Starbucks in Rotterdam Centrum

Whenever I go here there is no fresh filter coffee. They always suggest americano which i find very ridiculous not to have filter coffee in a coffee chain! Also today they did not have americano as well. So no coffee for you in this sbx.

staff is not welcoming at all blond girl working at 3sep 10:30 at kassa she dont expalian and she act like she is in hurry and im the one who need to do her the serivce. not RECOMMENDED AT ALL

I took a coffee twice today, one small americano (but got a huge cup, dear god) and a double espresso which was awesome. Both tasty and good coffee. They have some Dutch mugs in both espresso and huge size.

The staff wasn't very helpful. I really wanted a reusable cup that wasn't made of plastic, and I was directed to a glass cup. It turns out at home that this is actually meant for cold drinks. This indicates to me that they don't know their products. It's a real shame because they are quite expensive!

I asked for a frappuccino caramel without coffee, and the drink didn't taste like caramel. I asked for a bit extra caramel so it could be a real caramel frappuccino, but I had to pay extra. The quality of the drinks is getting worse. Don't recommend

I just had a horrible ube matcha. It was completely different from the other ube matchas I’ve had. This one tasted like milk with a vanilla sweetener in it- couldn’t drink it.

Staff attitude is weird. I asked twiced if a drink comes with sugar. The first time the barista ignored it, the second time she asked me if I want it with ice or hot. Only at the end did she ask it I want two or four spoons of syrup. How hard is it to answer a question directly? I thought I was not in Holland with this type of ambiguous behavior. Not to mention that she was not friendly at all throughout the encounter.

The woman looked kinda upset and the man cleared my drink without permission even though I hadn’t finished it. The service was terrible.

We came here expecting to get our drinks but, they didn’t make what we order: - caramel macchiato and pistachio matcha latte They just made a “latte macchiato” and the pistachio didn’t came with pistachio cream, only like a drizzle on top. When I asked about the caramel (which comes with vanilla syrup and caramel drizzle), they only added drizzle on top. For the matcha… well, we just accepted.

Staff working this morning (7:00 am, Thursday 22.01) was extremely friendly and welcoming 💚 great product and drink

It is not a particularly atmospheric place to sit, but it is fine for a quick walk.

A nice place to sit while waiting for a long ride. The drinks are pretty much the same at every location. You can sit in the cafe itself or by the window to look out.

Great service but giving one star cause it's uncivilized for a cafe not to have a restroom. You have to use the train station's restroom which is not free??? How's that even legal.

Coffee was burnt on both of us, thrown away after 1 sip

I asked for a chai latte without sugar, they made me a macha latte, I asked for a replacement, they made me a chai latte that was too sweet, I asked for more boiling water because it was too sweet, they made me a new one that was just as sweet, I gave it back and didn't drink it.

What rude and totally unprofessional employees you have on staff. Orders are taken without any interest whatsoever and, on top of that, they go wrong. When I repeated my order as a precaution, I received an aggressive snap: “Yes, I heard you.” Truly scandalous. Someone with such an attitude should not be working in service. This was pure arrogance and unfriendliness.

11.21 very poor service. Baristas are nonchalant. Bad attitude. And there is no chocolate sauce on Frappuccino despite asking.

The staff are too busy with each other. They don't even look at you and don't listen properly. I still got a caffeinated drink, which staff really need to be careful with (medication interaction in my case).

No point of Starbucks if its work when I work, and closed when I need coffee

This Starbucks location is a great option at Rotterdam Central Station. Fast service and conveniently located in the station's common area.

I went with a colleague to get some coffee at around 1 PM on 18 September 2025 (Thursday). There were at least three baristas behind the counter and only two people ahead of us, yet we had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be served. When we finally ordered, we were informed that there was no more tiramisu latte or cold brew, so I just ordered an iced Americano. After getting my order, I went over to the self-service station to add some syrup to it, as that's usually where customers can get sugar, syrup and serviettes. Upon seeing that there was no syrup there, I went back to the counter to ask for it. This was the conversation that ensued between me and one of the female baristas working at the time: Me: "Can I get some syrup added to my drink please?" SLCBarista: "Then you have to pay." Me: "Okay, I will pay." SLCBarista: "No, pay for another drink." Me: "But...why? You can't just add some syrup to this drink?" SLCBarista: "NO BUT THEN WE LOSE MONEY." Appalling service all around.

The service was terrible from the two girls who served, both the brunette and the other girl, both super rude. I asked for something and they gave it to me in a bad way, they also looked at me very badly.

