Having visited seven years ago and returned a few days ago, BlueBird remains true to itself. The prices haven't changed, the quality is still the same, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend their space cakes and Pure pre-rolls!

For first-timers, get 5 euros and be sure to have something to drink: coffee, tea, or soda. Sit close to the window, because if a couple of smokers are sitting next to you, you'll be hard-pressed to breathe. It's delicious if you get it diluted with tobacco; it smells delicious and doesn't taste so bad. Peace to all!

Great experience, they're friendly, have a good atmosphere, and are super polite! Menus are easy to understand and view, great milkshakes, and open until 1 a.m.! They also have plenty of "volcanoes" available for smoking without any tobacco (a must-do).

It's worth going, a 10 for service, quality, and a 100 for the Canarian girl at the bar. She advised us on the muffin and made us feel super safe. She's a genius. Her coffees are amazing! We'll be back.

Be very careful. The other day we almost died after smoking a single cigarette from this place. I don't know how much, but it wasn't normal. It would be very important for the staff to advise you, especially if it's your first time smoking, like ours.

Sorry, but pre-packaged packs are a no-go! You have to buy on trust... Custom quantities aren't possible. For me, that's an absolute no-go.

Sad, I've came here every year for 6 years! It's always been my favorite. But today I needed sometime to find my passport and they were really rude and send my outside. They literally looked at me really mad and harshly said "outside!". I guess I will not be coming back

The perfect shop, very cozy with two floors

I used to love to absolutely love this coffeeshop, been going since the mid-‘90’s, however last time I was there, with a friend that never been there before, the staff were the rudest I’ve ever experienced 😞 Most sadly. Rude when I bought some weed (maybe because my friend that doesn’t smoke at all so only bought a drink), but while I was rolling and smoking their product my girlfriend called me (she lives in Thailand) to say goodnight to me, and the aggression from the staff to stop my phone call was so aggressive I will NEVER go there again 🤷 Luckily there are better places to smoke in the beautiful city that is Amsterdam, without asshole staff that can’t be polite to start with. Not that you have to care, but bye bye Bluebird after 30 years of loving the place 🤷

I love this place. The staff is very kind and thoughtful. I spent some time here with a friend and also alone doing some creative journaling/crafting. The music is nice. Really enjoyed the vibe and will definitely come back when I‘m in the city again! I enjoyed the fresh ginger tea and was very pleased to see the prices for beverages, not overpriced! The toilets were also mostly clean, that’s great! Thanks to all the staff for your service and making me feel comfortable!

Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Bluebird has actually been going for over 20 years, and they have moved to a new venue. It looks incredibly fresh. Staff are very knowledgeable.

My friend and I shared a “Space Muffin” and experienced an unexpectedly strong effect. Our entire day was lost. We don’t know the exact THC dosage, but it definitely didn’t feel normal. Despite telling the staff multiple times that we had no experience with THC, we were given the muffin without any particular warning. Please be careful! If you’re not used to it, make sure to research beforehand. It’s not worth spending an entire day feeling unwell. If you really want to try it, start with a very small amount and see how it affects you. Enjoy Amsterdam responsibly!

The place is nice, seating is comfortable in coffeeshop context, and selection of produce is fine. However, the way you treat customers is not OK - when it is 2 degrees celcius outside, and you have customers sitting in your downstairs seating area, you DO NOT tell them they cannot close the front door, and do not force them to sit there with these doora wide open! Ridiculous behavior, invest in proper ventilation if you need to circulate the air from the premises but do not leave the clients that pay for you business to operate freezing (in summer it would be fine, but when it is cold outside this is far from being acceptable).

Favorite place to go, no extra special strains but the best local ones for the best prices. Comfortable atmosphere and the best and nicest staff in amsterdam!

The worst coffee shop ever in Amsterdam, I was extremely disturbed by the behaviour of your staff, who acted in a completely disrespectful, sexist, and racist manner towards a female customer. The customer in question was subjected to offensive comments by another a member of staff , which were all sexist and racially inappropriate. However, instead of addressing the harassment or offering support to the victim, your staff chose to defend the individual responsible for the comments and subsequently asked the woman to leave the premises. This not only worsened the situation but also made me feel even more alienated and unsafe. Such behaviour from both the customer and the staff is entirely unacceptable and deeply concerning. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in your establishment, especially due to their gender or race. It is disheartening to see that, rather than upholding a standard of respect, your staff chose to side with the person causing harm. I strongly urge you to investigate this incident and take the necessary actions to ensure such behaviour is not tolerated in the future. This includes providing your staff with proper training on handling situations involving harassment and ensuring all customers are treated with the respect they deserve.

Extremely rude staff. We were refused entry to this coffee shop because, according to the staff, our Romanian IDs were “not valid.” This claim is completely false, as Romanian IDs are valid and accepted everywhere within the EU. This was an utterly baseless excuse, and the treatment we received felt discriminatory.I’ve been there multiple times and this never happened before.(products are pretty shitty too). Also the vibes and music are just weird, felt unsafe as a girl. I do not recommend.

A local recommended this place to me and my friends while we were travelling saying that it was better than the touristy big brand of the city. Indeed, it was cheaper and the staff were very helpful. We had to walk a short while to get there, but it was well worth it.
