And the staff wasn't exactly cheerful this year, but better luck next year 👍 This year, 2024, the food is still not quite up to par in terms of hygiene. Boxes of frozen fries had been sitting on the floor for two days, along with all the junk that's on the floor, let alone if you looked deeper. The HACCP really needs to improve. And here we are again in 2025. The food has really plummeted. Sorry, the fries were soggy and undercooked. Yesterday's spring rolls were still frozen in the middle, so expensive. I won't be ordering anything hot for the rest of the week, which is just a shame.

We stayed at the park, where we ordered a gourmet meal at this restaurant. There wasn't enough food (for almost 60 euros), but even worse, the hygiene was so awful! Mouse droppings! Compensation was four magnums. Initially, they offered to compensate us if we ate there, but later that was no longer an option. In short: terrible. We would advise against eating here or ordering takeout! See photos!

Order fries for seven people. One family-sized bag and two individual fries, they say. Fine! My son picks it up and sends a Tikkie the next day for €30.80. Excuse me? I check the prices on the website and do the math: I'm €12.50 overcharged. Exactly the price of a family-sized bag. I've probably just been charged twice. I go back to the store, but suddenly there's nothing there. Maybe my son "bought four cans"? Yeah, right. As if a 17-year-old boy doesn't understand that he can't take that home. Next time I'll go to Smulhuisje. More reliable, more customer-friendly, and tastier too.

Vegetables were old and cold, fries that arrived in a 190-degree bath were cold. The schnitzel wasn't seasoned as described on the menu. We had to ask three times for a drink and still got the wrong one. The mushroom sauce was so cold it tasted like ragout. In short, something you can complain about to the staff. However, when we did, they thought we were crazy because it had come straight from the kitchen, so it couldn't possibly be cold. For everything we received that was "cold and old," they could only offer us a coffee. In short, it really wasn't worth 80 euros.

We had a great meal during our stay at Veluwse Hoevegaerde. Portions aren't huge, so dessert is recommended. The terrace is pleasant and has a large lawn.

After a year of bad experiences, I finally got some fries. The hogweed wasn't cooked, the peanut sauce was cold, and they'd never even heard of frying fries, even raw. Unfortunately, it's a nice place, but looking into the kitchen, they lack experienced staff.

We were there last minutes for the bite. Got ourselves vegetarian and Mozzarella pizza. Both were great. Vegetariana is completely different from what I have eaten in the past but I loved it. It had lot of pesto and ricotta on top. Good variation. People were nice too.

Nice ambiance, both inside and outside. Service was friendly. I changed the dressing on my salad and asked for no onions. I was told that this was no problem. In the end, I got a salad with onions and the dressing. They just poured a little balsamic vinegar on top, and there was no dressing at all on the rest of the salad. The salad was very tasteless. The goat cheese was delicious, though. They were supposed to serve bread, but I only had two mini rusks. The burgers and fries were apparently good. There's an outdoor mini golf course and a petting zoo right next door, as well as a swimming pool.

We went here with our bites and trpspen outing. We got our dinner and dessert here. The food was really not tasty. The schnitzel was not tasty, the vegetables that were served with it on the plate were really old junk in our opinion. The taste was not tasty but it also looked limp and unappetizing. Only the dessert was okay, but hey, you can't really mess up ice cream. The waffle with cherries was okay.

Friday 9 May and Thursday 15 May with 4 people lunched, food was delicious service a smooth friendly young man and smooth lady. Saturday with 4 people dinner eaten, 2 x schnitzel 1x chicken satay and 1x steak. For dessert 1x dameblance and 3x waffle with warm cherries and whipped cream. We enjoyed the food and very friendly and smooth service. We live in Lelystad but will definitely come back again to eat delicious food.

Where shall I begin? First of all, based on Google's 4.3. How is this possible? Chicken satay has more fat than chicken, schnitzel normally has a crispy crust, here it is fatty and soft and the fries are hard and chewy. People around us were also chewing a lot. In short, not really good.

A park restaurant located right next to the Veluwse Hoevegaarde and also accessible to non-guests. We thought the food was excellent and ate there no fewer than three times during our stay. The pork tenderloin skewer and medallions tasted great. (In my case with pepper sauce which I like better than the champion sauce) I liked the schnitzel a little less, but the fish and chips tasted great again. They also have delicious, locally brewed deer beer. For dessert, the sorbet (soft ice cream) with rum and raisins was irresistible to me. In short, an excellent and affordable experience.

I had a delicious meal here on Monday evening, September 4, and enjoyed a varied meal that would also be suitable for larger eaters in terms of quantity. Fortunately, New Life was open on Monday, while this is not the case for almost all restaurants in the Putten area. Absolutely no regrets. The atmosphere is casual and cozy, the terrace overlooking the greenery is nice, the owners are nice, enthusiastic people. I went there again a week later for lunch with a nice drink. They are great there; the brasserie is an absolute must in my opinion!

Had dinner here with 4 people on October 3, 2022. Well varied menu. The quality of starters and main courses was good. Also an eye for details and presentation. The service (Ilona) was excellent. Also took the gourmet package in the bungalow several times. Good variety, good quality, good quantities. Also a compliment for the customer friendliness when a previously placed order had to be changed. New Life is highly recommended and I will definitely visit again on my next holiday.

I thought it was a good restaurant, it is located on the Veluwe farm, a holiday park, we rented a bungalow there, ate there a number of times, the staff was also pleasant, had time for a chat, even though it was busy it was always full. Full, that says something

Had dinner here tonight with high expectations. Well, I quickly adjusted that expectation. Twice the cut, 1 with onion and the other with mushrooms. Seriously, there was 1/3 of a mushroom on the MB plate, five strands of onion, the sauce was watery. The cut itself was not crispy but soggy and it was not the expected 2 ounces either. The salad was also worth crying over! We said something about it and reduced the price a bit. Now when I check my statement it appears that he almost charged the €40.00. I would think twice about whether you want to eat here
