Starbucks in Spoorzone Zuid

I found my visit to Starbucks to be very unpleasant. To start with, I had to place my order in English because the cashier did not speak Dutch. That in itself wasn't a problem, but then I was laughed at by the two employees taking my order. I had specifically asked for a drink without whipped cream. Nevertheless, whipped cream was added, after which one employee whispered in the other's ear that the drink had to be without whipped cream. Instead of making a new drink, the whipped cream was simply spooned out, and I was given the same drink anyway. I understand that mistakes can be made, especially when it is busy. But I was the only customer in the store at that moment. I would have appreciated it, at the very least, if they had consulted with me to see if this was an acceptable solution. Finally, my drink was pushed across the bar without further communication, and eye contact was no longer made. I consider this a particularly unprofessional way of dealing with customers. Mistakes can happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference. From Starbucks, I expected at least friendly and respectful treatment.

We wanted to order the £9.95 meal deal advertised on both the screen and the paper flyers, but it turned out the system didn't recognize the promotion, so we were told to pay the regular prices. Why advertise something that isn't actually available for sale? The staff member who served us was pleasant, but that didn't change the bad impression left by the experience.

What a terrible shame, because this drink really ruined my lovely day. This time it was totally different from the last time: at first, it was way too bland and I could barely taste any coffee. There was also no layer of caramel in the cup, even though I had specifically asked for extra caramel. When I pointed this out, a new one was made, but unfortunately with an irritated attitude. The second version was still way too bland as well, even though the coffee flavor was actually much stronger than usual. I honestly wonder if you use different recipes for the same iced blended coffee, because I have never had one this bad. I am truly hugely disappointed with this experience. Unfortunately, she couldn't taste what she had made for us herself, otherwise she might have understood why I am so disappointed. I am truly incredibly disappointed with this bad experience.

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, we were served by a female employee with an incredibly grumpy and unfriendly attitude. We had ordered two caramel frappuccinos, but unfortunately, they were incredibly watery and bland in taste, and nothing like the ones we normally get here. To be honest, they were so bad that we couldn't even finish them. When we politely asked if the drinks could be remade, the employee reacted visibly irritated. When handing over the new drinks, she said absolutely nothing and placed/threw them at us in a very unfriendly manner, with a particularly grumpy look. In the end, the two drinks were still undrinkable and ended up straight in the trash. A waste of money, but given the way we were treated, we will consider the amount a donation for the poor service and attitude of this employee. It is a shame I have to say this, because normally we enjoy coming here and are used to a completely different quality and service. But both the coffee and the way we were treated today were really substandard.

They don’t have any ice and can’t make any iced drinks for more than a month now. So disappointing.

In itself, a fine Starbucks branch. However, there are a number of problems: 1. The opening hours are not adhered to. They often open earlier and close later than the indicated times. This causes confusion and they may also miss out on customers. 2. The ice machine has been broken for 2 to 3 months. As a result, only hot drinks can be made. That can happen once, of course, but the fact that the machine has been defective for 2 to 3 months is very strange, especially in the summer. Because Starbucks is a large chain, you would expect a solution to be found for this more quickly. 3. The service is inconsistent. One time you are served by a friendly and helpful barista who knows exactly how the drinks should be made, while the next time someone is standing behind the counter who seems rather not to be there and has no idea how everything works. Especially in a branch at a station, time plays a major role, because people have to catch their train or get somewhere. Conclusion: I am happy that there is a Starbucks here, but there are still many points that could and should be improved.

No ice (I came in for opening) which doesn’t seem to be an unusual occurrence. Sonia resolved the issue with kindness but seemed to be exhausted from working alone (…and probably dehydrated due to the 30 degree weather with no cold drinks!). Also I came in before and asked for tap water (had my own bottle) and they shook their head. Honestly, I think there are miles better coffee shops, close to the train station and I think the reviews reflect that.

When I stop by here (although that isn't very often), I almost always grab a drink. But: it's always a gamble here, because whether you get friendly service, whether things move along reasonably quickly (relevant if you have a train to catch), and whether the barista understands how to make a drink varies greatly. Apparently, not every barista is equally well-trained or understands what is expected of them at all, and some simply seem to have absolutely no interest in it. You're better off going to the Starbucks in town if you have the time; they even have a better selection of sandwiches.

The drinks are tasty, but how can you keep going without ice in hot weather... They also slam the warehouse door shut behind them; the couch vibrates from it.

The waitress working this morning was extremely rude. I asked for an iced drink, and she made a face before telling me they didn't have any ice, in a tone as if I should have known. Sorry, how was I supposed to know? A little courtesy goes a long way. You're working in customer service, so you should be more polite and watch your tone.

Your coffee master anouk was pretty rude to me and my friends, we tried to walk upstairs and a bunch of girls sitting there screamed at us that it was closed ,then after purchasing something each we tried to seat in the cafe downstairs and once again we were told to leave because we had outside food, we checked the rules on the door and it doesn’t say anywhere its not allowed.

