Well, a pancake restaurant, nothing more and nothing less. Starting with the food: pancakes. Not much can go wrong with that. Still, they weren't exceptional, but they weren't bad either. As for the atmosphere—perhaps we were unlucky and it is partly the target audience of a pancake restaurant—but what an incredible amount of noise in there. The service was friendly. Dessert made up for a lot: creamy ice cream and good quality whipped cream. The jars of syrup and sugar are standing open on the table. I wonder how many children have already spat all over them. At the table next to us, the syrup certainly provided some entertainment, because you can hold it right under someone's nose and threaten to smear them.

Nice place! It was busy, but that's because it's popular. We had to stand in line for a bit to get a table, but that didn't take longer than 5 minutes. The food was delicious; we had the pork tenderloin satay and it was very good! The satay sauce is a bit spicy though. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly! And despite the crowds, it doesn't take long to get your food. I would definitely recommend this if you ever come into the area! I just didn't understand why there was an open sugar bowl on the table. That collects dust, and if someone accidentally spills a little, it could easily end up in that bowl. I would put a lid on it, just like with the syrup.

It was very busy when we arrived, but we got a table within 5 minutes. I found the pancakes quite expensive at an average of €18, so I ordered pork tenderloin satay with fries and salad. It was delicious, as was the dessert. One minor downside: the sugar and syrup jars are permanently on the tables. The syrup jar has a lid, but the sugar jars do not. I don't find this very hygienic if people have been sitting at the table who, for example, talk while eating or cough and sneeze while the jar is standing right next to them. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and, despite the crowds, quick.

They even have gluten-free pancakes, very happy with them.

Nice pancake house with a very extensive menu. Plenty of parking and a playground for the children. The interior could be a bit more atmospheric, but that is a matter of taste. Reservations are only possible for groups of 10 or more.

It was very busy, so I had to wait a bit until a table became available. The staff remained calm throughout. One lady was in charge. An empty table was cleared and cleaned first, right down to the chairs, before new guests took their seats. I wanted extras on my pancake; it was all arranged perfectly.

One of the better pancake restaurants in the Netherlands, situated in a beautiful wooded area. Very good atmosphere, excellent service, and generously topped pancakes in various flavors. Add a cola or a beer, and your evening is complete.

Nice location in itself. We were there on a beautiful Saturday evening; it was very busy and we had to wait a very long time for our pancakes. When they finally arrived, the ingredients on the pancakes were quite burnt (raisins, pineapple), which detracted from the taste; that is a shame. The service is friendly and they apologized for the burnt ingredients.

A well-deserved 5 stars! We ate delicious pancakes during our bike ride. We dropped in spontaneously and luckily, even in the high season, a table was available right away! The service was prompt and the food and drinks arrived quickly. The pancakes were of good quality and tasted delicious! According to our pancake expert (our son), they were absolutely delicious. The youngest member of our family received a fun toy set with the kids' pancake, which made the visit complete for her! During our meal, we were treated to a parade of apparently the Hoenderloo summer activities; always fun, especially when you can sit outside in such beautiful weather. Definitely worth a visit and delicious food!

1hr40 minutes until we got your pancakes. That included 35 minutes of waiting for a table (we were a group of 5 adults, 1 baby) and we were first in line, but quite a few people behind us in the queue received a table quicker because their group consisted of fewer people. Personnel was not willing to put tables together, I guess. Pancakes were quite tasty, that's the honest truth, but having to wait so long for a pancake is simply not acceptable. Better change that regime.

We had a delicious meal at the Pancake House today. The food here is always excellent, and today we were served by an incredibly friendly waitress. Unfortunately, this young employee seemed to be excluded by her colleagues. I even heard a colleague next to me say: “I’m certainly not going to explain it to her again.” I found that very sad to hear. I got the impression that she might not have been employed there very long and, precisely for that reason, deserved a bit more guidance and patience… It is a shame to see new colleagues being treated in this way. It detracts from the atmosphere, not only for the employees but also for guests who witness it. Just not okay.. The food absolutely deserves five stars, but because of the atmosphere and the way this employee was treated, I am giving it two stars. Hopefully, something will be done about this, because both the employees and the guests deserve a pleasant and respectful atmosphere.

The pancake was good. However, I had expected a better-filled pancake. Now, pancake restaurants aren't the most high-end culinary experience, but you can still expect something special from them. We both chose a more luxurious savory pancake. Unfortunately, the filling of the pancake was rather meager. Creativity is also lacking in the desserts; all the ice cream served is soft serve.

The pancake was tasty, but the dessert tasted stale because the plate it was served on was stale, and the solution that followed was the absolute low point: our ice cream cake was picked up and placed on another dirty plate. What a waste of the food.

Very nice, beautiful, and cozy pancake restaurant with a wide selection, but also some unique choices. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun on the terrace. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick.

