Via social deal hier geboekt. Bediening kwam ongeïnteresseerd over en de sushi leek niet vers. Ik twijfel over de hygiëne aangezien de gefrituurde garnaal erg bruin was en geserveerd werd op een vies bordje, bij aangeven zeiden ze dat dit nog oude crème brulee was. Bezoekers naast ons kregen bier dat over de datum was. Uiteindelijk hebben wij wel gedeelte geld terug gekregen.

I'm not happy with my order and delivery! I ordered at 6:00 PM and it wasn't delivered until 7:20 PM. 45 minutes after ordering, I was told it had been delivered, but it hadn't. The sushi also tasted like it was 1 or 2 days old. It didn't even taste fresh, far from it. Ginger wasn't even a good addition. I'm very disappointed, and I won't be ordering from here again.

It was very cold in there. The sushi was decent but very cold inside. All the fried snacks tasted of old grease. The teriyaki salmon was overcooked and soaked in sauce. We were greeted by a little boy in a large Jack & Jones hoodie and sat under a large lamp. In short, not a pleasant experience and a shame about our evening with a dinner voucher.

We felt cold in the room. The taste of the sushi (mainly inside out) was good. However, the quality left much to be desired. We had to look for this piece (1 x 1 cm) at the sushi that should have a piece of flambéed tuna on it. The sushi salmon with cheese consisted largely of a bite of cream cheese, with a little salmon. We ordered a bowl of beef teriyaki, a tasty bowl full on the menu. In reality a bowl that was about 1/4 full. Just like the fried prawn, we got no less than one. The fried dishes all tasted the same and like old oil. Some dishes were not in the digital system but turned out to be partially present. And 10 ice blocks in a glass of ice tea is really too much...

The sushi was downright bad. You could taste that this was not freshly prepared but was taken straight from the refrigerator. It was also dry and very tough. The herbs were completely absorbed. No effort was made in terms of garnish. The fried food had been in the fryer for far too long. Crack hard dough around it. Also no sauces or garnishes. We thought it was a real disappointment and definitely not worth the money. The dessert there and then was tasty. We indicated at checkout that we were not satisfied. We were told that the feedback is welcome and he was going to pass it on to the kitchen. This was it. In any case, we won't be coming here again. What should have been a night out together had turned out to be a disappointment.

The food was good, lots of variety and more than enough! It's annoying when you're still doing your rounds and you're always asked if they can remove signs. But the toilets were very dirty, the ladies toilet smelled strongly of urine and there was no more toilet paper😱 And the men's toilet was full of 💩💦 splashes... Those floors were sticky when you walked over them. I honestly find this very dirty... It was fun, the food was good, but I wouldn't go again for this reason

I ate here once when it was new. That was absolutely great! Unfortunately, this evening was not worth the 90 euros. The dishes didn't exactly seem fresh, but warmed up. In addition, the cutlery was not really clean and there was quite loud, upbeat music playing. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I both have an uneasy stomach... Not worth repeating.

Ate via social deal. Sushi was tasty, however; dishes did not look like they did on the menu (not even a little), service was slow but friendly, it first took 20 minutes before we got drinks and at the end another 20 minutes before we got our desserts (so the whipped cream was nothing left). I walked to the bar several times because something was wrong, we did not receive dishes that we had ordered, the restaurant was dirty, the windows were dirty, toilets were completely dirty. There was a mouse in the restaurant (that says enough about hygiene), we told the staff but they did nothing about it. The heating was broken, they can't do anything about that, but upon arrival the staff indicated that we were getting coffee and tea on the house. However, when they left, they forgot so I had to remind them. Bad tent, very unfortunate. Luckily I had a nice evening with my company!

I often eat sushi and am critical of the quality. My expectations were not high with a review score of 3.5, but it turns out that a review score does not say everything. The sushi was wonderfully fresh with (much) more filling than rice, the salads were rich and the dishes were tasty and well presented. In short, I am very positively surprised!