Got explained that cup couldn’t be filled as usual that I get at least, which was okay 🤷🏼‍♀️ whatever your rules are here but this pixie barista was chatting with her colleagues and before I even manage to leave talks about me too.. service unprofessional. That’s all.

The barista decided it was not her job to serve the correct drink, and in front of my eyes she made the wrong size. Instead of remaking it, she added a cup of ice. I came back and asked for another shot of espresso, where instead of offering to remake my drink to the correct size she awkwardly admitted to her mistake and did as I told her. If I didn’t return, I would have drank expensive milk! Adithi, perhaps be honest next time.

No toasted sandwiches, nothing to eat, and it's only 11:30.

They should hire kind people who can provide good service to everyone.

On Thursday, January 29th, at 6:15, I was here for a drink. The barista was arrogant even while I was ordering. She accidentally gave my order to another woman, who took a sip and then returned it. Now, I'm not the most difficult person, because the barista was alone, and I didn't ask for a new drink. I did want a new lid, but she didn't take the time. When I finally managed to reach her and ask for a new lid, she rolled her eyes as if I was giving her extra work. Very rude and unnecessary. And not even an apology or a good day. Very unprofessional and disappointing compared to other Starbucks locations.

I was at this Starbucks in Tilburg and wanted to place an order. While waiting for help, which took quite a while, I accidentally knocked over a mug that was for sale. It broke. The barista responded by rolling her eyes and saying arrogantly, with a smirk on her face, "You have to pay." I then looked at a mug that was still intact and saw that it cost €13. I indicated that I wanted to pay this amount, but the barista had charged me €20. When I asked to look at the price on the bottom of the mug, I was refused. I found this very unpleasant, especially because it seemed like they were asking for more than the stated price. Eventually, the amount was adjusted to €13, and the price tag was removed from the other mug and then replaced. This struck me as very strange and unprofessional. A friend of mine had also ordered a drink that had been made incorrectly.

This morning, a colleague and I bought an overpriced Americano and cappuccino because the Dutch Railways (NS) left us stranded. We were both unpleasantly surprised by the extremely poor quality; it's actually strange that they even sell "coffee" anymore. Absolutely NOT recommended!

I thought I'd just grab a nice drink at Starbucks and do some work in the cafe. Unfortunately, a nice drink wasn't in the cards. I had ordered a White Mocca (with soy milk) in my own cup. It was more of a cappuccino and wasn't made with soy milk. Very disappointing! I wanted to pay with a full loyalty card, but that was very difficult for the barista. Because that didn't work, and problems eventually arose, it was resolved with a lot of sighing and groaning. Then she wanted to charge me later for a plastic cup that I didn't have because I had brought my own cup. All very strange. The barista then started rolling her eyes and sighing deeply to make my drink, which unfortunately didn't meet Starbucks standards, because it was also without the whipped cream that is supposed to be on it, and therefore steamed like a cappuccino. Not really Starbucks service. Very disappointing! I do not recommend getting a drink in Tilburg. (I’m not writing this review to be a Karen, but last time my drink was made wrong too, a mocha instead of a white mocha)

I really never write reviews, but I ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk and what I got was matcha powder, the whole whisk was never used, with an espresso shot in it (???), I doubt it's coconut milk and it's iced while I ordered a hot one… If you don't know how to make it, why work there? Or just look it up quickly? On top of that, it took a very long time and the staff's attitude wasn't exactly friendly either. A complete waste of my money :(

It was my first time visiting The Netherlands and at 20:30pm in Tilburg my phone had run dry, the 2 girls on the closing shift that night ( 7th October 2025) were extremely kind and accommodating and allowed myself and my friend to charge our phones all the way up until closure, unfortunately couldn’t get their names but I’ll never forget the kindness shown by the Dutch people as a British tourist in their country! ❤️ also the coffee was amazing

Great coffee, didn't eat anything else. However, neither the times on Google nor the times on the door are correct. They seem to open and close at random times.

Picked up a Too Good To Go bag at this Starbucks. The service was rather neutral and not particularly friendly, The food from the bag was fresh and tasty, and drink prices are at the usual Starbucks level.

15:25 and the door is already locked. Staff are already cleaning up. According to the website and Google Maps, it should be open until 17:00.

It the best workers, they are nice and when they didn’t have change to give they said i can have the drink for free, they also speak English fluently and they are very nice, the drinks were also very tasty, thank you for the experience

Clean place, nice seating area overlooking the square. The ladies who served me a delicious coffee were extremely friendly.

Great location at the station and comfortably furnished. There are delicious sandwiches available as well as all kinds of coffee and hot chocolate. The staff are very friendly.

Every time there is only one person working, takes orders then makes drinks warm food one order at time. I had to left three times because it was too much time to wait. It’s a station people have no time to wait!!!

This is a very good coffee shop that opens early in the morning. The iced latte is so delicious that the taste cannot be beat. But it could be a little bigger and open a little earlier, like 6:30. There could also be WiFi.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent order from Starbucks through Thuisbezorgd. Not only was the banana cake missing from my order, but I also found a hair embedded in the cheesecake. Ordered a small coffee. Looks like a bucket. Not to drink. Sorry, bitter and sour, way too hot. It looks burnt, and that's how it tastes. 3.75, shame.....

