What a lovely place! I stumbled upon it by chance. We had a surprise lunch. It was delicious. The service was very pleasant and welcoming.

Good business. Very friendly staff. Very good meat.

Popular, modern restaurant. Good selection of fairly traditional dishes. They also have a delicious fish salad. Pleasant atmosphere, open kitchen. And even an IPA beer (Bird of Pray) on the menu! By the way, they have beautiful leather placemats from Pavellini. We'll definitely be back.

Service and problem solving were good. The food was subpar considering the price.

Aldaar een lunch genuttigd. Gevraagd of onze hond mee naar binnen mocht en dat was geen probleem. Zeer rustige en grote Ridgeback, maar toch ! 👍 Biertje van de tap, rosé biertje, uitsmijter en een biefstukpuntjes in teryaki verder geheel tevreden. Heerlijk gegeten. Zeker een aanrader !

Zeer zeer slecht. Staat nummer 1, wij durven dus nergens anders meer te gaan eten in Putten. Staat in onze top 3 van meest slechte restaurants van de afgelopen 24 jaar (en we hebben zeer veel restaurants bezocht).. In de keuken staan wat goedbedoelde studenten wat aan te rommelen met ondermaats kwaliteit voedsel. Tip van de maand;; ga ergens anders heen! Dit is echt zonde van je geld.

Dat was zeer matig en wel hierom: de kalfs T-bone zat vol met vliezen, waardoor je het met mes en vork uit elkaar moest trekken. De groente bestond uit een maïskolfje, ongaar, een halve niet geraspte wortel met zand en 2 stukjes broccoli. Het andere gerecht was een salade vispalet met een koude vispalet. Op de vraag of het gerecht goed was, gaven wijvaab dat het vispalet koud was. Dat hoort ook zo was het antwoord, want het is een koude salade. Tsja, dat is niet zo. De salade wel natuurlijk, maar het vispalet moet lauwwarm zijn voor de smaak. De 4 luitjes in de keuken moeten daar meer tijd aan besteden. Ze stonden nu maar een beetje te lummelen, want het was niet druk. Dat hebben wij wel anders gezien in het verleden

A friendly and welcoming welcome! Cozy terrace. Varied menu. We had the fried eggs with bacon and cheese, which was highly recommended. Fresh, robust brown bread. Especially delicious as a side dish during the bike ride we took. Other tables were also serving delicious, fresh meals. We'll definitely go back to Marktmeester next time we're in the area.

The delicious lunch was a warm meat sandwich and the tuna salad sandwich was excellent! And well-prepared.

Two Rotterdammers randomly picked a place on Kerkplein. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We've now ventured beyond endive and beetroot; we really didn't dare try crème brûlée with bitterbal. We're gathering courage to try it next time. Oh, and the fries were delicious, too.

Gisteren bavette gegeten en mijn gezelschap biefstuk en salade met kip. Vooral beide stukken rundvlees waren erg taai en we hadden allebei een onwel gevoel de gehele avond en nacht. De kip in de salade was donker en smaakloos. Ook de salade die we er als bijgerecht naast kregen, had geen smaak. In het verleden hier wel eens lekker gegeten, maar nu komen we niet meer terug.

Heerlijke lunch bij toch wel de top van Putten samen met de Waag, kaart is inderdaad karig vergeleken bij de zeer uitgebreide oude kaart! Kwaliteit is absoluut op het zelfde niveau als eerder, verzorgd en smaakvol. Bediening uiterst vriendelijk en verzorgd meisje (jong) maar niets mis mee!

Had a nice meal indoors (last time on the terrace in the summer). Good ambiance, service and delicious mustard soup with salmon and then a salmon steak. Even though the place was full, you could converse well with each other. Definitely worth it again!

This is a restaurant and terrace where the very professional and friendly staff do their best to please the customer. Very good. But that service goes far beyond the limited, somewhat traditional menu and the quality of the food. It's not bad, that's for sure, but it's not mouth-watering either. The cod is on the dry side, the mussels tasty, but really nothing special. Furthermore, and that is probably also the target group, older customers who really appreciate a pork tenderloin and satay with lots of sauce and fries. In short, an excellent place to enjoy the service and a beer on the terrace, otherwise questionable.

The dog was allowed to come along! That makes it more pleasant for us to eat out. We had something to drink and a water bowl for the dog, how nice. Break bread with spreads in advance, highly recommended! Starters very tasty I had the creamy pepper soup, delicious. Main course pork tenderloin mushroom sauce, well fried, beautiful rosé. Satay with delicious peanut sauce, atjar, but most likely homemade, was coarser but much tastier and crunchy. Delicious egg and hot beans, prawn crackers top it off, a big 10 really. And then the fries or fries are so crispy and a large portion too. Delicious beer on tap completed the evening. Service was great, friendly and very fast. In short, highly recommended to go again and if you were in doubt, go ahead!

