Sushi Koi Arnhem in Centrum

Okay for a sushi restaurant, but we wouldn't go back. There are better sushi places than this one.

Great food, fast service, brilliant quality food! Highly recommend!

I make a reservation for six people, a little disappointed today because there is no ice cream and chocolate milk, and I also don't like the behavior of the Asian male at the cash register, I'll pay.

We had a great evening at Koi Sushi Arnhem. The all-you-can-eat menu was extensive and featured a wide variety of dishes. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared! Unfortunately, the music wasn't playing for much of our evening, which made the atmosphere feel a bit uninviting, despite the restaurant's beautiful decor. The food also arrived faster than the drinks, but upon request, the friendly staff quickly addressed this!

A tip, the food is a lot. So if you're with 2 people, let's say 4 dishes each round is enough. Anyway the food was suppeerrr delicious I never ate so much in my life. Would love to go back and try everything

I think my tastes have changed a bit because I hear from all sorts of people that the food is great, but I also don't think it's as good as, say, 10 years ago. The bright lighting doesn't make it any more inviting either.

I am writing this review as a vegetarian and the food I had was pretty good but fundamentally lacking sufficient protein. I saw a menu from three years ago which had loads of tofu and egg dishes but unfortunately not anymore. Also I have a huge problem with the miso aubergine dish. I was expecting a nice slice of aubergine in a good sauce. It was literally half an aubergine with just a slathering of pure miso on it. That much miso is just overwhelming and I (and everyone else at the table) found it completely inedible. Get rid of the aubergine (or do it right) and bring back some hot tofu dishes!

A good sushi restaurant that uses a QR code and the all-you-can-eat concept. Everyone at the table uses their own phone. The dishes are delicious, but a bit too much sauce (especially on the maki). Desserts and sweets are included. I miss the fries sauce or ketchup with the fried dishes, and there are no squid rings (!) How is that possible? The staff is hard-working, friendly, and professional. The restaurant's decor is beautiful and exudes a relaxed atmosphere. Very satisfied after my visit and will definitely return.

Atmosphereless and it's been a long time since I had such bad sushi. Really way too salty and prepared without care. So salty that you couldn't even taste the sushi rice. In addition, the tuna sashimi was cut way too thick (almost a cm thick). That is not good food and shows that the chef doesn't know much about it. Other snacks are fine but not always fresh. I won't go here again.

Nice location, Food was delicious, had a nice company outing. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to wait (especially for drinks). Very clear what you can and cannot eat with allergies, very handy!

It is a "good" restaurant if you look at service. Unfortunately the space and the decoration are not an atmospheric style, it feels like I'm walking into a dentist's office, everything has to be modern and luxurious, while sushi restaurants often have a cozy and relaxed vibe. The quality of the food was decent, especially for the price! The service was excellent!

Visited here on June 9, 2025 (1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.) First of all: The sushi was delicious, and the €10 flat-rate drinks package was perfect for me. I received a friendly welcome and was shown to my table. A simple restaurant with an open kitchen. The menu is extensive, and I find ordering via tablet very convenient. However, the table, tablet, glasses, and spoons for coffee and dessert were not clean. As a guest, I could see that spoons? Plates? were being washed by hand in the kitchen and dried by the waiter at the pass (food counter). All-round service... Serving, clearing, wiping and drying the table. All without washing hands, though. When the waiter cleared the table, you could smell that he was coming back from his cigarette break. Especially when he moved his hands. (I'm a smoker myself.) As I wrote, the sushi was delicious, but unfortunately, due to hygiene concerns, I won't be coming back.

We ordered "all in" menu for two hours. Perfect , fresh, delicious, fast !

Delicious food there. During the week it is less busy than in the weekend. Action with all inclusive drinks is great. Eur 10 normal price. Now eur 5 🥳. We really enjoyed it.

Scrumptious food but had to wait a long time for our first serving. If you are looking for a romantic, quiet dinner date then this is not the place to go to. Can be rather busy and loud with people talking/laughing. The chocolate martini was very diluted, so, that i didnt enjoy.

I had lunch here!!! Super satisfied! The fresh noodles from the pan! The fresh salmon from the pan! Delicious sushi! LOVE!! Thanks as well because they have promotions for drinks menu, both for alcoholic and others! I’ll come back.

