Restaurant De Waag in Wijk 00 Putten

Went here for dinner yesterday. Friendly staff, nice atmospheric terrace. Good service. But it is abnormally expensive, I had 1 glass of coke and 10 shrimps, nothing else. Price? No less than €39, you read that right, €39 for 10 shrimps and one glass of coke. And I have to say that it was not special at all, it was fine, but not worth €39, I have never seen anything like it. Otherwise it is a fine restaurant.

After reading all the reviews on various platforms, I decided to eat here with my family during our family weekend. Warm welcome and the requested table was available. Cozy and good food. My daughter-in-law told me that I was celebrating my birthday and the response was nice (no, no spoilers). Food was good and in good portions. To remember when we are next in the area

Na lezen van recensies op diverse platforms gekozen om met mijn gezin hier te eten tijdens ons familieweekend. Hartelijke ontvangst en de gevraagde tafel was beschikbaar. Gezellig en goed gegeten. Mijn schoondochter had verteld dat ik mijn verjaardag vierde en daar werd leuk op gereageerd (nee, geen spoilers). Eten was goed en in goede porties. Om te onthouden wanneer we weer eens in de buurt zijn.

Delicious food. You can taste that the food is good, fresh and homemade. This is a restaurant where the food is still prepared according to traditional methods (in an open kitchen). The service is fast, neat and correct. No long waiting times. Cozy atmosphere and you can sit very comfortably in the conservatory and it is well heated. Always busy, but a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Wonderful evening at Restaurant De Waag Recently ate at De Waag and what a wonderful experience! The food was excellent, with dishes that were full of flavor and perfectly prepared – the steak tartare in particular stood out. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Definitely recommended!

It says on the website; open from Thursday to Saturday from 5 p.m. We wanted to have a bite to eat there yesterday (Thursday 2-1) and had consulted the website for opening hours. Unfortunately we were standing in front of a closed door?! Shame!

It's cozy and the food is delicious

Nice restaurant. Delicious dishes. Pleasantly busy. Because we had not made a reservation, there was (fortunately) 1 table left. Right next door so a bit cold. When it calmed down, they offered us a table under the patio heater, so that we could enjoy our dessert even better.

Definitely better than many so-called star restaurants! Service always nice, informal but super correct, food is maximum value for money, original and something tasty for everyone. There is nothing in Putten and the surrounding area that can match this! 👍👍👍👍👍

Delicious dinner tonight at De Waag. It was very pleasant and, as always, excellent with the food. It was now an autumn tasting.

Delicious food, we had the autumn menu with deer. Cozy sitting in the heated conservatory. Smooth service who kept a close eye on everything, despite the crowds.

We hebben lekker gegeten, maar vonden het aan de dure kant. Ambiance binnen vonden we wat achterhaald, bedieining kundig, goed en snel maar niet persoonlijk en warm.

Top! You don't really need to say anything more. Absolute recommendation. Even though I got the wrong main course first. No point deducted for that because we were really very satisfied. Ambience, drinks, service and especially the food - exceptional! Tip: Be sure to reserve.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten , mijn vrouw had een 3 gangen keuze menu met een proeverij van voor gerechten en nagerechten en een heerlijk hoofdgerecht. Zelf een lekker voor en hoofdgerecht. Prijs kwaliteit helemaal okee. Vriendelijke bediening ,leuke ambiance

Heerlijk gezeten op het verwarmde terras/serre met vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Wintermenu genomen met proeverij van voorafjes, stoofpotje van hert en haas, en proeverij van desserts. Lekker wijn erbij, maakte het helemaal af. En dat alles voor een schappelijke prijs. Een absolute aanrader.

Really delicious food, super cozy restaurant with super friendly service. We both had the autumn menu which is highly recommended. You even get several garnishes!

The meat was questionable or the venison was poorly seasoned and tasteless. We saw that the wine was incorrect on the bill, and when we made a comment about the food, nothing was done about it, except that the lady who helped us did not become friendlier, in short, last time.

What a wonderful restaurant in Putten. Highly recommended. You don't have to be here for the taste explosions, but you do have to come here to enjoy good food. The dishes are of a good size. Service excellent and correct. We took the spring menu with a number of people, highly recommended! See the photos for this .

To conclude a midweek break in Putten, we took the autumn menu. How we enjoyed this! A delicious variety of autumn flavors, with just the right portions for us. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere in the conservatory with heaters and a blanket to keep us warm. Thank you!

Very nice and nice restaurant! Delicious food on a very sweet and beautiful terrace. Staff were friendly. We got a lot of extra food with our main courses (fries, 2 different salads). Very good service.

Tonight we had dinner at De Waag in Putten to conclude our 2-week holiday. Opted for the 3 course menu, with tastings for the starter and dessert. We were asked if we wanted to start with a basket/bowl of bread (4 small rolls with spread for, as it turned out, 7.50 Euro). During the tasting of starters, bread was also served, which was a bit surprising. The crispy chicken fillet turned out not to be crispy, but just soft. And delicious! The taste, the way it is served and the service quickly make these kinds of minor flaws disappear. Exceptionally delicious food and enjoyment! The tasting after desserts was also delicious. Top!

Tasty food super friendly staff

Our experience was great, we had champignons in creamy herby/garlic sauce and carpaccio for starters. Our main dishes were the beef with red wine sauce and black pepper sauce. The beef was a bit soggy but the sauces were great. We had a really nice bottle of red wine. The price was not abnormal.

Beautiful setting, very friendly staff. Steaks were tender, well cooked, just quite pricey for the size and the fries were not up to par (tasted like cardboard). Salad was a nice extra addition. Overall great experience!

Putvurdurrie I really enjoyed the location, the table, the service, the ambiance and the food here together with friends. Fantastic. The tasting is highly recommended, the meat is great, and the dessert is top notch. After an active day at Walibi, we ended up here for dinner, and it was great!

We enjoyed it here again!! We prefer a satay at the bar. How cozy and delicious that is! But the heated terrace is also great. The service is top notch, very pleasant and attentive. But you can also enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant or by the fireplace. An absolute must in Putten! You really have a wonderful evening out.

Insanely delicious food. We had the autumn menu. Very well prepared and large portions. Service is attentive and cordial. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures of the dishes.

Friendly staff helped us to enjoy a scrumptious "autumn menu" being a mixture of starters followed by a choice of mains, of which the venison was fantastic. We ended with a mixture of desserts. The served Brussels sprouts was delicious and the green salad just perfect. Our only critical point is that it was too much. Due to having mashed potato's with the main dish, the served bowl of fries was sent back untouched.
