I think this restaurant's line of thinking seems to be that when you charge high prices for food and drinks, guests automatically assume that the quality must be high as well. Unfortunately, that is not the case in practice.

The old Wilma & Alberts, where we had been going for 20 years, absolutely deserved 5 stars. The old atmosphere is gone. We sat with 4 people at a table that was far too small. The serving staff were very clumsy trying to get everything on the table; it was truly crammed full. The guests at the table next to us were practically sitting on our laps. The door was open the whole time, causing us to sit in a terrible draft; we pointed this out to the staff several times. We and the guests next to us were so bothered by this that we left within an hour and went elsewhere for dessert. The meat was fine, but it was a disappointment that the Cafe de Paris was served as a slice and not as a sauce as before. The baby potatoes were incredibly greasy; butter was dripping off them. The menu had been drastically shortened, with only 4 desserts. Unfortunately, it is not what it used to be!

Nice place, really; it all looks very polished. The acoustics could be better. The staff is great, especially Jasper (? ) – very sweet! Had a delicious meal; the beautiful T-bone was cooked just right… the tenderloin part was fantastic! with delicious sauces (garlic jus mmmm) and side dishes. Salmon starter, delicious but on the small side. As far as I'm concerned, you could just serve the bread basket with herb butter (€7) on the side…. Otherwise, really top-notch. We will definitely drop by again! Had a very pleasant evening.

Had a wonderful evening. Yesterday, together with two colleagues, we ate here for the first time since the renovation. Not only does it look fantastic, but you are spoiled here with good, honest food and very professional service. For starters, we all enjoyed a delicious feast on the large tiger prawns, the Pardron peppers, and the charcuterie, accompanied by a lovely bottle of Silentio de Miros (Ribera del Duero). For the main course, we had a beautiful piece of Japanese beef tenderloin weighing over 800 grams. This was accompanied by grilled baby carrots and pointed cabbage, and of course, delicious fries. We drank a Barolo Gianetto with this. Afterwards, we shared the cheese selection, the crème brûlée, and the Haarlemmer Halletjes. Excellent! The wait staff had a tough time. Unfortunately, there were a few sick people, and David A., David W., and Siena had to handle practically the entire service with just the three of them. Despite this, they kept smiling, friendly, and very professional. Special compliments to them! It is highly recommended to go here.

Time to dine in the completely renovated restaurant. Well done, because the building really needed updating. The food was fantastic again. The service was perfect. And the atmosphere wasn't just at our table. It's wonderful to see that other people are also enjoying a good piece of meat. Any comments or criticisms? Well, anyone can come up with something. For a steakhouse, I was disappointed with the meat portions. From what I saw passing by—a wooden board with large pieces of meat—I got the impression that I had made a wrong choice, and perhaps the wait staff could place a bit more emphasis on the basic content of the Steakhouse. Now I feel like I missed out on something.

I would serve food on heated plates. The round tables on the terrace are definitely too small.

Since they remodeled, this place is truly fantastic. I like a steak now and then and this place delivers! I have the tournedo steak rare and it is one of the best steaks I have ever had. And it is really affordable.

Friendly welcome from the staff. We sat at a small round table on the terrace. A bit cramped and the terrace slopes quite steeply, so you weren't quite sitting comfortably. But good enough to sit for a while. However, for a restaurant that looks chic, you want to sit at a table for a bit longer, and then you shouldn't be sitting at such an angle. The food, on the other hand, was very good! A nice selection of meats, just a bit too few vegetables alongside the meat. Half a chicory, one green asparagus, and one small tomato isn't very much. Of course, you come here for the meat, and that was perfect with a delicious sauce on the side!

Wilma & Albert's is back with a vengeance! I love my steak, and I have now re-found the place to be for a good piece of meat. The meat was grilled to perfection and had a lovely flavour to it. Ate there with the whole family and so we will be back again soon!

Unfortunately, very high expectations were not met; on the contrary, it was a huge disappointment. The staff was friendly but incredibly lax, paying little attention to the customer. The meal took so long that I almost wanted to leave, and the food itself was not at all flavor-enhancing. For this price range, I had expected a bit more charm.

Had a delicious meal tonight at the new Wilma and Albert. Tasty onion soup and a beautiful piece of meat. Really top-notch! The staff are doing their best and still need to get used to things. Only been open for a week. But that will be fine.