Had lunch here on Saturday afternoon during our holiday! Enough space on the terrace. Terrace is not very big but cozy! We are kindly received and greeted quickly We had lunch with the market manager and indicated that we preferred not to have fish as it says "be surprised by the kitchen". We got a soup (Italian tomato soup) and two thick sandwiches, one with a croquette and one with serano ham. This was all very tasty, especially the soup! It also looked nice on a shelf (see photo) Service is very friendly and hospitable. Fast operation In short, a very good experience!!

We had the vegetarian ravioli and the vegan yellow curry. The ravioli sauce had no flavour. The Thai curry with cashews and tofu was OK but the sauce wasn't particularly inspiring. There were a few pieces of vegetables but more would have been better. The naan bread wasn't particularly good either. The prices were relatively high for what you got. We requested some tap water and just got two glasses rather than a carafe. The coffee was very good, including the decaf. They only had cow milk though. The location is OK, looking on to the Kerkplein car park. The staff was friendly and the service was fine. It wouldn't be my choice for an evening out.

Ook wij komen al jaren en waren altijd zeer tevreden. Helaas....nieuwe kaart. Mijn favoriete vispalet salade is zo ongeveer gehalveerd, de prijs niet ( krimpflatie noemen we dat). En op de salade ceaser lagen een paar keihard gebakken stukken gepaneerde kipstukjes, niet oké. Mayonaise 1,50 extra, klein beetje patat, voor bij de twee salades. Jammer

Excellent service, everyone was equally nice. The view from the neat terrace is not very inspiring, but the Market Master cannot do anything about that. What they can do something about is the fried chicken tenders where the cumin flavor is very dominant. If cumin is your thing, definitely order it, but I'm not very fond of it, especially when it's overpowering. Also, 5.75 for a small weizen (beer) is a serious amount and I even dare to call it 'expensive', although prices in the catering industry are extremely high everywhere nowadays. The toilets are neat and clean, which is also important. Still 5 stars because I see an enthusiastic brigade that wants to please you.

Wij zijn vaste bezoekers. Lunch plus gastvrijheid wordt minder. De prijs niet! Er moet duidelijk een tandje bij. Borden waren redelijk kaal en weinig fantasievol. Bediening werd (door de senior!) afgeraffelt en geen oog voor detail.

This will be my first review in my entire life and that's because the market master is really more than worth it. We walked in and it looked very nicely decorated. our coat was even accepted and hung up. the doors were opened for us so the first impression was very good. the food reinforced this good impression by a factor of 10. we ordered the pork satay and the steak and I can only say that this restaurant is one of the top 3 restaurants where I have ever eaten. If everything was 3x as expensive, I would have paid for it too. Unfortunately I live far in the south, but otherwise I would of course come back here much more often.

The only disadvantage is that the market starts early and the Market Master doesn't open until 10am, I know 7am is too early but 9am on a market day would be nice. We stood in line to go in. Review lunch at the Marktmeester in Putten. After looking at some reviews and the menu of the Marktmeester at our holiday address in Putten, we decided to have a nice lunch here. When we arrived around 2:15 PM, the place was practically empty and we were kindly told that we could choose a spot ourselves. My travel group wanted the warm goat cheese salad and I wanted a ham spread. I was informed that because there was a market in front of the door, dishes could only be chosen from a modified menu today. This meant that the ham bouncer could not be made. The lady who took the order asked if the extensive sandwich that was on the menu could be delivered without mushrooms. This was no problem. When the dishes were served, the bouncer I ordered turned out to be a farmer's omelette folded in half. That was a big disappointment because I don't like omelet. The adjusted menu turned out to only mention the farmer's omelette and there was therefore a communication error as I had used the term bouncer when ordering. I tell the bouncer, the person who took the order understood farmer's omelet. This can of course happen, we didn't have to pay for the omelette either, but the disappointment was there if you had been looking forward to a tasty bouncer for a while. Personally, I think if the shop is practically empty and the customer would like a ham sandwich, how complicated is it to prepare a few fried eggs? We are not talking about a complicated complex dish and certainly does not take more time than making a farmer's omelet. In short, here is the advice. Focus more on the customer and, during quiet moments, see whether you could deviate from your limited menu. The cappuccinos were okay and the warm goat cheese salad was more than sufficient. Warm welcome, friendly and knowledgeable staff. A delicious and extensive menu. We had a delicious lunch here. The homemade French onion soup gratinated with brie and Parmesan cheese is highly recommended. Many compliments to the entire team!

We ate here twice during our few days away. How nice it is when the service recognizes you right away, with your wishes and all! Due to pregnancy I asked for a small portion and was immediately asked if I wanted this for lunch as well. It is a nicer place inside, clean (I sometimes experience something different in restaurants these days), the food is delicious and looks great and the staff is attentive and understands 'how hospitality works'! Highly recommended! Make sure you reserve in advance to avoid disappointment.
