We were there with a large group of about 20 people, including children. We had bread as a starter, followed by a tasting platter, and a grand dessert for dessert. The food was delicious, the service friendly and efficient, and the children could play outside.

Beautiful shop and restaurant with lovely regional products. Plenty of vegetarian options too! But the meatball made from their own beef was absolutely fantastic! A nice place (also for small children who can enjoy exploring, playing, and visiting the petting zoo).

This is truly a fantastic place, fun for children, and the food is also very inviting and extensive. Generous portions! Nice play equipment for the little ones. There are a few sheep too, which is nice! The loose children's toys are all a bit broken.

A wonderful place with wonderful people! After a bicycle accident, my friend received comprehensive, expert, and heartfelt care. We were almost speechless, it was so amazing! Including pain and anti-inflammatory medication, we were able to complete our two-day bike tour with peace of mind! The drinks and cake were also delicious. They even accommodated individual drink requests! :-) A huge thank you to the fantastic team! ❤️

We spontaneously went there after shopping at Obelink and we were absolutely thrilled! Great grounds, lots of play options for the kids and even a small petting zoo. The food was delicious, and the portions were good value for the price.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat or have a drink. Large playground for children with various play equipment, including multiple slides and a large bouncy castle. For smaller children, there is a separate playground where they can play happily and cuddle with sheep. Also a very nice little shop with various local products + a nice changing pad in the disabled toilet. Very pleasant to visit, with or without children.

Cozy & delicious. Kids can play outside perfectly. The food not only looks good, it tasted TOP-NOTCH! There were six of us (adults) and we ordered carpaccio, pulled pork, among other things & see photo; once again: worth repeating!

What an incredibly nice restaurant. Upon entering, you really get so excited about the products they have. The atmosphere is so warm. Everything is decorated very cozily. The food is delicious, all homemade. It is fun for the children to play outside. We are very enthusiastic. They really deserve a solid 10. Until next time, because we will definitely be back!

A restaurant with an informal atmosphere, where they speak Achterhoek dialect if they recognize your accent, and otherwise proper Dutch if you have a different accent. Even when it gets busier, they continue to pay attention to you as a guest. The food (in our case, dinner for two) was not only good, but also plentiful! We had to make room for dessert. It was all delicious. Also nice: you can take a walk before (or after) dinner, as they are located on a walking route. The farm shop at this restaurant was nice, but (perhaps due to the season) mediocre. The game meat, on the other hand, was superb. We stocked up immediately and have already made a number of dishes. It gives a completely different flavor!

We spent the weekend in Aalten and a day trip to Bocholt, Germany. Because there was a Christmas market and all the restaurants were full, we decided to drive back to the cottage next to this restaurant. And that was a good thing, because we had such a delicious meal, and the service was excellent. It was truly delicious and of excellent quality. The waitress knew exactly how to describe every dish and served it on time, ensuring excellent service. Not too often, and certainly not too little. A top-notch restaurant; we will definitely be back.

Great place, but it's quite expensive, even though it's not quite finished. For example, there was sand in the salad at lunch, and for the price, it could be a bit neater. It's also a bit messy outside in the yard; a little tidying up and sweeping would go a long way. Otherwise, the location is excellent.

On my way through (motorcycle tour), I stopped here for coffee. Pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, delicious coffee, wonderful pastries, and a pleasant atmosphere. Great little shop. But unfortunately, there was no room because the motorcycles were fully loaded. Definitely a place to return to.

Update: 2 years later... everything is great. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and good, and the atmosphere is fantastic. A lovely, spacious restaurant that's suitable for many purposes. While I was eating a pulled pork sandwich on the terrace, there was a choir festival going on somewhere inside (I didn't hear it outside, by the way). Outside, there's a large play area for young children. The food was excellent, as was the friendly service.

On a sunny day, we had a lovely lunch at a picnic table near the playground. I had a delicious meatball sandwich. My daughter had a blast playing in the playground, which also had a little train, which she loved. The staff were very friendly, and there's also a large regional store, though I did find the prices a bit high.

We had made a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The staff is attentive and service-oriented. The quality of the food is perfect; it's fresh, and you can taste it. Such delicious meat! We enjoyed our dinner. They also take dietary requirements and cross-contamination into account. I have celiac disease and therefore eat gluten-free. That wasn't a problem. There's also a farm shop with local products. We'd love to return when we're in the area again.

