A wide selection of dishes, the food is very good. Today we tried the meat dumplings and the soup of the day. The portions are large and filling. The service is very friendly and quick. The place is spacious and atmospheric. I highly recommend it.

I received an unfriendly welcome when I asked if reservations were necessary and if a small dog was allowed. Dogs weren't permitted, and the man at the counter was unfriendly – ​​so we ate somewhere else that day. It's a shame because I would have liked to try some typical Polish food.

My first visit to a local restaurant was a fun one. I ordered a roulade and asked what kind of groats it came with. The chef and the waiter agreed that the roulade was made with buckwheat. Then I got a plate of pearl barley. I was expecting a classic beef roulade with cucumber, but it was pork roulade stuffed with sausage, just for informational purposes. 😅. A mark for the sense of humor; the dish itself didn't break my back, and I hope it won't. Best regards.

We ordered food from Center Parcs Het Meerdal and were pleasantly surprised! Despite providing the wrong phone number, the delivery driver easily found our cottage and delivered the order right to our door – a huge plus for their dedication and professionalism. The food was warm, fresh, and above all, delicious – truly homely flavors that instantly lift your spirits. Everything was carefully prepared and seasoned. We highly recommend Swojak Restaurant to anyone craving delicious, home-cooked food and excellent service. We will definitely be ordering again!

We visited the restaurant for the first time today, we had zypy, vegetable and sorrel soups, the soups were tasty, the main course was a breast cutlet baked with cheese, overall tasty but we visited for the first and last time because the cutlet was undercooked and the cheese on it simply stank and was not the freshest.

We ordered goulash with dumplings, but unfortunately, we received potatoes instead. Furthermore, the vegetable soup tasted like tomato soup with cauliflower. Interestingly, about three weeks ago we were at the same restaurant, and the vegetable soup tasted completely different. The quality of the dishes leaves much to be desired.

Total lack of service, I waited 15 minutes for someone to come and to no avail and the kitchen was blah blah and Hahaha😡😡😡😡

The food is delicious. The prices are affordable for everyone. I just didn't like the fact that you have to go to the counter and order there; it's a bit unprofessional, in my opinion. I also had to pack the food myself (usually the staff does this), but the food is very good, which is a big plus.

Went here two times during our stay in Venray. Both days each of us chose one of the two versions of the menu of the day and both times it was excellent. Can just recommend. It was weekdays, there were far fewer guests than the restaurant deserved. So during weekdays reservation probably not needed. Menu is only polnish, but you'll get it explained very well by staff.

Me and 2 friends tried to order something to eat. When we enetered the restaurant, we were asked to wait although there was no other clients. We thought ok, we are not in a rush. 2 minutes later a woman came in that seemed to be a manager or owner of the place. She rudely asked her worker why are there people inside. We then realised that we walked in 1 or 2 minutes before opening time (the door was open and nobody said anything when we walked in) Both workers looked at us in a very disrespectful way and we felt very unwelcome to be there. We decide to walk out and never visit a restaurant that treats their customers with no respect.

The taste is great, the price is decent, and the portions are huge. The pancake and cabbage soup are also fantastic.

Just like three years ago, the kitchen's watchword was "Nothing." The menu had five items, of which maybe one was available. The Hungarian-style pancake was edible but massively oversalted and accompanied by a goulash that wasn't particularly fresh. And yet, a 40-minute wait for such a dish was a bit of a letdown.

We've been to this place with my family many times and always enjoyed returning. However, after yesterday's visit, we won't be going back. Firstly, most of the items on the menu were gone (we were told over 15 times that something was out). We were given half of the last beer, and then we couldn't order another one because it was "out." The tripe we ordered was disgusting, not fresh, stank, and left a very unpleasant aftertaste. The Hungarian pancake was frozen and reheated. When I tried to pay the bill (finally €69), I was told by the staff that they wouldn't charge me €100. When I re-assessed the items I had purchased (because the bill didn't add up in my head), it turned out that for such unfriendly service and the items "out of stock," the staff tried to charge us €79 instead of €69. Overall, the place wasn't heated, and it was cold inside. When we asked what had happened to make it this way, we were told they'd only been open for a short time after the holiday break. This showed how much the owner and staff respect their customers. To open a restaurant without supplies and stale food, just to collect money. We are very disgusted with this place, even though we used to be regulars. My child and wife were both poisoned the next day after eating their meals!

I'm very pleased with the catering provided for a 250-person special event. Everything was well-organized, with on-time delivery, professional service, and excellent food. The dishes were fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented, and the guests really appreciated the quality and variety. Contact with the company was seamless and professional from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

Today, December 13, 2025. The waitress was unpleasant, arrogant, and downright nasty. The soup was decent, but the hair in the dumplings was off-putting. We won't be back.