We stumbled upon this place during the Christmas market. It was packed, but they still managed to seat us for an hour. They asked if we minded, as it was such a short time. We didn't mind and were happy just to be able to eat. Well, we had a delicious meal with excellent service. All in all, we were seated for over an hour. So, super!

After making a reservation for Boxing Day, we decided to call just to check if the booking had gone through correctly, only to discover that our reservation wasn't in the system. We were helped in a friendly manner and put back into the system, only to find out on the evening of Boxing Day that we STILL weren't in the system. The manager laughed it off; after being offered a table at the back of the restaurant and being served by a considerably younger colleague, we stormed out of the restaurant. While in line, we could already hear that the people behind us weren't happy with their assigned spot either. The atmosphere, the way the manager handled the situation, and how casually we were treated about it is a disgrace to the name 'Wilma en Albert.' At Loetje across the street, however, we were welcomed with open arms, even without a reservation. Update: My response to the comment below: we called twice? So if you state that you handled the situation well, this seems incorrect to me. Furthermore, the manager didn't even look at us after the incident; no goodbye, nothing? So it just depends on what you consider 'proper conduct'. This is placing the blame on the customer without finding solutions, especially not when it is a table separate from the restaurant and located in a secluded corner.

We made a reservation for Boxing Day, called twice in November and once in December to check the reservation. Thank goodness, because the first reservation wasn't there. We arrived on Boxing Day. The manager was nervously swiping his iPad. And sure enough, no reservation. After much sighing, she tried to dump us in an uninviting corner in the side room. We declined. So, on Boxing Day, where we'd booked two months in advance, we were allowed out through the door. The manager had a young boy deliver the bad news and didn't even have the nerve to speak to us as we were being escorted out. Another family was placed in front of a window, something they hadn't discussed. So, no more Wilma and Albert. Luckily, LOETJE! still had a cozy table with very friendly staff. What a delicious meal there. Loetje! Thanks for another wonderful evening! Update to the comment: Made two reservations and still blamed the customer, which they do with several reviews here. That's perhaps even worse. So the employee writes NO reservation twice in the system, and the customer is to blame...well, it depends on how you look at it. And offering a dusty room/corner as an alternative, which we refuse to accept...well, you're right. Reader, take advantage of this review. I'm certainly not one to belittle a business. But this reaction from the "manager" makes me think he doesn't want to improve the process. Glad I wasn't standing there with six other people...and indeed, my preference is elsewhere now.

We ate here on Boxing Day. The staff, who were there for the first day, were very friendly... unfortunately, there was little atmosphere, the food was mediocre, and it didn't feel very fresh.

Very uninviting for a Saturday night. It was very quiet, so we finished our meal within an hour because the starter and main course arrived in quick succession. The main course was also disappointing and expensive for what we received, especially the pepper sauce, which was more gravy than pepper sauce. We went there two years ago, and it was delicious and pleasantly busy then. Unfortunately, not for us anymore.

Extremely long wait times. Poor food quality. The shrimp piri-piri appetizer: one was okay, the other was spoiled. The main course, one spare rib, was okay, the other steak was good but cold. Then the same piece of meat was completely overcooked. The third piece was full of sinew. Rude service, which made a colleague look ridiculous. The tiramisu dessert was also subpar. Ultimately, the manager didn't want to pay for the drinks, but nothing else would have helped us have a positive experience next time. Our dinner out was completely ruined. Never again will we go to Wilma & Albert; the quality of the past has completely vanished.

My colleague took me to dinner with a Belgian client. We had a delicious tournedos with pepper sauce and fries. A beer and tiramisu for dessert were really excellent. Definitely recommended if you like meat and a unique setting. 👊

Came here last night to see if they would serve us dessert and coffee after they started closing at 10:00pm, which they did! Because of that random act of kindness, we decided to return the next day to have our last dinner of our trip before flying back to NYC. Our family of four had one Tomahawk steak for 2 persons, which I had with my 14 year old, my 11 year old had the ribs and my wife had the chicken satay. Side dishes of mushrooms, asparagus, salads were also ordered. Service was very warm, funny and attentive to our needs. I love the decor of the place with old art and old records and cd’s on the ceiling. The old school vibe is fun and definitely sets the overall tone. Great for a big party and you have to be ready to eat! We sure did! Very thankful for finding this place and having our last family dinner in Haarlem.

