Steakhouse de Pijp in Eersel

Visited with children on a Friday evening during the summer holidays. Online reservations are helpful. Varied menu, food was excellent.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for our food. Once served, the meat was dry. Definitely not what we expected from a steakhouse. Friendly and helpful staff, but they were too busy.

OMG! This is by far one of the best stakes I've ever had in my life! Excellent, medium to rare, so tender and delicious meat. Beautifully smooth peppercorn sauce! Highly recommended!

Disappointing experience, unfortunately We had quite high expectations for this restaurant because of its lovely location, but unfortunately, our visit was quite disappointing. Upon entering, we were immediately unpleasantly surprised by a foul odor and the oppressive heat. On a hot day like today, it was truly unbearable inside—no air conditioning or ventilation seemed to be working. The staff was friendly, it must be said, and even offered us a free drink on the house. But otherwise, the service left much to be desired. After initially asking what we wanted to drink upon arrival, no one came to our table to ask again. Also, they didn't ask how I wanted my tenderloin cooked—something you might expect with a dish like this. After a 75-minute wait, the food finally arrived, but unfortunately without the pepper sauce I ordered. The fries were partly well-cooked and partly still limp and pale, as if unfinished. The tenderloin itself was thankfully tender, but otherwise bland and plain. All in all, a disappointing experience. Despite the friendly service and the nice location, I wouldn't rush back unless there are significant improvements in service, temperature, and kitchen quality.

During our vacation, we were looking for a nice restaurant nearby, and we're so glad we found this one! When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is wonderful, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was truly delicious. Highly recommended!

We were there for dinner yesterday. It was really, really tasty and the staff were super nice. There was even a greeting from the kitchen, and we were very enthusiastic about everything. If we come back to Holland, especially if we vacation in Ter Sebenet, we will definitely come back here.

I love the food! Aparently dining out in the Netherlands is at the pricier side but you definitely get MORE than what you pay for at the Steakhouse de Pijp! Delicious food and very reasonable price. Service was GREAT! Really appreciate the waitress, the cook and the owner ( I guess) to serve us right before the cook got off from work. We were stuck with traffic and so lucky that we found this place! The pawns I ordered were very fresh and flavorful. I also love the fact that it has curly fries and the deep fry was so on point! The portion was so big so I did not get to try the desserts.

Being served with a smile and personal attention is a rarity, but here it was top notch.

Steak was good. Mixed grill especially meat that is too fatty! Taste perfectly fine. Atmosphere, yuck, daycare. Too many babies and 2 ladies that stink of smoke. Not from me anytime soon. De Bengel serves equally delicious steak.

What a nice restaurant this is with service that is no longer standard these days. A super sweet owner and excellent steak! The little ones have also been thought of. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

The restaurant looks good inside from what we saw. Due to the weather we sat outside and the staff knew about this. We were immediately asked for something to drink and it was quickly brought. After 20 minutes someone else finally came to give us the map. Some time later we were asked what we wanted and placed our order. After exactly 30 minutes, our appetizer (bread with herb butter) had not yet arrived and they came to ask if we had already had it. We then said that we wanted the main course with the bread. Since we have been waiting for a long time. After waiting another 20 to 25 minutes, our food finally arrived. The food was good but the service for us was very poor. Unfortunately for us, never again.

Nice meal. Operation could be a bit smoother. We had to ask for bread in advance several times, glasses were empty on the table next to us for at least half an hour (!) and wine from the menu turned out to be out of stock. Worth a second chance when we are in the area again.

The owner of this restaurant gets it! You feel very welcome and recognized us immediately the 2nd time. Very friendly man, the food is also tasty, so what more could you want? If we are in the area we will definitely eat here again (they also have a shawarma place right next to it and that was the tastiest shawarma I have eaten in a long time).

We came across this restaurant from Google Maps during our holiday at Landal Het Vennebos. Delicious food and the service was extremely friendly! Recommended if you are around here. 🙂

Surprise find while out late on a road trip with friends. Generous portions and fantastic ribs that were so perfectly soft that the meat practically fell off the bone. The fries were crunchy and delicious too.

Coincidentally, I had something to eat here late in the evening with a bunch of friends. We received a super friendly welcome and we all enjoyed tender meat and generous portions. Definitely worth repeating if we are in the area again.

Had dinner here with a colleague tonight. Absolutely great! Food very good and waitress fast and friendly.

I'm not one for reviews, but I still wanted to say that this restaurant is by far the worst restaurant I have eaten at in the last 10 years. The food was dry, satay sauce was like satay juice and the cook did not seem nice and was not wearing chef's clothes. The girl at the counter did her best, which is why she gave it 2 stars.

Had a delicious meal tonight with my wife, daughter and in-laws. Super nice owner and the food was very good. Scampis as a starter and tenderloin as a main course. The Mix Grill was also sublime with spare ribs where the tender meat falls right off. My daughter had the spaghetti bolognese and tiramisu. Almost everything gone! She liked it that much. Definitely recommended to eat here.

