I understand everyone wants their food delivered on time, but that cart of theirs drives REALLY fast through the streets here. The maximum speed here is 30 km/h, but it's at least twice that. The restaurant and food used to be better. They've deteriorated dramatically in the last year.

The food itself was good. It could have had a little more flavor. After ordering, the food was delivered fairly quickly. Compared to other similar restaurants, the choice is somewhat smaller. If you are a wine lover, you can order a bottle of wine for €31.50. We thought this was quite on the pricey side for the quality. As for the atmosphere of the restaurant; It is not too crowded, which is good. Only in terms of fun it was a bit disappointing for us. Prices of the all you can eat concept are ok. €39.50.

Poor quality sushi. Sushi rice falls apart, fish doesn't taste fresh. Ordering via mobile using QR code took a bit long. Drinks were not included in the price. 1 adult and 1 child aged 7 years total 81 euros. It wasn't worth the money.

The food was broom salt! All dishes. Some dishes not up to temperature. Waiting time too long for dishes, had to ask for the dishes several times. Ultimately didn't get the last round. But paid for. Never again this restaurant for me. Definitely not recommended.

This takeaway sushi was very tasteless. Quite expensive, small portions. The rice was very hard and there was very little fish in the sushi rolls and hand roll. It was reminiscent of sushi from the supermarket, but even less tasty fish. The wakame salad contained a lot of mayo and iceberg lettuce and little seaweed. But the wasabi and ginger tasted good. The service was very friendly.

I eat here very regularly because I generally like the food and it is close by. However, it's ridiculous how long I sometimes have to wait (especially on weekends) between rounds for the food to arrive. The sushi comes quite quickly, but for example steak or chicken I sometimes almost have to order twice because it is not there yet from the 1st round while you are already in your 3rd sin. We also deliberately went on time today with 2 3-year-old kids. Ordered a 3rd round at 6:40 PM which was also the last for us and at 7:20 PM still nothing. So I ordered dessert in advance because the kids have run out of patience. It was ready just before we wanted to leave at 7:30 PM, but unfortunately I had to let this go. It is therefore not at all accessible to children and, in my opinion, the owner is not very friendly towards children. I think this is a shame because I am a regular customer but this does not seem to be appreciated. So you are increasingly chasing away a regular customer

We made a reservation yesterday at 5 p.m. and at 5:40 p.m. the first order only came... And there was only 1 other table occupied at the time, we were already thinking about how things should go here when it is a bit busier....? The sushi was OK, but you no longer had to pay extra for a lot of sushi. Quite a lot of sushi ordered just didn't arrive. The place was busy in the meantime, the staff was quite busy. At 7.20 pm we ordered ice cream, which was not yet available at 1945, so I passed on that, but it turned out that it had not arrived and would therefore be prepared immediately. At 8.20pm still no ice, we decided to go and then they came with the ice. I don't think we'll come here again

It was a terrible experience. It took a very long time for the food to arrive. By round 3 we had not yet received the food from round 1. In addition, the food we received was not tasty. I have never seen such small sushi rolls that fall apart before. Rice was dry and the fish had probably been in the refrigerator for a while. After a few rounds we still hadn't gotten everything. The dessert took a very long time. We then asked where it was, after which it turned out that there was a malfunction. Furthermore, this was not communicated to us. After asking it took another half hour for 4 desserts and a coffee. By the way, this was after closing time. In addition, there were exactly 2 other tables. We indicated this at checkout. As if it wasn't bad enough, we were told that we should have reported this earlier. So in short, it was our responsibility to make sure we got food on the table. We left without any apologies from the staff. I especially recommend it for an evening of long waiting and bad food. In any case, we will never come back here again.

Very very mediocre food. it's just bad really. They charge €2.50 for the nigiri sushi, but what you get is 3 cm of rice with a very small piece on top. In addition to some Chinese dishes, we also ordered sushi. What you see in the photo is an order of €20 worth of sushi. Emperor Akihito would turn in his grave if he saw and tasted this. If you have any criticism or complaint, the owner immediately becomes angry and there is no understanding. They are lucky that there is so much demand in Castricum.

