Very cozy restaurant with a top chef in the kitchen and very knowledgeable and charming service. We are fans!

Ate again after three years. Atmospheric, food was excellent, tasty beers, the service was really great.

Very friendly staff, very cool and varied furnishings. The food was delicious.

Visited my daughter and ended up here by chance. What a pleasant surprise. Fantastically surprising menu with nice dishes for every wallet. We had the Salmon Fillet, Rib-Eye and roasted half chicken. Everything deliciously prepared, and provided with deliciously prepared grilled/roasted vegetables. And the basket of homemade fries was delicious, nice and crispy with a good bite. I have never had such a delicious homemade lemonade before. Too bad this tent is not in our hometown. There are dishes on the menu that I still want to try. Thank you for the good service and hopefully I will come here again when I am with my daughter.

Very nice place with delicious desserts! The rib eye was of high quality, I was positively surprised. I was also a big fan of the home made lemonade passion fruit. Cozy evening with my parents!

Very warm and relaxed atmosphere, where a good cup of coffee or other of your choice with a good bite compliment the whole. What is a shame is that all tables were occupied. But that also says something about what customers think of the business. Simply recommended

It took 30 minutes to order an Angus burger at a half-full restaurant; the burger meat was still slightly raw and at its most intense. They skimped on the cheese, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. When you bite into it, you only taste the meat and bread. The sweet potatoes weren't very flavorful and needed a bit more salt. Furthermore, the portion size was a bit small for €17.50 (+€1 for sweet potato fries), and the paper the burger sits on absorbs water and sticks to the burger. Spatially, it's an average burger joint, with wooden tables. Unfortunately, the entrance door is always open, and it gets cold inside, so a vest or jacket is necessary. The restrooms are okay—not very clean, but not extremely dirty either.

Food was okay, although the Fries didn't really have any flavor, needed to heavily salt them to taste anything. Angus Burger was fine, though the only thing you could taste was the meat (medium well) and the quite hard buns (bread). Waiting time was quite long (~30 minutes), considering there were only about 15 or so other guests present. Price quite expensive for the quality 17,50€ for Burger + 1 € Extra for sweet potato fries. Service was quite good. Location looks good and has a nice design.

I really like this place and the service with a nice atmosphere, but the only thing I don't like is that the chef is a bit greedy on the ingredients and food for the price they asking on it ,don't get me wrong the food was delicious 😋 but very very less amount of food for the the price they asking for

Lovely to sit on the terrace. Had an Angusburger with delicious home-made fries! They add mayonnaise and ketchup as standard, so it's nice that you don't have to ask for it. If you see the photo you wouldn't think it is so tasty!!

I would like to express my deep disappointment following my recent visit to Jacob’s kitchen. We were a group of friends who came for a pleasant evening, but our experience was ruined by the staff's refusal to serve us beer. There was no valid reason for this refusal, and no clear explanation was given to us. The lack of professionalism and friendliness of the staff is unacceptable for an establishment of this type. We waited a long time, hoping it was a misunderstanding, but to no avail. This situation totally ruined our evening and left us feeling frustrated and unhappy. I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking to have a good time. There are many other establishments in the city where customer service is taken seriously and customers are treated with respect. [Bar name] is not worth your visit.

A very nice place to meet, eat or have a coffee

They have vegan and vegetarian listed but not gluten free! I have a gluten allergy and the food that they have marked under the “allergy” tab is not correct. If you have cealic or a food allergy I don’t recommend! I only got a side salad, the workers were not aware of what’s in the food they make…

They changed their menu and it's a lot better than before. Most of the dishes are really great and I hope they keep the current menu for a long time.

Had drinks here yesterday afternoon! Now I have to say that I don't quickly write a review, but what a nice atmosphere there is here!! The staff is super friendly, delicious dry white wine (Chardonnay Calmel & Joseph really delicious) and for those with a small appetite, like we had, there is a large choice of different bites; the fries with Indonesian beef stew were so tasty. I'll be back soon!

Wow, what delicious food is at Jacob's Kitchen! They have a changing seasonal menu, really surprising how delicious the salmon is, what an explosion of flavor and that pumpkin cheesecake has a delicious flambéed sugar crust! Service is also very nice, spontaneous and friendly! I always look forward to visiting again! Compliments to the chef! So delicious that I forget to take a photo every time 😅

Used to be good, now it’s bellow average. Cesar salad used to be really good, nice portion, now it’s few leaves an egg, 3 croutons and you pay 12€. (NOT WORTH IT!) Korean burger worse than used to be, very dry and some parts of chicken was just too pink for my taste. Fries were ideal, nice price, tasty, crispy, nicely salted.

Top restaurant, service was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Nice contemporary decor and the meal was surprising and very tasty. We were here at a private party for a friend and the staff really did everything they could to make this party fun and enjoyable

Is to bad, they used to make one of the best burger in town, now instead, it is a joke... the meat is definitely not Angus like they claim on the menu, the bum is totally wrong for a hamburger and is not the same as they used to make previously. More, what's that half cucumber on the bread?! More on the menu is write cheese, there was no cheese and no bbq sauce was instead a mix of mayo and ketchup... this place was nice, good atmosphere but they have no continuity, food is always different, although won't be to difficult for a cheff to just follow a recipe, also they have the same exact menu for the last 5 years.

This was a delicious little place to eat. Lots of great choices, friendly staff, and walking distance to where we stayed. Loved it. Will eat here again if ever back in this area.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere, you can not only eat some snacks and drinks here here but also have dinner. The food is well above average, with very excellent taste and interesting combinations. The portions are moderate but just right or as the Japanese would say "Hara hachi bun me" or eat until you are 80% full :)!

Had a lunch there as there chicken was halal. Tried there Korean chicken burger and a toastie along with a coffee and a hazelnut cake slice to end. Great ambience, great food and staff was lovely too. Definitely going back when I’m in Amsterdam again. 9/10
