Having a coffee there outdoors in this nice square is enjoyable. The Service, in particular, the Brazilian Palmeirense Waitress, are very kind.

We ordered two hot drinks, but were not given a cardboard sleeve to hold the cups. Normally, such a protective sleeve should be available for hot drinks so that you can hold the cup safely without burning your hands. Quite strange for Starbucks. I hope the staff pays better attention to this in the future and adheres to the safety guidelines.

We got a Refresher, new cherry pomegranate flavor. Sickly sweet, used way too much syrup, and it looks like nothing for €7 apiece.

Worst Starbucks in the world, in my opinion. The coffee tastes weird, and the snacks seem old. In general, Starbucks in the Netherlands is undrinkable and very bad. But this branch is really bad; it doesn't look very clean inside either.

I am leaving this review because I have seen all negative reviews and my experience was quite good. Is it a 5-star place? No Is it a fine place to get something nice to drink (and eat)? Yes!

I was at Starbucks today and was refused access to the restroom. I even offered to pay extra. Still no. Absolutely unacceptable, inhumane, and antisocial. That store manager is really a mess. I always show my schedule from my university as proof that I'm a student for the student discount to his colleagues. He said it's not possible for the student discount. There is also one guy working who literally makes the drinks wrong EVERY. SINGLE. TIME... I used to work in Starbucks as well, actually in one of the most busiest in Germany. These people can't handle pressure at all as it seems and it's not even that busy there today. They can't follow standards. Next time I'll offer them to do my drink myself, so they can watch over my shoulder and learn, because the store manager is not able to teach them the recipes properly. Customer Service is also not included in his mindset. The demanded "Studentcard" can also be copied and is also no valid proof of being a student. Just hand out the drinks discounted when you see any "proof" that the customer might be a student. The district manager won't pet your back if you follow stupid rules, but the customers might come back if your service is good, which contributes to your target sales in the long run and therefore you might achieve your bonus.

You order a refresher without ice and then get half a cup full, while the other half is just empty. You pay for a large cup and get this. The staff mentions that they prefer us to have it with ice because it supposedly wouldn't taste good without it; by the way, it tastes exactly the same.

I ordered a venti strawberry acai for 6 euros without ice because I didn't want half a cup of ice. They just gave me a half-filled one and said they couldn't do anything else, but at other Starbucks shops you just get one filled to the top without ice. The drink is really sour and undrinkable. The toilet was a big mess and downright filthy; the hot chocolate with whipped cream was actually more like water with chocolate flavor in a cardboard cup while we drank it there. If this is the standard at Starbucks, then this was the first and last time at Starbucks.

I was in Enschede today and asked the employee if I could use the restroom, as I'm nine months pregnant. She refused! The employee claimed I needed a code from the receipt. From a human perspective, this is simply unfair, as you can't deny a heavily pregnant woman access to the restroom! I will never go there again to buy anything...

We went here for a drink. The staff is friendly, and you get your order quickly. This branch is small, and the decor is very plain, but it is clean.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this coffee place. After paying for my order, I asked to use the restroom like they told me I could. When I tried to go in, it was locked and apparently needed some kind of code that no one even bothered to give me. Then, out of nowhere, a guy from behind the counter started yelling at me and acting incredibly arrogant, claiming the restroom was only for paying customers even though I had literally just paid. The attitude was completely unnecessary and unbelievably rude. There’s no excuse for treating customers like that. It costs nothing to speak to people politely, but clearly basic decency isn’t a thing here. The staff were hostile and disrespectful, and it honestly ruined the whole visit. I will never come back and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The staff doesn't speak Dutch and seems rather disinterested. Otherwise, the drinks were good. They were ready very quickly, and I certainly didn't have to wait long.

The toilet was broken (I read in the reviews that this was also the case a month ago?), and there were no lids left to take your order with you. So, we had to drink it there. Otherwise, it was fine.

I was kindly helped by a friendly barista with brown hair and braids—kudos to you. Let me just say, I wouldn't want to be there. There was another man behind the counter, a slightly older man. Unfortunately, he was very unfriendly and unprofessional.

I had a terrible experience here. I desperately needed to use the restroom, and I was refused entry because, according to the manager, many German tourists used the restrooms there. Surely you could put up a sign stating that a restroom visit without a drink costs 50 cents, but no, just lock the door and refuse to let your customers use the restroom. And then the staff is incredibly rude. I think if you're serving drinks somewhere, you should at least let your paying customers use the restroom!

Extremely poor service. There are two women and one man behind the counter. The man has his hair down, which is absolutely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. It's incredibly disgusting when someone hangs over the coffee/cappuccino with their hair blowing in the wind. They could really learn something about HACCP. For a White Chocolate Venti Mocha with whipped cream: exactly like in Canada! Same taste, same temperature. I spoke in English with the young man, who answered my questions courteously and even freshly brewed my coffee. He offered me the loyalty card even though I'm leaving soon, but it's a full A1 service.

