So freakin slow. Ridiculous. And the attitude of personnel. Omg. Never experienced this at a starbucks.

All the workers seem stressed and annoyed by one question: the app. Better not even mention it because the service will be worse. Almost ruined my environment & drink experience. Do not recommend this store

i dont want to give any stars to this place, I ordered a coffee frappuccino and what you get is toilet water, sprinkled with whipped cream of which the microplastics went straight to my brain. My girlfriend wanted to charge her phone on one of the power outlets but they dont work, they were fake outlets, just like their coffee. The employees ofcourse; have very big smiles on their faces in the hope you dont notice that this place is just a charity branded as Starbucks. So if you like charities walk in and give them your €7,00 +-. God would be very pleased with such a good deed.

The hot drink came in a paper cup, even though I wanted to drink it inside – not environmentally friendly. The tables were all dirty. What was even more unpleasant, however, was the way the employee presumably in charge "handled me." Things got really bad when she threatened three young men with the police, repeatedly shouting across the restaurant in response. The young men had sat down at a table without drinks with two young women who had bought them. The group behaved quietly and peacefully, but the employee's behavior seemed completely excessive and unpleasant for all the other customers. Nothing like other Starbucks!

No wifi, no working toilets, no power outlets, very dirty

They had the tiramisu frappucino edition and crème brulee. You could tell that the employees were new or had no idea how to handle the crowds. While waiting in line you could see the person behind the counter, mashing kitchen utensils in the trash and calmly picking up sandwiches and serving them. With our drinks we had ordered the largest size but consisted of 90 percent ice. It was gone within 5 sips. And the taste was so questionable that I had to throw the tiramisu away because it honestly tasted like Cheetos with a strong taste of vomit. And the crème brulee was also very questionable. I have had better experiences at Sloterdijk so it is very disappointing that this location leaves such an experience. This is the last time. I am surprised that it still got a 3.8.

Cannot believe how bad the milk frothing is here. He frothed it for like 5 seconds and dumped it in, resulting in this foamy mess of a cappuccino. And I paid like €5 for it 😬

I visited the Starbucks at Amsterdam Centraal on Wednesday evening for a tea and a brownie. Unfortunately, when I took a bite of the brownie, I realized it was stale. I approached one of the baristas, who promptly replaced it without any hesitation. I also noticed them refreshing the display with a new batch of brownies. I wanted to commend them for their commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you, ladies, for your excellent service!

Very annoying because the sockets didn't work and we actually had to sit down to charge our cell phones! Otherwise enjoyed fresh milk (latte) and good Pistachio Square.

This Starbucks allows you to sit and charge devices which was a lifesaver for me as it was my first time in Europe and I was using my phone to navigate and after a few hours it was getting low on battery and I couldn't find anywhere else I could charge a phone. I had to ask for help in several locations outside Amsterdam Centraal before I was directed to the train station and an employee here was incredibly helpful and directed me to this Starbucks, which helped me navigate my way to Berlin and let me use my digital tickets, since I would have been lost without it. The food is alright. I had a muffin and a smoothie while I waited for my phone to charge before catching my train, both of which were alright.

The plugs are turned off, you can't charge your phone. The waiters are unfriendly. The coffee is good.

The standards are really the same all over the world. I drank a big cup of hot latte today and enjoyed the comfortable environment!

Service staff very friendly and service was fast. They made 3 drinks and heated up food all in 5 or 6 mins, although they called us 4 times to collect as the food and drinks were not ready at the same time. My daughter got up 4 times in 4 mins to collect it all! (which I found amusing). :0) This is a process or training issue they could correct easily and it would improve service. Great view cross the river. Coffee was average and over priced (compared to home in Australia) but we were expecting that. Not the cleanest, as the floors are dirty and its only 8.30am as I type this, however it's comfortable and warm, with a nice atmosphere.

Right on the river side with excellent views. staff are polite and friendly and despite being a busy venue with a constant stream or customers it's clean, tidy and welcoming

She relented and refused to put the light on for people to charge their phone because of her own personal reasons.