We've been getting takeout here for years and it's usually been delicious. Now I got a spring roll that was cold and greasy and had no taste at all and the tomato soup was even worse, it smelled and tasted like pickles, very sour. Sent an email about this but did not receive any response, which we think is a great shame because we thought an apology or an explanation was appropriate. Now switch to Jasmin Garden and hope that the quality is consistent there.

The quality of the sushi and other dishes is good. Although we were one of the first, orders sometimes took a long time. We were served sushi that we had not ordered. Ordered banana sushi in rounds 1 and 2. Didn't come in both rounds. After asking 3 more times, it was finally brought. This is a downer. I often go to a sushi restaurant with an all you can eat concept, but there were many products here that required a significant extra charge. The house wine tasted good, unfortunately they sell Pepsi and not Coca Cola. The decor is nice, but tables are close together.

Ate here tonight. Older and cold sushi of which only the salmon was fresh. The rest was prepared in advance which you could see and taste. All sushi was tasteless and not at all how it should be. We had no cutlery, after reporting twice this finally arrived. It wasn't busy, but a lot went wrong. Dishes were only removed after asking if they could be removed. The hot dishes were almost cold and to top it off we had creme brulee and ice cream for dessert which the girl said was hot... it was just cold. Ice cream was 1 pathetic little scoop with a drop of whipped cream. For us, never again, we will go to someone else.

Sushi was not tasty, not fresh and way too sweet. Long waiting times, young and inexperienced staff, who did their best, so you can't blame them. Not a pleasant meal due to long waiting times and separate dishes, so you could hardly eat together. Feels like an assembly line, fast food restaurant. Impersonal and ordering by telephone. Many dishes not tasty, for example salmon salad very scanty and dry handrolls. A waste of the 80 euros we paid. I don't like to be negative, but unfortunately I can't make more of it.

I don't know why the quality has to be so bad. And this wasn't the first time. Anyway....I ordered it again because the last time was quite good. So now it was delivered again, but now it was substandard again. Ordered several dishes for a considerable amount, but several containers had cooled down considerably, a lot of pangang a lot of sauce and little meat mixed together in small pieces, crispy fried chicken was limp and lukewarm, Bami was cold and looked old, Sate minimally on a stick, prawn crackers tough, spring roll included...... this one was too dark and limp, so not crispy and waited too long for delivery. Called and ordered a new one, after which it was thrown away because it seemed to taste insufficient and almost spoiled.... damn. Why is everything fresh? We also ate in the restaurant a few times.....had to wait too long for the dishes or were asked several times where the food was for far too high an amount. This is an embarrassment to you as a restaurant and the owner is simply having none of it. This rating has been posted after several bad experiences. After making this known to the owner, there was still no improvement noted......

Nice tent, service was top notch, food was fine when it was delivered!! I think the kitchen did its best to prepare everything on time, but as it became busier there was quite a long waiting time and that was not good. from the appetite of the customers, the food was also great, especially the sushi!! Had a nice seat despite the waiting times!! Atmosphere still needs to be created, but I think the rooms could be opened up a bit due to the tables and spatial layout!!

Last week we went with 4 families, we often went there with a larger group. I'm writing this so that you know in advance what you are getting into if you decide to eat here. Was always fine, not very special, but fun, easy and tasty with a large group. NOW NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! The waiting times for orders are very long. For example: Ordered beef 4x, NOT GOT IT 1x! Several dishes were simply not brought. Said regularly. Staff can't do anything about it! They do everything they can to help. Ultimately, time had to be extended 3 times. Sat for 4.5 hours and didn't eat enough. To top it all off, we received coffee milk with the coffee that has a shelf life until October 2023. And not 1, but all the cups. Only the drinks are delivered very quickly (well........... that's where the most money is made) The owner talked her way out of it very irritatingly. Ultimately we received a discount, but given the whole situation that is happening, it is not a good experience for us.

Ate with 3 people, waited about 20-30 minutes per round for 2 or 3 dishes, and the food wasn't even that spectacular for that waiting time. Even for our dessert (which consisted of a few scoops of ice cream) we had to wait almost 30 minutes. If you are with a family, 2 hours with these waiting times is really not enough. If you want to be served quickly, I would mainly order sushi, because the hot dishes take far too long. Waiting 45 minutes for a small bowl of ramen. Didn't eat much, mostly waited. Interesting experience, I wouldn't come back here.

