After trying many club sandwiches, I finally found a restaurant that makes them the way they should be. Real chicken breast, not slices from the supermarket or rolled roasts, but simply freshly grilled large pieces. With original ingredients found in a traditional club sandwich. Fast service, freshly made. I'll definitely be back. You can recognize a good restaurant by whether they can make a good traditional club sandwich. They need to be more specific about what their specials are. The menu said "salmon", not smoked salmon. I sent it back and got a ribeye steak (which was delicious). But still got charged for two meals. We had to ask for silverware (even after they brought our food). Never checked back. Food was good, but we won't return.

No beach bar can match the delicious daily fresh sole (from Zierikzee)!!

The food here is seriously underrated. Many people choose the trendy beach bars, but at most, you get the same burger, fries, sandwich, or salad. In my opinion, Havana offers better value and a wider selection than other beach bars.

Price for the amount you get served is not in proportion. A satay can only 1 small stick of maybe just 100gr with a few fries and a little bit of atjar for 25.00. Scandalous. And the service had more attention for her friends than for the customers

Lovely beautiful relaxed beach bar. No hysterical public that storms out of the train and causes a madhouse, but beach lovers who come to enjoy the beach and relax and be cozy. Nice terrace, good kitchen, nice music and an even nicer team that welcomes you.

We have known Havanna for over 25 years. It has changed several times, always in a positive way, but the chilled atmosphere and relaxed ambience have remained.

Not recommended. Expensive and mediocre quality. Plaice fillet for €26.50. Three pieces of fillet and a small dollop of salad. No other side dishes. We had to order fries as well, and they were so overcooked that you could barely skewer them.

I have lived in Kennemerland for 40 plus years and tonight I had drinks and dinner at Havana for the first time with my yoga friends. Big compliment to Ellen and her team including Esther, Lisa, Roos and Johan! It was a very pleasant evening!

Nice stay. Very friendly owners and friendly staff. Easily accessible if you have difficulty walking. I was with my elderly mother who cannot walk far and we were able to sit there wonderfully. It was busy inside and they offered to save a table for us when it got cooler. We ate delicious asparagus and the trio of fish in the afternoon is also highly recommended! Good Rosé by the way! It was a very pleasant Easter Sunday for us, thanks for that!

Cozy beach bar with nice service, it was a bit unclear which part of the outdoor terrace was open and therefore the service was a bit chaotic, but okay... the season had barely started so it must have been a start-up phase.

Had dinner with friends on the first evening of the new 2025 season. It looks great again! Very atmospheric and the food is good as expected! The opening menu is more than sufficient, and the price-quality is top. On to a beautiful spring and summer. Definitely worth a compliment.

Zelden zo’n slecht belegd broodje tonijn gezien. Schandalig gewoon. Veel sla en dan een mini hoeveelheid tonijn salade er op en dan erboven op nog een kale witte boterham waar je dus niks aan hebt ( laat ‘m dan weg. ) want waarmee zou ik die moeten beleggen als boterham 1 al amper belegd is. Lekker goedkoop om de boel wat te laten lijken door een hoop sla ….. ik woon in de buurt. Kom hier niet nog eens. Ach de toerist zal het misschien accepteren want komt niet snel weer of denkt , net als ik: zoek wel een betere plek …..

Beach pavilion at the end of town. We were served quickly and the food was tasty. However, the portions were very manageable for the price.

Not recommended. The service is incompetent and no one is responsible for you.

If children are not wanted, it would be better to make this known in advance and certainly in a less aggressive tone. Unfortunately, this is the last time we will go to Havana and we will no longer recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

Very agressive, unreasonable and unpleasant staff. We were yelled at, sworn at and swung at. Will never come here again, terrible experience and extremely unfriendly people. Would not recommend.

Die Bedienung ignorierte uns 10 Minuten. Die Gäste am Nebentisch wurden von der Dame im Service sofort bedient. Sie stand danach am Rand und guckte aufs Meer . Als sie dann wieder an unserem Tisch vorbeikam sprachen wir sie an und sie raunzte nur kühl Moment. Danach stand sie dann mit Kollegen zusammen und unterhielt sich. Wir standen auf und bedankten uns für ihren Service🤣

If your staff apologizes with shame on their cheeks for the owner's rude behavior, then you have chosen the wrong profession... We, a group of 12 people, got up after the first round of drinks and moved to another beach bar. . If you want to go here with children, choose a different beach bar. After 2 minutes the owner will make it clear to you in an unmistakable tone that he is NOT a child-friendly beach bar. Children are only allowed to play on the beach, preferably not on the terrace and if only 1 child runs on the terrace, you can immediately grab your things and leave (literal text). We were 6 children who, after a sip of their drink, walked quietly to the beach to play there. We also hate children who noisily terrorize the entire terrace. I think it's good to read that people also say something positive, because the lady who serves us is really a sweetheart and didn't really know what to say, she was clearly ashamed. However, if you are considering eating here and your wishes deviate slightly from the standard offering (bring a parasol, a glass of tap water) or you have children with you, walk to any other beach bar and ignore Havana aan Zee.

