Nice place, but the middle-aged DJ has his mouth open JUST a little too often while spinning. It’s not exactly great for DJing this way, let's say xoxo.

Lately we have been going to play jeu de boules at Schaaf halls. Super fun and then a bite to eat. There are also nice beers on tap. Highly recommended in Leeuwarden

I always enjoy having a drink at Douwe Egberts. It's a nice place to sit at any time. But lately, the coffee hasn't been good. I don't know what you guys are doing. This time, someone came with me to ask for a replacement for my coffee, but I got a "no." Even though I paid for it. It was a latte I ordered; I got more of a "coffee wrong" with some whipped cream. Coffee has to taste good, otherwise it's no fun at all.

Nice little pub with an amazing selection of whiskey and beer and really friendly people. The memorabilia found inside is a cool touch. Edit: at closing time when I last visited, the place turned into a smoking room, the curtains were drawn and the doors and windows were closed. The manager's response to my expressing that it was unpleasant was dismissive, saying that it was what they normally do. Not normal.
