Strange that when it's raining, it's so much trouble to open the parasol while we're sitting on the patio. We asked the staff a few times, but they prefer to let their guests sit in the rain. Also, the staff could have come by more often to take orders. It took a very long time...

Delicious food at a great price. Beautiful sea views, and friendly staff. About a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, through a stunning dune landscape.

Best location on the Dutch coast

We were there on a weekday afternoon; seating outside for two people with two dogs was no problem. The view of the beach was fantastic. We had kippers, squid rings, and fries – all very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. Prices were perhaps a bit higher than usual due to the great location.

The food was excellent, and the terrace was lovely and spacious. A bit pricey, but what isn't these days? Highly recommended.

We visited twice during our vacation and were served courteously by friendly, multilingual staff. The beach bar classics are attractively presented and don't taste like tourist rip-offs. Everything was good! P.S.: Very child-friendly and dog-friendly!

We were very satisfied. The Caesar salad and fish and chips were delicious. The beer and cappuccino were delicious. The terrace was great, with a clean and well-maintained ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

The waitress must have had a long day. It was quite crowded. We just had a drink and left. We've had different experiences before.

The view is great. Opening hours start at 11 a.m., but the kitchen opens at 12 p.m. Unfortunately, that's not stated anywhere. We left very disappointed.

Beautiful location, great view. We were lucky enough to get a table for six of us for an hour. The staff could have been a bit friendlier than the location suggested. The food was excellent. The mussels in white wine sauce were amazing, served with a fresh baguette and three different dips. The beef with pasta was just as delicious. The kids' box with fries and nuggets... what can you say?... the kids loved it. The kids' pizza was a bit light, but the child enjoyed it too. Prices were a bit "upscale"

We had a delicious lunch at Paal10. Reservations are recommended on Sunday afternoon. They have a great, extensive menu, with something for everyone. Despite the crowds, we received excellent and friendly service! There's a stupid Dyson faucet in the restrooms, though; they dry your hands, but wet your shirt and pants 🙈

The food was delicious, including vegan options, such as the poke bowl and vegetarian bitterballen. The service itself was fast and very good, but the young woman who served us looked very tired and didn't seem to smile or have any energy. It's great that dogs are allowed, but at the next table there was a very large dog with us who was constantly panting and drooling distastefully. That's why I found the atmosphere a bit disappointing... but that was just bad luck at the time. Without that, it would have been very enjoyable.

After a visit to the beach, we stopped here. The atmosphere is great, casual, and right on the beach. You can order a drink, a snack, or a larger meal; everyone, including dogs, is welcome. The service was very friendly and pleasant, and the prices were reasonable. You sit sheltered behind glass walls on the large terrace and can enjoy the view of the sea.

We had a lovely lunch here. We chose the delicious homemade fish soup and a bread roll with spreads. Everything was fresh and tasty! We also had a refreshing smoothie, which was also delicious! Highly recommended!

A great beach bar with a really good vegetarian menu. We love coming here. The service is very friendly. You get served quickly. The portions are always generous. Today we had a children's pizza. It was a bit small (for a 7-year-old). The smoothies are delicious and generously sized. 🤗 Make sure to make a reservation if you want to go :)

Arrived with the four of us at 4 p.m. for drinks and perhaps a bite to eat, only to be told everything was reserved, even though there were plenty of empty seats. Service can be so easy, but here they completely missed the mark. So I went to Looxs, where they had a much better service! We had a great meal and drinks, and the service was excellent!

Sufficient, good. At the beach (and for some time now) you do pay a hefty price for plate service.

We don't think the service is good when you arrive at 4pm with four people for dinner and are told that everything is reserved while there are maybe 10 people inside and therefore plenty of places free... so for us a turn-off!!!

Friendly staff, nice and fast. The fish was inedible, dry, overcooked, and tasteless. The sauce in a plastic container for a €30 meal is a shame. The flavor comes from seasonings they don't know about here. The place looks like a Xenos version of a Laplas.

