Starbucks in De Weteringschans

It was ok. They asked me if I wanted coffee in my coffee which I thought it was a funny question. I order a caramel Frappuccino and they gave me a carton cup made for hot drinks. The order took forever.

Everything was fine. I was able to work in peace.

Lady was nice and asked me if I like home alone due to my name

No Kindle service at all Sandwich heated in microwave resulting plastic! Do not go! Never happened in any otero starbucks around the globe!

Had a coffee in. Requested a mug , but refused used them and had to use the plastic cub ( so called paper). Totally unacceptable.

The cashier and barista were very helpful. They speak English and Spanish, so communication is easy. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was calm. Perfect.

Really rude Cassiers. Especially today, normally they seem nice. The girl ignored me at the front while another cashier was helping people, she let me wait without saying anything and helped her colleague with the order, while not looking me into the eye. Then she didn’t say anything and I asked; can I order? She said, excuses me? With a really bad and arrogant energy. Passive aggressive. I walked away and decided to leave, I didn’t need coffee made in this kind of energy. Heavy how rude people can be….

We are vegan so took a hot chocolate with oat milk and a vanilla milkshake with pat milk too and both were really yummy! The staff was very careful regarding our dairy restriction and vegan options! It wasn't too crowded and everything went well

I visited Starbucks on Leidsestraat with my family on October 17, 2025. My baby accidentally dropped a cup, which I immediately paid for. The problem wasn't the money, but the rude and disrespectful behavior of the employee. We felt very uncomfortable and humiliated in a crowded store. Very disappointing.

Only take away recommended and you will need some patience…

I know we have just had a quicky in Hard Rock, but my heart said, ' I have to stop'. Love the shop. I did ask for latcose milk, girlfriend had am emergency stop as they used cows milk. Not nice. Very naughty.

Extremely rude barista. Speaking poorly about customers behind their backs. They think because they spoke in Spanish nobody would understand but that wasn’t the case. Avoid this store at all costs.

A bit of a watered-down version of what Starbucks used to be. A bit shabby, rickety, worn-out furniture, and dirty. No Dutch-speaking staff, and a bit of a mess when preparing and picking up orders; someone else brought their order...

The lady couldn't say the name correctly but had an attitude as if she was and that I was the one not understanding and wasting her time.

Maybe i came in wrong time, although it wasn't that busy, person who took my order was nice, unfortunately new person, probably on training day, prepared my order, took 10min at least, but my drink did not meet the regular expectations. Also, i ordered a pastry that was very old and dry. In a local i could see 4 to 5 people working and 2 probably managers walking in lobby and discussing something. That is a lot of people who can make someone's order efficient and prepare good quality drinks...

A place where you can drink Starbucks' signature coffee. I was able to enjoy the Americano I expected. It wasn't anything special, but I was able to sit comfortably and charge my phone.

Not my favorite Starbucks. Usually pretty consistent around the world but this location couldn't print a receipt, the manager didn't care (was just playing on his cell phone) and worst of all, no toilets.

I should have read the reviews before stepping in. The staff — both male and female — were extremely rude: no smile, no thank you, just side-eyes and grumpy attitudes. There was a dark-skinned girl (I didn’t catch her name — no offense intended) who looked at her phone while talking to a customer. When asked to repeat herself, she didn’t bother — she clearly wasn’t in the mood to talk, so she whispered. The store was crowded, and I couldn’t catch what she said. Then there was a guy — when I asked which sizes were available for a decaf cappuccino, he didn’t even answer properly. Instead, he jerked his chin toward the sample cups. What kind of attitude is that? I haven’t met anyone this classless during my entire trip to Amsterdam. I'm going to email Starbucks about this — this happened yesterday around 6 PM. Also, I ordered a pistachio square, but he gave me a pistachio flat. No apology. I said, “Sorry, I didn’t know there were two types of pistachio items,” but honestly, it was his job to clarify the order. The pistachio thing tasted awful. The coffee was okay.