I got a coffee for my train journey

Disappointed. I ordered two drinks. After 10 minutes, only one drink was made. Even though, there were only two customers in front of us. I couldn't get my second drink because I had a train to catch. I can understand that it can take time, but when there are 4 employees, two at the cash register, one person made the drinks and another clearing away. Maybe the organization should be reviewed and improved, mainly when the employees are having fun, spending time with colleagues off duty and we are in the international station, so customers are in hurry. The other drinks for the customers behind were made. So, I asked but still not my turn, I paid €5 for a drink for nothing. Really bad. The manager has to change things.

Since my friend was at the sink and then talking on the phone, I sat and waited before ordering. I was rudely warned.

Peak hour hits around 8 AM when transferring passengers overlap with the morning work crowd. The barista was friendly, but customers had to listen carefully as she called out names over the noisy background. A full-length window panel overlooks the river—why not enjoy a coffee while watching the soft transition of sunlight from dawn to morning as you wait for your train?

Quiet early on but as the day goes on it becomes popular and quite busy. Maybe it's just me but I think coffee tastes a little different from the stores in North America. The service quality is high, just as you would expect and the prices are stupidly high, just as you would expect too.

Gross, paid 5€ for a over-extracted coffee. The milk also burned. Never again. Thanks Starbucks! Money grabbers

Good customer service, very friendly. Pistachio Latte was not great at all, too sweat, half cold. Most disappointing was however the store situation overall. I took a seat in a quiet corner and everything was dirty - the table, the bench and chairs to sit on, the floor. This was 8:00 in the morning and the dirt was not from previous customers meaning there is no proper cleaning procedure in place. Will not go again.

Although it was a simple word, you responded kindly. Some customers leave without cleaning up, and sometimes the tables are dirty, but the staff keep them clean, so the inside is also clean.

Becarful, after a couple of minutes you get asked by authorities if you ordered something. They insit in proofing it, by showing the bill or transaction confirmation.

Don't go here if you have 20 minutes before your bus leaves, as it takes them more than 20 minutes to pour a cold brew from a jug in the fridge.

Large and spacious Starbucks chain. Plenty of seating and the menu is the same as the others. Staff are very friendly. You can have your coffee inside or sit at the back near the water.

Lovely friendly staff, got ourselves two cappuccinos. The service was very quick and staff were very friendly. The staff were attentive with allergens which I do understand Starbucks do a lot with staff training. Both were large and both were very nice. The service was very quick. The Pumpkin Spice Latte was superb as usual. Service was good. However, the door was open during our stay and the cold October winds came in.

The branch is spacious and has a view of the waterways inside the central station for the metro and buses. The service and cleanliness are considered good for the volume of visitors to the branch.

This "Starbucks" in Central Station has very nice waiters and attentive service to customers. I like it very much... When you come to Amsterdam, why not come and have a cup of coffee to relax your mind and relax~~

Staff can be quite slow with preparing the drinks. Today, waited outside until 7:00 AM to order a drink. I was told that they decided to open maybe at 7:10. If you can’t honor the opening hours, don’t put it on the door.

Worst Starbucks I've been to, the lobby always looks messy, but that's not the big problem. The problem is the unwilling staff. Situation: I come, ask for a venti cold brew latte with full fat milk and a bit less milk and a bit more cold brew. The cashier tells me she can't sell me that (I guess she can't charge me for extra cold brew in the system) and tells me she can sell me cold brew (the difference is - cold brew has more cold brew + has water, cold brew latte has no water, has milk and less cold brew). I tell her I don't want water in there, I want cold brew latte, just a bit stronger. She somehow puts it on the cup and in the kassa, I hand her my full loyalty card. I get asked to pay 1 cent for the cup..? I mean I don't care about 1 cent, but it's wierd, + noone ever made me pay one cent 🤦🏾‍♂️ Anyway, I continue to the handoff, the girl on bar starts making my drink, measures the cold brew (I was very happy with the amount) and starts putting in water. I stop her immediately (I saw my cup was next in line) and tell her it's without water. The barista proceeds to throw away the cold brew with a dash of water (which I would've been ok with) before I get to tell her she doesn't have to throw it out. Then she makes the drink again, but forgets it's with full fat milk (instead of semi skimmed). At that point, I didn't know if I should feel sorry for her or myself, I accepted that I won't get the drink I wanted, I took what was given and left. Never through my visit did I hear the words hello, sorry, thank you, goodbye... I have similar experiences with some of my other visits, with people not smiling, not being friendly and not getting the drink I ordered.

