Good food, we were able to get in without a reservation and the system was explained. Fast, friendly service, and the dirty dishes were also quickly cleared away! 👌

We were at this restaurant about six years ago, and again today, six years later. The restaurant has changed for the worse. Terrible service. The staff is completely incompetent; they can't answer a single question, don't speak Dutch, and their English is also very poor. They kept bringing us something different than what we ordered. I got a salad with rotten, brown avocado. I asked for a new one, but they gave us the same salad back, with the rotten bits cut off. The avocado didn't even get any fresher after being cut! It's outrageous; I'll never come here again, and I won't recommend it to my friends either.

Neither 2 rounds in 2,5h :)) with an army of waiters. That's a joke of all you can eat. This place has to be avoid at al costs in the weekends. Waste of money: 83€ for neither 2 rounds without drinks. We will NEVER RETURN here. Waiters delivered plates on wrong tables and we saw several similar mistakes with other tables . On others reviews i read same issues with service complaints, I'm wondering if the management of this restaurant read these complaints , because nothing was fixed in last years with service sistem and long waiting and plates missing...

Always came here with my friend, it was always perfect but since the takeover it has been ruined. 40 minute wait until you get your food and a lot of food not getting, also unfriendly staff, 20 times asking before you get why you ask, never again for me

Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes for our first drink, even though we had a drinks package. Furthermore, our food arrived on one plate every 5-10 minutes, and towards the end, we received all our food and drinks. We also didn't receive the requested cutlery or soy sauce at all. All in all, we had a less than enjoyable evening, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant during peak hours (Saturday evening).

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. They walked around grumpy, and after asking about my drink four times, I was practically laughed at. I won't be coming back.

We dined here on Saturday with a somewhat larger group. We had made reservations for 13 people, but we were given a table set for 11, which was already far too cramped. In the end, we had to sit there with 12 people. It was quite cramped, just imagine if there had been 13 of us. We had booked the drinks package because we thought it would be more convenient. We had to wait almost an hour for our first drink. We asked several times where it was, but were told they weren't staffed enough and it was busy. Eventually, some of the drinks we'd ordered arrived, but still not all of them, so we had to collect them ourselves from the bar. The food arrived slowly, and the rounds were all mixed up. After three drinks, they actually didn't want to give us any more wine because it was all too much. The manager tried to explain that it was very busy and they hadn't really anticipated this, that they weren't staffed enough, etc. The food itself was fine, but the service (from the manager upstairs) was extremely poor!

We were a large group of 12 people, and we had made reservations in advance. The table was only set for 10. Plates for the other two were brought in, making us very cramped. There was a shortage of staff, and the food elevator was broken. The result: a very long wait. After an hour, we still hadn't received any food or drinks. We brought this up, but instead of offering any assistance (extending the timeline), the manager argued with us. On the plus side: the food was good! We won't be returning.

A real disaster! Upon arrival, we had to report upstairs. Once there, there was no employee to be seen, and after 5 minutes we had to go and find someone ourselves. It takes 15 minutes before you even get your QR code to order. You're practically sitting on your unknown neighbor's lap. The noise in the room is incredibly loud; you practically have to shout to hear each other. The staff is friendly, though. One staff member told us she was completely fed up with it after the takeover last month, which speaks volumes about this restaurant. We didn't get everything we ordered; it took 70 minutes and five requests before we got our dessert. All the tables around us complained. Want to dine out at your leisure and without worry? Do NOT go to this restaurant! Never again!

The sushi itself was fine/tasty, but the service was unfriendly and had no idea what dishes they were serving. We were with a group, and when everything was brought to the table, we had to guess who had ordered what... the staff couldn't answer that question. "All you can drink" is nice, but when the signature cocktails taste completely different than they should, that's a shame.

The food here is always excellent. The QR code ordering system works well and is fast. There's a lot of variety on the menu.

Too bad the old owner is gone, the new owner is very stingy. We ordered 6 waters while we had unlimited drinks, but we didn't even get drinks, and when we had to pay, we had to pay extra for the water while we hadn't received it. I would never want to come back again.

We had a great meal last night. Unfortunately, we had to sit upstairs, and it was very cold there. They said they would fix it, and it improved for a while, but then it got cold again. The upstairs seating area is very uninviting. The staff wasn't very friendly either. For this price, I don't think it's worth it.

Well, I'm so bummed. Koi has really deteriorated. I had sushi yesterday. The sushi and the presentation aren't what they used to be. After 5 pieces, I felt nauseous and got stomach cramps. We were inside for 15 minutes. I held back because my husband liked the meat dishes and had ordered them. The young man asked us, "Did you enjoy your meal?" when he noticed we were about to leave. I honestly said no, I felt nauseous after eating the shrimp. I want to go home soon. Oh, was his answer. A good 90.00 later. So bummed, I was really looking forward to it. I spent the whole night in the toilet. He should have compensated me. No more Koi for us, and no more sushi anywhere for the time being.