We went early to still be in lunch deal time, which is a lot fairer price. Because there were few customers we got all our orders really quickly.

We have lost count of how many times we have been here. Food is always fast, no matter how busy it is. Very friendly staff!

Limited choices, No lamb steak, no mosselen, no squid, no tempura, need to pay €2 for ice cream, gyoza very soggy, sesame ballen not cooked with white dough inside. Fried veg I bathed in sauce… waiter/ waitress not experienced and couldn’t really communicate well .

The food tastes incredibly good and there is a huge selection. The staff are friendly and the food is delivered quickly. Especially for the price, just great!

Good service, tasty and fresh food, top price-quality comparison! Large selection and all-in drinks for 10 euros is really fantastic! Have often eaten with friends and family and it is always delicious.

I couldn't give much for this. Food: very poor! You get little. Sushi was okay in itself. Choice was little. And salads were gone. (never experienced that anywhere by the way) Service: if something is gone, you can mention this at the table. Staff chats with each other. The manager gives orders. Madness. Atmosphere: was compared to the rest: okay! KOI has seen better times, for us not worth repeating.

On weekends you often have to wait a little longer and the tables for 2 people are a bit on the small side.

Ate here for the first time tonight with slight doubts, given the various reviews. We had a delicious meal and a nice evening. Lots of choice, easy to order with iPad, fast service, excellent price/quality!

Atmosphere was fine, service was okay, orders were often forgotten or delivered incorrectly. Food was much less good than before and the portions were sometimes extremely small, as if it had been eaten. Food tasted less fresh and some meat Was tough. Sweet potato fries portions before were always generous and now there were a few, very meager. The cucumber was also much less than normal. Nowadays it is quantity over quality and that is a shame. Because that means you lose customers. What also comes into play is that you can now only order 3 dishes per round, which is fine, but the portions are expected to be good and not meager as you can see in the photos. Previously it was always 5 dishes per round and the portions were at least normal. I think it's such a shame, because you were one of the better ones in Arnhem, but you are going backwards. Hopefully something will be done with this review and we would like to give it another chance.

Great place to have dinner. A lot of variety in food. Seating are relatively spacious. Reservations is not mandatory in the weekends , but advised.

Quality of the food has deteriorated. Portions you get are very small, compared to Blue Shakura. I don't recommend it to you, it's a waste of money.

I've been there several times in the past and had Koi sitting high. However, the quality has dropped significantly, in terms of food and atmosphere. Sushi was not tasty and had little to no flavor. The hot dishes were also less tasty than before and often quite tasteless. For 100 euros for two people, I expected more. If nothing changes in quality I won't come back here.

The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly and now leaves much to be desired. In addition, the supply seems to have become more limited, which would be acceptable if this would ensure better quality, but unfortunately that is not the case. The service mainly communicates in English and comes across as somewhat impersonal. Unfortunately, a repeat visit seems unlikely.

As a sushi lover, I had a fantastic experience at Sushi Koi Arnhem. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. After an hour the tap was broken. They only told us this after we asked where the beer was that had already been ordered 3 times. And even though we had opted for unlimited drinks.

Teleurstellend. Sushi was niet lekker. Heel droog en niet met smaak. De bediening spreek geen Nederlands en als je ze iets vraagt dan weten ze je geen antwoord te geven. Ze maakte daarnaast ook een enorme fout door ons sushi te geven, waarbij ze beweerde dat er zalm in zat, maar het was overduidelijk tonijn. Wij hadden geen tonijn besteld en toch maar eigenwijs blijven volhouden dat het zalm was. Zeer slechte service!!

Delicious asian food in an all you can eat concept. I am from Bochum, Germany. But once or twice in a year I take a 2 hours Ride, to get a delicious Dinner.

Ik hou niet van sushi, tenminste, niet van vis sushi, maar hier was er veel keus. Er was meer dan voldoende keus uit sushi, vlees, fingerfood, grill en groenten. Het eten kwam snel en was lekker. Het bestellen via de tablet is vrij simpel, al moet je wel even letten op en weten dat er op een pagina meerdere tabbladen zijn meer nog meer gerechten. Hierdoor is er nog meer keuze. De bediening was vlot en snel, de sfeer prettig. Ga zeker nog een keer terug.