Waited half an hour for my order

The barista was terribly slow. My order was done after 25 minutes! After 20 minutes of waiting, I said to him to speed up because I saw that he's not even trying to make the orders fast, the guy just laughed at me and still didn't speed up even for a bit. (Let's imagine the situation, the barista has around 15 cups ordered, and his speed is like if he had 3 to do, and after telling him so, he's laughing... how nice). Dear Starbucks, check if there is enough stuff for the evening, because waiting half an hour for a drink is way too much. Especially if you're located at the station! And, please, check hospitality A LOT. I don't want to be treated like that during the talk with the barista. My experience today was awful :(

We are deeply disappointed that staff aren’t really that helpful completely lost items and they just really dont care and cooperate nicely… also I believe that as a staff its not that you are incapable of costumers stuff but we mean just maybe a bit of attention if you saw someone taking other stuff.. hope this can improve in the future

Super slow, I missed my train as it took 10 mins to make an ice late. I had to wait 35 minutes for next train. Also, why do you put all different drinks on ads if you don’t have them. We don’t have this and that and this.

Apparently, as a Dutch person you have to learn to live with being forced to speak a foreign language in the catering industry because the staff find it too much effort to learn a few simple sentences of Dutch. However, it becomes annoying when the person behind the cash register does not understand an average Dutch name, does not listen when I spell it and I then have to make an effort to hear my order. Completely disrespectful.

Good and quite extensive choice of cold and hot drinks. The Frappucino here is very good and my fav. I think it's quite expensive, but it's definitely worth it. Beautiful but busy location, keep that in mind. very famous place at the station and has a cozy atmosphere and cool design.

A pretty standard Starbucks. Conveniently situated at the back of the main station.

The highlight for me is the view of the water or river across the entire glass wall. Coffee also tasted very good. Convenient location in the main train station.

They keep street door open for ventilation, so you inhale the cigarette smoke and drink coffee.

The lady behind the counter called me and my girlfriend for an order, then proceeded to ignore us for a longer period of time, doing anything but taking our order. Kind of a bummer :( At least the view is nice

While standing in a queue a main cashier walks away from register for a Little bit to give a cup, a woman walks to the cashier, asks for the next customer - we walk towards. She asks what for us, we start ordering (2 coffee, 3 breakfast items), she doesnt type a single thing to the computer, then looks above us, turns around to her colleagues, says something about giving someone else wrong order, starts preparing different orders, meanwhile three customers get their orders to the cashier next to us. After asking three Times a woman comes back to the register and says "sorry i forgot about you" only then she starts to actually take our order.

Svært dårlig service. Her sitter 15 20 famelys waiting for them to turn on power in every sockets for power at every table. Lasy young unexperianced Staff to lasy to turn it in. Last time i was here. 20 30 famelys sitting eat and charge for traveling. Now to lasy to get to turn over a buttum so all can get to charge phones as all this are made for. Dont think them want coustumers !!!! We was 7 tables that did move after 30 40 min WAITING cos them says yes but so lasy never gets on cos to lasy. There isn’t much difference between this Starbucks and a standard one; the products are more or less the same. However, this location is more spacious and airy compared to most other Starbucks, and it offers a sea view. The furniture is standard. As I mentioned, the view is nice. In fact, the location of the Amsterdam Central Train Station is excellent. We didn’t eat or drink anything. To be honest, none of the products appeal to me. Sometimes I buy their coffee beans, and that’s all.

Seems like my drink was stolen by another customer (who was dirty & homeless?) and the staff weren’t interested in helping. Would not visit here again. Floor was covered in spilt coffee. Typical for a non-real Starbucks as this one is actually run by SSP.

This outlet at Amsterdam Central does NOT accept Starbucks cards from North America. Also, no customer restroom... Service was definitely on the snippy side.

Please be aware of this Starbucks store at the Amsterdam Centraal Train Station! My backpack was stolen from this store in the one minute I got up to get the food and drinks, the store has cameras but will not look at them without the police and they also don’t call the police to investigate, so it will keep happening! The store needs to be more vigilant especially being within the train station and they need to take steps to reduce crime within their store!

The only concern with this starbucks outlet is that it doesn't take app scans for points. Would have loved that
