Nice restaurant and good food, had called in advance that we had a walker with us and when we arrived we were immediately told that they had a nice spot by the window for us where we had space to put the walker. Very friendly and attentive.

T-Rex is really a top choice when it comes to barbecue dishes. Good meat with tasty herb mixes and delicious fries. Buttery tender pork belly and tasty spare ribs were a party on the tongue. The salmon was also very tasty, in terms of cooking it could have been cooked a bit shorter in our opinion. The carpaccio was also very good. The service is friendly, attentive and relaxed. The interior of the restaurant is not super modern, but fits well with the atmosphere of a barbecue restaurant. The desserts were fine, but also a bit ordinary. All in all definitely recommended!

I went to this restaurant with my family for my wife's birthday. The experience was terrible. Bad service, an absurd delay before the order came, we had to ask for cutlery, the ribs were burnt, etc. When it came to paying, they did not accept payment by card with N26 and they even charged me 3 euros extra for paying with a Mastercard. I felt disadvantaged as a consumer. What a terrible treatment. I will never go back.

Monday evening we went to T-rex in Putten. It's really good food for a nice price and very friendly staff. We were helped quickly!

We came to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family — and it was a total disaster. The place was packed and severely understaffed. Service was beyond slow, and when we asked for plates to eat the mixed meat dish we ordered, the staff looked at us like we were from another planet. Everything took forever. When the food finally arrived, it was awful — overly spicy, poorly cooked, and absolutely not worth the wait. And the cherry on top? They charge an extra €3 fee if you pay with a Mastercard, whether debit or credit. Seriously? That’s outrageous. This place is falling apart — terrible food, awful service, and shady payment policies. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Never coming back.

We ate at T-Rex Smokehouse at the weekend – a really cozy place. The brisket was extremely tender and juicy, the ribs were beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. We were really impressed and we can highly recommend it!

I went to this restaurant on a recommendation. After reading through all the Google reviews I decided on the spare ribs. I found this a solid 7/10. The meat wasn't tender enough for my taste, it didn't fall off the bone on its own. There was also a spicy sauce on the spare ribs that covered up the BBQ sauce. Not bad, but I would have liked the extra sauce in a separate small container. The ambience is nice and the waiters were very friendly. Overall good, but nothing “special” for me.

We went to the restaurant as a family. The service was super friendly and the first thing we did was bring our child something to paint. The ambience is nice and very clean. The food was incredibly good. We tasted a lot and everything was delicious. An absolute recommendation!

This restaurant has specialized in everything related to barbecue and it shows: they really know what they are doing here! The food we chose (salmon, brisket, chicken) was wonderfully tender and well prepared. The side dishes were also tasty and flavorful. So nothing to complain about in terms of food. The speed of recording and serving was pleasant. The dessert was also fine, although the pieces of stroopwafel in my ice cream were rock hard because they were frozen There were also downsides: the cassis I received was not cold. The service seemed friendly but also a bit rushed. Due to the barbecue in the restaurant it was quite smoky inside so not really recommended for people with breathing problems. All in all we had a great evening here with some minor areas for improvement

A steakhouse that doesn't understand the difference between English and Medium. Unfortunately, there are no more drinks if you don't order twice immediately. It's a shame, the atmosphere is good, unfortunately there's not enough space between the tables. It's better to increase the price but offer quality. Never again.

If you really know BBQ, you know this is not the best. We had the 'Have it all' platter to try out the Brisket, the Ribs, the Chicken and the Sausage. The Brisket looked red inside, probably from the seasoning, which makes it seem like it was marinated long instead of having a crust by charring it on the BBQ longer periods of time. The Ribs were the 'fall on the bone kind', but they seemed to have used the same marination (red colored meat), which gave it a similar flavor as the Brisket. The same counted for the Chicken which was way too salty again with a similar flavor (red colored meat). It would have been better if each had its own flavor, definitely on the same platter, which seemed like a missed opportunity. The Sausage actually was the best tasting meat, which had jalapeno in it for the spice. Also the loaded fries with chili (we opted out of the bacon bits) was delicious. The staff and service was super friendly.

We came to this restaurant through TikTok. We are huge fans of grill and BBQ and we definitely had to try this spot out. What stood out was the staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even when we asked what they recommended, they were well thought out and everything was correct. This made the experience very pleasant. The food was tasty. We took the BBQ platter for 2 people because we wanted to try everything. What we liked most were the bacon, spare ribs and the beef brisket. The dessert cake was also very tasty! If we are ever in the area, we will definitely visit again.

A great experience! What a good BBQ restaurant, and everything was delicious. Small tip; fresh fries would complete the experience, but the loaded fries with chili are very tasty. Although it is a long drive, this was certainly not the last time. Just plan days in and around Putten to go to this restaurant :-)

What a wonderful meal we had here tonight! It was truly an American BBQ experience! Because we couldn't choose, we decided to "have it all" which turned out to be an excellent choice! A little bit of everything. We really enjoyed it and have had a lot of BBQ's but this really surpassed everything! And also a compliment to the service tonight, everything went really well, they made sure that we had a great experience all in all!