Tasty food and friendly staff. Located out of the way of the center. Quiet audience

We have been to this beach venue several times with our two dogs. We have always been welcomed with great kindness! We tried the salads and desserts; they are very well presented and they are also very good :) We hope to return soon :)

The food is a bit pricey, but I understand that for a beach bar. The atmosphere is good and especially the service is excellent! Nice and quick.

Had a delicious meal with my daughter and her husband. We had to wait a while due to the crowds, and after 10 minutes there was a table for us.

Great place and top service. It was busy when we arrived and I wanted to sit out front by the sea to watch the sunset. After a few minutes a table a little closer became available. We discussed it with the hostess and we were able to go there. After the starter she came to get us because a table at the front of the beach had become available. What a service! Wij kennen deze plek al uit de tijd dat dit nog een dependance was van Havanna in Amsterdam. Die is al lang verdwenen, maar deze plek is er nog. Wij hebben afgelopen weken hier 2x keer geluncht bij prachtig weer. Waar we bij andere strandtenten eindeloos moesten wachten, werkt het hier als een geoliede machine. Beide keren (dus geen toeval) stond binnen no-time ons drinken op tafel en de heerlijke salades waren er ook heel snel. Lekker eten en vriendelijke bediening en nog altijd een leuke plek op het einde van de boulevard. Ik las hier wat negatieve reviews, maar kan daar niets van herkennen.

I have been coming to Havanna for coffee, drinks, lunch or dinner for a long time and it is always relaxed, cozy and delicious. Just the right ultimate beach feeling. In full sun, but also with wind and rain, after a nice walk, or when the weather is bad, but you want to see the sea. In short, we're going again tomorrow.

Expensive prices, small portions. Again, the service was quick and responsive, serving good, sufficient food at a great price since it was probably close to the beach. This has changed over the years and inflation seems to have arrived.

When we go to the beach, we always go to Havana, good food and nice, fast service. Enjoyed it there again today. It was just a minor point. We had a satay and a sole and when someone from the service came to pick up the plates, he said, "ah, poor fish." Yes, the friendly employee said, "I'm a vegetarian and all the food I see involves meat and fish." But yeah, I can't change it.” We had to laugh about it a bit afterwards, but we actually didn't think it was possible. You've had a delicious meal and then someone from the service starts talking about that sad little fish. That's fine if you're a vegetarian, but the guests don't need to know that. But once again we had a delicious meal and always a nice atmosphere, service and clean toilets.

Unfortunately you can't pay in cash with 100 euros. Weird 😐

Hospitable, good menu, reasonable prices

Chic beach pavilion (formerly "Zeezicht") with an elegant and casual audience of all ages. The charming couple runs the catering business with a lot of ambition and hard work: The guest is actually king here. Fast and always very attentive service (Esther)! When it comes to the popular sole, there is... very beneficial... NOT "cheating" here: There is the small "Lady Tong" (approx. 35o grams) for 27.5o euros and the huge "Zeetong" known from long ago in Holland with more than 6oo grams for a whole > 37.5o euros. Cheers! Subtle endless music invites you to chill out. By the way, the WiFi password is right on the menu and is easy to remember: mooiweer = nice weather :-)

Very nice atmosphere. Real beach tent

This is one of the best bars along the Zandvoort beach. Exceptionally, by the standards for some places here, the staff were most friendly and welcoming, so much so that I told them so and they were happy to hear it. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The aioli was the best that I have ever tasted! Service was swift. We shall be back.

Das ehemalige "Zeezicht" ist nun schon seit mehr als 2o Jahren "Havana aan Zee" und liegt ganz im Süden des Boulevard Paulus Loot. Der Fußweg zum riesigen Parkplatz dauert fünf Minuten. Es ist ein eleganter Treffpunkt mit einer vielseitigen Speisenkarte und sehr aufmerksamer Bedienung (groeten an Esther). Das Betreiberpaar führt das Unternehmen mit viel Ehrgeiz und Geschmack. Insbesondere möchte ich die Fast Food, Burger-Fans und Kritiker auf eine Alternative und damit auf ein kulinarisches Highlight hinweisen: Eine große Seezunge, 500-600 Gramm, (keine Rotzunge) serviert die Küche für schlappe 37,50 Euro. Wo ... in D bekommt man sowas?

Had a delicious lunch after a walk. Staff friendly.

