L' Amour Ice & Bagels in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

We went to the bakery and bought one box of space chocolate cookies. The woman (boss) charged us for 25€ for the box. Later we saw that the same boxes were sold for 10€ each and 25€ for three. We went back to the shop the day after to complain and ask the money back. But the boss who sold us the box wasn't here and they refused to refund us or compense the extra charge by any means. Really not to recomand!

Worst waffle ever. 12 euros each. Total RIP OFF for something dry, pre made and heated up in a microwave. And I like waffles. A place to avoid.

Qué lugar tan bonito. Llamé a la gente a un tour en bicicleta por la calle y tomé café y bagels. Eran tan deliciosos y el servicio era genial. Quedamos sorprendentemente impresionados.

The place looks nice until you go in. I don't recommend it! The price of 2 coffees, 1 waffle that was already ready and was heated in the microwave and 1 piece of cheesecake is 35 euros and it's absurd. I don't recommend it. But if you go there, ask the price before eating.

My husband and I have come here a few times during our stay, their salmon bagel is delicious and their sweets are amazing. Their prices are alittle high but worth it in my opinion.

My girlfriend and I were ripped off. They charged us €110 for three packages of cookies and two brownies, which we paid. Afterward, we discussed it with the employees and were told they could give us our money back. When we wanted to call the police, we got our money back.

We paid a whopping €15 for a piece of cake and a muffin. ☹️ When I placed the order I thought it was a piece of chocolate cake, but it turned out it was mostly sugar. I like sweets, but this was simply inedible. 😖 For the price I would have expected much better quality.

Nice place, staff were very friendly. Ran out of bagels by 1430 but they were very accommodating. The waffles and cakes were great.

If you care about the city, please don't go here. Tourist trap - I think they added a different cafe on google maps next to the old one to get rid of the old reviews. The old one's almost exclusively got 1-star reviews. These kinds of cafes (that have waffles, nutella, oreos in the windows) are infamous to locals because they are expensive tourist traps that kick out all proper local places. There's a thousand nice places around here - go to anything else, please!

Arnaque ! Café et chocolat chaud affichés à un prix "correct" 4,5 € le grand café, ça va encore pour une ville touristique mais alors pas un seul prix sur les vienoisseries. On vous demande de payer en liquide et pas possible d'avoir de reçu. 20,50 euros pour un café, un chocolat chaud, un muffin et un cookie industriels c'est du vol. Après avoir demandé les prix à la serveuse 7,50 euros le muffin et 6,50 euro le cookies pour un snack à la déco très moyenne et sans toilette c'est du vol.

Reliably good coffee, great selection of bagels and panini sandwiches as well as healthy smoothies; also a wide variety of sweets and gelato. Fresh orange juice also available and fast wifi. Grateful

Heel slecht, ik heb één punt cheesecake en één eclair gekocht en die waren niet vers en ik heb €11,50 voor ze betaald, zo duur. Ik raad ze zeker NIET aan en de medewerker was helemaal niet vriendelijk...

Nice place for a breakfast but only if you like loud music :-) Big variety of bagels and other pastery.