Delicious food and lots of drinks with the drinks package!

Had dinner there last night since a long time ago. We always thought it was good, but tonight it was way below par. Ordering things that we didn't get at all. It also took a very long time for the food and drinks to be served. For us this was the last time we were here.

Really nice place, loved the fact that you have an all you can eat buffet for the sushi. It is on the pricey side though, but still, very enjoyable.

Heel jammer. Je krijgt een tablet met gebarsten scherm om te bestellen, waar de software nauwelijks van werkt. Je bestelt, maar of je het krijgt moet je afwachten. Na meerdere keren vragen, nog niet. Drinken is erg duur. Het meeste personeel loopt met chagrijnig gezicht rond. De sushi is smakeloos, de rijst en noedels druipen van het vet. De wasabi is geen echte wasabi. Als nagrecht ijs, het was oud en taai, voor €0,50 extra kregen we een theelepel slagroom erbij. €120+ voor twee volwassenen en een kind. Dit was de laatste keer.

Perfect deal with all you can eat. Sevis a little less but worth it. We didn't receive some orders at all haha, but we didn't order other things at all.

We went out for dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very disturbed by noisy groups of friends. For example, they were playing drinking games with a lot of yelling and noise. We felt more like we were sitting in a cafe than having a nice meal out. This made it very difficult to have a conversation. Very unfortunate.

Delicious vegan food. The staff offered me specially prepared dishes that weren't even on the menu! Really liked it here! Thank you!

The food is just okay, like any other “all you can eat” places. We waited for more than 30 minutes for our food, and our requests got delayed many times. I heard many good things about this restaurant but I’m a bit disappointed today.

Once again we had a delicious meal at Sushi Koi. At one point there was some delay with the dishes, but that was resolved neatly and quickly by the friendly staff.

Ik kan me dus helemaal niet vinden in de negatieve reacties. Ja, de ambiance is niet mooi. Het blijft een grote zaal met te fel licht. Qua gezelligheid zijn er betere sushi restaurants. Maar.... voor het geld en de all in formule gaan we zeker terug. Gisteren met vrienden hier gegeten en wij hebben alle 4 genoten van alle hapjes. De gezelligheid aan tqfel maken we zelf. Bediening heel erg goed en snel. Jongen met krullen kwam ons nog speciaal gedag zeggen. Wij komen zeker weer!

A little more “body freedom” between the table and the bench would be very desirable. The food was, as always, good. Unfortunately, it happens from time to time that you don't receive the menus you ordered, but instead you receive ones you didn't order. But then you just order again.

Nice place where they serve your typical all you can eat sushi. Concept is super simple and food is tasty. Staff was super nice. I don't often come to Arnhem, but I have still found a trusted AYCE place when I am in the area.

Nice restaurant for a quiet and pleasant meal. Delicious, good quality food in a restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Service excellent. In the center of Arnhem, 50 meters walk from the bus stops.

Have wanted to eat here for a long time. The photo on the internet with the sleek black Japanese interior really appealed to us. The tablet, the strict time slot and the fact that there is no buffet made us hesitate. Reviews at other restaurants with the same concept complained about the long waiting times per order. That wasn't too bad for Koi! The dishes were served really quickly. Unfortunately, the first two rounds of sushi were cold and that was a downer. Cold sushi doesn't taste like anything. We suspect that the sushis were already prepared in advance and came from the refrigerator. The following rounds they were fresh and at a nice temperature and you can taste that right away! Guess that's the downside if you go on a quiet day and are one of the first customers. You will then be served whatever food was left. Or prepared in advance. I personally recommend the pangasius (marinated in a very spicy sauce with garlic as a topping)! It was so tasty! Furthermore, we were very satisfied with the service! At every beckon they came just shy of running. And every request was met very hospitably. It made a difference that we were one of the few customers. So I don't know what it would be like on a busy night out.

