Starbucks in Rotterdam Centrum

It's always nice to stop by here after a hospital visit. Besides the delicious coffee and sandwiches, there's always a friendly atmosphere. The guy with the mustache, in particular, puts a smile on my face. He's always up for a joke and a chat. Great!

The man behind the counter has a heart of gold. I have a lot of respect for him; we helped a seriously ill woman. The coffee here is good.

Friendly staff (including the man with the mustache), who, after a few visits, really get to know you and chat with you when they have time. Products are prepared as you would expect at Starbucks.

Starbucks remains Starbucks; You're paying too much for the name...

Haven't been here in a long time. I heard from a colleague that they were supposed to have some tasty, "temporary" coffee combinations again. And they did, but the staff wasn't exactly friendly. The employee was surly and directive. I wasn't used to this from this Starbucks store and felt I should report it. He made me feel unwelcome, which, I think, isn't the intention. I hope the management does something about this, otherwise this will inevitably cost me customers.

Starbucks, as you'd expect. Unfortunately, no lemon cakes here🥲. The coffees are delicious, though. And it's fair to say, given the price! A small Frappuccino and a medium cappuccino for €12.65! Anyway, they were delicious, and the staff is friendly. It's just odd that one of the two doesn't speak Dutch.

The staff there is incredibly rude. The girl was so rude that I decided not to order anything.

Not only is it illegal to deny tap water, it is unethical. I just needed to take some medicine and had no cash on me, politely asked for a tap water, the answer no. Just lost a usual costumer

2 points because the staff were nice. The other points were deducted because the coffee is so bitter and burnt, super hot coffee and my goodness the price 😳 Talk about squeezing the hospital attendees. Good luck and just go somewhere else if you have the time 👍

Grumpy employee, I order a White chocolate mocha. Then you think you're getting white chocolate milk, you get coffee with white chocolate syrup... makes them grumpy and a new one still tastes like coffee

The worst starbucks staff I've encountered. I visited this branch on 21 november 2024 at around 10.50 AM. I've visited many starbucks, in many locations and countries. This location has the worst staff. The new staff is polite. While the other doesn't even know there are 3 shots of espresso in grande size, talk in very rude high tone since the beginning (the male) and talked to me in rude high tone when they have my order wrong (the female). The male stared at me angryly and when I stared back he asked me" Is there something you want to say to me?" In the end, he said if "If you are not happy, you can leave." It's very rude since I haven't even finished my coffee and sandwich. Basically, they can talk rude to you, using intimidating tone and body language, but you can't do the same to them. O yeah, the gaslighting presence also since they didn't admit to talk in rude way and treat everyone else after me super nice. To make it look like I'm the issue. Again, this is the worst starbucks staff I've encountered since I've started becoming a starbucks customer 15 years ago and always ordered the same drink since ever.

There are pumpkin spice posters all around the spot and they say theres no pumpkin spice because christmas is on the corner 😆. Blud its october.

Worst Starbucks around. The staff has little interest in it and is very unfriendly. If you order a drink with dragon fruit for almost 7 euros, the bag of dragon fruit is empty and she doesn't feel like getting a new one. Last time here

Cappuccino on the fly (10 minutes just to beat it at the checkout). I found it very sad to see a girl in a trainer (written under her name) working alone with three of her colleagues sitting behind her. She had to ask for help because she obviously couldn't do everything on her own. I found it unprofessional. PS. Very kind and nice new girl, you could understand the difficulty.

If I have a school day in the morning, I always come and get a cup of coffee. Always bring my own cup. And don't forget your stamp card to save for that free coffee. You can expect me on school days

Wanted to order an iced coffee with colleagues today. It was immediately indicated that they only have hot drinks, because the ice machine is said to be broken. 2 weeks ago and 4 weeks ago we were told the same thing. It seemed that the staff was not really looking forward to it either, they were very busy behind the counter with their smartphones. In the end we didn't buy anything and left. If you want a nice coffee you better walk into Erasmus!!!! Tip for the employees: do something you enjoy (-:

Today helped by Edin, caroline and Floor. what great guys! they are super friendly. I wanted an iced drink but unfortunately the ice was not delivered but they helped me choose another drink so I walked out with a smile.😃😃😃!!!

Hot drinks for €2.50 before 11:00 am is prominently displayed on the windows of this branch. When I ordered a cappuccino at 9:30 am and was surprised that I had paid almost €5, I decided to ask the employee behind the cash register how this was done. I received a very unfriendly response and this action would only apply if you explicitly indicated this to the employee before placing your order. Surprised, I asked why there were such large promotion posters on the windows. The employee very unfriendly indicated that I should not make such a fuss about €2.50 and that these are just the rules. Now it really isn't about the €2.50 for me, but the principle that extensive advertising is made and then it is assumed that customers themselves indicate that they want to take advantage of a promotion... Very special!

Just sent away because apparently we are not allowed to drink from a paper cup if we want to sit inside. Wasn't indicated anywhere and was spoken to in a very grumpy manner. "then you have to leave." Not a single word of customer service from this employee.

