Delicious beef tenderloin, super tender, the sirloin was also tasty.

Very good quality of steak. Have a dinner with my son today, knew this restaurant from goggle , and we drove from Veldhoven here. My son ordered Rib-eye steak and I had T-Bone steak, both are very nice with French fries and small salad. I will certainly visit again with my wife (unfortunately she is not available today!)

The scampi were good. The carpaccio was disappointing; it was frozen quality from a wholesaler, whereas you would expect a bit more at a steakhouse. The mixed grill was mediocre, both in terms of taste and portion size; the piece of lamb was on the small side. Fanta Zero is listed on the menu but is not served; only after you ask for it (because regular Fanta is served) does the wait staff indicate that they don't have it. Otherwise, the service was friendly.

I went out for dinner with my girlfriend at this restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was the first thing that stood out: nice decor, plenty of seating, and a chic look suitable for both a romantic dinner and a friendly gathering. The restaurant invites you to enjoy yourself, both inside and out. We had a host who welcomed us warmly and kindly, bringing plenty of humor and good service. We were helped quickly, well, and kindly throughout the evening, and the host ensured a welcoming feeling and pleasant conversations, without being overly boisterous. Service like this is rare in restaurants. My compliments to this host. The food was also very good in almost every aspect. My girlfriend had the calamari, which was a bit tough, but apart from that, everything else was fresh, tasty, and very well prepared. I had the spicy scampi, rib eye, and the tiramisu for dessert. All dishes were prepared excellently to our liking and were particularly delicious. The scampi sauce was unique and delicious; highly recommended. The rib eye was also excellent; we ordered medium and it was cooked perfectly. The tiramisu was recommended to me, and it was also excellent, fresh, and particularly tasty. The prices are very reasonable for the size of the dishes and the excellent quality. In short: this restaurant is worth a visit if you haven't been here before!

Staff was super friendly and grilled ossenhaas was perfectly done. Side veggies were a bit "sad"... But the broodje met kruidenboter was grilled and also the kruidenboter was weirdly tasty and satisfying. It felt like on the service side there was still something to fix but they were genuine and trying to do their best... And that is OK :-)

The service was friendly, the new guy still had a lot to learn (dropping a glass, serving with his thumb in the glass). The starter was tasty, but the main course steak was inedible; almost impossible to cut, so tough let alone chew. Neither of us ate any of it. We pointed this out to the wait staff, who understood, but nothing further was done about it. This steakhouse is definitely not worth a repeat visit.

We ate here tonight: 2 adults and 3 children aged 6, 8, and 11. We arrived on time (5:15 PM). It was still quiet, so we were served quickly and well with food and drinks. From 7 PM onwards, it got busier and the staff couldn't keep up. Consequently, the table next to us left without having had anything to drink or eat. We had already finished eating by then. The food tasted delicious and the portions were fine too!

Delicious dishes of very good quality and freshness. Friendly service. At the top of our list are the fantastic spare ribs. The taste of the grill and the meat was superb; we have had many different spare ribs before, but these are number 1.

The tomato soup was truly freshly made with a rich tomato flavor, served with toasted baguettes and butter. For the main course, we had the sweet spareribs. These were very good, tender in taste, and freshly prepared on the charcoal BBQ, served with warm vegetables, a side salad, and Belgian fries. Looking for a steakhouse, we stumbled upon De Pijp thanks to the good reviews. We received a warm welcome and, after our order was taken, a delicious bruschetta on the house. The beef carpaccio as a starter was a delight to the taste buds. For our main course, we had the T-bone steak and the sweet spareribs, both incredibly tender. The steak knife sliced ​​smoothly through the T-bone, and the cherry wood-smoked spareribs fell right off the bone. Truly top-notch quality at an affordable price. The only minor drawback was the ambiance. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, but we missed the authentic steakhouse touches.

Disappointing experience, unfortunately We had quite high expectations for this restaurant because of its lovely location, but unfortunately, our visit was quite disappointing. Upon entering, we were immediately unpleasantly surprised by a foul odor and the oppressive heat. On a hot day like today, it was truly unbearable inside—no air conditioning or ventilation seemed to be working. The staff was friendly, it must be said, and even offered us a free drink on the house. But otherwise, the service left much to be desired. After initially asking what we wanted to drink upon arrival, no one came to our table to ask again. Also, they didn't ask how I wanted my tenderloin cooked—something you might expect with a dish like this. After a 75-minute wait, the food finally arrived, but unfortunately without the pepper sauce I ordered. The fries were partly well-cooked and partly still limp and pale, as if unfinished. The tenderloin itself was thankfully tender, but otherwise bland and plain. All in all, a disappointing experience. Despite the friendly service and the nice location, I wouldn't rush back unless there are significant improvements in service, temperature, and kitchen quality.

I love the food! Aparently dining out in the Netherlands is at the pricier side but you definitely get MORE than what you pay for at the Steakhouse de Pijp! Delicious food and very reasonable price. Service was GREAT! Really appreciate the waitress, the cook and the owner ( I guess) to serve us right before the cook got off from work. We were stuck with traffic and so lucky that we found this place! The pawns I ordered were very fresh and flavorful. I also love the fact that it has curly fries and the deep fry was so on point! The portion was so big so I did not get to try the desserts.
