Good pancakes with good filling

Great pancake for a good price in beautiful but busy Hoenderloo. Friendly and fast service and a cookie for the dog. Furthermore, a neat and spacious parking lot. The atmosphere is good, but I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because the terrace is located very close to the main road. Perhaps expand a bit at the beautiful and quiet rear for those seeking peace and quiet?

We got our food quickly and it was of excellent quality! It was very nice that the pancakes weren't so incredibly thick.

The food was a bit bland and almost cold before I even started eating... For the price, I expected a bit more quality from the pancake..

Great pancakes, with plenty of topping. We arrived on time so there was plenty of room, but it got busy quickly after 5:30 and then the acoustics aren't very good. The children received a coloring page, great. Unfortunately, prices for toppings are not clearly stated beforehand; if you want a pancake other than plain as a children's pancake, you pay too much because they only charge for extra toppings instead of a small version. That could be more transparent.

We ate outside on the terrace with 7 adults and 2 children. Good service and delicious pancakes. Compliments to the staff; they were all very friendly, helpful, and worked very well together. They saw what needed to be done and took action.

The service was friendly and nice, and it was lovely that the children were allowed to choose a toy.

We had a super delicious meal after we came to eat quite unexpectedly with a group in memory of my Grandma. We were served quickly and kindly. By the way, they have gluten-free pancakes that are very tasty!! Thanks for the good care.

Had a delicious pancake! We were able to sit outside in the evening sun. Lovely garden/terrace, nice and quiet, you can hear the birds, no music outside. Perfect! And very friendly staff. We have been coming here for years and we like it very much!

We stopped here because we wanted to grab a bite to eat. We were sitting on the terrace, and although a member of staff walked past about four times, with or without a tray or something in their hands, they didn't let us know they had seen us. When I said "Hello" to the next person who passed by, she replied "hello" back and walked on!!!! Well, I was truly astonished. Let guests know that you have noticed them. If you are busy, say, "I'll be right there," or "I'll send a colleague." I mentioned it afterwards as well, and then she said: "I didn't know you were new to the table..." Why? We didn't have anything on the table yet. Besides, as befits a good waitress, you notice new guests immediately. The soup we ordered was delicious, by the way. But we didn't leave a tip, you understand that, right? 😉

Lactose-free pancakes were inedible. "Fresh raspberries" were far from fresh. They had turned white, were flattened, and placed cold on the children's pancake. Another pancake with goat cheese/dates and bacon was placed on top cold and had no good flavor; the bacon was lying loosely on top and was half-cooked. Spareribs were cooked through, had a fine flavor but were nothing special.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and were thrilled. A fantastic concept, brilliantly executed. The food is superb, as are the service and the atmosphere. We only deducted one star because the prices on the English menu were inaccurate. We ended up paying more than we initially expected.

The service is welcoming, friendly, and professional. The pancakes were black on the bottom; you can taste it. The toppings were decent, but we have had better. The selection on the menu is enormous, but whether that breadth of variety benefits the quality is questionable. The playground is next to the terrace, so you can easily see what the children are doing. The terrace is situated on a busy main road; that has a certain charm, but it is anything but quiet. In short, the service makes the review reasonably good... the pancakes and the ice cream are not a reason for us to go back again. And ultimately, you go there to eat.

Had a delicious meal here at Easter When we arrived, there was a line waiting, so at first we were afraid there wouldn't be any room left, but that wasn't the case; you just have to wait a bit and they come and take you to a table It was very busy, so sometimes you had to wait a little longer

Called in the afternoon the day before Easter; you couldn't make a reservation, but there really was room. When we arrived, there was a long line to wait in to get a table. People were even standing outside, and groups larger than 10 people can make reservations and went straight in from the line. I find it very strange that it is possible for groups of 20 or more, but for 2 people or small parties, you're just out of luck. In the end, we had to eat delicious JK somewhere else.

Unfortunately, we couldn't get a table because reserving for 2 people wasn't possible/necessary. Upon arrival, the line at the entrance stretched outside. Large groups, however, were allowed to make reservations. Not really customer-friendly. The food, etc., is probably good, but accessibility could be better; I felt excluded because I wasn't coming with a group of children.

I had beef salad, it is way too salty. Not much salad. Generally bad.

Had a great pancake. The price was reasonable and the portion was good. The only thing was that the cheese could have been spread a little shorter on the pancake. We will definitely be back.

What a fantastic place! We were a group of five adults and had two delicious meals here. Lots of choices, great service, fast service, and good prices. Definitely recommended, even if you don't have children. The only minor drawback was that a few menus smelled bad.

A very pleasant atmosphere, spacious, bright, and roomy. Plenty of parking is available. Our dog was very welcome and immediately received treats. Water for dogs is provided. The pancakes are excellent, made with fresh ingredients and generously topped. Top-notch service, absolutely attentive and friendly. The young man was incredibly personable and took the time for a little chat. If I could, I would give more than five stars. Absolutely fantastic.

Great place, friendly staff. Some pancakes could use a makeover. The salmon pancake, for example. Less lettuce, fewer capers, and a dressing instead of herb butter would be a huge improvement on this type.

A huge disappointment, the pancakes were wafer-thin and sparsely topped. If I wanted crepes, I'd go to France. What happened to this place? Quality should be a priority, otherwise, it won't be good.

