Great place in Leeuwarden, I always love coming here. The food is delicious, especially the apple nut cake! The matcha is much better now that it's made with powder instead of syrup.

Had a sandwich here in the afternoon. Friendly people. And the sandwiches were delicious too.

We went here for lunch today. At first, it seemed great, but it was incredibly noisy. I ordered a smoothie, but it was very sour, so I sent it back. I was told it just contained banana, but they also offered a different, new smoothie. When I went to checkout, I had to pay for both smoothies, which is what they were listed for! Not customer-friendly and a real shame. She could have made me a smaller one to save me €2. A colleague even intervened and insisted I pay. It was a very strange behavior when they offered to serve me a different smoothie. The food was otherwise excellent, but I expected a bit more bacon than half a slice in the chicken and bacon sandwich. In short, the food was good, but the service during checkout was extremely poor. We won't be back.

I ordered high tea and had it delivered to my home. The savory sandwiches were fine, but the sweet treats were very simple and dry: mini muffins, a piece of layer cake, poffertjes (small pancakes), cake cut into small pieces, and a dry mini waffle. There were a few "more luxurious" sweet treats, but there were 11 of us, and at most six of the treats were the same, so they were quickly devoured. I wouldn't recommend it.

Pfffff I didn't spend anything. Were still not helped after 20 minutes. Not even after I reported myself. There were 5 employees in the store and next to us 1 other customer who had already been helped. They left. This is the third time it has been like this. I think the staff has changed. Time for new people anyway. These don't seem suited for the catering industry.. Too bad you always get tasty things and a beautiful place but this ruins it for me.

I have been coming here for about 3 years. I really like their products and flavors. Their breakfast is great, their desserts are great. I like everything to be as close to nature as possible. No ridiculous flavors, gelatins or artificial things. I am not much of a cheesecake person, but every guest we bring here always gives a great review after trying the cheesecake. Even the smell is really great. I would like to write them all one by one, saying, "Try red velvet, try cheesecake, try an avocado breakfast", but no matter what you try, you will love it. 🥰 Sitting outside in nice weather is really a great pleasure. The view and the peace and tranquility it gives is a separate topic. Since the employees change, they are generally friendly and fast, but sometimes things can change. We sometimes have to remind them of things frequently, like our last time. But it can definitely be ignored.

The cappuccino was fine; not special. We also ordered American pancakes. These were prepared without love. The pancakes were still raw. We indicated this and, after our insistence, we were asked for a new preparation. Then we heard a disappointed chef talking about this from the kitchen. Furthermore, the pancakes with fresh fruit were quite sparsely topped. The pancakes with banana and walnut and the yoghurt were tasty. There is also a cat walking around the shop. It is a sweet and affectionate animal; Of course you have to like this. There are many crates with fruit and vegetables on the floor, which the cat can also reach. Furthermore, the service was not that friendly and not customer-oriented. That's a shame! The place itself looks nice and the location is nice...

Delicious fresh food, beautiful place, and there is a cat walking around. Much too busy for an HSP during 'rush hour' - I left my first attempt (lunch), it was packed and very noisy. Breakfast the next day was successful (see photo), they put the cat upstairs for my dog ​​who was there, and I understand very well why this place is popular. I licked my fingers!

The matcha is unfortunately fake. Is not made with matcha powder, but with matcha flavored sugar syrup. So no caffeine either. Perfect for pregnant women, but I think it's a shame. She wanted to make another drink, but I wanted a matcha for the caffeine. Coffee gives a different effect. So I will never get my matcha here again.

Tables are extremely close together, making it difficult to move from your spot. In addition, it quickly becomes very noisy inside. They have decorated it nicely and the service is very friendly. Although it took a very long time before we could pass on the food. In short, a great place for quality food. Only I'm giving three stars purely because the place is crammed with people in a fairly small space. This is really different at other locations.

We then got a starter that was really not tasty (a sandwich with a lot of raw onion, tomato and a mini piece of ham instead of bruschetta with ham, fig, apple, nuts and brie). It was said that the kitchen had served the wrong version, but this variant was not on the menu. The wine glass was dirty with old food particles and deposits. Moreover, the already small glass only contained five sips of wine. Nice wine, but I think almost a euro per sip is a bit much. The main course was mediocre. Perhaps the fun was a bit dull by now. All in all a disappointing experience, especially for the price/quality ratio and especially because of the unfriendly response when I indicated my disappointment. I got a snide comment that they had offered a solution and that was that. “Goodbye,” said the waitress and walked away. Unfortunately, this beautiful spot is not recommended because of the friendliness and the food.

Been 3 times now. 1st time was a lot of fun. It was very busy and swear was fun. We ordered a nice cup of coffee and enjoyed the view. And if you just want a cup of coffee, this is a great place. But then came the second time. I had the hair salon. Fries were completely wet through the lettuce and the chicken was missing except for 2 pieces. Well, it can happen once. But then came the 3rd time and therefore the 2nd time we went to eat there. But we opted for something safe and those were the American pancakes with fruit and syrup. Syrup was forgotten so we had to ask for it. Pancakes were very dry and had no taste. Don't even pass by the table to see if everything tastes good. So I gave 3 attempts, 2 of which were extremely bad experiences. So we won't be back anytime soon.

The menu also had many other choices that looked good. If you want to eat something different than what you usually get in a restaurant, I would definitely recommend STEK. The service was nice, but could have been a bit faster. There is a wonderful water play area for the small children. All in all a wonderful place on the water and nice to watch boats.

I think the curry powder in the hummus is a real turn-off. The change is not on the menu and simply not mentioned. I don't think this service is worth anything. Very unfortunate, but I won't be back. And while you paid enough for it. Amateurish staff, who on earth would think of putting curry and pesto together on a sandwich?! I'd rather eat a wet, soggy sandwich than this.