We've been going to Sushi Koi for years, but last weekend was definitely our last. The service has deteriorated dramatically. The staff is grumpy, and the menu has been shortened, significantly reducing the selection. The glasses and cutlery looked dirty. We were served dishes that weren't ours. Whenever we tried to speak to someone, they'd either disappeared or pretended not to hear us. In short: very poor. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious, and the place looks very well-prepared. I think the music could have been a bit softer.

Staff could be a bit more cheerful

We arrived at 8:30 PM (we had a reservation) and weren't greeted warmly. Just as we were seated, a waitress mentioned that the kitchen closed at 9:30 PM, which made us feel rushed. Furthermore, the service was completely unfriendly; they struggled to even say "please" when the food arrived, and they were too strict about clearing empty plates. I still had my last bite in my mouth, and my plate was already being snatched away right in front of me. The food was fine, not great. I wouldn't eat here (late or late).

Our favorite sushi place. 10 euros for all you can drink, including cocktails, is fantastic. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful, just as you'd expect. Sometimes the food took a little longer, but that wasn't a big deal. I would have preferred the drinks to arrive sooner, at least before the food you ordered each round. Otherwise, it was very tasty. They've updated some items on the menu, and there were some really delicious options! The portions were generous, and each round was excellent! Recommended to everyone!

Top service always friendly and the food is always delicious

We ate here for the first time today, and it was absolutely delicious. The sushi was delicious, and all the hot dishes were fresh and hot! They also have a very large selection of drinks. We'd love to come back!

A tip, the food is a lot. So if you're with 2 people, let's say 4 dishes each round is enough. Anyway the food was suppeerrr delicious I never ate so much in my life. Would love to go back and try everything

We had a great evening at Koi Sushi Arnhem. The all-you-can-eat menu was extensive and featured a wide variety of dishes. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared! Unfortunately, the music wasn't playing for much of our evening, which made the atmosphere feel a bit uninviting, despite the restaurant's beautiful decor. The food also arrived faster than the drinks, but upon request, the friendly staff quickly addressed this!

I think my tastes have changed a bit because I hear from all sorts of people that the food is great, but I also don't think it's as good as, say, 10 years ago. The bright lighting doesn't make it any more inviting either.

I am writing this review as a vegetarian and the food I had was pretty good but fundamentally lacking sufficient protein. I saw a menu from three years ago which had loads of tofu and egg dishes but unfortunately not anymore. Also I have a huge problem with the miso aubergine dish. I was expecting a nice slice of aubergine in a good sauce. It was literally half an aubergine with just a slathering of pure miso on it. That much miso is just overwhelming and I (and everyone else at the table) found it completely inedible. Get rid of the aubergine (or do it right) and bring back some hot tofu dishes!

A good sushi restaurant that uses a QR code and the all-you-can-eat concept. Everyone at the table uses their own phone. The dishes are delicious, but a bit too much sauce (especially on the maki). Desserts and sweets are included. I miss the fries sauce or ketchup with the fried dishes, and there are no squid rings (!) How is that possible? The staff is hard-working, friendly, and professional. The restaurant's decor is beautiful and exudes a relaxed atmosphere. Very satisfied after my visit and will definitely return.

Atmosphereless and it's been a long time since I had such bad sushi. Really way too salty and prepared without care. So salty that you couldn't even taste the sushi rice. In addition, the tuna sashimi was cut way too thick (almost a cm thick). That is not good food and shows that the chef doesn't know much about it. Other snacks are fine but not always fresh. I won't go here again.

Nice location, Food was delicious, had a nice company outing. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to wait (especially for drinks). Very clear what you can and cannot eat with allergies, very handy!

It is a "good" restaurant if you look at service. Unfortunately the space and the decoration are not an atmospheric style, it feels like I'm walking into a dentist's office, everything has to be modern and luxurious, while sushi restaurants often have a cozy and relaxed vibe. The quality of the food was decent, especially for the price! The service was excellent!

Visited here on June 9, 2025 (1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.) First of all: The sushi was delicious, and the €10 flat-rate drinks package was perfect for me. I received a friendly welcome and was shown to my table. A simple restaurant with an open kitchen. The menu is extensive, and I find ordering via tablet very convenient. However, the table, tablet, glasses, and spoons for coffee and dessert were not clean. As a guest, I could see that spoons? Plates? were being washed by hand in the kitchen and dried by the waiter at the pass (food counter). All-round service... Serving, clearing, wiping and drying the table. All without washing hands, though. When the waiter cleared the table, you could smell that he was coming back from his cigarette break. Especially when he moved his hands. (I'm a smoker myself.) As I wrote, the sushi was delicious, but unfortunately, due to hygiene concerns, I won't be coming back.

Delicious food there. During the week it is less busy than in the weekend. Action with all inclusive drinks is great. Eur 10 normal price. Now eur 5 🥳. We really enjoyed it.

