As a man you can't even do a nmr.2. most people who come are also creeps. I don't go there anymore. Toilet rules are ridiculous and drinks are all from hard plastic cups, that for the money... there are better places to find in the area.

Had to buy a drink to be able to go to the toilet?? So you can't withdraw loose euros. When you arrive at the toilet attendant... I want to pee with the door closed. She says I'm not allowed in there. I ask politely... and what if I have to do something else? I immediately get a big mouth and she says no discussion then you go do that somewhere else. Hahahah what a scream. Ridiculous! Then we can't go back in because of the smoking because the security guard says that no one is allowed in after 03:00. He should have said that but he didn't. At 05:00 we could come back for our coats. We arrive there at 05:00. The lady toilet attendant comes with her big mouth. Of course I said what I thought of the toilet action. I got a big mouth again and she wanted to hit me. Ohohoh what hospitality! I would think twice if you want to go to the city cafe clown in Zaandam ;)

The guy outside with white beard want me to pay 20 euros to go inside he took 20 euros from me and when I ask him for the ticket he don’t give me any ticket and after that he told me that you are not allowed to go inside because you are not Dutch and he even don’t give my money return

I'd only had one drink, but was denied entry by the security guards at the front door, while my white friend was allowed in. I was also dressed in formal clothes; the only problem was that I smelled of "cannabis." Very strange, but I have no desire to try it there.

Still THE best place to go out!!! Loyal to "the Clown" for years. Had a great night with lots of dancing and drinks!

I wasn't allowed in because I was wearing cargo pants (not proper enough), all my friends were inside except me. I'll never go there again.

The bald man with a white beard at the entrance didn't let us in with no reason because we weren't Dutch very crazy. So we went back again later, and we were turned down again by the same guy because we didn't speak Dutch. when we asked for the reason, and were being kind to go inside he starts insulting us as foriegn people. the owner must do something about this. its very shame.

The bald guy from the entrance didn't let us in because we were not dutch :) People said that it was not posible, there had to be another reason So we went again 2 weeks later, not drunk, not loud. 2 girls + guys, and we were refused again by the same guy for not speaking dutch. 😂

Unfortunately, I and my refugee friend from Ukraine were refused entry because we do not speak Dutch. Racism!!?

Nice tent if you want to go out, but the biggest irritation is that when you want to go to the toilet or hang up your coat, this all has to be done through the same passage. So you all have to wait a long time either for the toilet or for your coat... not practical at all.

Nice music, nice people and nice staff. What more could you want?

For years one of the places in Zaandam where you go for a fun night out...Good old times.

Clowns are fun, this club is too. Meh?

Staff are great, definitely deserves a better audience than a bunch of drunk people on a Friday night. :)
