A cafe/restaurant located on the edge of the town center. Reasonable menu, good service. A bit difficult to get in, as are the restrooms.

The old guard among the staff gossips openly and unsubtly about new customers and behaves so rudely and unfriendly that I wonder if early retirement wouldn't be better for everyone. How dare you be so contemptuous of people with money to spend? When this "hostess" opened her mouth, my wallet dropped. Too bad for this place, but at least we know what happens. There are plenty of other bars in the area where you're treated normally. What a manager's nightmare it is to be forced to keep someone like that on staff due to a staff shortage. The young woman behind the bar is thankfully friendly. I don't understand how she puts up with colleagues who only make her job more difficult. I hope she can find work elsewhere soon. It's a shame to have to function in such a toxic work culture at such a young age, for a bar wage, and with colleagues who so egregiously sabotage your chances of receiving a tip. Honestly the worst experience in the catering industry and with customer contact that I have ever had.

Very tasty in the establishment, I sincerely recommend it. Very pleasant and attentive waiter. Special thanks for the excellent service, it's been a long time since we've seen such service in the Netherlands, we're very satisfied. The establishment is always crowded and there are very few seats, especially on weekends. Very cool location.

Terras zat vol dus we dachten, vast een leuke tent. Beetje jammer dat mij al roepend over het terras gevraagd werd wat ik ook weer wilde bestellen…. Kom die 5 meter even naar me toe lopen dan. Toen eindelijk het bestelde kwam waren de broodjes een deceptie, we hadden broodjes warm vlees besteld maar er zat veel te veel pindasaus op, het vlees moest je zoeken en bovendien was het koud. Serveerster vertelde dat ze alleen op het terras liep en maar 1 man in de keuken. Vervelend natuurlijk maar dat moet geen reden zijn om koude broodjes af te leveren. Deze zaak slaan wij de volgende keer echt over.

I went with my friend for a few beers. I ordered fries with it. The fries came on a plate with a salad with sauce, but no cutlery came with it. I asked the waitress but it must had been a busy day because they didn't take care of us. I definitely don't recommend it.

Been coming there for years for the special sandwich and/or bouncer. A household name in Schiedam, small, but nice!

They bring me raw meat and if i ask they cook normal meat, one stupid waitress start argument with me i have say that... Strange i need say i need food for humans and cooked meat, i am not animal😂😂😂very stupid thinking

Very busy and like everywhere, 1 bill due to... busy or few staff. The fact that you as a customer always have to sit back and calculate is not important to them at all!!!!

I asked for a brown sandwich with cheese and extra tomato and actually for the first time there was extra tomato on the sandwich, great! Just a pity that the orange juice is now in a narrower and smaller glass!

I see photos here with generously filled sandwiches... Well, after a long wait, the pineapple sandwich arrived... just slices of supermarket bread very thinly topped. No garnish, what a shame. And my hot meat roll with peanut sauce. Even worse, no peanut sauce to be seen on the wafer-thin little slices. When I asked where me. I was told that peanut sauce was what the meat was fried in!? No garnish or butter. In retrospect it was a good thing because my sandwich was floating in the oil, yuck. I left it there and no one asked why. With 2 cokes I paid almost 19 euros. Well, I'll eat somewhere else from now on.

Ordered a Hawaii toastie, we got 2 casino sandwiches with a slice of cheese and the pineapple was hard to find and that for €5.25, also half burnt and the cheese was barely melted. Indicated that we found the price very expensive, but the only response was that I will pass it on. No further compensation. We don't come here to eat anymore. The terrace is nice for a drink.

The best cleanest and coziest dining table there is in Schiedam. Nice staff especially Joey and Shiniva. Delicious food and a beautiful location. Ask for Joey or Shiniva to serve!!!.

I didn't like it. We sat there for half an hour, wondering about us. Couldn't even order a drink. They walk by all the time, see that we haven't ordered anything yet, make eye contact all the time, but nothing.... nice to talk to other customers. Maybe because she saw that we are not Netherlanders... no idea. Just didn't like it. Just left at once.

Es un lindo lugar para probar la comida neerlandesa. Nosotros comimos hutspot ( carne con un pure de papas, zanahoria y cebolla) y stampot boerenkool ( salchichas con verduras). Los platos eran muy abundantes y ricos. Al llegar nos sirvieron 2 cocas colas chicas y al final pedimos 2 bebidas extras. Por el total pagamos 27 euros. La señora que nos atendió era muy amable y el ambiente es muy bueno.

Unique spot in Schiedam. Actually, we shouldn't review it, because then suddenly "everyone" will go there ;) But this is wonderful to sit and enjoy. Nice beers, nice wines. The food was also excellent. We are new to the area and to Schiedam, but we are happy to know this place already. We will definitely come back more often!

Had lunch here together last Saturday. I had the Nicoise salad. According to the menu it contained sardines, anchovies and tuna. However, the latter could not be discovered. So the person serving on the terrace was approached. I was immediately asked if I wanted another drink at the company's expense. Then the chef himself personally apologized! So, in my opinion, excellent service! Portions are more than sufficient and, not unimportantly, fresh products are used. Will definitely come back here again when I'm in Schiedam!
