Sorry to say, but this Starbucks is permanently closed 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was only a little snow flurry, but the train was going to the airport and then had to turn back due to the winter weather, so I stopped by Starbucks to get some coffee to prevent a mental breakdown.

There were no baked goods, they don’t accept cash, and all the event drinks were unavailable as well. Even though there’s another Starbucks 200 meters from here where everything is different.

Customers are turned away an hour before closing time

I have a comment: most of the cakes and pastries are old and not very good. I hope this will be taken into account. Thank you.

The library was full, so I figured I'd grab a bite and sit on the area dedicated to the café since I had already gone out of my way to get there. I went in at 6.10PM on a Monday and the woman behind the bar told me that she couldn't heat up the sandwich because the oven had been turned off since they were closing at 6.30PM. I asked her why, because it clearly said 8PM online and figured maybe I got it wrong. Apparently, they're severely understaffed and close shop at random times. I post this not to shame the staff (I'm sure they're doing as best as they can). I post this to shame the company itself. Starbucks, what are you doing? Also, if you're going to close at 6.30PM, maybe update the hours online.

I just ordered something and the cashier was something like: Who the heck are you to order from me….aslo I wanted a water and she was something like:We don’t serve water… she stoped mid sentence and she gave me a look like (Passent ) first time in my life coming at a actual Starbucks and the last.Still love you’re coffee and I will buy it from stores

I ordered a caffe latte, but received a scalding hot coffee that was completely undrinkable. A huge disappointment.

A small, friendly Starbucks in the heart of Rotterdam. Attached to a library, not far from the market hall.

I don't know how, but this Starbucks seems to be consistently slow every single time I come here. The staff seems to find chatting a lot more important than making a cup of coffee. I have yet to come here without seeing someone leave the queue because it is taking too long. If it is indeed as it seems, a workplace where adolescents get sent to work as their punishment please give them better guidance.

They don't know how to make a proper cappuccino at this location and pastries are stale often times.

Closing at 5 pm on Friday night instead of 8 pm as it should be, and then sitting at a table in front of the door until 5:45 pm, smoking a cigarette with two people. And then in a sick tone of voice, "You're welcome... well, just stick that nitrogen somewhere in a crappy shop."

Dirty place, wrong order, unprofessional staff. I asked for something with ice and they gave it to me piping hot. I waited 10 minutes standing like a dead man, and the unengaged employees paid no attention to me. To top off the experience, they splashed coffee on my sweatshirt and started laughing. It's full of homeless people and desperate people outside.

Once again, I found myself standing in line with a group of people during opening hours, and there was no staff member to be seen. After about 10 minutes, a woman and man emerged from the warehouse together, somewhat sweaty, and orders were taken again without further explanation. Several customers had already left by then.

Unfortunately, my experience on July 2nd was incredibly disappointing. I come here every day and always get my Cool Lime Less Ice, which is usually made perfectly: nice and fresh and sweet. The manager (a lady without work clothes, name unknown) had an arrogant attitude and spoke unfriendly. My drink only tasted like water, and when I politely pointed this out, I was blamed for wanting less ice. She threw the carton on the counter, added some extra syrup and said in a blunt tone: "Yes, this is how it should be, bye!" I was not even allowed to finish talking. It is a shame to be treated like this as a regular customer. I expect Starbucks to be customer friendly and to have good quality. This was far below par.

I just love this place. People who work here are attentive and happy to give recommendations and preset items well, which is great, especially for when seasonal items come. Today I ordered my usual, filter coffee, got it and sat at the table, but a few minutes later Emre walked up to me with a new beverage in his hand and said that his colleague Diego coffee he poured me was probably not fresh so he corrected it and handed me a freshly brewed beverage. This customer service level you often don't see even in fine dining. Great job, guys!

Four euros for a bowl of boiled water with a color that is supposed to pass for coffee is really not acceptable. The coffee at a gas station that is usually not tasty is even better to drink when this bends. Too bad but no more Starbucks.

