Extremely poor service. There are two women and one man behind the counter. The man has his hair down, which is absolutely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. It's incredibly disgusting when someone hangs over the coffee/cappuccino with their hair blowing in the wind. They could really learn something about HACCP. Furthermore, the staff doesn't speak in two words, making them come across as very unfriendly and rude when they simply throw or shove your order at you without even smiling, which really makes you feel like you won't be coming back. Simply a missed opportunity. I also don't think this can always be dismissed as a "staff shortage."

We were lucky, the cakes and coffee specialties were all top-notch, and the service and speed were excellent. Speed ​​isn't usually Starbucks' strong suit.

Today I had a less than pleasant experience at Starbucks. The cashier wasn't friendly and didn't smile when she helped us. When my order was ready, she simply placed it next to the register without saying anything or calling my name. Too bad, I expected more friendliness from Starbucks.

For a White Chocolate Venti Mocha with whipped cream: exactly like in Canada! Same taste, same temperature. I spoke in English with the young man, who answered my questions courteously and even freshly brewed my coffee. He offered me the loyalty card even though I'm leaving soon, but it's a full A1 service.

The staff doesn't understand Dutch, orders are constantly wrong, and the wait times are ridiculously long. My cappuccino was wrong four times, and I was laughed at afterward. Unacceptable, disrespectful, and absolutely not recommended. With such incompetent staff, you should probably close the place down.

I went here on September 17th around 5pm, but others and I were sent away without any explanation and no one could order anything, even though the store was officially open until 8pm.

Poor communication. Too much varying information on the information boards. No additional explanation or options were given. None of the staff seemed particularly interested. All the tables were crammed together. Not very clean, and when drinks spilled, we had to clean it ourselves. So not very hygienic.

Starbucks is a place you always want to come back to. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly and happy to help you choose a drink. The coffee is top quality - especially the caramel macchiato and the seasonal specials are my favorites. It is also super convenient that you can take your drink with you or work quietly on your laptop in a relaxed environment. Everything is always clean, the service is fast and there is a wide selection of tasty snacks. Definitely recommended! ☕✨

The cake and drinks were very good. However, the service was a complete disaster. At first I wasn't even asked how I wanted my matcha, I was just waved straight through, but it was good. The pancakes were served to us dry and when I asked for chocolate they gave it out in annoyance. The store looked terrible, there was food everywhere on the tables and chairs. The employees preferred to go smoke or make small talk. Chairs were scattered around the area. You have to look for service that is zero cleanliness.

Opening hours are unreliable. When you Google it and the sign outside says they open at 8:00, meanwhile, employees are smoking outside at 8:00 and inform you they won't open until 8:30.

Got coffee there but there was too much coffee in the cup and I couldn't finish it, I understand that Starbucks is from the USA but that's not me, I would have preferred if there was a small coffee because then I could still finish it I'm not going back here again

Quite a small Starbucks though not the smallest Ive ever seen. The staff here have always been nothing but kind to me. The few times there was something wrong with my drink they fixed it right away. I will continue to visit this location

Nice place to get a coffee when you are in the Center. Great staff, even better service and even attention to the dog. All in all, a wonderful place to crash for a cup of cappuccino

Now, after frequenting this Starbucks 4-5 times a week for the past 6-8 months, I've witnessed an incredible transformation. The balance of espresso to milk and chocolate was perfect, the mocha drizzle artfully applied. I could taste the pride he took in his work, and it made the coffee all the sweeter. There have been hiccups along the way, of course. I recall a particularly busy Saturday when the line stretched out the door. The staffs was clearly overwhelmed, and drinks were coming out slower than usual. Instead of complaining, I watched as customers engaged with each other, striking up conversations and sharing stories. It was in that moment I realized that this Starbucks was becoming more than just a coffee shop - it was becoming a community hub. As I sit here writing this review, sipping on a perfectly made iced chocolate hazelnut cappuccino (kudos to Nareg, who's mastered the art of microfoam), I can't help but feel grateful. Yesterday I got two caramel frappucino and an iced white choc/pistachio. While waiting in front of the cash register, I saw several flies having a party in the closed pastry display case. The employee took some out and did nothing about the flies. The drinks were ready quickly. However... It was really lame! A cup of crushed ice with a hint of flavor and a dollop of whipped cream and a dollop of caramel sauce (frap.) and also a very watery experience with the other drinks. I've had the frappucino at many Starbucks, always delicious, but this really didn't seem like it. Almost €18 for three cups of ice cubes.... Not for me anymore.

We went there and ordered Frappucino. The employee at the checkout was very helpful and friendly and pointed out to us in English an offer with which we could get a free pack of coffee. We used it straight away. Despite the good business, the gentleman took time for us and at the end even gave me a piece of cake to try 🥰🍰

This place is dirty! All tables have not been cleared and the toilet is completely dirty. I don't know how often the toilet, tables and seats are checked. It is very quiet here at the moment, but still dirty and the employees are all chatting.

Never ever, the baddest Coffee in the World, in Germany & Nederland are the same, taste like Water from the Station Toilet, terrible !!!!. For that big Company it was a Shame. Try the "Douwe Egberts Coffee" or something like that, for an Example. The only positive Thing was the Team from the Starbucks, nice, crazy and friendly.

A chain with such a well-known name should match its service and status. And I want to say that I know a lot about coffee. So I have never had such a disgusting coffee in my life. There was no taste at all. It tastes like junk. It was horrible. If you want to talk to your friends and drink coffee and they bring you this incomprehensible liquid, then the whole mood changes and drops to zero. It's nice that there is now a Starbucks in Enschede. My first visit was fine, we had a nice place to sit. Friendly staff. I noticed that some work still needed to be done. The next visit was slightly less. Didn't have to wait long, but all self-service in terms of napkins, toppings, etc. was gone. Tables were also not very clean. I would avoid the table next to the toilets. 😉

Horrible horrible experience, especially when the underpaid & overexploited staff are forced to deal with tourists. Coffee is too expensive and tastes generic, what else to expect from Starbucks. Location is too small too. People were lovely but that's not the point.

One of the worst Starbucks I visited. They seem to be way understaffed. Too much people cramped up in a small outlet. And ba design of store. I feel very sorry for the staff. I visited 27.1. The guy behind the cashier was so nice & friendly! The iced latte unfortunately tasted like nothing but cold milk. I will try it out again because the service was so nice. Perfect location. Service was also fast even when it was on a Saturday and very busy.

Delicious drinks & great that there is now a location in the center! Still quite expensive (but that's Starbucks) and when it's busy you can expect to wait a while. It doesn't help that not all of the staff can speak Dutch and that they ask everyone for a name for the cup... which they then have to repeat three times to understand it properly and write it down. I will definitely visit more often, but only when it is quiet.

Eindelijk een Starbucks in het centrum van Enschede. Deze Starbucks is compact maar heeft genoeg zitplekken: hoge tafels met hoge stoelen en lage tafeltjes met lage stoelen en banken. Bij beiden zijn een aantal stopcontacten, handig als je hier wilt werken of studeren. Vandaag was de openingsdag en hoewel er veel mensen waren, was ik snel aan de beurt en was mijn koffie ook snel klaar. In vergelijk met een "normale koffie" in een restaurant, is een koffie van Starbucks vrij prijzig (€5,05 voor een kleine gingerbread latte zonder slagroom) maar als je bekend bent met Starbucks weet je dat dit de prijzen zijn. Bovendien erg lekker!
