So I wouldn't ever really post a review, let alone a 5 star one for somewhere like Starbucks. But I have to comment that the staffmember there, called Olga, absolutely makes my day any time I go in. She is full of energy, super fast and reliable, and always has such a friendly aura. That girl needs more credit because she's awesome.

Worst starbucks in town. It is at a train station. Stop by every morning for a quick coffee fix. They never have filter coffee and can never serve an americano under 10 minutes. Twice had to leave the cup i paid for due late delivery. Bad service.

The worst Starbucks I've ever been to in the world in terms of service; the employees are very unprepared and completely rude. I do not recommend it.

I ordered an Americano for 4EUR as they did not have drip coffee at this location. There was only the vaguest hint of coffee flavor. It tasted like the coffee had been run through the coffee grinds twice, though I am sure they would not do that—it was diluted and anemic. I rarely go to Starbucks anymore, but was desperate for a coffee as coffee shops in Amsterdam close after 6pm. Next time I will just go without coffee if an Americano at Starbucks is my only option. I have noted that Starbucks is soon laying off 900 staff and closing more locations. The business appears to be in retreat and my experience perhaps partly underscores why this is happening. I should note that the staff were friendly.

Very bad customer service. They messed up my order, and when I asked them to double-check, they didn’t even apologize. Instead, they argued with me and had a very rude attitude. Extremely unprofessional. Never come back.

The service was friendly, and the girl tried to give me what I expected, since people order things differently in Mexico than in Europe. They are attentive and speak English.

The place is very beautiful, clean, the drinks and food are very tasty and prepared professionally. The staff are all patient and friendly, especially Olga, who is a very beautiful woman with a beautiful smile, a professional in making all kinds of cold and hot coffees. I recently visited Starbucks at Amsterdam Central Station and decided to try their cheesecake. Unfortunately, it was one of the most tasteless cheesecakes I’ve ever had – bland, dry, and completely lacking in flavor. Not what I’d expect from a brand like Starbucks. Super disappointed.

I ordered just now and the coffee maker woman is very confident and it’s good but she kinda slow. I waited my order for like 15 minutes. And my train time is about to leave. So I left my order today. It’s very sucks cause, I’m very thirsty. So I just bought bottled water instead.

The girl who took my order was very sweet and cheerful. I really liked her energy. From what I read on her name tag, I think her name was Katinka. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic. You can enjoy your coffee with a view of the sea.

Starbucks is in a good spot outrise of the gates to central station, very spacious and well built.

Possibly the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I’ve come six days in a row, and every single time the staff has had a bad attitude—I initially thought it was just because I was coming in the afternoon, but today I showed up right when they opened and they still treated me poorly. The attitude alone is bad enough, but the coffee is terrible too.

The coffee is undrinkable and expensive.

On Thursday 10th, at around 9:30 AM, My husband was subjected to racial discrimination by a male employee. He clearly said his name was 'KIM' and even spelled it out, but he deliberately wrote 'Chin' on his coffee cup. This is blatant racism. It is unacceptable that such discriminatory behavior still occurs. That employee is damaging the image of Starbucks, and I intend to report this incident to the headquarters. Racism must not be tolerated.

My husband had a terrible experience here. He has just ordered the coffee. And said his name is 'Kim'. But the staff (he is a man working about 9:05) wrote the letter 'Chin' meaning Chiness. Probably the Starbucks with the nicest views. Located inside the Centraal Station facing the water front, there is plenty of seating for those looking to get a drink and wait for their train or bus. Staff speaks both Dutch and English. Unfortunately you can't use the US Starbucks app here (shouldn't the app be universal? I wish!) Not being able to use the app is annoying as Starbucks doesn't put their full menu on the menu board so you're not sure what you can order. For example, there is no iced coffee, only iced Americanos and iced lattes. Their refrigerated case was out of of stuff all 3 times I went here. As far as food, they have some unique to Netherlands items such as cheesecake (oddly, the slice with strawberry topping is slightly cheaper than the plain one.) It does get extremely busy due to the location but overall they move fairly quickly. Staff was perfect and the only drawbacks are due to Starbucks corporate decisions that make it difficult to order without the app. Also, because it's the Netherlands, there is no plastic and the paper cups aren't waxed - you need to drink your drink quickly because the cup itself starts to feel like it's getting waterlogged and soggy. I ordered ice coffee but it was the most horrible taste that I’ve ever had

i dont want to give any stars to this place, I ordered a coffee frappuccino and what you get is toilet water, sprinkled with whipped cream of which the microplastics went straight to my brain. My girlfriend wanted to charge her phone on one of the power outlets but they dont work, they were fake outlets, just like their coffee. The employees ofcourse; have very big smiles on their faces in the hope you dont notice that this place is just a charity branded as Starbucks. So if you like charities walk in and give them your €7,00 +-. God would be very pleased with such a good deed.