What a disappointment! We've often enjoyed delicious food here, with a professional team and fantastic chefs. Now, it's a bland, nearly empty restaurant awaiting renovations by the new owners. You can't ruin much with a bottle of wine, and the starter with various sausages and pickles from Kesbeke was okay. For the main course, we ordered the dry-aged sirloin steak and ribeye. The young waitstaff really tried their best, but the chefs and the woman behind the bar didn't give us the confidence that we would get our money's worth. Unfortunately, we cancelled our order after the starter and finished our meal at another restaurant. It's a shame that 50 years of fantastic food has been thrown away in such a short time.

After tonight Sunday evening November 23, 2025, trying to eat out here, 1 big silence here, 3 tables reserved... 1 big disappointment, starter of kesebeke and bottle of wine is okay, but then waiting for the sequel, took too long, restaurant has been taken over by other parties, first let's see whether after the renovation from January to March 2025, this will be worthy of Wilma's and Alberts with the new owners

Service is subpar; if something falls on the floor, they bring it back. Vitello tonato: no capers, just vitello. Steak tartare: a slice with ground meat and a raw egg, otherwise 0. Meat quality is subpar and not cooked properly. Finally, it's overpriced for what it is, and the dessert is too small for the price. Will I ever come back here? NO.

I had made a reservation well in advance, and I didn't expect to be placed near the exit where the door kept slamming shut, as if they had a table available for me at the last minute! The starter was good, but after that, no drinks were taken. When the main course arrived, it was lukewarm. Cutlery was only brought afterward, and only then was another drink order placed. Our plates were cleared fairly quickly. The tiramisu dessert was superb. It was a real shame that the service, seating, and main course were like that that evening. For us, that's a reason not to go again.

It's not what it used to be.......... The chef is gone, and with him, so are his delicious herbs. I never needed sauce there, but now I do, unfortunately. Hopefully, it will get better; they're doing their best. I've been coming there for over 35 years and hope it will be the same as it was all those years. It used to be remarkably quiet there, and usually, it was a madhouse.

We just wanted a hearty lunch with good meat. Nothing fancy, just something to make you happy. Well, Wilma & Albèrt’s delivered. Stepping inside feels like stepping into an American bar with a great atmosphere, good music, and the aroma of happiness and meat. Ordered: the steak sandwich. Ate: pure love. So much meat the bread almost cried, but everything perfectly balanced. Tender, fresh, juicy, and that sauce… I even considered licking the plate. The vegetables were just right, nothing overly healthy. The service? Friendly, genuine, simply delightful. You don't feel like a customer here, but someone they want to make happy. In short: this steak sandwich deserves a statue. Five stars, number one, and I'll be back hungry and with high expectations.

We received a warm welcome. The steak and pork tenderloin satay were excellent, except for the spoiled pickle. Sandwich platter, 2 white wines, and 2 beers. The bill was €101. Unfortunately, I didn't check the receipt and paid in good faith, leaving a tip. When I got home, I checked the website to see exactly what everything cost, but I can't even come close to the amount I paid, so I feel a bit ripped off.

My partner and I had a truly delicious meal. We both had the sirloin steak, and it was beautifully prepared. It was nice and rare on the inside, which we love. The rest of the food was also delicious. Definitely recommended if you love good meat and are in Haarlem!

Back to this restaurant after 45 years. I think Albert is turning in his grave. We went there because we had a weekend in Haarlem and enjoyed eating there: unfriendly service that just makes light work of it. The meat was okay, but the mashed potatoes that came with it were cold, and the carrots were hard and not warm at all. Too bad! The price-quality ratio is mediocre in our opinion!

We ate here and immediately fell in love. At Wilma & Albèrt's, you can taste why steak exists. My T-bone arrived sizzling, perfectly seared on the outside, buttery-soft and perfectly cooked on the inside. A knife went through it like butter. My wife had a different steak whose name I've forgotten, but so good she would have ordered another if there was room. And then dessert. That's the real star of the evening. Rich in flavor, perfectly balanced, and the reason your fork automatically goes back for more. The service is warm and attentive, without any fuss. Just the way you like it. One point of note: I miss a beer menu. Haarlem is historically a beer city, and good beer goes fantastically with steak. A small selection of fine beers would complete the picture. But even without a beer menu, this steakhouse gets a solid 10 stars from me. Google only lets me give it five, so those five are my full marks. Top tent, good food and a golden host.

The worst stakes I have ever experienced!!! We asked t-bone and tomahawk as medium rare. Please look at the photos what they brought us!! I felt like the animal was still alive and meat was cold!!! How can you bring such a cold meat, i really can believe!

