Had a delicious meal at this bistro in Diemen! The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. For starters, we shared carpaccio and snails — both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For the main course, we had the surf & turf, and it was simply divine; the quality and balance were just right. What tops it all off: the prices are particularly competitive for the level they offer. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

Terrible service. We sat down at a table without asking if it was free. The waiter reacted immediately in an unfriendly manner and said in an irritated tone that we should have asked first if the table was free. The man in the white shirt is totally incompetent.

Delicious here a week ago We shared the starter; the beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked as requested, the gorgonzola sauce was perfect, delicious fresh vegetables, a nice generous portion of fries. My wife was also very satisfied with her dish; every bite left her wanting more! The wine list offers a nice selection. Delicious dessert with advocaat ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate, enough for 2 people. It is an experience to see how this chef, who I believe is alone in the kitchen, manages to pull this off. We have been coming here for many years and keep coming back. Compliments to the chef and the service staff. Thank you for a successful evening.

Please get more/better staff. It took longer for the waiter to bring us menu's and take our order than it did for the food to arrive. You would think it was due to the rush but no he simply forgot us. And the chicken skewers is not the chefs favorite meal to prepare i guess, because the meat was hard and salty.

**Very bad experience.** I ordered the *La Tour d’Eole* with a different sauce, but was immediately given the wrong one. After reporting this, I was given a plate back that was burnt and where the sauce had clearly been rinsed off and reheated. Then I received another new plate with only 1.5 shrimp and the wrong sauce again. After waiting 1 hour for a main course, the food was still not good. Very disappointing. I will not be eating here again. I was told again that I had ordered incorrectly. I went home hungry. See image: one shrimp without a head and a steak; I took a bite from a cut piece.

Very nice cosy little family owned and run restaurant. I’ve been twice now and have twice been delighted with the quality of food and the very friendly helpful service. A little gem!

Cozy restaurant. The monthly menus are well thought out, and if they aren't to your taste, there is always a wide à la carte selection. Service is a bit inconsistent but consistently up to good standards. The acoustics could be better, but reasonably nothing can be done about that.

We had the pleasure of experiencing delicious classic French cuisine. The cooking here is done very neatly, using beautiful ingredients and served with excellent service. Highly recommended for a lovely dinner with family and friends.

We booked through The Fork and were thrilled. Then we received an email from The Fork saying our booking had been canceled due to an error. I contacted The Fork and was referred to the restaurant itself. I called, and the owner couldn't help. I was still offered a full-price meal, but I wasn't really interested.

We went to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our Diemen grocery store. The food quality was more than adequate to good. It's just notable that this isn't the first time items are missing from the menu, forcing you to choose more expensive alternatives. The young waitress could be a bit more sincere.

A cozy place with friendly service and a good menu. Portions are generous and main courses include fries and fresh vegetables at no extra cost. The complimentary bread with herb butter is a nice touch, and the desserts are delicious. Great value for money. We will gladly return.

Coquille St, Jacques as a starter was excellent. Veal liver with bacon and fried onion!! More than fine. Primitivo red wine: class. Atmosphere good and beautiful in Christmas decorations!!!

Celebrated my husband's 75th birthday here with 16 people. Enjoyed it immensely, the food was delicious and the service top notch. The consultation about the options in advance was also great. A personal menu at no extra cost. We look back on a fantastic party and will definitely come back.

The establishment is located at the entrance gates of the Sniep residential area and the Hartveldseweg in Diemen. A short walk from the terminus of tram 19 and the stop of bus 44: . And there are plenty of parking facilities nearby. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of our capital, Le Bistro is an absolute culinary recommendation. The chef and service ensure that you leave the restaurant completely satisfied.

Our favorite restaurant in Diemen for years. Peter surprises every time with the combination of flavors in the dishes. In this restaurant, quality takes precedence over quantity, but that's fine, because you get enough and don't go home with an overfull stomach. The service is neat and relaxed.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here and it was great! Pleasant and knowledgeable staff and the owner who is also the chef, who together with his team made every effort to make the evening a success. The food is great, we had a walking dinner this evening with various delicious dishes! Free parking nearby and the tram in front of the door for guests. Highly recommended for a dinner and for your party!

Once again it was very tasty and pleasant.

The clerk (younger, tall woman) was very unkind and curt. I don't understand why you would work in the catering industry. It is understandable that there is a shortage of staff, but that does not mean that you have to behave this way. The food was fine, but not all dishes were good. The tuna was still cold inside, and the meat from another dish seemed spoiled. So not eaten. The mussels were very tasty. All in all, I don't recommend this restaurant unless you like to combine your meal with a free lesson in rudeness. In any case, I won't be going there anymore.

First and certainly not last time. Diemen has a top restaurant. Quality of my food deserves a star. Really great. Why atmosphere 4 stars. Just like in Amsterdam the last 2 weeks, it is very quiet. But the restaurant exudes quality and atmosphere. Thanks for last night!