Ate here after Dickens. It was really cold in the restaurant. Other tables were also affected. The toilet was incredibly dirty. The floor was sticky, all the hair on the glasses was really gross. The food was mediocre. Much of it was very cold, so it came out of the refrigerator. And some of it was gone. Only after ordering the same thing 5 times and not receiving anything did she tell me it was gone. The food was also bland. Some sushi had little taste. There are much better tents for the money.

My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. After just two rounds we were told the meat was gone even though we had only been sitting for 40 minutes. I really don't think that's possible, especially with an all-you-can-eat concept. In addition, the sushi was absolutely not fresh, which also made the dining experience less pleasant. When we ordered desserts, it took a long time before anything arrived. In the end we only got half of what we ordered. After waiting another 15 minutes, I went to the staff myself. Then they were told laconically that the desserts were finished, without any form of apology or compensation. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, you can really expect more in terms of service and quality.

Delicious food, but some dishes were not very hot. And it wasn't very busy when we were there, but clearing was not that fast, so the table was always way too full. We placed it on a table next to us where it remained. A bit of a shame because there were enough staff. What a toilet looks like says something about the kitchen, as the saying goes. Here the toilet was gross and no toilet paper and no towels. Someone from the kitchen, probably a cook, went into the kitchen after visiting the toilet without washing hands. Price/quality does not match. Very disappointing. Several orders not served, tiramisu was gone. Food was also disappointing.

If you fancy an evening of surprises, Sushi by Me is the place for you! We walked in, full of enthusiasm and hunger, ready to eat our fill. What we didn't know, however, is that we were apparently on some sort of hidden 'sushi race' – and the time was ticking without anyone telling us we only had 2 hours! We started ordering quietly, but it soon became clear that it wasn't just about time... Oh no, the portions were so small that for a moment I thought I was in a dollhouse. Have you ever seen a mini sushi roll? Well, I do now! And then the sauces... or yes, the lack thereof. It looked like they had hidden their sauces for a secret mission. And some orders? Just crazy. They probably took a one-way ticket to the kitchen and stayed there to extend our wait time. By the way, imagine this: you're waiting for your sushi that never comes, and then after 2 hours you hear that your time is up. How? We didn't even know we were on a clock! Could someone have just said that? Now our evening became even shorter and we missed a few courses because we kept waiting. In short, if you love sushi and want to throw a little mystery into your evening, this is the place to be! But if you prefer not to leave hungry and without sauces, then I would look further...

After a while I went again, but it has really become less. Staff don't know how to deal with customers. Open discussions about table numbers, not addressing customers properly, eating the wrong food at the tables, wanting to clear plates while there is still food on them and eating. Someone who falls through a chair because the leg is bad and then looks and does nothing. The sushi is also really of lower quality. Too bad about the tent because it was once really of higher quality.

We were given a nice table outside on the terrace, unfortunately the menus were very dirty and so I had to ask to have them cleaned. From the moment we could order everything took way too long before we got our food, the miso soup was served as if someone had already eaten it (half empty and dirty bowl). The chicken was bone dry, the photos of the dishes on the iPad do not match what you get at all. No garnishes and no sauces with dishes where you would expect them. The sushi was not fresh just like many other dishes were not. Very disappointing, when you go out to eat you want to enjoy and not be frustrated.

The food is average. The dishes taste monotonous, the rib is not very fresh. The tuna is very dry and dark (I know what tuna should be like in sushi). Sushi in panki breadcrumbs arrived not crispy, but like a sponge. The avocado was black. And most importantly, I ordered a pokebowl, they didn’t bring it to me. The evening started well and the sirloin steak slices were certainly good. But after that it went downhill. Long waiting times (waited 30 minutes for dessert and when we asked where it was, we were told that a chef had just arrived at the cold station...), orders that we did not receive, the fried food was still dripping in grease. Certainly not the worst sushi place we have ever eaten at, but it can certainly be better.

