Poor service, staff with careless attitude.

Big black coffee never disappoints.

What incredibly grumpy staff. They bark at you if you don't understand them, even though they don't speak a word of Dutch themselves. And the fact that they all speak English isn't a problem, but just be nice.

I would prefer if the tables were kept cleaner and arranged more neatly. It also seems that they could use more staff to better handle the customer flow.

What a disgrace to pay for a cookie And then casually "forget" the order because a departing train didn't put any effort into it If that's how you have to keep your head above water, yuck! Close that place down fast.

Asked for a small bag of coffee grounds, they say they don't have such a thing. I am surprised that their main business is selling coffee 😞

Staff is like brownies and downies, but at B&D they don't forget your order.

They don't know how to make matcha latte. I ordered a grande but my cup is half full. That's the reason i stopped ordering a venti because they always give me a half full of my drink. We always pay expensive coffee but we get less from untrained baristas. I don't know if they did it on purpose but the new baristas (some old baristas are bad too so i avoid them too) were not being watched and trained good. I come to starbucks 4x a week and this location has the worse baristas hoogcatherijne and vredenburg!

Not friendly when serving. Lady at the cash register though. When serving there was whipped cream that I didn't ask for. I tell her and she scoops it off and gives it to me. It was thrown in front of me in a dirty cup, without looking at me. My daughter wanted it. If it were up to me, not recommended. It's also all sweetened and chemically it seems. Not my coffee or tea.

Great coffee and cookies, fast service, comfortable seating, and a view of the mall.

The coffee at Starbucks is always delicious! They have a wide selection of tasty specials that surprise every time. For us, Starbucks is always the perfect start to a day of shopping or a fun day in the city. A nice place to enjoy a good cup of coffee!

Got 2 cold drinks, got only 1 straw, because “they ran out and can’t give them to everyone “. Not friendly or supportive. You should warn customers before they order cold drinks.

Hello dear Starbucks Hoog Catharijne. Our ice lavender Macha was a lot of ice and disappointingly little drink. This could be better.

The frappuccino we got was not at all how it should be. We ran out of whipped cream, this was not reported in advance and yet we had to pay the same price!! Ridiculous what you get for that price.

Expensive coffee, you pay for the name here, and you can get better coffee in other places.

I think the coffee tastes not as good as other Starbucks. Also the dessert variety is few and not fresh.

There are no customer connection. Basically, the employees do not pay enough attention to customers, do not explain where your order is and you are confused, however they have enough time to play with each other. There is no hospitality, no feeling that you are welcome there. The quality of drinks has become much worse than before. The cafe is poorly cleaned.

Bad service at Starbucks. I placed an order and had to wait an extremely long time, while all the customers after me already received their orders. When I asked how long it would be before I got my matcha, they didn't even know where my order had gone. It seems that if I hadn't asked, I wouldn't have gotten my order at all. This is not the service you would expect at Starbucks

Bad experience. I ordered a frappuccino and it didn't taste like a frappuccino at all. More like a milkshake with the taste of ice cubes. Luckily I ordered the smallest cup (approx. 350 ml), and it still costs more than 6 euros! 3 or 4 of 4 employees could not speak Dutch. It was very busy, there were only uncomfortable seats available. I will never go back there again!

This is not Starbucks service or quality. It is better to get a glass of ditch water at the fountain opposite this location. Not recommended!!! Really NASTY!!! Would prefer to give them -5 points. I speak 5 languages, so communication is usually not a problem, but this lady behind the counter did not speak Dutch and also had difficulty with English. Furthermore, she only spoke Polish. So communication was difficult, normally it is not a problem, but apparently nothing was possible with this lady. The customer service was just not there. I wanted to hand in a stamp card, but that wasn't possible because it wasn't from this location... I have been going to Starbucks in the Netherlands for over 8 years and have never heard of this. With the ladies in front of me, she had no problem accepting the card, so I guess she just didn't feel like it. Ended up ordering 2 drinks. But first of all, the ice chai is super sweet, as if they put 5 scoops of sugar in it and the chai taste was very lacking. It was very diluted. She charged extra for the almond milk, but it looked like it only contained water. Review is about the location near Comptoir Libanais opposite the parking garage.

Amazing Starbucks because of the team! Best service we had in a Starbucks globally! The team is very service oriented and you can see they are a team and working together with great love and respect for the product, their team members and the customers. Even our dog got a special treat not being a cup of water!

Tasty food and drinks. The baristas need hearing aids, because they can never spell your name correctly. And they can't speak Dutch 99% of the time. For the rest it's all good. There is a nice atmosphere.

Drank coffee - weak, seems like skimping on the dosage - I am not used to Starbucks - the place is really not clean - chairs dirty - actually not even worth 2 stars - saleswoman at the cash register very difficult to understand - had to ask twice what she said - not friendly.