We wanted a quick refreshment and chose this terrace. We ended up having two cocktails, one called "Sex on the Beach." They were delicious, and you could tell they were freshly made because there was a slight difference in flavor. The fresh orange juice was a bonus. As an appetizer, we also had the bitterballen (Dutch meatballs), which were delicious and well-cooked.

Can't recommend this place for the price, elements of all the dishes we ordered were hit and miss, some vegtables over cooked, others very under. The tuna steak advertised as seared on surface and rare on inside was extremely well done, cooked all the way through, may as well have been from a can. Service wasn't great, it was busy in fairness but there was service issues with the three tables around me, which leads to another point, this is a very cramped and noisy restaurant. The sautéed mushrooms were very good and the core ingredients are high quality but the preparation needs work and prices need lowering, don't bother.

For the €26 spare rib menu, I expected a bit more than what I'd assumed came from a regular supermarket spare rib. The rib was tough and absolutely didn't fall off the bone. I wouldn't go back.

Beautiful steakhouse in the center of Haarlem. Excellent quality meat, grilled to perfection. The burgers are also excellent. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.

It's a shame about that unfriendly man who barks at the guests from the kitchen. It doesn't do justice to the young, service-oriented staff.

We dined with four people, and it was reasonably busy, but not overwhelming. Two T-bone steaks, weighing 550 to 600 grams according to the menu, were served with an Angus burger and fries with stew as the main course. The starters included a fantastic onion soup, steak tartare, and escargot. The starter was exquisite and delicious. The main courses were completely unsatisfactory. The 550 to 600-gram T-bone steaks were certainly not worth the price, but they were. The additional pepper sauce and grilled leeks we ordered never showed up. The Angus burger was inedible and even tasted of rotten meat. The fries with the stew were delicious, however. We were told that the rest of the Angus burger had been thrown in the trash. A good name is being ruined like this. This is not something we should do again, and it's a shame to throw away a good name like this.

Needed a burger and a beer. This was perfect. Service was instant. Pints of Amstel. Chilled for a few hours people watching.

My colleagues ordered the sirloin steak medium-rare, and one of them also ordered medium-rare. We received three medium steaks, and we had to make do. There was no "I'll make the right one" service or anything. The food was okay, but the medium sirloin steak turned out to be very rare, and the dessert wasn't anything special.

Service a bit chaotic, still waiting for coffee! Food, however, is excellent!

Unfortunately not as expected. Starter ordered really the main course came on the table immediately, too bad. The spareribs were dry with a very crispy crust and did not taste fresh, fries were fine. Also no damp cloth to clean your hands with.

Had a great meal at Wilma & Albert! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff that makes for a great experience. The meat was perfectly prepared – juicy, full of flavour and generously served. The ribeye and spareribs are especially recommended. The side dishes were also fresh and flavourful. Everything was perfect: quality, service and ambience. Ideal for a fun night out in Haarlem.

This seemed like a nice place to eat. Yes, a beautiful place in the middle of the city center. Super well helped with different wines. We could try a lot and a matching wine with the dish was found. The starter tartare was delicious!! Everyone should try it once. Me and my boyfriend will definitely come here more often. Super nice and helpful staff. They really know about the wines and dishes. Unbelievable that they dare to ask these prices for a pretentious menu that does not meet expectations at all. Staff not alert and unfriendly. I would warmly recommend you to eat somewhere else if you are in Haarlem.

Delicately crafted, they successfully combine finesse and indulgence, making them the most memorable part of the culinary experience. A sweet touch that ends the meal on a notably positive note. Nevertheless, one shadow looms over the experience: the pricing. Although the overall quality is undeniable, it does not seem to justify such a high cost. The value for money appears unbalanced, which may deter some diners. In conclusion, Vilma and Albert offers a decent, occasionally pleasant experience but struggles to fully convince given its price positioning. A place where one can enjoy a nice moment, provided they are willing to accept a slightly overpriced bill relative to the service offered.

Dit restaurant is al heel wat jaren gevestigd in Haarlem. De prijzen zijn behoorlijk gestegen hier, of de horeca nu in het algemeen zo duur is geworden of alleen in dit restaurant vraag ik mij af. Gemiddeld kogelbiefstukje “ niets bijzonders dus” 23 euro, daar komt de saus en de eventuele friet nog bij. Met 1 biertje en een soepje vooraf, kopje koffie na zit je met twee personen zo boven de honderd euro’s. En is de kwaliteit dan zo extreem geweldig voor de prijs, oordeel zelf maar. Persoonlijk sla ik dit restaurant even over.

