The food is great, the service is also top, the atmosphere less so, but I would rather eat well in a less nice restaurant than badly in a nice location.

It started off well with free parking. From the outside, it looks like a snack bar, but once you look past the kitchen, you're pleasantly surprised. The food is very good. Fresh sushi, lots of choices, and above all, fast and friendly staff. It wasn't busy, but the owner's children (who were very well-behaved) made it even more fun. We're from The Hague and would love to come back when our bellies aren't full anymore... thanks! Price Oct 2025: €40 for all you can eat + 2 drinks

Very tasty and fresh sushi, and also neatly presented. We could have used a richer broth for the ramen bowl (it lacks some umami), but otherwise it was delicious. The bubble teas are highly recommended. Not too sweet, very tasty, and the tapioca was delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth coming back! (Ordered à la carte, not all you can eat)

Ordered food, good portions and good quality for a really good price. Asked for loose nori leaves and ingredients for the handroll, so that it is crispy. Wasn't a problem at all! Great service!

Good food for a normal price, staff is also friendly. They work hard and do their best. You can order 5 dishes per person, per round and you can order for 2.5 hours. This is also more than enough for big eaters. The price is around €30 per person for the food Drinks are a bit pricey, but this is of course their revenue model, if you have 2 drinks per person you are still eating for a decent price. The atmosphere is good, although I would like to have some Japanese music on for the experience and it is not so atmospheric that the sports location is located next to the restaurant and that their toilet is also used by the guests of the restaurant. You can order via the telephone by scanning a QR code. If you are unable to do this, it is also possible to order the old-fashioned way. But of course they have more time for other things over the telephone, although I prefer the old-fashioned way.

It's been a long time since I had such delicious sushi. It was all really delicious. Atmosphere could be better..... noisy people at the bar drinking beer. For the rest great and will certainly be repeated soon

We order here twice a month, but this time it was slightly less than normal, so we called and without a doubt they delivered what was wrong, which was super resolved and definitely recommended if you want good beef teriyaki.

The name and location are not very exotic, but the food is of excellent quality. Both the sushi and the hot dishes taste excellent and the portions are very large. Larger than we are used to and therefore we order fewer dishes per round. Definitely worth it. The restaurant is spacious, making it easy for us to find a table with our stroller.

Not satisfied last 3 times. Been ordering here for years. Everything was done together because of the transportation. Sushi rice is hard and dry. Last time I was sick all night. A shame because you're always satisfied.

1 star, because a delivery person with a small black car drove very recklessly and dangerously today around 6 p.m. on Tue Nov 14, I almost had a collision with this idiot

The food was almost 45 minutes late. When you call, they say it's on its way, 30 A few minutes later you can call again with the same story. Sushi itself was dry and didn't seem fresh!

Visited the business with ex-colleagues. Service was fine. Sufficient attention and requests were met immediately. Dishes were of excellent quality. The food and service are very good. The atmosphere could be a bit better, especially when it is still light outside. The door to the terrace should only be used by guests who use the restaurant and not by people who come to pick up something.

Never experienced such slow service as here!! Been sitting here for 2h15m now and round 3 hasn't even been brought to the table yet... 1 item from round 1 only came to the table after 2 hours and then the rules state that you can't order until you've had everything... I'm happy that I didn't do that otherwise we wouldn't have had anything left. It is better to order via home delivery because those orders seem to take precedence over orders in the restaurant! In short... worthless and not recommended!

Orders in the restaurant come really slowly, food is not warm. Outside there, the delivery drivers drive like crazy, tailgating and overtaking and cutting off on the right.

We had shusi delivered to our home. It arrived after calling, an hour late. Something tasty would be added to compensate, which was prawn crackers. The Sushi was tasteless. Not worth the money.

I will honestly keep coming back for the service alone. 5 minutes before closing time I called Sushi Smitje because I felt like having their delicious bubble tea. I had indicated that my husband would come and pick it up right away and was actually afraid of Mrs would say that she was going to close, but on the contrary, she said that she was going to equalize it. Based on the review I thought, that must be good. Unfortunately not. Argument in the kitchen, frozen sashimi, the sushi also seemed to come from the freezer. Not really fresh, and you can really expect that from a sushi restaurant. Everything without any finesse. Shame. I won't be coming back here again.

I had read excellent reviews, so we went to eat here based on these excellent reviews as the (online) menu doesn't look great. The sushi was on the large side, but the taste and quality were good. The hot dishes, meat and fish were not very tasty. Nice ladies at the service but that is not enough to come back here.

I ordered a bento box and bubble tea here. It arrived nice and quickly! The sushi was delicious, and the salmon really great. I also thought the bubble tea was great! Definitely recommended and I will definitely order more :)

Very nice restaurant. I order from these nice people almost every week because I am often on the road. The poke bowls are highly recommended, especially the salmon with spicy dressing.

The outside does not have the bowl inside look, but once inside it is warm and cozy, nice and friendly service, working with cards on which you write down the numbers instead of with a tablet or app, the food is really the best I have had in the area so far. I have had the opportunity to experience, for me a 10++! I will definitely come back here

Delicious sushi!! Everything tastes different and good. Not the same sauce they throw on everything everywhere. As soon as there are many home delivery orders, they are a bit behind with the orders from the restaurant.

Ordered sushi today, delivered on time. It was very tasty and looked delicious too. If you like soup, I would definitely order the Ramen noodle soup... and with crispy chicken it is incredibly tasty... highly recommended.

Affordable and unlimited. Delicious dishes and friendly staff. You order 5 rounds msg. But after 2 rounds you are already full... then have a nice ice cream. Not expensive. The steak teryaki is fantastic...

Nice meal! Narrowly made it to the 3rd round. Hot dishes piping hot and cold dishes super fresh. Because of our guest (English speaking), everything was explained in English. In short: we will be back soon!

Finally a (super good) sushi restaurant in Maassluis! Motivated staff, delicious fresh sushi and a good environment. The only point of criticism is the outside terrace...it could use a makeover...if this happens you will have a top location with a view of a playground...people with small children know how nice that is :)

Spontaneous evening of sushi at sushi smitje. We went there without expectations, but we thoroughly enjoyed all the delicious dishes. Wide choice and everything freshly made. We have eaten a lot of sushi, but this was definitely the tastiest. The staff are extremely friendly and work very hard to keep all guests happy. Really a recommendation!

The food in the restaurant is really of good quality, wide choice of both sushi and other hot dishes.....something for everyone. The staff is also very nice and try very hard. We have eaten there twice now and had a great time both times! We have not yet done pickup or delivery. We will definitely come back!

Had dinner there for the first time with the sushi crew. And believe me we have had a lot of sushi restaurants. But what good food it is here, and that in our own city. Really folks, it's worth a try. Staff was friendly ☺️Only comment, it is a bit too cold, so next time I'll wear a sweater, but other than that highly recommended if you don't want to eat far from home.

Tried this restaurant today. I chose the crispy box and sashimi mix and some loose sushi €46. When I hadn't seen anyone after an hour and a half, I called. My order was ready but there was no delivery person available. Can happen. Call your customer to tell them that you cannot keep up with the 30-minute email that I deliver via home delivery. Food = clammy and not CRISPY anymore… bit of a shame! Tip: put something nice in the bag next time. Good maker for the wait?

Delivery time is really not normal 2.5 hours. The sushi is very tasty but the time for it is too much. After the first call about it, they only started making it and that was after 1.30 am