As I often visit various Starbucks locations, this time I decided to visit Starbucks Library Blaak. After sitting for 15 minutes, I decided to walk over to the bar for a pen or pencil. A Dutch female manager spoke to me at that moment and said she only has a pen or pencil for me if I take a consumption. At that moment I did not know what I was hearing. The manager then also indicated that she had checked everyone in the store for a consumption which at that moment in my opinion was not true, because a customer just happened to take a seat with his laptop. I neatly packed my things and left at that point. What I find strange in this situation is that in many locations you see people working on their laptops. These people can walk into a Starbucks, take a seat and decide to buy something at a later time. In my case, I could have taken a €20.00/€30.00 order after 30 or 45 minutes. I understand that as a restaurant & manager you want to make money, but it is still a strange feeling to treat a customer this way. After being treated like this, I am considering not visiting any Starbucks location. I think it will be totally unnoticeable to Starbucks' statistics that they have 1 less customer!

Coffee and sweets are always good. Very expensive compared to a "normal" coffee or lunch place. There you get service and better coffee for half that amount. Not that the staff can do anything about it because that's just the concept, but it's not my thing.

Just walk away from this shop and find a decent place to get your coffee. They charged me €11.2 for a mocha. I didn’t realise when I was paying but after I paid asked the price for mocha and they said it’s €8. I asked them why they charged me €11.2 and asked them to refund the difference but they said it’s not an option and I can choose to get a drink or a cookie. The young girl at the counter who overcharged me was rude and aggressive. They rip people off and survive because of the location.Such a disgrace to Starbucks's. Also, when ordering my coffee I clearly said no cream but I saw they put cream on top of my coffee. When I said I don’t want cream they made another one. Was wondering how many mistake someone can make in a few seconds while getting a coffee order. To me it was a tiny unpleasant experience but to this store it looks like they are failing. Stop hiring problematic people, you wouldn’t know how much damage they can make to your business.

What antisocial employees who come from the kitchen to throw customers out because they have just finished eating. When you're done, you have to leave immediately. And her tone was very unfriendly. She then goes to another lady and she was allowed to stay seated. Coincidentally, this lady was not of color. Never experienced that in a Starbucks. Definitely not recommended!

How is it possible to serve food and beverages without providing access to a toilet? That’s ridiculous. You open at 10 a.m., but the toilet only becomes available at 1 p.m.? This is unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Around 10:00 in the morning I ordered a Brownie Hot Chocolate. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I have come to expect from Starbucks. The chocolate milk did not look good and was not up to the expected standard. When I reported this to the staff, I received no response or assistance whatsoever. In addition, there were no napkins available. For a drink of €5.60 I expected higher quality and better service.

Cube House and Market Hall are a great place for visitors to take a break.

Unacceptable: no toilets on Sunday because the bookstore is closed. And they don't say it at the entrance: so you pay for your coffee for the toilets and no toilets... Great! Well done Starbucks 👎

Matcha Latte and Cappuccino were way too hot, milk was burnt and you can taste it. The glasses are also very dirty. Don't think this is possible for 6 euros?!?

I would like to buy a coffee at 6:45 PM. I see that it is closed and the lights are off. I think it's special since it says on the website that it closes at 8:00 PM. This is very unfortunate. I now also see that there are a lot of reviews that say it closed earlier, but unfortunately I don't see any changes coming. Is anything really going to be done about this?

On Thursday, October 31, around 3:00 PM, I ordered an iced coffee/frappe. At the beginning, the girl with dark hair put too much iced coffee in the measuring cup for the woman who ordered 5 minutes before me. She gave me the rest, the orders were also ready at the same time, which doesn't make sense if I ordered 5 minutes later. When I took the first sips I tasted some coffee (the leftovers she gave me) but the cup was just 75% filled with whipped cream until half of it was only whipped cream in it. Of course I went back to the blonde woman with glasses and a bit of talent (high calorie person) and the person who made it, a girl with black hair, full lips and quite a bit of make up. I greeted her nicely and told her about the situation and she was already foul-mouthed. I paid €7 for just whipped cream and they are also so antisocial. The day before I bought exactly the same thing and paid the same price and enjoyed it, but this is simply not possible. Really check your measurements for the following people because this is just a scam.