I asked if there was matcha and there confusion of yes and no. Yes there was iced matcha but no warm matcha - asked for the iced and was told there was no matcha. Atmosphere wise is quite cozy.

Young people who come to charge alone. Annoying for people who pay for expensive coffee and cake, only to be left without a seat and unable to charge. Staff should pay attention to this.

Coffee is the best thing, everything else is a piece of cake. It's obvious that they've stopped trying. The food selection is questionable and too international. There are too few seats considering the location in the city center. The wait for service is too long. The employees don't smile enough, they need to offer content and not just packaging, which has been sinking in the average of globalization in recent years.

Poor customer service. When asked for a plate for the brownie I had the saff says they can’t give it because it’s busy. I was the only one on the counter. What a joke of a service.

I think this is a place that cares more about money than the health of their staff, way too hot in there, cafe always dirty, orders are made wrong, no speed, smelly staff

I also ordered an iced coffee and it was even worse than I read in the comments, namely a cup filled with coffee, cold milk and many large ice cubes. Nothing sweet in it, no whipped cream, nothing. Just coffee with ice cubes. WORTHLESS! I am now so curious about a response from Starbucks!!! What a lot of money for such a SCAM!

I double checked if the ice latte was with soya milk and she proceeds to school me: ‘ did you order it with soya milk’ to which I responded yes. To which she then responded ‘nou dan zal het wel zo zijn he’. Very unfortunate way of speaking

I ordered matcha lavender but got lavender latte When I asked, they said they don't sell matcha lavender and that it's only on the screen...ㅋㅋㅋ I'm really dumbfounded... Then what did I order...ㅋㅋㅋ When I ordered, they looked like they didn't want to take my order, but after taking my matcha lavender order, they gave me something weird without saying anything. This is the first time I've seen a Starbucks like this Just go somewhere else. There are many good places near Central.

The price rise recently was a disappointing change. Everytime i visit in the morning, the staff is really friendly, cheeful and helpful. But in the afternoons whenever I visit the staff is on the phone and I feel like I am bothering them when I order. I would recommend having the staff have the same approach to the customers as the experience in the afternoons has become sour.

I ordered 3 iced coffees at 7:40 PM, I understand, you are almost closing, but this is really ridiculous for such an organization. What I got is ice cream with coffee at the bottom and whipped cream on top, no strawberry, macha still caramel breeding shit place, better go to Honslersdijk, where people work who can work in a coffee shop. ALL RECIPES ARE STANDARD PROCEDURE. BUT APPARENTLY MAKING COFFEE IS A DIFFICULT ASSIGNMENT HERE. Good luck

Rude appalling customer service by a female Indian/South Asian barista who refused to give her name and looked like she hated her job and hated serving customers. I was treated begrudgingly and snapped at for no reason. When I raised my concern with her attitude she return with a rude: What’s your problem? I was simply startled and shocked with this level of customer service from Starbucks which I never experienced before and I visited so many Starbucks branded at more than 50++ countries! The drink made was bad and done hastily even the restaurant was empty and she was not serving anyone. Avoid at all costs.

You arrive at 8:15 PM while closing time is 10:00 PM. The lady comes behind the counter with a very irritated look and tone and tells you that you can no longer order everything because they are already closing. Because of her attitude I thought she closed at 8:30 PM or so, only later when I left I found out at 10:00 PM :ss. I get it catering is tiring, but if you don't feel like working, go home or call in sick, customers don't have to suffer from your grumpy face. By the way, she was an expat/international student-like girl with light brown hair and pale skin

Calm, fast service and a good alternative to relax after a long walk. The general crowd and noise of Starbucks is not here. I liked it.

People behind the counter were very friendly, they did not have what i wanted but the barista made a variation that was even more nom, baristas were also really friendly and welcoming, i had a white chocolate mocha shaken espresso and mango chia pudding

I got sick from drinking at Starbucks. I clearly said I wanted an oat latte but apparently it was a normal one after all. Because within half an hour I was hanging above a train toilet. And no, that's not fun, I can tell you. I don't order an oat latte for nothing. If you are lactose intolerant, you really cannot tolerate normal milk. You can't be too careful with this, I advise the employee who helped me. Despite this experience, he was friendly and the food was ready quickly. And the atmosphere is nice to wait and work in.

I don't easily leave a bad review. But the day I came in here, there was 1 boy there helping people as well as making orders and paying all at the same time. Although he really did his best to do everything on his own, the service and drinks were disappointing. We asked for 2 iced caramel lattes and got 2 normal lattes without caramel. The sandwiches were completely stuck to the bag in the bag. Because there was no container around it. So half of it couldn't be eaten because it stuck together. I recommend that they employ some more staff so that the team has more peace. Really a shame :( It's really great that the boy tried so hard!