In my opinion, you are absolutely the opposite of customer-oriented when you show up at your workplace in the incorrect work clothes and continuously use your (private) telephone in full view of customers. In addition, this lady was too busy with her meal and energy drink (which she consumed behind the counter) with her back to the entrance, so she did not see new customers. She then helped the new customers without cleaning her hands. Just use your break room for these unpleasantries. The other lady, on the other hand, did everything very well and did wear matching work clothes. So three stars for the good consumption, the lady who did well and the nice seating areas. Also not with the most appetizing view.

It's Starbucks there's the standard. I give 4 stars because I love kind/polite people and they were 😊

Large restaurant, actually more for the staff. It is neat and very affordable, but not much choice of dishes.

I have been to many Starbucks's, but the complete lack of interest and several errors or incorrectly delivered drinks among several customers was very striking. You order a Hazelnut Hot Chocalate Crunch and after waiting a little longer (it wasn't busy), you have to ask for the crunch. Also if you have a runny cold (it's a good idea for the lady to come to work anyway) you blow your nose neatly behind it, but without washing your hands you start working with the cups again... at this time in this place? I don't blame the ladies, but I do blame Starbucks...investing and guiding your staff is important.

Eten was wel goed maar had een wel erg gierig TooGoodToGo pakketje. Een croissantje en een plakje bananenbrood. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar voor oudere producten wat een hele dag in een vitrine ligt wat je net zo goed lekker warm gebakken in de ochtend had kunnen halen voor die prijs. Het haalde de totale waarde van de adviesprijs van het pakket bij lange na niet. Helaas zag ik het pas nadat de zaak dicht was aangezien ik dus naar het ziekenhuis moest. Wel direct melding gedaan via TGTG. De koffie die ik had besteld was wel goed maar zal dus geen TGTG meer via dit filiaal nemen.

Ik had een chiabatta Mexican genomen maar het broodje was droog en proefde oud. De koffie was wel lekker

Première fois dans une enseigne de la chaîne Starbucks. Très bonne expérience dans cet enseigne situé à Rotterdam, à une vingtaine de minutes à pied du centre ville de Rotterdam ☀️ Le cadre est vraiment sympa, le personnel aussi. De plus, le prix des produits proposés est correct, les boissons fraîches savoureuses, les pâtisseries pourraient avoir meilleur goût s’ils n’étaient pas industriels mais ça va quand même. Rapport qualité/prix ok 👌🏾

Een Frappuccino chocolate chip tall gehaald na in geen tijden starbucks. Aan het einde werd gevraagd of ik nog slagroom wou maar verder vrij weinig aandacht voor de klant maar meer met elkaar bezig. Zit er helemaal geen espresso shot in. Betaal je serieus tegenwoordig bijna vijf euro voor een hoopje melk, bevroren water en een pompje smaakstof en dan geen koffie???!

Het is kleiner als het eruit ziet van buiten maar binnen de wel bekende Starbucks sfeer. Voor mij was de espresso in mijn cappucino net iets te sterk dus moest hem laten staan. De tafeltjes waren schoon en er was desondanks de winkel vol zat met studenten toch nog plaats om even te zitten. Fijn om even af te draaien na een ziekenhuis bezoek.

Een snelle en nette service. Een prettige ruimte om even rustig koffie te kunnen drinken. Ondanks de soms drukke aanloop van klanten hangt er een ontspannen en vriendelijke sfeer.

We kwamen speciaal vanuit ziekenhuis naar starbucks, zou om 12u open zijn op zaterdag... Niemand aanwezig, vorige keer al geen cacke meer, wat in display stond mocht niet verkocht worden... Dan nog niet kunnen betalen in contanten? He??? Moet ik hier terug komen?

I went here two weeks ago on a Monday morning, and the girl serving was working all alone, she had a queue out the door of around 15 people waiting, she was taking orders and making coffee… give this girl a pay rise / bonus.. or get at least 3 assistants! She was doing such a good job to keep her cool and get the job done, coffee was perfect btw!

Update: ik heb een gratis drankje gekregen en de medewerker gaf aan dat ze bezig zijn dat je je geld wel terug kan krijgen. Wanneer dat gefixt is, geef ik deze zaak 5 sterren. Voor nu nog 3 helaas, is toch wel een minpunt als bedrijf. Ik bestelde een drankje, dit hadden ze niet op voorraad. Ik reken hem af en hoor later dat ze deze niet hebben. Dus ik bestelde een ander, echter was deze goedkoper. Ze konden me met geen enkele mogelijkheid het verschil in geld teruggeven. Na een hele scène over de zaak gemaakt te hebben. Kon ze me toch het geld terug geven uit de ‘fooi pod’. Bovendien waren de medewerkers ook ontzettend dom. Ze konden niet rekenen, waardoor ik een rekensom hardop moest zeggen. Ook wisten ze niet dat je geld kan terug storten met pin en hoe dat dan moet.

Precies wat je van een Starbucks zou verwachten! 👌

It's great that Erasmus MC gets a Starbucks at such proximity, a nice option for all doctors and nurses willing to get a much deserved coffee break during a long shift.. Of course, also convenient for the patients who want to treat themselves after a heavy procedure ✅ They should sell branded EMC reausable mugs there, maybe this could help improve the environmental footprint of the hospital 💡♻️ 😜 Some plants could freshen up the atmosphere a little 🤷