I normally never write reviews because I never find it necessary enough to write one, but in this case I really had to say something. On Thursday, October 31, I went to get a caramel frappe with a friend and to my surprise, half of my cup was filled with whipped cream. I understand that when you start drinking the whipped cream will melt and sink to the bottom, but in this case it was more than 1/2 of my cup filled with whipped cream. When we pointed this out at the counter, the blonde lady with glasses said "you've already drunk half of it" which makes no sense because how else would I notice that more than half of it was filled with whipped cream? I get this iced coffee here often and it is just normal with whipped cream on top as a topping and not as an ingredient. I don't need a new iced coffee, but I do want you to get some service training and pay attention to the measurements because this is really absurd.

There was a slight mistake with my order. Chelsea immediately acknowledged it and prepared for me another coffee. Great customer service!

There was still one more hour of work for this starbucks, but there was already cleaning all around. We had to make our feet wet to come to the cashier. At the same time the cashier was already washing floors there! One hand on the floor, one on my coffee, sound nice and delish, right? There also was almost no place to sit, all tables were up, and another worker was pouring water on the floor. Tbh, it doesn’t seem to me as a good place to sit and drink coffee 👎🥲

They made me check my bank account to see if my order was correct because they forgot to register my order correctly. Stuff rude with customers

It is very dirty in front of cafe and NO toilet inside.

Good location in terms of accessibility. Sometimes I come here to finish some work and then relax by the water. I only have tea, so I can't judge the rest of the menu.

Going inside is the Central Library. Very peaceful place 👍

The food was good, but they only had disposable fork and knife, paper cup and plate. Not sustainable and not good to use as well.

The coffee is just what you are used to, there is nothing wrong with it. Last Saturday there was a girl behind the cash register with an Asian appearance, I think Thai. This was truly the most arrogant and disinterested staff member I have ever seen at a Starbucks and would never come back because of her alone. They would do well to show her the door. There is a lot of dirt in front of the door and the unpleasant smell of urine.

I had nothing but the banana bread I bought from this store this morning. And I got food poisoned.

The ambience and the service were great. Unfortunately, my coffee was completely scalded and therefore extremely bitter. Unfortunately, the barista was more concerned with herself than with the coffee. A pity.

Starbucks, like everywhere else. Fortunately. You know what you're buying and now it tastes the same at every Starbucks. I didn't think the ambience was that great. That's why I ordered my drink to-go.

Clean Starbucks, waitresses a little "cold" but nothing too bad. The cheesecake, cookies and muffins were very good even if they come from a "chain". My companion found the hot chocolate very good and not too sweet. Afterwards it remains a little expensive unfortunately but you pay for the brand.

Got a coffee at this location today and last time. I am a regular customer at Starbuckses in the Netherlands, but this is one of the few that I am really pleased with. I have been helped a few times by the same employee. Floor if I'm not mistaken. I find her very customer friendly, helpful and patient!! I haven't had the opportunity to experience that for a long time, and many can take an example from her. That's why it has now become my regular store. :))

6.50 pm on a Saturday evening. More than an hour before closing time. I came in and there was no one at the counter. There was a young woman sweeping the floor. I made eye contact with her, but she continued sweeping. I waited a few minutes and then approached her and asked her if she could help me. She answered she would be with me in a second. She then continued sweeping the floor and, when she finished, she moved to a different section of the shop and started clearing the tables. I started feeling impatient. I had waited for 10+ min and no one had made an effort to take my order. Poor customer service. I expected better from a Starbucks. I understand being busy and wanting to finish cleaning an area, but you could have communicated this. You could have said (a) "I will be with you as soon as I have finished sweeping this area" or (b) "we are closing, so you cannot order anything anymore" or (c) "my colleague is in the back and will be right with you".