We stopped after riding bikes over the dunes for dinner and drinks. We sat outside and waited a long time for anyone to come. We were told we could not order their burger because it was only for lunch. The server was rude and condescending in her tone. We ordered drinks. Then we're told we could not order frites though they were clearly stated with a separate price in the menu. They charged a euro for their bathroom though people are eating there. Unimpressed. Finished drinks and left. Would not go back

Been here before to enjoy a snack and a drink. The weather was lovely until we were called inside because of a heavy storm that was coming. That was very thoughtful of the staff. 2 weeks ago we visited Havana again, sat inside, but it was still a bit too cold outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they provided good assistance. Food was fine, my satay was delicious but could have been a little warmer. Crispy fries on the side, always welcome. Coffee was good but the ABC coffee was even better, highly recommended. All in all, our visit to Havana was definitely worth repeating. A nice place to enjoy good food, sea and beach.

Nice beach bar like so many others. Been many times and not much to complain about. Relax on the terrace behind the window when there is a lot of wind. Quiet in that there is no loud music. Very nice. Ordered a club sandwich last 3 times. Unfortunately, the quality is absolutely inconsistent. 1st time was fine, 2nd and 3rd time I didn't think it was value for money, +- 14 euros that you paid. Sandwich looks beautiful, but after a few bites you are only eating bread. Few toppings, as far as the chicken is concerned, which makes the sandwich tasty. Shame. Unfortunately this happens to many tents these days. Burrata salad was fine. The kids' fries, ditto...

On the penultimate (according to the weather reports) sunny day, the question to be allowed to turn in the parasol that was turned off for a last spot in the sun was answered with: "Then you will sit next to each other, I will not remain the Open and close the parasol all day long." A very unfriendly response to which we immediately asked what we wanted to drink... Things were better on all fronts at the neighbors!

what I like when taking a ride on my motorcycle is that I can park my car at Havana itself and that is why I always choose Havana

Mijn eerste bezoek aan deze strand tent, als ex inwoner en geboren op Zandvoort maak ik regelmatig foto's op einde boulevard na een bezoek aan deze badplaats, op deze dag dacht ik waarom ga je niet even kijken naar deze zaak, na mijn entree gemaakt te hebben werd er al na 5 sec gevraagd wat wilt u drinken, een chardonnay graag, waar gaat u zitten? joh ik kijk even rond ben benieuwd, afijn, ik kreeg mijn wijn in een doorzichtig limonade glas, a, dacht 6.50 eur , en zij doe maar 7,50, volgende vraag van mij was, heeft u misschien een wijnglas? gaat u op het strand zitten? vraag terug, nee ik kijk hier even rond ben benieuwd, toen begon het gedoe, de eigenaar, ( lees naar) sommeerde mij op het pand te verlaten, en daarna nog een keer, toen liep ik het terras op naar een bekende , nl zijn vrouw, en ik begon een gesprek met haar tot dat deze man eigenaar erg indrukwekkend op mij afkwam met een opgeheven arm en riep, En nu wegwezen!!! anders bel ik de politie, en hij pakte zijn telf, geschokt van deze dreiging heb ik angstig mijn wijn geleegd in de spoelbak incl plastic bekertje en met een hoge hartslag en angst mij snel van deze Angstaanjagende en onbeschofte man uit de voeten gemaakt,thuis gekomen dit gemeld op FB waarop een dag later via zijn vrouw op mijn MS een dreigend bericht verscheen, nl, verwijder snel jou bericht anders schakelen wij de politie in!!!ze weten er al van. gelukkig filmpje van mijn bezoek en foto's tevens texten bewaard, zie Trip adviser voor vele eerdere negatieve acties van deze ondernemer, Service en inzet personeel oke , maar deze inzet van hun vergooid deze man weer op deze mannier!! moest het toch even kwijt,,,,,,

Wonderful tent. Us knows us is the motto here, but it's a lot of fun (even if you don't know anyone here 😉). Lovely sun loungers (possibly with mattress, windshield, table and parasol for rent). Service; top! To eat; Delicious Wine; to enjoy We will visit there more often....

To each his own taste. This wasn't mine. Looked neat, service fine. Just a lot of old people and therefore a lot of chatter.

Were at the stand with our children and our son was stung by a bee...the women from Havana immediately left everything behind and looked after our boy. There were even chewy bombs to dry his tears. The food and service were great too

Snelle en vriendelijke bediening, maar helaas teleurstellend eten. Gamba’s met mediterraanse groenten bleken hier te drijven in een grote plas wildsaus met champignons zonder groenten. Frieten waren slap. Mosselen ook al zonder groenten. En daar dan €26 pp voor vragen. Je moet maar durven.

Delicious food, beautiful view of the sea, even though the weather was bad. The service was angelic! Unfortunately we had a bad incident, one of the guests fainted (overtired) and the waiting staff were so sweet and helpful! Fortunately, everything turned out fine and despite this incident it was a beautiful evening. Thank you!