De “beroemde” spareribs zijn nu beroemd omdat het de kleinste spareribs die we gegeten hebben. Nog geen derde van wat je vroeger kreeg. Ook de bediening was hopeloos. Pas na een half uur kwam er iemand om de drankjes op te nemen. Tussen voor en hoofdgerecht ruim een uur gewacht. Antwoord waarom het zo lang duurde: “de tomahawks duren een uur. Na vanaf het begin in de jaren 70 een trouwe klant geweest te zijn, hebben we besloten hier niet meer te eten. De prijs/kwaliteit is volledig verloren gegaan.

Steak could have been better medium, but it was cooked well and the people were nice

Spareribs were tasty, but it was an embarrassingly small portion for €30. The service was not friendly and did not pay attention to the tables tonight.

We were in Haarlem for a day with a group of 5 people and were in the mood for steak. A steak restaurant can be excellent, but can also be a genuine "tourist trap". Our company has experience with both. We were very curious about Wilma & Albert's. Upon entering we were given a table by the window. The table next to it was already occupied and the remaining space was so tight that only a group from the anorexia association could have sat there. But yes, you don't often see them at a steak restaurant and our postures are of a slightly different order. We therefore got a table further away in the restaurant, but it was not much better there and we had to make good agreements with our neighbors to have room for everyone. It seems like every square inch MUST be used here; that aroused our suspicions. The whole setting made us fear for the food. That was served quite quickly and accurately. There was certainly nothing wrong with the tender steak, but it was also nothing special and the amount of meat was quite limited. The amount of vegetables supplied was a surprising amount. This did not apply to the fries and you prefer to leave it alone because of the price. Moreover, the fries tasted as if a Rijkswaterstaat gritter had just made its rounds through the kitchen. The final price of all this was disproportionate to the quality. The friendly, neat staff kept our judgment of "tourist trap" just out of reach, but this place does tick the necessary boxes in that direction. If you want a good steak experience, then look further.

Yes, it's a bit expensive but this really is a great restaurant. I now come here with my friends for our monthly night out. This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and really delicious food.

This was a casual dining experience with elevated food. We went twice during our six night stay because it was so good. The staff was very friendly.

1 star – Disappointing experience, feels like a complete scam Unfortunately had a bad experience at Wilma & Albèrt's. I thought this really needs to be shared. First, the prices are high for what you get: €5 for a small bowl of fries €4 for a little satay sauce? The portions are small. If you have any doubts, take a look at the other reviews: we are clearly not the only ones who have experienced this. The service was also below par. The male server with a beard had a big mouth ("We only serve hot coffee, ma'am.") when ordering, and even though we clearly asked for hot coffee, we were served it lukewarm. In addition, the tables were dirty and there seemed to be no attention paid to hygiene or customer experience. What touched me most was what happened at the table next to us: a boy of about 15 had just received his first salary as a shelf stocker and wanted to treat his father and younger brother to a steak. No strong drinks, just a modest outing for 3 while their mother was out shopping. To their horror, they received a bill for no less than € 197. You saw the sadness and surprise on that boy's face. What should have been a beautiful day (there were carnival crowds and the flower parade in Haarlem) was ruined. In short: a business without a heart for the customer, without service and with prices that make no sense. This feels like a scam. Please avoid this place. There are plenty of other nice places in Haarlem where you will receive honest and friendly help.

1 ster – Teleurstellende ervaring, voelt als pure oplichting Helaas een slechte ervaring gehad bij Wilma & Albèrt's. Ik dacht dit moet echt gedeeld worden. Ten eerste zijn de prijzen hoog voor wat je krijgt: €5 voor een klein bakje patat €4 voor een beetje satésaus? De porties zijn klein. Als je twijfelt, kijk vooral ook naar de andere reviews: wij zijn duidelijk niet de enigen die dit hebben ervaren. De service was ook ondermaats. De mannelijke bediening met baard had een grote mond (“Wij serveren alleen maar warme koffie, mevrouw.”) tijdens de bestelling, en ondanks dat we duidelijk vroegen om warme koffie, kregen we het lauw geserveerd. Daarnaast waren de tafels vies en leek er totaal geen aandacht te zijn voor hygiëne of klantbeleving. Wat me het meest raakte, was wat er aan de tafel naast ons gebeurde: een jongen van ongeveer 15 jaar had net zijn eerste salaris gekregen als vakkenvuller en wilde zijn vader en jongere broertje trakteren op een biefstukje. Geen sterk drankjes erbij, gewoon een bescheiden uitje voor 3, terwijl hun moeder even aan het winkelen was. Tot hun grote schrik kregen ze een rekening van maar liefst € 197,-. Je zag het verdriet en de verbazing op het gezicht van die jongen. Wat een mooie dag (Er was kermisdrukte en het bloemencorso in Haarlem) had moeten worden, werd verpest. Kortom: een zaak zonder hart voor de klant, zonder service en met prijzen die nergens op slaan. Dit voelt als oplichterij. Vermijd deze tent alstublieft. Er zijn genoeg andere fijne plekken in Haarlem waar je wél eerlijk en vriendelijk geholpen wordt.