Ended up here during a lovely bike ride. The selection is huge. The service is friendly. We chose an apple crumble pancake and a savory one, and they tasted great. They could make the apple crumble a 10, though, if instead of the millimeter-thin sliced ​​apple (which you can barely taste), they used a nice layer of grated apple, and then served it delicious with those crumbs and powdered sugar with cinnamon. But that’s nitpicking. A fine pancake house to just sit down and relax for a bit.

Great pancake for a good price in beautiful but busy Hoenderloo. Friendly and fast service and a cookie for the dog. Furthermore, a neat and spacious parking lot. The atmosphere is good, but I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because the terrace is located very close to the main road. Perhaps expand a bit at the beautiful and quiet rear for those seeking peace and quiet?

Great pancakes, with plenty of topping. We arrived on time so there was plenty of room, but it got busy quickly after 5:30 and then the acoustics aren't very good. The children received a coloring page, great. Unfortunately, prices for toppings are not clearly stated beforehand; if you want a pancake other than plain as a children's pancake, you pay too much because they only charge for extra toppings instead of a small version. That could be more transparent.

We ate outside on the terrace with 7 adults and 2 children. Good service and delicious pancakes. Compliments to the staff; they were all very friendly, helpful, and worked very well together. They saw what needed to be done and took action.

Lactose-free pancakes were inedible. "Fresh raspberries" were far from fresh. They had turned white, were flattened, and placed cold on the children's pancake. Another pancake with goat cheese/dates and bacon was placed on top cold and had no good flavor; the bacon was lying loosely on top and was half-cooked. Spareribs were cooked through, had a fine flavor but were nothing special.

We stopped here because we wanted to grab a bite to eat. We were sitting on the terrace, and although a member of staff walked past about four times, with or without a tray or something in their hands, they didn't let us know they had seen us. When I said "Hello" to the next person who passed by, she replied "hello" back and walked on!!!! Well, I was truly astonished. Let guests know that you have noticed them. If you are busy, say, "I'll be right there," or "I'll send a colleague." I mentioned it afterwards as well, and then she said: "I didn't know you were new to the table..." Why? We didn't have anything on the table yet. Besides, as befits a good waitress, you notice new guests immediately. The soup we ordered was delicious, by the way. But we didn't leave a tip, you understand that, right? 😉

The service is welcoming, friendly, and professional. The pancakes were black on the bottom; you can taste it. The toppings were decent, but we have had better. The selection on the menu is enormous, but whether that breadth of variety benefits the quality is questionable. The playground is next to the terrace, so you can easily see what the children are doing. The terrace is situated on a busy main road; that has a certain charm, but it is anything but quiet. In short, the service makes the review reasonably good... the pancakes and the ice cream are not a reason for us to go back again. And ultimately, you go there to eat.

Unfortunately, we couldn't get a table because reserving for 2 people wasn't possible/necessary. Upon arrival, the line at the entrance stretched outside. Large groups, however, were allowed to make reservations. Not really customer-friendly. The food, etc., is probably good, but accessibility could be better; I felt excluded because I wasn't coming with a group of children.

Called in the afternoon the day before Easter; you couldn't make a reservation, but there really was room. When we arrived, there was a long line to wait in to get a table. People were even standing outside, and groups larger than 10 people can make reservations and went straight in from the line. I find it very strange that it is possible for groups of 20 or more, but for 2 people or small parties, you're just out of luck. In the end, we had to eat delicious JK somewhere else.

A very pleasant atmosphere, spacious, bright, and roomy. Plenty of parking is available. Our dog was very welcome and immediately received treats. Water for dogs is provided. The pancakes are excellent, made with fresh ingredients and generously topped. Top-notch service, absolutely attentive and friendly. The young man was incredibly personable and took the time for a little chat. If I could, I would give more than five stars. Absolutely fantastic.

Great place, friendly staff. Some pancakes could use a makeover. The salmon pancake, for example. Less lettuce, fewer capers, and a dressing instead of herb butter would be a huge improvement on this type.

A huge disappointment, the pancakes were wafer-thin and sparsely topped. If I wanted crepes, I'd go to France. What happened to this place? Quality should be a priority, otherwise, it won't be good.

Super fun place! The pancakes are delicious, and there are plenty of options for those who prefer something different. The staff was the real highlight for us: friendly, efficient, great with our 2-year-old daughter, and simply added to the whole day. We went three times during our stay at Landal, and each time was a hit. The atmosphere is also lovely, with lovely autumn decorations, and the next day they switched to a winter and Christmas theme, which was also very well done. Kids get a nice gift (they can choose themselves) with their children's meal. All in all: a must! We had a great time!

It's so nice when vegan options are seriously considered! We had a delicious vegan pancake with spinach, bell pepper, tofu, pine nuts, and balsamic dressing here; we were really pleasantly surprised! Despite the restaurant being packed, the staff was friendly and attentive. They even had time for jokes and a birthday celebration.

Cozy place with a wide selection of pancakes (and some other dishes too). The atmosphere inside is very pleasant, but it's also busy. This can make it feel a bit like a conveyor belt. But the staff helps counteract that. They're very friendly, and even the dog was welcome! We had a fairly young boy, but he was fantastic! They always came by promptly to ask if we needed anything!