Service is minimal, for example they do not collect empty glasses/bottles when they come to serve new drinks. Then all orders take 30 minutes or longer with peaks of 45 minutes and it is also possible that your dishes do not arrive at all. If you have to wait a long time for a dish, you would expect it to be good and warm. Unfortunately…. Dishes are not prepared properly, lukewarm or even cold. When you speak to the staff about this, you immediately notice that you are dealing with extremely young and incompetent staff. When the owner then comes, she asks what you want... Because then she can "arrange" it in the kitchen. If you ask how long this will take, she cannot answer that. I have now realized that several guests are complaining and that the staff does not know how to deal with this. She then comes to the table to ask what she can do to have the missing dishes prepared by the kitchen. After we were completely done with it, we wanted to pay. The hostess on duty knew what time it was and apologized and wanted to compensate for the inconvenience with two drinks. Which is of course not proportionate. I replied that I expected a 25% discount on the menu. This had to be discussed with the boss. This took an extremely long time, just like the food. You would expect several dissatisfied customers to ring a bell. The guests in front of us also complained loudly when paying and another couple in the restaurant also loudly. It took so long that I said it will be taken care of now or I will just walk away. After a few minutes the boss appears to give a 10% discount. I say I expect 25% for this bad experience. With sighs and groans plus a sneer, it is brought to 20%. I paid without tip and left. This restaurateur does not understand that placing so many people in the restaurant will cause them a lot of trouble. Too bad, but they are also not solution-oriented.

The sushi is very tasty, a good reason to come back again. The teppanyaki was a bit less and I wouldn't order it again next time. Ordering via the digital card is easy. At the beginning of the evening it was quiet and the food was served quickly. As it got busier it could take 30-45 minutes before the food was served. It was also very common for the incorrect food to be served. Sakuro certainly needs to improve on that.

Went for dinner on Saturday evening with 3 people at 5.45 pm, the place was quite full. We could not order Chinese, we were recommended the Japanese 'all you can eat' for €33 pp. God what an annoyance, very long waiting times, if anything came it was 1 or 2 things. So there was no communal eating. It cannot be due to the cooking times, the seaweed salad came last after repeated requests, and was one of the first ordered. With a time slot of 2 hours, a fixed amount to pay and very slow service, it is clear what the revenue model is of this concept! Not much 'all you can eat' this way, a buffet is better as a customer. This is NOT worth repeating.

Maar daar is Sake uitstekend voor om wat warm te worden. 28 juli 2022 Weer heerlijk gegeten, altijd weer genieten daar.!!! 23 juli 2022 Met een vriendin weer genoten van de heerlijke sushi en bbq gerechten. Weer heerlijk gezeten! 8 november 2021. Weer heerlijk sushi gegeten.!! Ze hebben nu ook een mooi bestel systeem, werk super makkelijk. Drankjes bestellen gaat nu lekker snel. De Sushi is goed en het eten komt snel. De bediening is vriendelijk en doet erg zijn best. De sojasaus wordt aangelengd met water en heeft daardoor weinig smaak. Het meubilair is hier en daar aan vervanging toe.

Al jaren ons favoriete sushi restaurant. Ook de gerechten naast de sushi zijn heerlijk. Zie veel klachten over lang wachten. Hier de afgelopen 50 keer nooit last van gehad. Kies gevarieerd per ronde dus wat sushi,teppanyaki,frituur en bbq. Zo krijg je altijd wel wat snel. Kies je enkel sushi? Tja word vers klaargemaakt heb je 10 tafels voor je? Vanavond met 5 personen hier gegeten, zaten al een uur aan tafel voordat er iets te eten kwam,twee mensen hebben 1,5 uur moeten wachten voor ze 1 gerechtje kregen. Schandalig meerdere keren gevraagd waar het bleef ook kunnen ze het niet aan te kort personeel en te weinig koks in de keuken. Een gezellig avondje uit eten kun je hier beter niet doen,een hoop geld kwijt voor slecht eten en super slechte service.