I arrived at 6:20 PM, and it says orders are accepted until 6:45 PM, even though the place is open until 7:00 PM. At 6:25 PM, we were asked to leave because "we are no longer taking orders."

The food was cold. The dish of the day tasted like it had been taken out of the fridge and reheated. The salad was very soggy and very salty. I don't recommend it. It's a waste of money.

It was a really nice and different experience. It's a Polish restaurant with a living room. The staff is very friendly and unfortunately doesn't speak Dutch, but we were able to figure it out quickly in English. We ordered the mushroom and sauerkraut dumplings. There was one with cream cheese and potatoes, which was a good thing, to be honest, and that was a completely different taste sensation. I'm glad there was some confusion. For 11:50, I got eight dumplings, and fried onions on top. Since I'm vegetarian, there weren't many other options. But I'm not dissatisfied with this dish. I could definitely come here more often.

We called specifically to see if the restaurant would be open, if there would be a menu available, if there would be any seating. Then we asked if we could be there in an hour. Yes, yes. And finally, one dish was available after an hour by car specifically to them... Edit. Are the dishes from the menu always available? We called and received this information... We arrived and learned that the only thing we could order was the daily special, a cutlet... And we drove an hour specifically to your place. You simply lied to us over the phone. So, one star! Because instead of the full menu, there was only one dish. We also called to ask if we needed to reserve a table and a dish before arrival. We were informed that the table would be available on the menu as well. And yet, there was only one dish from the entire menu...

But by Dutch standards the food is good. Very friendly priced too. Order at the bar, food is brought to the table. Furthermore, the dining room and the staff radiate little atmosphere, but the taste of the food makes up for it. High chairs and play corner available. No changing table in the toilet. Free parking in front of the door in the blue zone.

We ordered two portions of ribs and two portions of Russian pierogi the pierogi came after 30 minutes after which the children managed to eat and we were still waiting for our ribs total waiting time 50 minutes. In the pierogi practically no cottage cheese plot and old potatoes in additions to the ribs on one plate 2 small potatoes and on the expensive one 5 times more terribly unpleasant service and expensive for such small portions that you can't eat enough

We came to Swojak encouraged by positive opinions. After entering the premises, we were "welcomed" by a waitress who - we had the impression - was not very happy with the arrival of new guests. During the entire process of serving our table - unfortunately, the first impression was maintained. The food we ordered also leaves a few points for improvement - Hungarian cake: the top layer was great, very tasty, but the bottom part was completely burnt. Russian dumplings: overcooked, sticky and mixed with dumplings with cabbage. The only dish that was a complete success was the devolay and I have absolutely nothing to complain about here. I trust that it was an accident at work and accidental shortcomings, I wish you all the best and further success :)

The food is very good, but that's the only plus of this place. Most often, I order food there and pick it up in person, and every time I pick it up there is a misunderstanding. Yesterday I ordered 2x Pierogi with meat and 1x Russian dumplings. Upon receipt, the gentleman claimed that he had only 1x Pierogi with meat saved. Even though I clearly wrote the order. The previous times they looked similar or even worse. Each order placed via messenger is confirmed by sending a like by them. When I came once to order at the agreed time, the staff told me that they hadn't seen the order, even though they sent a like, I had to wait over half an hour to eat. Mistakes often happen, such as: I order a Hungarian pancake and I get groats with goulash. The restaurant never took responsibility for the order or offered any compensation. The food is great, but the organization and contact with them leave much to be desired. I would think twice before recommending this place to anyone.

Food ordered by phone. After two hours, when there was still no delivery person, I contacted the restaurant to confirm that my order had been accepted. The caller informed me that the delivery was delayed due to many orders that day and assured me that the supplier would be leaving soon, 2.5 hours had passed since then and the supplier was still missing. Embarrassing and no respect for the customer.

I ordered tripe - delicious and devolaja - I got it with completely overcooked rice, I signaled it to the staff, immediate reaction in the form of a discount on the next order. Today I also ordered dewolaj, I received it with delicious potatoes, the dewolaj itself was also top class. I'm glad I gave them a second chance and reported the irregularities because now I will definitely be their regular customer due to the delicious food and amazing, human service. I do not recommend. Beetroot soup was the worst soup I've ever eaten in my life... I couldn't swallow it so I couldn't cope with it and skipped it... the second course, the pork loin, was ok at first... But when the overgrowth started, the veins in the pork loin were impossible to chew and I spat out every piece on the plate, so I said thank you ....potatoes, salads ok. My partner's dish is some tasty Gypsy pork loin. Neutral service. I don't recommend it and even if I was hungry, I wouldn't go back there.