Recommend this place! Very good food! Cozy place. Not expensive. Recommend the BBQ Chicken! I had the Brisket Burger, which was very tasty and had fresh ingredients. My wife had the BBQ Chicken which was magnificent! Also just falls off the bone. We also had a little cup of BBQ beans which fits perfectly with this season!

Take away is substandard or I am spoiled with my own more than 15 years of low & slow experience. The brisket and the Texas sausage tasted like yesterday's leftovers: dry and tough! This really shouldn't be the case! The salmon...perfect!! You can't say anything about that. The salad...where's the dressing? Too bad, missed opportunity! Once, never again, hopefully it will be better if you reserve a table because this was a pittance!

Cozy steakhouse and the meat was fine. I was very shocked by the costs for the side dish of fries and a mini bowl of satay sauce for €6 and fries sauce for €5. Sorry for a tablespoon of sauce, that is absurd and a reason for me not to go anymore.

Worst brisket ever. Extremely tough, you could barely chew it. Staff not friendly and they don’t even give you cutlery for takeaway and forgot mayonaise saus.

Tasty food. Not refined, but it is BBQ. The trays on which the food is served are irritating. These are bl at the bottom and then rotate when cutting the food. The paper underneath the food also becomes moist and tears, causing you to sometimes get it in your mouth. Excellent service. Even though they were full, I still found a spot for me.

Delicious dinner tonight. We had the "have it all" dish for 3 people. What we thought was a bit strange was that there were 2 sausages and 1 chicken leg on it. Understanding goes by weight. Personally, I would use slightly fewer types of ero0. It's a bit unusual to share a chicken leg with three of us as well as the sausages.

This restaurant was still on our list to visit. Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing for the price. The BBQ spare ribs were super tasty. The BBQ chicken was also excellent. I didn't think the brisket was very good, but that could be a matter of taste. The nachos weren't very good and you got a very small bowl for a hefty price. The coleslaw was not very fresh. The food gets 4 stars, but because of the price it gets 3 stars. For a small bowl of nachos and 2 main courses with a separate bowl of mayonnaise (€2.50) and 2 drinks we spent more than €80. We didn't think this was worth it.

Great tasty food and good portions

We spend our day at a near swimming pool place and decided to put a cherry on the cake by having dinner here. The temperature this day was incredibly good 32° (in the Netherlands is almost a dream) so we could easily sit outside since everyone was inside with the airco. We had pulled pork, chicken wings Alabama, nachos, loaded fries, brisket and ribs. I most say the flavour was good in each dish, but for the ribs I expected the meat will fall apart of the bone, and that didn't happened, that was a bit disappointing. For dessert we had ice with chocolate, a delicious smores with maria cookies and ice and a very typical cake (for the area we heard from the waitress) called arrejescake. The service were great, very helpful, could answer our questions, specially for the kids choices. Well recommended.

Went here with very high expectations and a lot of sense. The atmosphere and decoration are top notch, very cool. The salmon pieces as a starter were very tasty! As a main course the tasting type, I like everything so couldn't choose. The sausage is super tasty and unfortunately also the highlight. Unfortunately, the pulled pork, pork belly, spare ribs, chicken and brisket are less so. All taste a bit the same, not much distinguishing each other, which is a shame. The pork belly actually looks more like a weak piece of bacon (yes, it comes from the pork belly, but still). Could really make more of it

Nice and attentive service. Food is served quickly. The portions were more than adequate and food was good. We expected a little more BBQ flavor from the meat, but it was tasty. We found the 'trays' on which the food is served with a piece of paper underneath to be a small side note. The tray is a bit convex so it is not stable on the table and the paper becomes wet and limp and before you know it it is on your food. Could be better!

We had been looking forward to the T-Rex for weeks. The pictures and reviews made our mouths water even from home. The layout of the store is really cool, as is the location. We were the only ones sitting outside, so perhaps the service was a little slow there. But OK. The food is well prepared and tastes good too. But nothing more. BBQ chicken, spare ribs with coleslaw and beans. We were looking forward to something special and received something normal. We ate somewhere else on the second evening of our Putten stay.

Very tender and tasty meat, you really can't choose wrong. Only the brisket was not entirely to personal taste. The pulled pork was the tastiest together with the Oreo milkshake

We had the have it all where we got all types of meat and everything was really great, except for the sausage, but oh well, that didn't matter. Super tender chicken and delicious pulled pork. Starter was tasty, main course was disappointing. Spare rib tasted burnt and the steak was impossible to chew, it had a mushroom sauce that really came from a package. I also found dessert disappointing. We always had to make a huge effort to get the attention of the staff for a drink. I wouldn't go there again

The many reviews lead to high expectations. However the bbq food was an enormous disappointment. The brisket tasted cooked instead of smoky grill flavour. The ribs tasted like ketchup. This is not American style bbq. Service didn't even ask if we enjoyed the food. I will not return.

Nice meal, nice piece of salmon. However, for the price of the main course, I expect it to include a standard salad, but you have to order this separately (it was a good portion).