The hot drink came in a paper cup, even though I wanted to drink it inside – not environmentally friendly. The tables were all dirty. What was even more unpleasant, however, was the way the employee presumably in charge "handled me." Things got really bad when she threatened three young men with the police, repeatedly shouting across the restaurant in response. The young men had sat down at a table without drinks with two young women who had bought them. The group behaved quietly and peacefully, but the employee's behavior seemed completely excessive and unpleasant for all the other customers. Nothing like other Starbucks!

First Starbucks I visited offering NO wi-fi 😖

No wifi, no working toilets, no power outlets, very dirty

They had the tiramisu frappucino edition and crème brulee. You could tell that the employees were new or had no idea how to handle the crowds. While waiting in line you could see the person behind the counter, mashing kitchen utensils in the trash and calmly picking up sandwiches and serving them. With our drinks we had ordered the largest size but consisted of 90 percent ice. It was gone within 5 sips. And the taste was so questionable that I had to throw the tiramisu away because it honestly tasted like Cheetos with a strong taste of vomit. And the crème brulee was also very questionable. I have had better experiences at Sloterdijk so it is very disappointing that this location leaves such an experience. This is the last time. I am surprised that it still got a 3.8.

Cannot believe how bad the milk frothing is here. He frothed it for like 5 seconds and dumped it in, resulting in this foamy mess of a cappuccino. And I paid like €5 for it 😬

I visited the Starbucks at Amsterdam Centraal on Wednesday evening for a tea and a brownie. Unfortunately, when I took a bite of the brownie, I realized it was stale. I approached one of the baristas, who promptly replaced it without any hesitation. I also noticed them refreshing the display with a new batch of brownies. I wanted to commend them for their commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you, ladies, for your excellent service!

This Starbucks allows you to sit and charge devices which was a lifesaver for me as it was my first time in Europe and I was using my phone to navigate and after a few hours it was getting low on battery and I couldn't find anywhere else I could charge a phone. I had to ask for help in several locations outside Amsterdam Centraal before I was directed to the train station and an employee here was incredibly helpful and directed me to this Starbucks, which helped me navigate my way to Berlin and let me use my digital tickets, since I would have been lost without it. The food is alright. I had a muffin and a smoothie while I waited for my phone to charge before catching my train, both of which were alright.

The plugs are turned off, you can't charge your phone. The waiters are unfriendly. The coffee is good.

Service staff very friendly and service was fast. They made 3 drinks and heated up food all in 5 or 6 mins, although they called us 4 times to collect as the food and drinks were not ready at the same time. My daughter got up 4 times in 4 mins to collect it all! (which I found amusing). :0) This is a process or training issue they could correct easily and it would improve service. Great view cross the river. Coffee was average and over priced (compared to home in Australia) but we were expecting that. Not the cleanest, as the floors are dirty and its only 8.30am as I type this, however it's comfortable and warm, with a nice atmosphere.

I got a coffee for my train journey

Disappointed. I ordered two drinks. After 10 minutes, only one drink was made. Even though, there were only two customers in front of us. I couldn't get my second drink because I had a train to catch. I can understand that it can take time, but when there are 4 employees, two at the cash register, one person made the drinks and another clearing away. Maybe the organization should be reviewed and improved, mainly when the employees are having fun, spending time with colleagues off duty and we are in the international station, so customers are in hurry. The other drinks for the customers behind were made. So, I asked but still not my turn, I paid €5 for a drink for nothing. Really bad. The manager has to change things.

Since my friend was at the sink and then talking on the phone, I sat and waited before ordering. I was rudely warned.

Quiet early on but as the day goes on it becomes popular and quite busy. Maybe it's just me but I think coffee tastes a little different from the stores in North America. The service quality is high, just as you would expect and the prices are stupidly high, just as you would expect too.

Starbucks - Amsterdam Cs Ijhal Limited Edition Lattes Unavailable The three specialty lattes were out of stock. Peak hour hits around 8 AM when transferring passengers overlap with the morning work crowd. The barista was friendly, but customers had to listen carefully as she called out names over the noisy background. A full-length window panel overlooks the river—why not enjoy a coffee while watching the soft transition of sunlight from dawn to morning as you wait for your train?

Good customer service, very friendly. Pistachio Latte was not great at all, too sweat, half cold. Most disappointing was however the store situation overall. I took a seat in a quiet corner and everything was dirty - the table, the bench and chairs to sit on, the floor. This was 8:00 in the morning and the dirt was not from previous customers meaning there is no proper cleaning procedure in place. Will not go again.

Although it was a simple word, you responded kindly. Some customers leave without cleaning up, and sometimes the tables are dirty, but the staff keep them clean, so the inside is also clean.

Becarful, after a couple of minutes you get asked by authorities if you ordered something. They insit in proofing it, by showing the bill or transaction confirmation.

Don't go here if you have 20 minutes before your bus leaves, as it takes them more than 20 minutes to pour a cold brew from a jug in the fridge.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte was superb as usual. Service was good. However, the door was open during our stay and the cold October winds came in.

The branch is spacious and has a view of the waterways inside the central station for the metro and buses. The service and cleanliness are considered good for the volume of visitors to the branch.
