the extra €0.10) The cookie was wonderful, very cinnamony but not too strong and it’s also very soft. The coffee was nice too. Interesting combination with pea milk but it makes you feel fuller (well, at least it was for me). Note: • Card only payments • Vegan friendly cafe • They have small seating upstairs (it’s not exactly on the second floor as it’s like a half floor up) - i forgot to take pictures and i didnt go up either

We arrived at 1 o'clock to get a nice sandwich during the break. The sandwiches haven't been baked yet, which is strange since everyone comes for sandwiches at 1 o'clock. We wait, after 15 minutes they finally come out of the oven. The entire store is now full of waiting people. Immediately from the oven they cut the sandwich and made it quickly while the sandwich was still steaming, we had carpaccio on it which is eaten raw. So all that smoked meat was honestly inedible. Ended up throwing away €15 worth of sandwiches.

We stopped to have a snack, the natural juices are delicious. Especially the beet one. The toasted cheese croissant is a delight and so are the rolls. They bake them fresh every day and without a doubt, I will repeat if I ever return to the city.

Been coming here as a regular customer for 6 years, but now that a new branch manager has been hired, everything has deteriorated. Products have been expired for several days, coffee and sandwiches less good/tasty, service has deteriorated (brutal), super slow (were never fast but now you are quietly waiting 20 minutes for a coffee and a sandwich), the store is dirty and not maintained (cobwebs everywhere), unpacked boxes from several days ago, music that does not belong to the business on loudly. As long as no new staff/branch manager comes in, I won't be going here again (it's a shame I've been coming there for so long). Fortunately, there are plenty of nice other places in the area. Edit: I emailed the email address provided in Stach's response to my review, but never received a response. Stach only posts these responses for damage control and does not do anything with your feedback. I wouldn't have thought that they would do that based on 1 review, but don't say in your answer that you will do it. Edit 2: there has recently been a different manager and everything has been renovated and there are new staff. The difference in quality is significant. That's why I adjusted my stars.

Today I came in to get coffee. The music was very loud and the sales employee was making private calls. He came downstairs and while he was on the phone he went to refill the refrigerators. No hello at all. Extremely unfriendly staff.

Unfriendly staff who pay no attention to customers, often get angry/grumpy looks and poor quality of the products. Nasty atmosphere!

Deze koffie bar verkoopt naast diverse vers gezette koffie ook broodjes en andere dranken, de sevice is goed alleen de prijzen zijn mij iets te duur, maar de koffie is vers gezet en goed te drinken en de broodjes zijn ook vers en goed te eten.

Ik heb hier nu een paar keer koffie gehaald. Of het is te heet of lauw, of mierzoet, het smaakt naar water met suiker en totaal geen koffie smaak. Er is altijd wel wat. En ik ga vaak naar Stach beethovenstraat en daar heb ik nooit vieze koffie. Het personeel bij de nieiwe hoogstraat is, zoals ik hieronder las, inderdaad erg onaardig. Alsof ze daar onder dwang staan te werken. Vandaag kreeg ik de kleinste beker ooit en moest 4,45 betalen. Belachelijk. Dit was wel de laatste keer dat ik op deze vestiging kom.

Small selection of fresh sandwiches, a few which are vegan. I ordered the Mozzarella Di Bufala on a white roll. Large amount of cheese with rocket and a tomato basil spread. Quite good and the cheese is fresh. My partner ordered the Vegan Chicken Avocado, which he said was fine but the Sriracha sauce was too overwhelming, he could not taste the chicken or rocket. Baked goods looked amazing, I did not buy the large brownie that looked so good. Nice quick lunch.

Great lunch cafe, with delicious sandwiches and plenty of incredible vegan options! Vegan cake too! Had a delicious vegan sandwich here, but it was hard to decide between the sandwich choices, let alone the salad bar! 👍

De mensen hier zijn bijna structureel onaardig en ongeïnteresseerd. Als je een keer je dag niet hebt, prima. Maar het lijkt wel alsof er op kilheid geselecteerd wordt in de sollicitatieprocedure.

Really nice cakes and breads if you like plain cakes that don't have too much fondant or cream on it. We usually take them away for the week. Looks homemade. The shop itself also has a magical rustic feel to it. We love visiting there just to walk around and take in the smells and sights. There's also a little seating area where you can sit and enjoy your ware on a rainy day. However, I'd really recommend eating outside by the canals. Ofcourse finding a nice clean spot by the Amsterdam canalas is an art in itself ;-) ...

Stach on Nieuwe Hoogstraat. Onvriendelijk personeel, jonge meiden die weinig weten wat werken met mensen en eten betekend.Kilo rucola in broodje en weinig verse avocado in mijn geval, en alles maar slordig gepropt.Ze kunnen 4 mensen in winkel niet aan.Jammer, misschien toch ervaren manager inschakelen.

Cozy place and friendly service. They even have some gluten-free options! We got two huge and delicious ice coffee to fight the heat, together with pastries: carrot cake and oatmeal cookies are definitely recommended.

This review is concerning Stach on Nieuwe Hoogstraat. A place that started so good ended up so neglected. Is it a management problem? because the girls behind the counter looked more helpless than me today.. The Avocados were rotten, the salad section was completely empty and they don't except cash payments anymore. Am i the only one in the neighborhood who notice their deterioration?

Love it. Great location, easy to get into and out of. Small but efficient.

Good sweets. They have a little seating area but don't let customers use the toilet even if you sit and eat their food. This was a huge inconvenience for me as I was traveling and living out of my backpack for my time in Amsterdam.

Leuke kleine winkel met ontzettend veel keus aan taartjes, baksels en andere lekkernijen. Ook zijn er glutenvrije opties! Wel zelf eten en drinken bestellen en meenemen op een smalle trap naar boven.