Zaterdag 1-4-2023 gegeten en wat betreft het eten goed te doen. Helaas moesten we per bestelling 45/50 minuten wachten en was het een verrassing of je de gehele bestelling wel zou ontvangen. Het langste duurde meestal de sushi. Ook kon het zijn dat je gerechten ontving van een andere tafel. In principe reserveer je een tafel voor 2,5 uur, maar verlengen kun je gratis aanvragen. De bestelrondes geef je door via een bestelongeving via je eigen mobiele telefoon. Wat achteraf ook grappig was dat onze "kosten" nog ingevoerd moesten worden toen we wilden betalen. Het invoeren gebeurden in een heel ouderwets ms dos achtig scherm.

De sushi is de beste die ik ooit gegeten heb, maar ook de tepanyaki en BBQ gerechten zijn top. Malse biefstuk heerlijk gekruide kip en leuke echte Japanse bijgerechten. De sfeer is vrolijk en de bediening bijzonder vriendelijk. Mijn favoriete restaurant! Absolute aanrader

Eten was prima, alleen niet alles wat we besteld hadden kwam door. Personeel was onervaren en niet echt professioneel, dat past niet bij de het bedrag wat betaald moest worden. Restaurant is mooi en sfeervol maar tafels te dicht op elkaar.

Eten was oke, sushi leek niet vers. Grill was goed. Maar als meneertje ober komt, en zegt dat we extra moeten betalen voor al het eten wat we eventueel laten staan, heb je er al gouw geen zin meer in.

Niks gezelliger dan een sfeerloze avond met matig tot slecht eten. Mijn vriendin en ik besloten om last minute uit eten te gaan en achteraf gezien hadden we beter thuis kunnen blijven. Bij aankomst was de sfeer (ondanks het vriendelijke ontvangst) erg koud en stil, achteraf klopte dit ook wel aangezien er geen muziek aan stond op de achtergrond en je van ieders conversatie mee kon genieten. Maar ach fijn we hoopte dat het eten de ervaring zou redden. Helaas was dit niet het geval, de meeste items waren erg matig en sommige zelf best vies (de maki met zalm en mango was er daar 1 van, keiharde mango en zalm zo dun gesneden dat je die er net zo goed niet op kon doen) Drinken vragen was de eerste ronde ook een uitdaging, na 4 keer vragen kregen we eindelijk ons drinken Kortom was de ervaring net als het meubilair daar... op het eerste ooh wel prima totdat je stuk voor stuk begint op te vallen wat er mis is (zie foto). Sakura is naar mijn ervaring de McDonald's onder de sushi restaurants, voor een betere ervaring voor dezelfde prijs ga ik liever ergens anders heen. Zeer spijtig.

Goed en lekker eten. Gisteravond gemiddeld tussen een halfuur en uur moeten wachten op eten. Na 1,5 uur kwamen er nog wat gerechten uit de 2e bestelronde. Ook meer dan een halfuur moeten wachten op drinken. Schijnt allemaal normaal te zijn volgens de bediening.

De sushi was erg lekker ik had het op tijd besteld en het was precies op tijd klaar om af te halen. Bovendien zat er nog een verassing sushi bij, wat ook leuk is, want dan kan je weer eens wat anders proeven dan wat je normaal kiest.

We had a good experience. The sushi is delicious and there is a pretty decent varaiety of other menu options. Price is also fair, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Would have been even better if there were more dessert options. Lacationwise also good, right next to the trainstation and centric (if you can call it a centre)

We gingen hier gister, op een drukke warme dag, lunchen op het terras. We vroegen ons af wat het verschil zou zijn tussen een kleine en grote Caesar salade. De kleine kost €16,- en de grote €27,-. We namen de grote. Wat een teleurstelling voor zoveel geld! 1 eitje, 4 tomaatjes, paar stukjes kip. Heel veel blaadjes sla die nog kletsnat waren waardoor je een lading water in het bord had. Veel te weinig smaak. Extra ansjovis dressing gevraagd. Wat krijg je dan als je een kleine salade besteld? Een half ei en 2 tomaten? We voelden ons echt opgelicht. De kinder pizza was trouwens wel oké.

Ambiente and food for adults were fine. I was a little bit disappointed by the kids pasta. It was very small and the pasta was definitely not cooked long enough, so my daughter didn't like it. I told the waiter but they still charged it on the bill.

For this price (€300 for 3 people), I've eaten better elsewhere. The service does what it should, but don't expect much from them.