Had a delicious meal yesterday, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly and well at the table. Details regarding allergies were neatly noted and verified in case of doubt. Both the starters and main courses were of good quality. We had a very good meal with 5 people and had a pleasant evening. A special feature of the evening was the table next to us. These people ate half the main course and then complained that something was wrong. The steak was said to be overcooked even though medium was requested. The staff, including the owner who was brought in, tried to help people as best as possible by making the main course again and it was again found to be unsatisfactory by the same person. People then started threatening with bad reviews if they had to pay for the half-eaten dishes. The owner handled it nicely and they did not have to pay for the dishes that were not good (3 out of 5). Very sorry to read that this man still left a bad review even though he was helped very nicely.

Yesterday evening we had dinner at De Pijp with a group of friends. All 5 of us ate a different starter and main course and everything was delicious! Next to us was a table of incredibly unkempt people. These were complaining that their food was not good. A gentleman had steak and when half his plate was empty he suddenly said it was not cooked properly. Then we got the steak again, but again it was not good. They were antisocial towards staff and the boss. Boss eventually resolved it very nicely, but they still wrote an annoying review. We would like to let you know that we had a delicious meal and that the staff and boss were very friendly! When we had finished eating and the place was about to close, we even got a round from the boss and had a nice chat with the staff. We will definitely come back here again!

Had a delicious meal here with friends last night. Good fast service, staff were friendly and food was really tasty. 5 different main dishes and they were all good! We did have special guests sitting next to us who were very rude. They ate half their meat and then complained about it. As a result, they have been given new food twice and it was still not good. Except for the children's food, they ate everything. The beer was not good, but we saw that the whiskey was delicious. They threatened bad reviews and were very rude to say the least. The owner treated them nicely and charged for 2 of the 5 dishes. It's a shame that there are people who take advantage of someone else's kindness and still write bad reviews. But judging by the name and his multiple reviews, he is turning this into a game. We highly recommend the pipe and we certainly had a nice evening with delicious food and nice staff!!

Unfortunately, my review was removed again, only even more honest. Everything was bad, really terrible. I don't understand the good reviews. The quality of the meat was bad, the food was cold and 2 people had food poisoning. Everything was scandalous beer without carbon dioxide, fries were soft and cold, the sauce was more like a soup and everything was either well done or completely raw, absolutely terrible. And especially that my first review was removed is not normal

The treatment was great, they were attentive to the table the entire time. The food dishes were abundant, we ordered chicken wings, steak and Grill mix, all dishes accompanied by fries, vegetables and salad. The spectacular flavors, you can notice the freshness of the food. We also tried the spicy shrimp 🤤. Finally we decided to try the homemade dessert, Tiramisu and it also surprised us. The bill was €40 per person, including 2 drinks per person and a dessert. It would improve the thermal insulation, the truth is that although they sat us next to the heater, we were cold.

Had a fantastic meal last night at 'de Pijp' in Eersel 👌 Delicious grilled steak, each with a basket of fries and fresh vegetables with potatoes from the oven, all very generous portions. Friendly service and the owner is also a very nice man with a heart for his business. We are fans! ❣

We zijn hier met kerstavond gaan eten, maar afgaande op de andere reviews was ik vol verwachting. Echter vond ik de algehele ervaring middelmatig. Het eten was zeker niet slecht maar niet wat ik bij n steakhouse met 4.7/5 sterren verwacht. Dan verwacht ik super malse stukken vlees van een mooi ras. De zalm en de entrecote waren gewoon goed, de ossenhaas van mijn dochter vond ik erg droog en vrij weinig smaak. De T-bone steak was geen 500 gram en ik moest er nog behoorlijk wat van af snijden. Ook vind ik het vreemd dat personeel in een jogging broek en trui rondloopt. Al met al wel voldoende.

Heel vriendelijk personeel en het eten is heerlijk!

Vandaag het ware genoegen gehad om hier te gaan eten. Was onze 1e keer hier. Met ons viertjes super vriendelijk ontvangen door een ware gastheer. We werden werkelijk in de watten gelegd. Het ontbrak ons aan niets. Normaal heb ik met mijn horeca verleden heus wel iets op of aan de merken, maar nee nu dus niet! Als we ooit weer in de buurt zijn komen we zeker weer eens aan. Beste mensen in op en rondom Eersel ga hier eten tis echt de moeite waard!!!

Echt zo ontzettend lekker!!! Wij gaan zeker terug komen!!

Paar keer heeerlijk gegeten met de collega’s tijdens vergaderingen. De spareribs en steak, maar ook de voor- en visgerechten zijn onwijs smaakvol. Het zijn grote porties en de bediening is erg vriendelijk en betrokken. Kortom: zeker een aanrader!

Echt lekker gegeten in een ontspannen sfeer, in het vooraf is de carpaccio aan te bevelen. Als hoofdgerecht de steak en de heerlijk zoete spareribs. Vriendelijke bediening. Groetjes van Baby Olivia.

On holiday at TerSpegelt from the UK and we were a large group of 12 people looking for somewhere outside of the camping to try and found this. The staff were amazing and very patient with our 4 crazy, very hyperactive and tired children. The food was simply amazing, portions were decent and very tasty. Highly recommended whether you're a local or just visiting.

Sommige dingen lopen nog niet helemaal lekker, maar dit kwam dan ook mede door personeelstekort op die avond... Dat door de vingers te zien was het eten helemaal top! Absolute aanrader voor mij de Jack daniels spare-ribs! Verder echt goed te doen en voor herhaling vatbaar!! Ga zo door💪👍
