Very tasty pastries and great service, we took a detour on the way home for the mocha tart, but the brownie or apple carrot cake were also just delicious

The service at this bakery is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, I have some mixed feelings about the quality. While the croissant was ok, the muffins and baguette fell short. The muffins had an unexpected sour aftertaste, and the baguette was too airy for my liking. Though it was made with sourdough, it lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect. It’s not a terrible bakery by any means, but overall, it’s fairly average—nothing that really stands out.

I just had the best apple turnover ever! It was still warm, fresh out of the oven, and completely changed my perspective on what a truly delicious pastry should be.

the nicest bakery in the center of The Hague.

We picked up a few pastries on Friday afternoon. These were all absolutely not tasty and I doubt whether the pastry was fresh. After a few bites, most of it ended up in the trash.

This place has such tasty sandwiches. They are always fresh with tasty fresh ingredients. Cheap and tasty sandwich shop, Chicken avocado bacon sandwich €5.25, delicious. They also have cakes, juices, muffins and other small treats

2.30 euros for a filled cookie!! At least a euro too expensive.

't Bakkertje has been located in the Oude Molstraat since 1838. This makes 't Bakkertje the oldest bakery in The Hague. However, it has managed to retain its nostalgic appearance of ''the past'' and the products have remained traditional. You will find various types of cakes, pies and typical The Hague specialties You can also go here for sandwiches, packed lunches, hot sandwiches, or custom orders. Buying soft drinks, dairy products and juices are also possible. Super friendly service. Their sandwiches are top notch. Open every day from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday 11am - 5pm

Vegan baked goods! Thank you for your kindness! I was only in Den Haag for a half day and stumbled upon this bakery by chance. Upon recommendation I ordered the Kersenflap and it was magnificent: baked to perfection with a light crispy outside textured by large sugar granules with airy soft layers inside and a jam that intimidates all other jams. Furthermore, the card reader wasn’t working so the owner (?) gave me the pastry on the house. What a great way to crown my experience in the Netherlands. This bakery is a must if you visit Den Haag!

Very nice, somewhat smaller bakery that has been around at the same address in the Hofkwartier in The Hague since 1885. The Hague's oldest bakery, which has consciously retained the charm of bygone times in terms of ambience, offers a selection of cakes, pastries, tarts, bread, Hague specialties and sandwiches that are rarely found elsewhere. And when you stand in front of the counter, you often have a problem precisely because everything here is so delicious that you can hardly make a decision. Do you take the filled cake or the carrot and walnut cake? Or should it be the Oliebollen, which is considered the best in the city? And then there is also the famous Haagse Poffäh. But if you are looking for a small gift or a travel souvenir, you will find it here. The offer ranges from pretty Haagse Hopjes cans to Poffäh liqueur and a packet of fine butter-cinnamon biscuits known as “Storks” as a Haagse specialty. Five stars for all of this!

Top baker! Nice Hague specialties and delicious bread. Try the spelled/sourdough, light and beautiful - old-fashioned - taste. Also delicious cake and egg cakes. Pastries (also from Kelder, the famous hazelnut) also very worthwhile. And while you're there, the best croissants.

Small, nice bakery with a nice atmosphere. Baked goods are fresh and extremely well crafted. The vegan banana bread, apple turnovers, cakes and raisin rolls are particularly recommended. The service is friendly and patient. You can't get much this good in The Hague for the price, and in such a central location!

Cookies from this shop are so good, high recommend as a souvenir if you are visiting!

Delicious Dutch breads and pastries. The hazelnut cream cake and the fruit bread with some sort of sugary caramel filling were very good. They require cash or a debit card which has the tap feature. And look closely at their biscuits, some are savory

The food was really great and the employees were really friendly. Me and my friends only got the brownies and a sandwich, but the service was nice and the price is affordable for the quality of the food. Can recommend to anyone looking for something small, yet affordable. Very delicious.

Ik heb net een sinaasappelsap gehaald en het was erg teleurstellend dat je voor bijna €3 euro een niet geheel sapje krijgt. Het zit niet helemaal vol aan de top wat best jammer is voor de prijs. Voor de rest zijn de broodjes wel erg lekker en ook hele goede service!

This is easily the best bakery in town! The truffle taart is flavorful, nutty, moist, and reasonably sweet. The hazelnut crème cake is also crunchy, airy and rich and the richness doesn’t overpower the hazelnut flavor so you won’t feel stuffed after one bite. Highly recommended to those looking for the signature & classy De Haagse pastries!

A very good and decently priced sandwich (and some nice baked goods). While it may not be a full meal, this is a spectacular place if you are getting lunch during a work break or if you are busing the city and prefer something light/are on a shoestring. The ladies that run the place are super nice and speak English! The downside is that it’s a small space and it gets crowded quickly. Not wheelchair accessible.

Fijn bakkertje midden in de stad,belegd broodje kan ook, drankje mee en dan de paleistuin in via de 'geheime poort'. Curious? ask me!

Estuvimos casi 10 días en La Haya y encontramos esta pequeña panadería con pasteles frescos y pan todas las mañanas. Desayunamos sobre la marcha y también recogimos sándwiches hechos allí para nuestros viajes a Amsterdam.