Both flat white and matcha latte burning hot which should not be the case for either. The coffee was bitter due to overheating. The flat white was also too long.

I just went there and ordered a Golden Caramel. While waiting for the drink, I observe the barista placing caramel syrup and white mocha in my cup. I ask why? And they say because they don’t have Golden Caramel Syrup. Why they don’t ask me if I accept this variation? They lie to customers that don’t know about thi drink. There is no need. Speak honest, is the least we deserve as customers

Very rude customer service from a girl whose name I don’t know but has lots of tattoos on her arm. I respectfully waited until she was ready to take my order and she just looks with a blank stare. Feeling a bit uncomfortable already, I said hi to her. To which she didn’t greet me back and just asked me if I wanted to order something. The way she continued was really not what you expect from any type of good customer service, let alone from Starbucks, where it’s supposed to be about the “experience” and not just the coffee

Apparently you cannot order a 'normal' hot chocolate but you have to choose between all kinds of vaguely hip names. The chocolate milk was not warm but boiling hot with a very sad puddle of whipped cream. The cappucino was just gross and we were given disposable cups even though we were just sitting at a table (saved washing up) and they smelled like chemical dyes. Because of the loud beach music we ended up standing outside and fortunately close to a trash can so we came up with the great idea to throw away the 'drinks'.

I ordered lactose free latte and waited. They didn't call me. There was a cup of coffee that no one took. I asked if it was mine and the barista said yes. It was sweet and wasn't my order. Gave it back and said the order was wrong. He said he was sorry and asked again what I wanted. I (again) said latte with lactose free milk. They prepared a new one. I took a sip and it was the same with the first coffee which I gave it back. :D I don't know why they persistently gave it to me. Two stars for the bagel.

Good stop to grab something on the way. Loved the Gingerbread latte, a delightful holiday treat that perfectly captures the festive spirit. It was topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of gingerbread powder, and made it into a cozy and satisfying experience. The barista was very friendly too and that made it all the more nice!!

Had vandaag een medewerker, die wist het allemaal denk ik niet meer. Verkeerde maat en prijs afgerekend. Ik had een studentenkaart, laten zien. Toch niet meegerekend met de prijs. Was daarbij ook super traag, enfin. Wel heeft barista mijn order lekker gemaakt.

Friendly staff, good chocolate frappeccino and had a nice square sized food thing with caramel and chocolate. The only bad things where that it was a bit messy in the restaurant area, my name is written wrong and the recycle marketing policy of Starbucks in general (so not specially this shop) is a bit weird. If they really want to stop waste, their plastic cups should be cheaper. Or at least some sort of plastic cup should be available for max. 3 euro's. Doesn't feel like Starbucks mean it.

Bizar personeel aan het begin van de avond op 26-09. 2 jongere gasten die de drankjes maakte en ondertussen uitgebreid met wat vrienden stonden te kletsen aan de balie waar drankjes gehaald werden. Waren druk in gesprek en aan het klagen dat het zo druk was, terwijl ze gratis drankjes voor hun vrienden maakte en klanten op een asociale manier riepen om hun drankje op te halen. Volgende keer loop ik hier voorbij als dit personeel werkt.

On one hand a typical Starbucks with their typical coffee. On the other, the service is really top. Fast, friendly, helpful.

Een slechte ervaring. We waren vrij vroeg, rond 8:00. De vloer plakkerig. Vitrines slordig. Beetje viezig allemaal. Bediening chaotisch. Veel personeel maar men was niet met klanten bezig. Weinig klanten maar toch lang wachten. Personeel vooral bezig met elkaar en niet met de klanten. Men was om 8:00!! onderling bezig om de middagpauze van 15:00 in te delen terwijl er klanten stonden die niet geholpen werden.

Lekkere cappuccino met havermelk. Handig als je allergisch bent voor koemelk. Helaas wel duur. Meer dan 5 euro. Bediening onpersoonlijk.

Voor de 2e dag op rij een gemiste kans voor Starbucks. Sta van voor 7 uur tot 7:10 te wachten tot de deur open gaat. Personeelslid is meer met zichzelf bezig dan op tijd de deur openen. Openingstijden ophet raam zijn overigens van 06:30 tot 22:00 uur.

Cassiëre was echt aardig maar diegene die de drankjes aan het maken was had echt geen zin in dr leven ofzo haha. Is terug te proeven in een bittere caramel macchiato
