This afternoon we sat on the terrace in the sun. Two soft drinks and a rose And from the beer menu I opted for a grols weizer of no less than 45 cl. For the price of €6 To my surprise, this turned out to be a 30 cl bottle. So ordered another one. Also a portion of bitterballen so it was a good time. Asked for the bill and the price was €34. I rounded it up to €35. Paid in cash, but no receipt was included as requested. And I was surprised to see that the 30cl bottle was also €6. When I asked the nice waitress, she said that they used to have large bottles, but not anymore. When I asked to check this out, she came back with €1, which I had tipped. Of course this girl can't help it. But I want to say to Sunset Boulevard that I feel a little disappointed in the way things are going. You understand that I didn't take that €1

It's sweltering today, so I cycled to Katwijk. Found a spot for lunch in the shade on the terrace at Sunset Blvd. The waitress quickly came to ask if we wanted something to drink; beer of course! And put a slightly grubby and wrinkled menu in our hands. The drinks came very quickly, luckily because I was really thirsty. Then opted for the beef salad and my group a chicken salad and hamburger. There was a fairly large portion of salad topped with a good portion of steak(s) with fried peppers and mushrooms. Really tasty and well baked rosé, which I was not asked to do. The other dishes were also approved. After a few more beers brought by the lightning-fast service, we cycled home again. Good tent!

Unfortunately only card payment is possible...It wasn't full and we sat at the front, right in front of the terrace. The waitress completely ignored us, and when we asked whether we could order, the unfriendly answer was that we should do so using the QR code. I explained that only card payment was possible there and that we wanted to pay in cash. We were then advised to go somewhere else because they didn't accept cash payments... 3 other couples then left without eating, independently of us...

Cozy on the boulevard. Everything well coordinated. Friendly staff and smooth service. And here you come for good food.

Nice, tasty and cozy. What more do you want? Only had a few drinks. But what passed by our table didn't look bad.

Pity. It started with setting the table. For a children's menu (child of 2), an adult fork and knife are provided. Risotto was overcooked and looked like dough. Not a grain to be found, tasteless and nothing special at all. Neatly indicated to the staff that the risotto was not to your liking and would be reported to the kitchen. After that, no feedback or excuses from the kitchen at all. We then stated again that the risotto was not to our liking and whether something could be taken off the bill because we were not satisfied with the food. After consultation we were allowed to choose between coffee on the house or one soft drink from the bill. It's a shame, you won't see us again. Where has the Sunset of the past gone where the food is very tasty?

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Sunset Blvd last Sunday. Thanks to the creative thinking of the service and kitchen, my wife was served a delicious gluten- and lactose-free main course and dessert. Everything tasted good, just like the hamburger I enjoyed. Excellent service, highly recommended and worth repeating.

Cozy restaurant. Unfortunately, due to the many flowers, there are a lot of small flies there that like to settle in the drinks. We were there on December 26th, 2023 and no one pointed out to us that there was only one menu!!

Cozy and nice service. What I like is that there is plenty of choice, even vegetarian or with allergies. Pizzas are made from scratch in a pizza oven and I even eat the crust.

Good food! Good service. Fast, attentive and thoughtful. Nice location. The beach is exactly opposite the restaurant. The restaurant itself looks great from the inside. Lots of plants. Parking is available in the garage.

Aardig restaurant, maar er zijn betere in Katwijk.

Heerlijke plek aan de Katwijkse boulevard. Super vriendelijk personeel en snelle bediening! Kaart is veelzijdiger dan de gemiddelde strandtent en het eten was heerlijk. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Lunch op het strand is erg prijzig en druk, dit zat op nog geen 2 minuten lopen. Betaalbaar, snelle en goede service, en een ruim assortiment aan gerechten.

Veel restaurants in Katwijk, maar deze zag er het beste uit. Bij binnenkomst; onwijs leuk aangekleed. De carpaccio XXL werd aangeraden, en dit was een feestje. Zelfs met 2 personen maar net aan op gekregen. Strawberry tiramusu was heerlijk om mee af te sluiten.

Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service nett. Preislich für das gebotene recht teuer, aber das kommt halt mit der Lage.

De spareribs waren zeer mals, heel goed gegaard. De botten zijn met gemak te verwijderen en komen schoon uit de ribs. De spareribs werden geserveerd met een sausje, maar deze heb ik volledig genegeerd aangezien de ribs en de marinade zelf al vol van smaak waren. Daarnaast was de bediening erg gezellig, maakten graag een praatje ipv alleen een standaard riedeltje te vertellen. Wist ook goed aan te voelen wanneer hij de gasten weer aan hun eigen gesprek over moest laten. Ook fijn dat wij onze accus mochten opladen.

Erg mooie plek, vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk ontspannen sfeer met dito muziek en erg lekker eten. hebben zowel het diner als ontbijt geprobeerd (tip, pancakes met spek bestellen). Zou hier zeker terugkomen

Ich habe in meinem Urlaub in vielen Restaurants der Stadt gegessen und keines hat mich so überzeugt wie dieses. Wir haben heute morgen hier gefrühstückt und das hat mich überzeugt, dass wir zum Abendessen wieder gekommen sind. Es war super Lecker und ein Geschmackserlebnis. Kochen auf einem sehr hohen Level. Ich komme gerne wieder und Preis Leistung war mehr als Fair.

Vanmiddag zijn wij wezen lunchen. Wat een mooie zaak en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Wij hebben genoten van de overheerlijke carpaccio XXL.

We hebben bij Sunset een heerlijke lunch gehad met vrienden, voldoende keus, de porties waren voldoende en smaakvol.

Weliswaar smaakte het ontbijt goed (was wel peperduur voor zo iets eenvoudigs) en het personeel was heel vriendelijk, maar de muziek vond ik meer iets voor een disco avond en achter de theke was een medewerkster steeds vies aan het hoesten. Niet bepaald uitnodigend.

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung und schönes Ambiente...sehr zu empfehlen!

Na de start van onze reis met de motor was onze eerste hier. Hier hebben we heerlijk genoten van een overheerlijk broodje met zalm 😋 Je kan er heerlijk zitten het personeel is aardig en behulpzaam en zoals je ziet het eten is heerlijk😁👍🏻 Aanrader!

Mooi restaurant met prettige sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. Eten viel helaas vies tegen. Schnitzel besteld, deze waren in de frituur bereid en keihard. Niet verwacht bij dit restaurant. Voor ons helaas geen tweede keer.