The staff doesn't understand Dutch, orders are constantly wrong, and the wait times are ridiculously long. My cappuccino was wrong four times, and I was laughed at afterward. Unacceptable, disrespectful, and absolutely not recommended. With such incompetent staff, you should probably close the place down.

Poor communication. Too much varying information on the information boards. No additional explanation or options were given. None of the staff seemed particularly interested. All the tables were crammed together. Not very clean, and when drinks spilled, we had to clean it ourselves. So not very hygienic.

Starbucks is a place you always want to come back to. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly and happy to help you choose a drink. The coffee is top quality - especially the caramel macchiato and the seasonal specials are my favorites. It is also super convenient that you can take your drink with you or work quietly on your laptop in a relaxed environment. Everything is always clean, the service is fast and there is a wide selection of tasty snacks. Definitely recommended! ☕✨

The server is really unbearable

The cake and drinks were very good. However, the service was a complete disaster. At first I wasn't even asked how I wanted my matcha, I was just waved straight through, but it was good. The pancakes were served to us dry and when I asked for chocolate they gave it out in annoyance. The store looked terrible, there was food everywhere on the tables and chairs. The employees preferred to go smoke or make small talk. Chairs were scattered around the area. You have to look for service that is zero cleanliness.

Opening hours are unreliable. When you Google it and the sign outside says they open at 8:00, meanwhile, employees are smoking outside at 8:00 and inform you they won't open until 8:30.

Yesterday I got two caramel frappucino and an iced white choc/pistachio. While waiting in front of the cash register, I saw several flies having a party in the closed pastry display case. The employee took some out and did nothing about the flies. The drinks were ready quickly. However... It was really lame! A cup of crushed ice with a hint of flavor and a dollop of whipped cream and a dollop of caramel sauce (frap.) and also a very watery experience with the other drinks. I've had the frappucino at many Starbucks, always delicious, but this really didn't seem like it. Almost €18 for three cups of ice cubes.... Not for me anymore.

We went there and ordered Frappucino. The employee at the checkout was very helpful and friendly and pointed out to us in English an offer with which we could get a free pack of coffee. This place is dirty! All tables have not been cleared and the toilet is completely dirty. I don't know how often the toilet, tables and seats are checked. It is very quiet here at the moment, but still dirty and the employees are all chatting.

Never ever, the baddest Coffee in the World, in Germany & Nederland are the same, taste like Water from the Station Toilet, terrible !!!!. For that big Company it was a Shame. Try the "Douwe Egberts Coffee" or something like that, for an Example. The only positive Thing was the Team from the Starbucks, nice, crazy and friendly.

A chain with such a well-known name should match its service and status. And I want to say that I know a lot about coffee. So I have never had such a disgusting coffee in my life. There was no taste at all. It tastes like junk. It was horrible. If you want to talk to your friends and drink coffee and they bring you this incomprehensible liquid, then the whole mood changes and drops to zero. And when you consider that the price of coffee there is not cheap, it is even more disappointing. I WILL NEVER DRINK COFFEE THERE AGAIN.

It's nice that there is now a Starbucks in Enschede. My first visit was fine, we had a nice place to sit. Friendly staff. I noticed that some work still needed to be done. The next visit was slightly less. Didn't have to wait long, but all self-service in terms of napkins, toppings, etc. was gone. Tables were also not very clean. I would avoid the table next to the toilets. 😉

Horrible horrible experience, especially when the underpaid & overexploited staff are forced to deal with tourists. Coffee is too expensive and tastes generic, what else to expect from Starbucks. Location is too small too. People were lovely but that's not the point.

I always bring my own cup, but although this is a 16 oz size, I usually prefer a small latte and indicate this, but often a grande is still ordered, so you pay €6 for your coffee. They really taste more than fine!

One of the worst Starbucks I visited. They seem to be way understaffed. Too much people cramped up in a small outlet. And ba design of store. I feel very sorry for the staff. I visited 27.1. The guy behind the cashier was so nice & friendly! The iced latte unfortunately tasted like nothing but cold milk. I will try it out again because the service was so nice. Perfect location. Service was also fast even when it was on a Saturday and very busy.

Delicious drinks & great that there is now a location in the center! Still quite expensive (but that's Starbucks) and when it's busy you can expect to wait a while. It doesn't help that not all of the staff can speak Dutch and that they ask everyone for a name for the cup... which they then have to repeat three times to understand it properly and write it down. I will definitely visit more often, but only when it is quiet.
