'T Stamppotje XL in Diemen Zuid

So nice to have a good Surinamese restaurant nearby! The food is deliciously tasty and enough! Will definitely come back!

We just ordered a huzaren salad with satay, chicken wings and a piece of chicken chop with bone from 't Stamppotje. We bought an extra bowl of Russian salad, because you usually get a sengre bere bowl of Russian salad. Sengre bere is nothing if not thin. But at ''t Stamppotje you get plenty of Russian salad. So the extra box was unnecessary. Years ago I also ate their food in Zaandam or Purmerend. It was delicious then too. I can tell you that the taste is consistent. We also called politely to pass on our compliments. We are of Surinamese descent and find taste very important. We are critical when it comes to food. My compliments again. And for you who read this: if you have never eaten at 't Stamppotje before: give it a try. You won't regret it. Location: Diemen Zuid station. They also do catering. Ps: about the photos: we had already started eating the Russian salad. So that's why the meat isn't that much and the salad is affected 😁

UPDATE: after contacting them on instagram, we solved it nicely and quickly and got our money back. Ordered food and it never arrived. They are not reachable. What a bad service!! DO NOT ORDER!!

Please do not order here, food never arrived & they are unreachable. I think they no longer exist, but haven't updated/communicated this on the website. Update: I ordered on your website, here you can simply add products and pay and you will receive a confirmation email. If a service/product is no longer provided, the website must be deactivated. Since this is still active & I was able to pay, my money must have ended up somewhere & the account still exists. Who can I contact to resolve this?

We miss the yellow containers that the stew was in... why those small white containers now...

I've already gotten food from 't Stamppotje a few times. It was super tasty every time and even my one and a half year old girl enjoyed it every time. The owners are very friendly, as are the staff. They can also give good advice, so don't hesitate to ask questions!

Good food. I recently discovered this tent and am already a fan. The food tastes good, really prepared according to Surinamese cuisine. And the BBQ meat...TOP!!! Good tent. Especially for the Meatlover.