Scrumptious food but had to wait a long time for our first serving. If you are looking for a romantic, quiet dinner date then this is not the place to go to. Can be rather busy and loud with people talking/laughing. The chocolate martini was very diluted, so, that i didnt enjoy.

Limited choices, No lamb steak, no mosselen, no squid, no tempura, need to pay €2 for ice cream, gyoza very soggy, sesame ballen not cooked with white dough inside. Fried veg I bathed in sauce… waiter/ waitress not experienced and couldn’t really communicate well .

Good service, tasty and fresh food, top price-quality comparison! Large selection and all-in drinks for 10 euros is really fantastic! Have often eaten with friends and family and it is always delicious.

I couldn't give much for this. Food: very poor! You get little. Sushi was okay in itself. Choice was little. And salads were gone. (never experienced that anywhere by the way) Service: if something is gone, you can mention this at the table. Staff chats with each other. The manager gives orders. Madness. Atmosphere: was compared to the rest: okay! KOI has seen better times, for us not worth repeating.

Ate here for the first time tonight with slight doubts, given the various reviews. We had a delicious meal and a nice evening. Lots of choice, easy to order with iPad, fast service, excellent price/quality!

Atmosphere was fine, service was okay, orders were often forgotten or delivered incorrectly. Food was much less good than before and the portions were sometimes extremely small, as if it had been eaten. Food tasted less fresh and some meat Was tough. Sweet potato fries portions before were always generous and now there were a few, very meager. The cucumber was also much less than normal. Nowadays it is quantity over quality and that is a shame. Because that means you lose customers. What also comes into play is that you can now only order 3 dishes per round, which is fine, but the portions are expected to be good and not meager as you can see in the photos. Previously it was always 5 dishes per round and the portions were at least normal. I think it's such a shame, because you were one of the better ones in Arnhem, but you are going backwards. Hopefully something will be done with this review and we would like to give it another chance.

I've been there several times in the past and had Koi sitting high. However, the quality has dropped significantly, in terms of food and atmosphere. Sushi was not tasty and had little to no flavor. The hot dishes were also less tasty than before and often quite tasteless. For 100 euros for two people, I expected more. If nothing changes in quality I won't come back here.

The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly and now leaves much to be desired. In addition, the supply seems to have become more limited, which would be acceptable if this would ensure better quality, but unfortunately that is not the case. The service mainly communicates in English and comes across as somewhat impersonal. Unfortunately, a repeat visit seems unlikely.

Teleurstellend. Sushi was niet lekker. Heel droog en niet met smaak. De bediening spreek geen Nederlands en als je ze iets vraagt dan weten ze je geen antwoord te geven. Ze maakte daarnaast ook een enorme fout door ons sushi te geven, waarbij ze beweerde dat er zalm in zat, maar het was overduidelijk tonijn. Wij hadden geen tonijn besteld en toch maar eigenwijs blijven volhouden dat het zalm was. Zeer slechte service!!

Delicious asian food in an all you can eat concept. I am from Bochum, Germany. But once or twice in a year I take a 2 hours Ride, to get a delicious Dinner.

Ik hou niet van sushi, tenminste, niet van vis sushi, maar hier was er veel keus. Er was meer dan voldoende keus uit sushi, vlees, fingerfood, grill en groenten. Het eten kwam snel en was lekker. Het bestellen via de tablet is vrij simpel, al moet je wel even letten op en weten dat er op een pagina meerdere tabbladen zijn meer nog meer gerechten. Hierdoor is er nog meer keuze. De bediening was vlot en snel, de sfeer prettig. Ga zeker nog een keer terug.

Had dinner there last night since a long time ago. We always thought it was good, but tonight it was way below par. Ordering things that we didn't get at all. It also took a very long time for the food and drinks to be served. For us this was the last time we were here.

Really nice place, loved the fact that you have an all you can eat buffet for the sushi. It is on the pricey side though, but still, very enjoyable.

Heel jammer. Je krijgt een tablet met gebarsten scherm om te bestellen, waar de software nauwelijks van werkt. Je bestelt, maar of je het krijgt moet je afwachten. Na meerdere keren vragen, nog niet. Drinken is erg duur. Het meeste personeel loopt met chagrijnig gezicht rond. De sushi is smakeloos, de rijst en noedels druipen van het vet. De wasabi is geen echte wasabi. Als nagrecht ijs, het was oud en taai, voor €0,50 extra kregen we een theelepel slagroom erbij. €120+ voor twee volwassenen en een kind. Dit was de laatste keer.

Perfect deal with all you can eat. Sevis a little less but worth it. We didn't receive some orders at all haha, but we didn't order other things at all.

We went out for dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very disturbed by noisy groups of friends. For example, they were playing drinking games with a lot of yelling and noise. We felt more like we were sitting in a cafe than having a nice meal out. This made it very difficult to have a conversation. Very unfortunate.

The food is just okay, like any other “all you can eat” places. We waited for more than 30 minutes for our food, and our requests got delayed many times. I heard many good things about this restaurant but I’m a bit disappointed today.