Very tasty meal. Price quality is good. 1 minus point if you sit in the back it is very noisy which makes everyone talk louder. The acoustics are better at the front.

Amazing place! The food was awesome, the staff, kind and helpful, and the ambiance, perfect. 10 out of 10. I'll definitely go there again.

Ordering was quite chaotic, but the wait staff served the right dishes. Friendly atmosphere.

Highly recommend if you’re looking to eat a delicious steak! Service is amazing and so is the athmosphere:) I come here often and I never have anything bad to say about this place! Love it.

The food was mediocre, but tastes differ, but the fact that the tables are so close together doesn't matter at all!

15 februari een speciale dag om samen met mijn vriend en vriendin uit Spanje met haar dochter te gaan eten bij Wilma & Albert. Ik verheugde me er erg op vanwege de fijne herinneringen aan dit leuke restaurant met een de relaxte sfeer en hele fijne eten. Aan de bediening ligt het zeker niet, wel degene die je naar je plaats wijst. We hadden op tijd gereserveerd en kregen een plek voor 4 op de tocht bij de deur naar buiten. Zonder jas aan eigenlijk te koud om te zitten. Arrogant werd gereageerd toen ik om een andere plaats vroeg. We bestelden een fles wijn, 2 bier, voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht met koffie toe. Voor 4 pers €,270,- bv. de tournedos middelmaat €38 met saus( apart €5,-) en patatjes ( apart voor €5,-) is toch een idiote prijs voor een klein stukje vlees. Wij kregen spareribs met patat en saus voor €28,- Voor ons de laatste keer eten bij W &A, wat toch ooit een super tent was. Zeker zo met de ijskou in je rug. Op zijn minst hadden ze koffie kunnen aanbieden. Oh ja, we kregen een extra koekje..

I can’t understand how this place has 3.5 rating on trip advisor. I travel to Haarlem every 2/3 months and visit Wilma & Albèrt’s if I’m in the mood for steak. This was my 5th visit, the ribeye is always good and this is why I always go back, this time the meat quality was excellent.

Last Sunday we went for lunch with and a friend oowMy!! A waiter came (very funny person we call him Wilma) super nice! You don't feel like you went to a restaurant, but to friends, such great hospitality!! My opinion very few restaurant nowadays have good food and are affordable. This top restaurant, top chef and top service 10 points. Next time I will go again!!

We were searching for a steak house in Haarlem and we ended up in Wilma & Albert's. The service was OK and the food was nothing extraordinary, but still OK! We had onion soup, quiche Lorraine, bread with garlic spread and the starters dish with salmon for starters. For main, we had the new Yorker steak, the kalfs ribeye and the steak that came with the menu which was quite bad. We also had 3 wines which were very tasty. Overall, an average steak house which is a good option if you cannot find something else :)

Ate here at Christmas, but what a shame (especially the food). Spareribs dirty, ordered 2 large tournedos that could actually be passed for a shoe sole (and didn't even look like a tournedos), garnish half delivered. Not for me anymore, still nice to pay almost 200 euros with 4 people, quality is hard to find (very far). I gave them the benefit of the doubt again since we had this before last year. Too bad, but this is nothing like what Wilma and Alberts used to be.

Minus bottle of spring water for euro 7.50. Ridiculous!!

Spontaneously ended up in this restaurant, luckily there was room for us. We initially sat in a chilly spot, but luckily we were allowed to find a table at the back of the restaurant. Found the hosts friendlier than the hostess. Carpaccio was delicious as was the sirloin steak and bavette. Onion soup was a bit disappointing. The decor gives you the feeling that you are in an Irish pub.
