I've been coming here for years, almost daily, and the Coffee Company on Middenweg has really become my go-to place. The team is fantastic, all young, super fun people who are always enthusiastic and up for a friendly chat. The atmosphere is always great. Another thing I really appreciate is that I can bring my dog. He lies comfortably next to me on a blanket on the floor while I enjoy my coffee. Usually, someone from the team comes right over with a bowl of water. SUPER attentive and friendly! In short: delicious coffee, great people, and a super cozy place. Truly one of the best spots in Amsterdam East! ☕🐾

I'm writing this review reluctantly, but I feel it's necessary. I've been a customer here for over seven years, but this was the last time. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cold and unpleasant. Totally out of character for Amsterdam. The baristas are unprofessional, and the coffee tastes different every time. The coffee is made by inexperienced, cheap workers instead of professionals, and you can taste it. After so many years, it's disappointing to see how the quality has declined. My urgent advice to the owner: take this seriously, invest in real baristas and better service, or you'll lose many more loyal customers.

A place where you can get friendly service in a very warm atmosphere and delicious coffee and desserts. We loved the muffin we ate and bought a second one.

The staff is nice and friendly but the quality of the coffee is very low. Rum Baba, a three minutes walk from that place has way better coffees.

Banana bread was perfectly moist and had good flavor, and the lemon poppyseed loaf was divine! As someone who doesn’t usually enjoy lemon desserts, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this. The icing was perfect. Well-spiced dirty chai. Will be back!

every visit the same story - different barista and they don't froth the milk very well. what changes the taste of coffee (cortado). tried coffee and left full cup of coffee on the table. now this place in the list never visit again, no more attempts

A café where people come to work. You order at the counter, the coffee is ok, the pastries weren't fresh, the employee behind the counter was semi-friendly. The place itself is not particularly cozy, there are better options to take a break...

Okay place for coffee and to work. Front door kept open during winter, which makes it too cold. Was working inside with my winter jacket on which makes no sense for a cafe

Service and place is nice but the cheesecake was not fresh, dry and probably several days staying in the fridge... Coffee was so so too.

Altijd een gezellige plek om te zitten, alleen wat ik niet goed begrijp is dat er geen goede kwaliteit cappuccino’s worden gemaakt. Ik heb geen enkele keer een cappuccino gehad wat gemaakt was met latte art. Dat zou je op z’n minst verwachten als een café voornamelijk koffie verkoopt! Anders is het de €3,4 niet waard…

Cozy coffee shop. Staff was friendly and they have many options for snacks/drinks. Caffeine heaven. The small cappuccino is very small so be aware of that. The lemon pound cake was delicious though. There is some seating indoors and some space outside as well.

Heel begrijpelijk dat door corona toiletbezoek niet is toegestaan. Daar hoeft de klantvriendelijkheid toch niet onder te leiden? Chai latte is lekker, niet te zoet, wel te duur.

Met warme weer langs voor een frozen cappochino. Koffiesmaak was volledig afwezig. Veel te veel verdund met melk. En om deze milkshake te maken hadden ze 20 minuten nodig.