We thought: “Lass uns but den Sonnenuntergang with the Füßen in Sand and a nice drink at the Beachbar Paal 10 enjoy.” Sound after a good idea – empfehlen could not be changed. Service is available at the Terrace at Paal 10, and our services are available. This is true for our own problem, and every leader is concerned about plastic protection and dosing. 😵‍💫 And the whole thing comes with a stollen Price: Two doses of beer and a Sprite Zero – 16.50 Euro. Our conclusion: In this price-performance ratio, you'll love the service on the terrace with proper attention—or bring your own drink and settle in the sand! We wanted to enjoy the sunset with our feet in the sand and a cool drink at beach pavilion Paal 10. We thought it would be a good idea, but unfortunately, we can't recommend it. Service is only available on the terrace of Paal 10; outside of that, it's self-service. Not a problem in itself, but then you only get drinks in plastic cups or cans. 😵‍💫 On top of that, the prices are quite high: we paid €16.50 for two cans of beer and a Sprite Zero. Our advice: if you want a drink here, do so on the terrace where you get real glasses and plates – or bring your own drink and sit in the sand

What a well-organized beach bar this is! I'm always amazed at how quickly the food arrives after ordering. The price/quality ratio is excellent. The staff is always super friendly. We like to eat a bit later in the evening so the little ones are already gone and it's a bit more relaxed. And we always end the evening with frappuccinos… topped with hazelnuts and whipped cream. Mmmmmmm That holiday feeling at Paal10! Thank you! ❤️

Unfortunately, it was rather average. Reservations for a group of 12 worked well. Cocktails and long drinks are unfortunately not recommended; they taste very artificial. The food tasted okay, but for three people, the meat (chicken) was undercooked. The best part of the visit was the view of the beach.

Lighting candles inside where no one was sitting was more important than asking the customers if they wanted a drink. The food is delicious, but the staff acted as if they weren't interested, and they did this as punishment. Aside from the general knowledge of young people, it was even worse here when I asked what flavor the cheesecake was or if it was New York style. Just cheesecake was the answer... Okay, you know what? Never mind. We wanted to have lunch, but the drinks took ages, and the apple pie took ages, so we weren't really in the mood. When we wanted to pay, it was, of course, taken within 30 seconds. It just depends on what you prioritize.

We sat here for a drink and a bite to eat. The view is beautiful, but it took a while before we were helped, and I think we were at table 5, so it couldn't have been because it was so busy. When you're helped and they don't know exactly what's being served, it's actually quite worrying. Unfortunately, staff are like that everywhere these days, and this is no exception. Work is a necessity...and not because it's fun to help people. All in all, reasonable.

Lovely terrace on a wide beach. Ordered fish and chips, but asked first how they prepared them. So, frozen... you're by the sea... and then you pay €21 for a portion of frozen fries and frozen kibbeling!? I'd rather have a steak sandwich. Luckily, not frozen... A stingy glass of rosé accompanied by mediocre quality. Yes, the beach is beautiful, the sea air is palpable, and I wasn't expecting fine dining. Still, I find the quality rather poor, even for a beach bar.

We tried to enjoy an espresso martini, but unfortunately, it was undrinkable (and therefore not consumed). When asked if everything was to our liking, we gave an honest answer. No alternative was offered, and we left the full amount behind. A shame.

It's always nice to be there. Even with a larger group, it's no problem. The food was really good and plentiful. Unfortunately, we were charged for two things that we didn't get. Since it was under €5, we can live with that. The view and ambiance are very nice and inviting. We'd love to come back here again.

For my wife's birthday on July 10, 2025, we went to the beautifully situated Paal 10 for a mussel dinner. Even when we made our reservation over the phone, an extremely polite and cheerful waitress conveyed the positive vibe of the entire team. A wonderful spot on the terrace awaited us, and our very friendly and professional waitress made it clear to us: "The guest is king." This was followed by top-notch service, something we don't always find in this form in German restaurants—emphasis on "not always" so as not to convey a negative image of German gastronomy. After a day at the beach, I wanted a tasty bite to eat, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible on the terrace. The food inside was decent, but the banofee dessert was old. The (mini) banana cake was so old that the whipped cream was crumbly and stale. The whipped cream around it with fruit was freshly piped on. After reporting it, I received a response: "Oh, too bad!!!" And that for €9.50. The staff weren't all very friendly either; it was surprising how they treated other customers.