Wat zijn ze enorm achteruit gegaan. Voor ons nooit meer. Dit was al meer dan 10 jaar ons favoriete restaurant, maar daar is niets meer van over. Andere eigenaar? Allereerst de mensen die er er werken. De mannen kijken op de vrouwen neer, iedereen is chagrijnig, zegt geen woord, verschrikkelijk gewoon. Echt onbeschoft. De muziek belachelijk hard en de stijl past totaal niet bij een zogenaamd Japans restaurant. De afspeellijst staat ook nog eens op repeat. Het eten was zeer matig. Er wordt veel rijst gebruikt, lekker goedkoop. De tonijn was grijs! Bah. Dat verkoop je toch niet! De edamame boontjes zo doorgekookt, dat je de buitenkant automatisch mee at. Afruimen duurde enorm lang en nee het was niet druk. Heel erg rustig juist door de vakantie periode. Wij waren als eerste binnen en de vloer plakte werkelijk overal. Wat jammer zeg. Ons altijd favoriete restaurant, is het voor ons niet meer. Dit was de laatste keer.

Sushi Koi in Arnhem absolutely deserves 5 stars! The food is always fresh and of high quality. The sushi is artfully prepared and simply melts in your mouth. The service is attentive and professional, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed and stylish. A top choice for sushi lovers!

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife who visited Koi last Friday with a group of friends. Unfortunately this turned out very badly. I prefer to write positive reviews. I like it better. Sat at a table for almost half an hour in a very quiet restaurant without anyone passing by. Then we walked to the bar to say that we wanted to eat and have a drink. Then it takes a while before someone comes to our table and we get a tablet. More than half an hour of our time has already passed. This had probably already taken effect upon arrival. We are not served properly while eating. Drinks are just placed on the table somewhere. Empty plates are pushed aside with the new full plates and then not taken away. Some ordered dishes do not arrive. The desserts we order are also not there, still frozen. Even though we are one of the first guests of the day. Now you may be thinking why didn't they say anything when they were there. This is because we did not feel comfortable and were treated the same by all the staff, which seemed quite intimidating. (except for one boy, who was friendly all evening). We paid a lot of money but we did not enjoy a relaxing meal. Never go to Koi again. Unfortunately..

Phew, what bad service. Waited half an hour, received no drinks or food. Had to ask several staff members before anyone checked. The tablet turned out to be defective, so nothing had gotten through. But even after that the service remained incredibly slow. Cocktails didn't come, sauce didn't come, even water and cutlery only came after repeatedly asking. Some of the staff were not attentive at all. The desserts were of laughably poor quality. The sushi was tasty but I wouldn't go back here.

Nog nooit zo een slechte service gehad in een restaurant. Lopen een paar serveersters die nog te beroerd zijn om te praten. Gerechten die je besteld komen niet pas als je er naar vraagt. Zitten al ruim een half uur op drinken te wachten. Dit was eens maar nooit meer. Tip voor mensen die hier heen willen, neem zelf iets te eten en te drinken mee

Lousy service, you can order unlimited because you just don't get everything you order. If you're thirsty, you're out of luck. We have been waiting for drinks for 45 minutes. The staff is probably deaf and dumb, except for a few. I will never go here again, nice concept, very poor execution

We had a very delicious meal at Koi Arhnem! Very nice atmosphere, great location near the city and fast service!

Sushi Koi was one of my favorite restaurants, but this location has deteriorated. The front door is open, causing a draft in the restaurant. The guests at two tables next to me were even eating with their coats on! I closed the door at one point, but in the end it stayed open again. The food is fine but the employees could use a few hospitality lessons. The employees don't look at you and if they do look, they should do so with a friendly look. It took over half an hour to get my drink. Also, several times I only received my dishes two rounds later. The tables for 2 people are too small and the neighbors are too close to you. I strongly advise against plugging in an air freshener near where guests are eating. You constantly smell smoke when you sit next to the disabled toilet. This would be more useful in the ladies room where it smelled. You really should and can do better than this.

Been eating some koi for a while now. Unfortunately disappointed this time. The range of food seems to be less, the sushi no longer has the same quality and it all seems to be a bit more rushed and has to be done quickly. As a highlight, when paying we were kindly asked to order more than 1 drink per person next time, because it was not really the intention that we had only had 1 drink. Unfortunately no more koi for us, there are better alternatives in Arnhem.