The ambience is great for studying while discussing loudly, the restaurant has several table electric sockets, and the wifi is fast enough

No toilet available to customers because you share the toilet with the library and they’re not open on Sunday morning . Really Starbucks ? That’s the best you can do? I’ll be going to Bagel and Beans next time. Thanks

I've been here several times now and everytime I have to wait several minutes to even be acknowledged although I'm the first customer in line, as the staff is busy cleaning or chatting. Location is quite good though and there's usually seating available

It was not busy so we expected a fast service, but the cashier was not present although two other servers were preparing the coffees. None of them wanted to look at us or even call the cashier. After the order, we got out coffee, but the they forgot to give us the cake. Again the cashier was gone and none of the servers was willing to ask us why are you still in front of the us! In the end another person came to the cashier and give us the cake.

Het mag wel iets meer van harte en met een glimlach en dat je gewaardeerd wordt zeg maar. Ik voelde me bijna teveel. Die jongen achter de bar was eigenlijk gewoon strontchagrijnig, hij zei niet eens bedankt of tot ziens

Fijn zitten in de centrale bieb ilnaadt de markthal. De matcha frappe was lekker de matcha latte iets minder.

Ik vroeg om een chocolate Frappuccino, deze staat standaard op het menu. Dat leek ze niet te kennen dus maakte ze er mokka van. Ik vroeg of er de helft van de koffie in kon, als regelmatige Starbucks ganger is dit nooit een probleem geweest. Nu kreeg ik een moeilijke blik en de comment dat er al niet veel in zat. Ze gaf vervolgens aan haar collega door dat er minder ‘frap’ in moest. Het maken van het drankje ging erg snel, dus dat was fijn. Vervolgens had ik een drankje dat erg dik was en erg moeilijk door het rietje te drinken was. Er zat vrijwel geen smaak aan. Erg jammer aangezien het bij andere vestigingen wel altijd goed gaat..

Nette zaak gelegen in de bibliotheek, dus in alle rust genieten.

vandaag echt goed geholpen door twee kanjers Nigel en Marit!🌞 ze maken de hele sfeer in de shop fantastisch! erg gezellig onderling & nemen alle tijd voor de gasten! ik kon proeven dat mijn drankje met liefde gemaakt was.

Why is starbucks coffee so diluted! Not worth it for the amount we pay.

We waren hier begin van de avond. Weinig personeel en de zaak maakte een beetje smoezelige indruk.

Goed plek om te studeren. Wel een beetje overpriced...

Prima ervaring super lief personeel erg vriendelijk.

Fijne Starbucks om je koffie te halen als je in de bieb moet zijn, op de markt of zoals ik vandaag op de trein stapt bij station Blaak. Vriendelijk personeel en ik werd snel geholpen.

Super aardige medewerker, heerlijk om te studeren

Op 05/03/2023 2 keer binnen geweest, 1ste keer stonden er 5 klanten voor mij maar ik stond zeker al 15 min in de rij. Personeel ziet er ongemotiveerd uit en werkt erg langzaam. Ik ben daarom maar uit de rij gegaan en weggelopen. Nu ben ik de beroerdste niet en ben toch nog een keer naar binnen gegaan, dit keer ging de rij iets sneller. De mevrouw achter de kassa was de enigste die erg aardig was en zin had om te werken, de rest van het personeel was nog steeds langzaam en ongeïnteresseerd. Geen naam opnoemen bij het uitgeven van het drankje of een thank u, niet echt het Starbucks gevoel dat ik normaal gewend ben. Ook stond de manager of shiftmanager met koptelefoon op achter de bar te werken, niet echt professioneel. Ik heb in mijn leven al veel Starbucksen bezocht maar dit is de eerste, waar ik mijn geld niet nog een keer ga uitgeven. Het drinken was ook niet volgens de normale receptuur, de frappochino smaakte meer naar ijs dan naar een smaakje. Jammer dat je hier niet echt het Starbucks gevoel krijgt.

El lugar esta céntrico, así que se ve lleno de clientes, la atención fue buena y rápida. El café normal, algo excesivo el precio, así como el resto de consumibles. El lugar esta limpio.

Sehr leckerer Oat-Kaffee in einer tollen location mit besonderem Ausblick. Sehr nette Bedienungen und man bekommt die "Niederlande"-Starbucks-Tasse....:-)

Busy as heck but as Starbucks goes this is one of the fairly good ones.