Too bad the tables are dirty and there is a lot of rubbish on the floor...

The staff is so RUDE! They only talk with eachother while helping you and not help you at all. They treat you like dogs!

Been visiting Starbucks again for a long time. I don't understand why this is so popular. You drink from cardboard cups, I was sitting among the waste that is not cleaned up and the cappuccino was also much too hot.

I ordered iced matcha latte (with vanilla syrup) 4 different days. And they managed to screw up my orders every single time. Even on a Sunday where the place was empty. Firstly no syrup was added. And the "venti" barely had much liquid in it, it was light and filled with ice. Thanks for cheating my money 4 times coz you charged me for it but did not include it in my drinks. Seriously, please skip this place and go to a different coffee place literally opposite. Don't forget the shrinkflation with the sandwiches...

Work a bit harder and talk way less…especially if there are four staff members talking while the drinks are already made and just waiting to be given to the customer.

Probably the worst service received at a Starbucks and I have been to hundreds in Europe and North America. We ordered a Pike Place coffee and a mint tea. It took nearly 10 minutes to get our order, served long after other customers that ordered after us. How long can it take to pour a coffee and hot water?? Turns out they did not have any brewed coffee available - so instead of telling us and offering an alternative they made us wait for them to brew some. Really? I’ve always been offered an alternative at other Starbucks locations. Either a lack of initiative on the part of the staff, lack of training, or a reflection of the management.

All 3 drinks were tasteless. And found a hair in one of the drinks. Not the taste/quality we are used to from Starbucks. Could also have been a bit friendlier

This was a very nice cafe. The service was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Worst service ever from the 3 ladies working behind the counter. All they do is talk tal talk. Especially the girl with read hair does not understand what customer service is and how to treat clients. They try to squeeze the last penny out of your pocket. Can it have something to do with the owner/founder of SB? His kind of people are know to exploiters and stingy.

Good old Starbucks, nothing new. Unfortunately here staff hates the job and it clearly shows when dealing with costumers

Service very impersonal, the coffee tasted good.

I visited this Starbucks last week, the drink was made incorrectly and I asked if this could be corrected. No words came out of Thierry's mouth and he grabbed the drink from my hands. While mumbling, he gave the drink to his colleague and when he gave it back we only got an angry look. I would also be angry with the name Thierry any day.

A poorly speaking, half-English, uninterested girl behind the counter took our order, which we could then eat in the stone-cold room on a dirty table. The coffee made everything a little more positive. If you can't speak English, you'll have to make do with signs or holiday language

Oasis of peace in the middle of the shopping center. Had to wait a very long time for the coffee (10 minutes with only 2 other customers in front of you is a bit too long for me). In addition, Starbucks is of course not cheap, but you know that in advance.

Atmosphere is quite homely and the service is fine. Sandwich with Refresha was delicious. A great place that deserves the appreciation.

Usually Starbucks is fairly consistent in terms of flavor. Not this branch. Somehow they manage to make the Signature Hot Chocolate taste like vanilla sirup with water. No noticeable chocolate flavor and only the slightest hint of milk.

The tea was great but it’s pity that they served it in the plastic cup

Op HC heb je tootheloo zitten echter Starbucks accepteert geen voucher van hen. Maar ze hebben zelf geen toilet faciliteiten. Apart!

Just name of Starbucks is big but food quality is substandard

The drink doesn't look like the picture on their website. Very little strawberry jam which you can't taste at all. You may wait for a long time for your orders. Sometimes it's quick but mostly it's not. You gotta make sure your drink is correctly made.

Got order wrong had to wait extremely long for them to get it right, And no student discount which was quite disappointing.

Lang moeten wachten op de bestelling. 2 caramel macchiato koud besteld maar warm gekregen. Blijkbaar verstond de serveerster het niet, maar op het bord staat toch echt warm of koud. Als ik het in het Engels had moeten bestellen dan was het beter geweest dat dat ergens aangegeven stond. Geen zin gehad om er wat van te zeggen omdat we anders weer zo lang zouden moeten wachten. De koffie was opzich wel lekker.

Deze vestiging is best klein en weinig zit plekken. Het personeel spreekt voor het overgrote deel alleen maar Engels. Kan voor miscommunicatie zorgen als je minder goed over de Engelse taal beschikt.

Het was heel druk en rommelig. 2 koffie besteld en dan wachten. Eerst een en dan weer wachten. Andere eerder en dan pas de tweede. Beetje raar.

Personeel is meer met zich zelf bezig. Luistert niet naar wat je besteld ,krijg je het verkeerde en een naam is nog moeilijker

De medewerkers zijn altijd vriendelijk en de koffie is super lekker !