What more can I add to the reviews of other guests, other than to wholeheartedly agree with them? Yesterday was our second time here, and it was sublime again. The menu offers something for everyone, the portions are very generous, and above all, the quality is superb. The service is very friendly, gives good advice, and is passionate about their work. As far as we're concerned: 3 Michelin stars wouldn't be amiss, and combined with typical Achterhoek hospitality, we can only give Suzi's Farm a solid 10.

We stumbled upon this place by chance. Pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, atmosphere, and friendly staff. The food was delicious, with beer-battered mushrooms and a superb steak. We enjoyed a local beer. We highly recommend it.

We came here after a day at the amusement park. It's a lovely, peaceful atmosphere, with a great area for kids to play. All the dishes are local, and you can taste the difference, while the prices are reasonable.

We stopped here for a lunch break and were pleasantly surprised by how much this place has to offer. The food was delicious and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. There’s a great variety to choose from – including warm meals and plenty of snacks for in between. The staff were very kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Families with children will especially love it here. There’s a large outdoor playground with plenty of space to run around, toy tractors to ride on, and even goats walking freely in the area – which was an absolute highlight for the kids! The restaurant itself was clean, cozy, and had a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Another nice bonus: you can buy homemade products directly from the farm, like cheese, jams, and other local specialties – perfect for taking a little piece of the experience home with you.

We actually came for a quick, simple meal, but were incredibly surprised by the exceptionally high quality of the food. It was downright delicious and beautifully presented. We have not eaten such deliciously prepared meat in a long time, and we often eat out in (good) restaurants. We could sit outside in beautiful summer weather and had top service from Thomas and a waitress whose name we do not know. But really a very very nice experience all in all. The only thing is that the whole ambiance (decor / setting) does not match the quality of the food and how refined it is. Because of the appearance we expected hamburgers in a cozy family restaurant. But it was really a veeeeeeery nice surprise, thank you very much for a great evening and until next time!

It is a very nice place to stay for us when we are on holiday. The outdoor play for the children and the hospitality are great! Also nice that there are some animals that you can go to. We like to come there. The children can have fun outside. Inside there is also a play possibility but then you are not in the catering area or otherwise you are separated from the catering area with the children. I understand the choice, but with smaller children it is a bit less pleasant because you do not have a view of it.

What a discovery! We were able to stay last minute with a large group and it was great that we ended up there. A gem! Large playground for the children, delicious food for the parents. Perfect combination! Also highly recommended if you have intolerances. Due to a combination of intolerances, I often get a meager plate at restaurants. But every now and then I come across a restaurant that, despite the intolerances, still tries to offer a diverse plate. Suzie's Farm is also one of them. I really enjoyed it! Thank you!

Asparagus soup with shredded salmon. They had forgotten the salmon pieces. When they arrived the soup had already cooled down quite a bit. Our "club sandwich" was nothing more than a healthy sandwich. Tasted good by the way.

There is room to change the baby/toddler and a nice country store with all kinds of delicious products. Recommended if you are on holiday in the area, for example!

Nice atmosphere and family friendly

It's a wonderful place to sit with children on the terrace in the summer. The staff are very friendly, there's a nice playground, and there are also indoor play areas. However, the prices are ridiculously high. We asked for a vegetarian version of the nachos (without pulled pork) and were given a small bowl of nachos with some melted cheese. A bit pricey for the €9.50 we paid for it. The main courses are also absurdly expensive, and you really don't get much for that. They always serve a shot glass of whipped cream with coffee, but they don't mention that it contains a strong liqueur. So be careful before eating this if you're pregnant or giving it to your child. Our main courses came with a bowl of lettuce with a large hair in it. We reported this, and the only response was, "We'll pass this on to the kitchen." We had requested the beef burger without bacon and well-done due to pregnancy. Apparently, this wasn't passed on to the kitchen either. It's a bit of a shame, because they didn't compensate for the hair in the lettuce, even though no one touched it afterward. We had coffee afterward, and the final bill was well over €100. The young staff were very friendly. True Achterhoek hospitality. But we won't be back anytime soon after this first experience.

We had a delicious meal and it was all made and presented with care and love. We would have loved to eat more, but unfortunately with such large portions there was nothing more we could eat haha ​​😂.