Bad restaurant?? Have eaten regularly and have never been told when we came in at 2:05 PM that we could only do all you can eat until 3:00 PM, so 55 minutes?? They advertise all you can eat until 3 p.m. for a low/lunch rate of €23.50 instead of the evening rate of €38.-. This means that you can come in until 3:00 PM, I think, because the site does NOT indicate that you can only have a cheap lunch for 1 hour from 2:00 PM, for example???? Now the evening rate of € 38 starts at 3 p.m., they are scammers. We will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

There was no love in the dishes. Sauce was often forgotten to add. Steak and lamb very raw. Beef tataki was so salty that it was completely soaked in the soy sauce. The presentation of the dishes could have been better. Someone was cleaning the toilet there, but the toilet and toilet seat were completely wet with a blue dish cloth. The water was still dripping off! The cloth that I used for a kind of bottle cooler was also still at the sink.

After having eaten here twice before during a day in Deventer, we decided to eat here again this year (April 30). It was noticed that the price was higher and that we were only allowed to sit for two hours for an all you can eat. We sat on the terrace, the weather was lovely. We received the tablet to order and saw that it was still dirty from previous orders. It hadn't been covered up in a while. The food was also very disappointing. Very small portions and not fresh. The raw tuna had 50 shades of gray. The chicken salad consisted of some iceberg salad with a kind of cut chicken nugget. The sushi with egg had a dried-up sheet of dark yellow egg. Hot dishes are not warm, have been left out for too long or have been prepared much earlier, perhaps days ago. Portion of mussels consisted of 3 mussels. Or in other words, old tasteless old cold food for the top prize. After having eaten here twice before (a few years ago), we will never do this again. And judging by recent reviews, we're not the only ones. Something has changed/went wrong here recently.

Very bad, sushi was clearly not fresh and neither were the hot dishes (came from the microwave perhaps?) the service was very disinterested and not cheerful at all, it was not even possible to say good evening. The decoration of the restaurant looked promising and very beautiful but the food was the opposite. The pictures on the tablet do not match, dishes are very small. We got the spring roll in a soy sauce container? All in all, not recommended. There are certainly better sushi restaurants in the area. Sushi by me is not worth it.

That is possible if everything is full, but during the evening that turned out to be absolutely not. Few skilled staff in the restaurant and will not be much different in the kitchen. Unfortunately, after having had a good and pleasant meal here for a number of years, today was a real letdown. We took my mother for her birthday. Together with my wife and daughter. Now our daughter has an extremely severe cow's milk and nut allergy. This was always well arranged in the past. However, the menu had been adjusted, but the allergy menu had not. This does not correspond to the number on the tablet. We had been sitting for more than 15 minutes and had to ask for the tablet before ordering. I had also indicated several times that a separate tablet had to be provided for my daughter due to the allergy. That also took another 20 minutes. When it turned out that the products on the tablet did not match the allergen card. It was enough for our daughter but also for us. We didn't want to take the risk that she would be taken away by ambulance. This is a shame because once again this was previously well arranged. More people were complaining because they had to wait a long time for orders. All in all, we ordered sushi at home from our regular delivery service and had a nice evening.

We didn't eat anything, because the allergen list for allergies did not match the dish numbers on the tablet. In one word: no. In more words: We visited Sushi by Me in beautiful Deventer. Past experiences do not guarantee the future, it is often mentioned in advertisements. Unfortunately, that is also an incidental fact in this case. The sushi rolls used to be made at/behind the bar. That is no longer the case. Everything comes from the back of the restaurant and my guess is that everything is made in advance. The sushi is cold, rice is flat, I think it comes from the refrigerator. The meat dishes in the bowls are lukewarm (microwave?). The size of the portions is shocking. The garnish was not there or was already a few days old. The two young ladies serving tried very hard, but unfortunately without a good experienced restaurant manager. Look and shudder at the photos of the dishes made. We secretly laughed. If this restaurant wants to survive 2023, I advise the owner to quickly copy the art from competitors such as Trinibra, BlueSakura, Monster Sushi or ShabuShabu. Or reduce the rates far below those of these competitors because this is really no longer possible.

This restaurant is cozy and warmly decorated. Good furniture. The food was less compared to yumi and so was the choice. Drinks cost almost €4.00 per bottle, which I thought was quite reasonable. If I want to sit comfortably I go here, if I want to eat good food I go to Yumi.