The worst service service. The cashier damaged my box on the mug because he would not stop talking to his coworkers and refused to let me switch it out. He stuffed the lid to close my box as he was gabbing away not paying any attention to what he was doing.

2025/5　Everything is a lively place. It's not very large. A basic set including a drink and a croissant costs 3.90 euros, which is about the same as in Japan, so it must be cheap here.

Paid more than 12€ for 3 basic cofee and the toilet wasn't available, rip off

Music is way too loud. I couldnt even hear myself think so i have no idea how cool lime tasted so yeah

I wanted to hand in a stamp card, but it just wasn't allowed because they thought it was strange that I had 3, I think??? “we cant accept this” “this stamp card is only for the stations” while it is still valid??

Wonderful Starbucks just a short 6 min walk from the apartment we were staying at. The staff were extremely friendly, it was never crowded and the drinks were perfectly made. The lids are different from what we have in the states which we have found common in different countries. They do tend to disintegrate and fall apart quite quickly. However, that is just them helping to save our planet. I had a hot white mocha and we also purchased a blueberry and red velvet muffins and they were delicious! They have a huge variety of pastries and desserts to choose from, a lot more than we have in the states.

The review should have been really glowing because the coffee is very tasty, and the pistachio pyramid is great. The place also looks clean and nice.... But the "service": 2 sour girls who clearly don't want to be there, constantly scolding and not nice. It's a shame that because of the service I won't come here again. I dared to ask for extra milk and was met with an unpleasant response.

Great Starbucks! Nicely renovated and clean. The hot chocolate was delicious as always and the lemon cake was extremely fresh and delicious.

Unbelievable, this is the first Starbucks in the world that I heard I needed to order something before sitting in. The barista had the audacity to come over my table just few minutes after I sit and told me only after ordering I can take a seat and work with my pc. I laughed at him and asked him since when that was the case and the reply was hilarious, since now.

When I placed my order I asked for my drinks to go. There must have been some miscommunication because the barista started making our drinks in a ceramic mug. I politely asked if I could get my drinks to go and the barista was clearly frustrated and told me that I should have asked for that when I ordered them (which I did). Overall just not the way to handle such a simple misunderstanding.

The best frappuccino I have tried in Europe. Made by Jackeline, a luxury that speaks Spanish. To enter every time they pass by! I loved it!

I visited this Starbucks today and had a very unpleasant experience with the staff. After waiting for my order for about 10 minutes, even though the store wasn’t busy, I politely asked how much longer it would take. When I asked if my order could be prepared a bit faster, I was met with rude responses from two employees. They responded with full-on attitude, almost as if they were trying to bully me, telling me to go elsewhere and not to come back to the store. This was shocking because I was calm and respectful throughout the interaction. It’s disappointing that a well-known brand like Starbucks would allow this type of behavior from its employees, who should be providing customer service, not acting like bullies. After this experience, and hearing similar stories from friends, I won’t be returning to this location, and I’ll reconsider visiting Starbucks in the future.

No toilet? Is this supposed to be a mean joke? Amsterdam already has a huge problem with public restrooms, now you can't even find one in a cafe you've sat down in, where you will be consuming your diuretic beverage? This obvious lack of customer care really sucks.

I asked if there was a toilet besides the price of a sandwich and they were truly rude to me. Especially, there was a spanish-speaking lady that when she heard me speaking in spanish with my friend she said “didnt you her me propely, no bathroom you stupid” truly rude, when I was just trying to be nice to them for working overnight. I don’t think I deserved it.

The staff was great, my mocha was well-made and I liked the desert as well. There could be a little more room tho.

I've been ordering coffee all week at the different Starbucks in the city. By far this is the worst, the frappuccino tasted only like ice and the person who serves you (Janne) was super unpleasant.

This was by far the worse Starbucks I have ever visited (and I’ve been in many in different countries) .. service was extremely bad and the person where I ordered was really rude. When I received my order via another person i told there has been a mistake. Even if it was due a miscommunication (I thought I was very clear) but even then, you are not going walk to a client give her a bad attitude and say it is her fault etc. It was that I had paid for the order already otherwise I would have walked away…