Ordered 2 cappuccinos, and the taste was disgusting 🥲 I don’t know what went wrong, burnt beans or whatever…We asked to change it and make new ones, but they said that everything was ok with the coffee (without even trying it). In addition to that, they kick out people who are charging their phones there, !after! finishing their coffee or food. Shame on HR who hire such unwelcome people, because they actually represent the whole Starbucks company👎👎👎 Expensive and not tasty. Prefer locals more than that.

For the one and only Starbucks in Tilburg, I’d appreciate opening hours at least until 7 or 8 PM. I don’t understand how it can be so short on such busy place. EDIT; They have changed the opening hours some time ago, now it’s perfect. Opens at 6:30 and thursday is until 9 pm. Amazing.

To be honest, the way they served me was horrible I also worked in catering for 2-3 years, but if I want the guest to come back or continue to shop "with us", I certainly won't cut heads no matter how tired I am or how difficult my work is. So yeah...

Not really friendly, even when redeeming a full card, I still had to pay to add syrup...

Last Monday I had 2 delicious pumpkinSpice lattes and a hot chocolate with whipped cream and extra chocolate sauce. Ate 3 donuts. Were in tip top condition. Sanitary facilities were clean. The employee was neat and tidy and spoke to me politely, in English. 🙈 Lots of young people, students, they were noisy. Work was done quickly, while the girl was completely alone. Later a male colleague joined us, but I cannot say that this made things go faster. It's nice that there are many charging points.

Seating area was very dirty so not comfortable to sit in. While I still had to wait. Personally, I didn't find the staff friendly either.

Delicious different types of coffee! On the expensive side, but the best coffee around. I wouldn't recommend the snacks. These are often still half-frozen and do not have much taste, and they are also very expensive and therefore not worth it. You can charge your phone and laptop, which is very nice. I would not recommend ordering as you pay approximately €5 delivery costs.

Very slow! 10 minutes later still no cappuccino and so I went without my order because otherwise I would miss the train... and in the meantime I kept chatting with each other behind the counter but was unable to serve customers. I want my money back

Always good coffee and friendly staff. It's just a shame that they are rarely open at 7am but often 5 minutes late. Because I have to catch my bus, I can't wait for it and I have to drink around the bend of the ahtogo. Sad start to the day :(

Hele klein Starbucks. Personeel was vriendelijk, maar heel druk. Moest ruim 10 minuten wachten op mijn cappuccino. Verder wat je mag verwachten:)

I am hoping it was an anomaly but I ordered a flat white and received what can only be described as a cup of hot milk with brown colouring. No taste of coffee (complete opposite of what a flat white is). 30 seconds later I showed the coffee maker as humbly as I could the milkiness of the drink and I got a blank stare back. I didn't have time to get the drink sorted out as I had a bicycle and needed to rush for the train. I just wanted to inform her that she made the coffee incorrectly.

Drinken was lekker,maar het duurde ontzettend lang. Het was niet eens zo druk binnen,stond 4 man personeel en heb 15 min gewacht op mn drinken en daarnaast wisten ze niet meer wat ze gemaakt hadden en waren ze erg onbeleefd. Pluspunt was wel het pride schort tho

Leuk, vriendelijk en professioneel personeel, lekkere koffie. Lemon loaf cake vind ik trouwens lekkerder dan die van McDonalds.

Vandaag net voor sluitingstijd 2 lekkere cappuccino's besteld en super vriendelijk geholpen door de dame achter de kassa ! We werden er helemaal vrolijk van !

Had a good experience with correctly spelling my name twice, even asking the spelling because they want to do it right, and they are kind. A bit expensive but a nice environment to wait for the train, especially as it's cold in winter. Only downside is that it's closed early (19:00) on weekend evenings.

Prima Starbucks, maar koffie halen voor de trein vertrelt zit er vaak niet in. Personeel is simpelweg te traag vergeleken met andere filialen. Rij van 4 personen kost meer dan 15 minuten

Klein maar fijn, met super aardige medewerkers

Ieder seizoen lekker nieuwe smaken. Alles is ook decaf te krijgen. Een vriendin met koemelk allergie heeft ook met speciale melk kunnen bestellen. Voor ieder is er wat wils. Hun koffie is heerlijk. In de zomer zijn hun frappes aan te raden. Ik kom er niet vaak. Maar elke keer als ik er kom word ik niet teleur gesteld als ik mezelf beloon met een lekker drankje. Vandaag ook een van hun gebakjes besteld en die was ook heerlijk.

Kei lieve dames werken hier, geven advies op maat met een vriendelijke glimlach en een aanstekelijk enthousiasme.

Good coffee and space, but there's no wifi

Altijd ff stoppen voor m'n grote cappuccino. Klantvriendelijke mensen achter de bar en erg behulpzaam als je weer eens niet weet waar je moet zijn. Er is geen toet maar er zit wel een net verzorgd openbaar toilet in de buurt waar je met pin kan betalen