Well, a nice beach bar, Paal 10 at Paal 4. The service is friendly. The way they serve is mediocre. Serving from the front and holding and putting down glasses at the top. But yes, you see that everywhere these days. Staff shortages and no catering course or education are to blame for this. Negative points: I ordered a small bowl of extra peanut sauce, BAM € 3.00. For the small containers of mayonnaise, which are served with the dishes, an extra € 0.75 was charged. We were offered a bread to break as a starter, which is not strange in itself. But the herb butter was rock hard and BAM, in the end it cost € 10.- without consultation or anything. We understand that we eat and drink in a beach bar/restaurant. The prices are certainly higher on the beach. We are certainly not poor. But especially charging 3 euros for a small container of peanut sauce... I know enough restaurants where this is considered a service and it is provided free of charge. The service people are very nice. By the way, I called and passed on "the complaints" to a young man. I was supposed to be called back, but this did not happen in the end. In short, next time we will try the beach bar at pole 5. The person who reported the complaint was not called back. The person who made the reservation was called. We had a nice evening. But you ignore the points that form the complaint. But it is okay. We will not come again.

Super friendly service, drinks great, meat (spare ribs / chicken a bit under seasoned (mixed grill) and if you get 2 pieces of chicken I would make them different. Otherwise everything is great!

Cosy with the family at Paal 10. Because of Mother's Day the outside tables were reserved. Luckily we were on the terrace quite early. Cakes were on the expensive side and not that tasty.

Lots of free tables, so we asked for a place for 8 people. We were assigned a bench on the side where we could take a seat. For the rest there was no room anywhere they said... We also asked if there really was no place for us inside, but there REALLY was not. (This while there were more than 10 free tables) When leaving this tent we heard the hostess tell other guests that they could just pick a place inside. Very strange, missed opportunity for turnover. It is not worth the trip!

Last Saturday I had a beach day in Ouddorp with my girlfriend and I wanted to eat at Paal 10 as a conclusion because I had eaten here before with family and I really liked it then. Well I'm not going to miss it because the service is so nice that you get. Actually everything on the terrace was already full but the staff thought along with us and offered us to take a seat on a bench. Before we did that, another colleague already mentioned that there was a high table available. I think it's so nice that they want to think along with you and find solutions. We were very happy because we had a nice spot with that warm weather. The food was also great according to our wishes. In addition, as I said, the staff is really super thoughtful and hospitable. Especially Zita and Nick who served us, but they are all lovely people. In any case, I felt completely happy and at home and I wanted to share that. We had a great day at Paal 10, definitely recommended!

The location is, of course, fantastic, and the outdoor area is beautifully landscaped. We didn't have a reservation, so we couldn't get a table despite the beautiful weather on a Sunday afternoon. However, the friendly waitress offered us two seats on a bench with a partial sea view, so we could sit and have a drink. Therefore, I can't comment on the food or the interior.

What a lovely beach bar and terrace. Great food but above all big compliments to the service! In addition to being super cheerful, everything was also perfectly under control on a full terrace.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing – and that's probably because there's no competition in the area. The location right on the beach is beautiful, but that's about it. The fries – both regular and sweet potato fries – clearly came from the freezer and tasted completely interchangeable. The burger was mediocre at best and not lovingly prepared. The service was also not a bright spot: unmotivated, unfriendly, and only willing to wipe the dirty table after being asked. They only offered a single napkin – a detail that symbolizes the general lack of interest in the guest. Overall, one had the feeling that no one here really cares about good service or quality – a shame, because the potential of the location is completely wasted.

Went here today for a drink and a small snack. First we had to look for a long time to see if there was a spot. There were still many empty tables. So I asked if they would all be reserved quickly. Yes, that was in 20 minutes. Yes, then I understand that. We could still sit on a bench for a drink. Fine! In the end, that was not very convenient with 2 dogs, in the passage. I also asked if there happened to be a table free from people who were already there, if we could sit there. No, everything was reserved. Less than 3 minutes later we see a group of people doing this. A group stands up and they ask if they can sit there and they agree. Hello? We asked for this too and they arrived after us.. The waitress then said that this was because it was reserved from 7 pm and they were not coming to eat. Well, we weren't either? It was a quarter to 5 when we arrived and we were gone again at half past 5. We could have sat there. So 1 star deducted because that was not done very chic. It is also unclear. On some tables there is a letter that it is reserved and on others not so people just sit/sit somewhere.