We had our wedding lunch here and it was superb. Peter and his wife were attentive and gracious hosts who worked with us to prepare a lovely menu and set up the restaurant for us. The food was well prepared and delicious, and the selection of wines just perfect. The service was lovely and we were well taken care of. The restaurant has a cosy and warm atmosphere and we’d happily dine here again. Highly recommend Le Bistro. Thank you for a memorable lunch.

The food, importantly, is very tasty! The entire menu looks delicious, so it was difficult to choose... In short: highly recommended!

A Bistro as a Bistro should be. And then with an extra x-factor. Owners, full of love for the profession and more. Atmospheric, hospitable, passion for gastronomy. Excellent service and dishes. Quality/price ratio excellent. Menu and wine list, something for everyone. You will be seen, heard and pampered here. Rightly qualified as a top performer in Diemen and the surrounding area and even in North Holland.

Heerlijk gegeten met mijn peettante van 92.

Helaas is mijn vriendin ziek geworden van ongaar fazanten vlees , en ook helaas was de pasta met zalm een smakeloze hap , de helft teruggestuurd , jammer

Dit was voor ons de eerste keer bij Le Bistro We waren met een vriendin van ons die hier al vaker is geweest. Hele vriendelijke ontvangst, heerlijk buiten een tafeltje uitgezocht. Wat een heerlijke ontspannen sfeer, lieve mensen . Eerst een paar drankjes gedaan toen een voorgerecht we namen alledrie de uiensoep, die was zo lekkerrr, als hoofdgerecht had mijn partner kalfslever ,ik had heerlijke mosselen en onze vriendin een pittige pasta. Alle gerechten waren zo smaakvol en met liefde bereid dat was duidelijk te zien. We hebben zo genoten dat ik echt kan zeggen: jullie hebben er 2 nieuwe klanten bij. Nogmaals heel erg bedankt en tot gauw. Chapeau

Eenvoudige maar smaakvolle inrichting prachtig servies lekkere gerechten lekkere rosé. Aangenaam verpozen , correcte bediening. Mijn Tonijnsteak van de grill met teriyakusaus op nadrukkelijk verzoek "tamelijk rauw" was voortreffelijk. De voorgerechten Carpaccio di Napoli (en de Gerookte zalm met mosterd dillesaus) alleen al waren bijna een hoofdgerecht. Een absolute aanrader.

Von Vorspeise bis Nachspeise ist alles sehr lecker. Total freundliches Personal. Nettes Ambiente. Sehr hundefreundlich.

Wat hebben wij gisteren heerlijk gegeten met zijn vieren. Een super gastvrouw en (h)eerlijk eten. Alle gerechten met liefde gemaakt en geserveerd. Fijne ambiance en ongedwongen sfeer. Graag tot een volgende keer.

Heerlijke avond gehad met een groot gezelschap. Eten was heerlijk, en iedereen had tegelijk en warm eten. Leuk meegedacht in menu. En een heerlijk wijntje. Helemaal top!

Heerlijk gegeten en service was uitermate vriendelijk!

Vriendelijk personen, het eten is niet van topkwaliteit, verder een glas witte wijn van niet topkwaliteit voor 5 euro is wel een beetje overdreven.

Gezellig en fijne bediening. Lekker gegeten.

Zoals steeds weer een hoge kwaliteit en ondanks een personeelstekort een uitstekende bediening. Ik blijf er komen. Zonder meer het beste restaurant van Diemen.

26-03-2022 Gereserveerd bij Le Bistro. Wij (2 personen) hadden niet vooraf vermeld dat wij een etentje, dat ons was toegezegd, tegoed hadden i.v.m. hetgeen hieronder. Na ons voorgerecht herkende de eigenaresse ons en kwam aan onze tafel. Ze zei "wij hebben nog iets goed te maken". Het complete eten, inclusief drinken, is op kosten van Le Bistro. Wij waren verrast door dit mooie gebaar en bedanken u hiervoor. Het eten was heerlijk en wij hebben ervan genoten. 30-05-2021. De verjaardag van mijn vrouw is wat ons betreft heel slecht afgesloten, met dank aan Le Bistro. Het moet mij van het hart dat deze dag beschamend was voor mij en mijn visite. Om 17.00 uur afgesproken voor het voorgerecht, helaas (nadat ik had gebeld) werd het nog 17.45 uur. Het voorgerecht was om 17.30 nog niet eens klaar. Ter compensatie werd mij een fles witte wijn gegeven. Dan zou je denken dat men daarvan geleerd heeft. Opnieuw afgesproken voor het hoofdgerecht om dat met ca. 30 minuten te bezorgen. Na 45 minuten opnieuw gebeld en ze zouden direct wegrijden. Uiteindelijk werd dat ook 1 uur na de afgesproken tijd afgeleverd. I.p.v. 17.30 uur werd het 18.30 uur. Het eten was net niet koud maar ook zeker niet warm te noemen. Vandaar mij score van 2 sterren en dan houd ik het nog netjes. Jan Niesing