Ate with a large group. Everything went wrong tonight: employees sick, chef sick, deliveries missed, the tablets were confused. We got food we didn't order and didn't get what we ordered. But... the food was delicious, we ate our fill, the staff worked really hard and remained friendly and understanding, and they thought flexibly within the possibilities. Kudos to these often young people! We had a wonderful evening and will definitely come back again.

Never again this sushi place! What a disappointment. The food was disappointing and we did not have many dishes. Not even after ordering again. It also took a very long time before you got anything to eat and after 2 hours you can no longer order. Certainly did not eat enough because it took a very long time before you received the next dishes. We also ordered autumn buck and they arrived with a draft beer. It was said that it is spring buck😏. But calculate the price of a buck. The table was cleared very poorly. At one point we had half a table full of dirty bowls and plates. The staff wasn't super friendly either. What a mockery this tent!

Toilets dirty, too few staff (were later flown in from other businesses), clerk walks down with an empty tray at the start (our table was packed so it was placed on an empty table next to us). And it took a long time, dishes came with too long intervals and meat was lukewarm/cold. Have had better terriyaki, this one was bland. Dishes that did not arrive or were much too late. Service friendly and understanding, although the place is often full, it seems to me, on a Saturday evening. So it was varied and tasty, the ambiance was good!

After almost 1.5 hours we still haven't received all the dishes from the first order...it's really worthless to wait that long. No more containers on the table with wasabi and the like. Point 2: the tiramisu was of low quality (not edible) Point 3: the spicy tuna was TOO spicy Point 4: the tablet was not on the right table, which was also very annoying Point 5: we suddenly couldn't order anything anymore, we would have liked something else as the tiramisu was very disappointing.

We were very disappointed. Upon entering, it was stated that the toilet was extremely dirty and there was poop and toilet paper everywhere. After an hour one of our children went to the toilet again and it was exactly the same. The windows were covered in dirty grease splatters and the floor was full of rubbish, even though we were one of the first visitors at 5 p.m. Everything was dirty in this place. The food was also very tasteless and certainly not fresh. This was reported to the so-called manager, but the blame for all comments was passed on to her other colleagues. During checkout we wanted to pay in cash, but this initially turned out not to be possible as it is a pin only restaurant, very customer unfriendly

This Sushi restaurant I recently visited was absolutely disappointing. There was little variety in the menu and an abundance of fried food that didn't taste good. The service left a lot to be desired and was extremely slow. It took a full hour for our first ordered round to arrive, and considering you only have two hours, this was unacceptable. Additionally, a blonde employee seemed more interested in drying wine glasses than cleaning up our dirty table. When I asked why the food took so long, I received a blunt answer, simply pointing to the hustle and bustle in the kitchen.

The food was tasty, but that's about all the positives… When we were seated we had to wait a very long time before we could order because we didn't have a tablet. When we were finally able to order food and drinks, the real long wait began…. After more than half an hour we got our first drink. After more than an hour we received 3 pieces of sushi. It took another 30 minutes before several dishes arrived. We ordered 4 rounds of 10 dishes, half of which never came. After ordering a new round, 1 or 2 dishes arrived. Dishes from a previous round did not arrive or arrived later. One person from the service apologized for the long wait. His colleague brought new dishes while the table was full of empty plates, which were not taken. The tables of guests who were leaving were also not cleared. It was a big mess. 1 of the staff members started sweeping the floor while others were still eating a meter away, unappetizing. One of the chefs was visibly eating while we and others were waiting for food, very special... In the end the bill was compensated which ended up being one of the few positive points. We certainly do not recommend this restaurant and we will not go here again. Unfortunately, we were not the only customers who complained.

Very bad experience in terms of delivery. Ordered via the site at 5 p.m. This indicates an expected delivery time of 30 minutes. The order was finally delivered at 7pm... 2 hours after ordering. During those 2 hours, I contacted and texted by phone with apparently a delivery person who makes promises that he cannot keep. Apparently they allow an hour for delivery, it would be nice if this was indicated on the site and in the order information. And then we ended up waiting an extra hour because we were already waiting. No compensation possible.