Perfect for park visitors and tourists. For those who enjoy dining out and want something beautiful and delicious, it's a bit less appealing. Always try the carpaccio at every restaurant... unfortunately, it was all gone.

Super fun place! The pancakes are delicious, and there are plenty of options for those who prefer something different. The staff was the real highlight for us: friendly, efficient, great with our 2-year-old daughter, and simply added to the whole day. We went three times during our stay at Landal, and each time was a hit. The atmosphere is also lovely, with lovely autumn decorations, and the next day they switched to a winter and Christmas theme, which was also very well done. Kids get a nice gift (they can choose themselves) with their children's meal. All in all: a must! We had a great time!

It's so nice when vegan options are seriously considered! We had a delicious vegan pancake with spinach, bell pepper, tofu, pine nuts, and balsamic dressing here; we were really pleasantly surprised! Despite the restaurant being packed, the staff was friendly and attentive. They even had time for jokes and a birthday celebration.

A very nice pancake house with truly delicious pancakes – but the biggest surprise were the spare ribs, which were incredibly tender and easily flake off the bone with a fork! 👌 Prices are absolutely fair for the Netherlands. Also, very friendly service and a lovely, matching decor. Highly recommended!

Cozy place with a wide selection of pancakes (and some other dishes too). The atmosphere inside is very pleasant, but it's also busy. This can make it feel a bit like a conveyor belt. But the staff helps counteract that. They're very friendly, and even the dog was welcome! We had a fairly young boy, but he was fantastic! They always came by promptly to ask if we needed anything!

It's often busy, but that's for good reason: the pancakes here are delicious! They have a wide selection and can even be customized to individual preferences! The staff is super friendly and clearly enjoy their work!

Eating there was both a positive and negative experience... It looks quite cozy, with a wide selection of pancakes, which is a positive... However, the service was poor. Upon arrival, we (two people) wanted to sit by the window, but were turned away even though there was room for four people. We were placed at the back of the restaurant at a table for two. Later, two people walked in and sat in the seats we hadn't been assigned, and they were helped. A bit strange, but okay. Once we were seated at our table, the waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink. We asked him, "Do you have Coca-Cola?" to which he responded irritably with, "No, of course not, we have Pepsi." I replied, "I don't want that." Another negative point for the service... All in all, the restaurant is nice and cozy, but the waiters (which we had) could be more friendly about everything.

It took a good half hour to get our two pancakes, even though there were only a few people there. The pancakes were wafer-thin and black. The toppings, apple slices, were as thin as razor blades. The other pancake was also thin and black, though generously topped with onion and mushrooms. The service was good, though.

One of the most famous pancake houses in the area, but there's nothing to suggest they deserve it. First, the food. Nothing special, and everything was very stingy. One person had a pancake with whipped cream, and they literally got one spoonful of whipped cream (which they also paid an extra €1.25 for). Second, the owner. In a word, awful. We could hear him yelling at him constantly from where we were sitting. And then he got really angry at two small children who just wanted to ask him something. The staff, on the other hand, were very friendly.

Delicious food, friendly service. The Smurf pancake was a nice idea but not very tasty, especially with a lot of sugar and artificial coloring.

We ate here during our stay at Landal Miggelenberg. The menu is truly extensive, with so much choice. I had the apple crumble pancake, which was absolutely delicious! The other guests had the Bacon/Pineapple/Ham and Cerise (with cherries) pancakes, which were also a huge hit. My daughter had the children's menu with a Capri Sun, a very large pancake, and a children's ice cream in a cute cup. She also got a coin to choose a toy—so fun! It's truly child-friendly. The staff was very friendly. A truly lovely restaurant, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area :-)

All tables and chairs are wiped down before you sit down. They could learn something from that at the Buitenhuis in Leiden, where you stick to the tables and chairs.

It's a great pancake restaurant. The pancakes are good. The pancake restaurant is also large. Parking on the premises can be a problem. It can get quite noisy. You should be aware that you can't make reservations at this pancake restaurant, but there's always a spot available. You might have to wait a bit, but then you'll be kindly shown to your spot. We're glad we were able to enjoy a pancake here.

It's what you'd expect from a pancake house: busy, crowded, and lots of kids. Despite this, the staff did their best to keep things fun, and they succeeded reasonably well. The food was okay. It's fine for a quick bite, but don't expect too much.

Ordered a croquette sandwich. I received two croquettes, which were still half frozen. The croquettes weren't anything special either. My girlfriend ordered a pancake, which was very thin and tasteless. The service was friendly. But we won't be back.

The food was very good, but the service was terrible. The staff was disinterested, and the man (I think the manager/owner) was downright rude and unkind to the guests. There were quite a few noisy and screaming children.

During our stay in Hoenderloo, we discovered this pancake house around the corner. We had high expectations based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. We didn't find the pancakes anything special, not all the staff seemed friendly, and the decor looked empty and a bit old-fashioned (perhaps a deliberate style choice, but it didn't appeal to us). However, there are also positive aspects, hence the three stars. The menu offers a wide selection, so there's something for everyone. Moreover, there's ample parking, which is convenient.

Very nice lady who helped us and could help me with a dietary request, very cool. Thank you. I give the food 4 stars, not bad at all, but I would use fresh farmer's bread with an omelette, I happened not to have taken any bread with it, so no problem for me, but others at the table happened to. Very cozy and nice otherwise and definitely worth going back.
