Burrito tastes very nice. Would order again

This is the worst food I have tasted in my life the taco has no flavor when you make the first bite it feels wrong the staff are rude I highly don't recommend this place I threw the food in the trash

The burritos are getting smaller and smaller with less and less filling. After spending a considerable amount on food, you should be full. Unfortunately, that's not the case here, even though I'm a light eater. That's the last time I went.

The food was pretty good and it arrived on time.

Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. The staff was anything but friendly; I felt completely unwelcome. The burrito I ordered was also a huge disappointment; it had barely any sauce and almost no chicken. Instead, it was mostly rice and beans. For this price, I really expected much more, both in terms of service and quality. This was a one-time experience for me, but unfortunately, never again.

My experience with the food was fantastic, it was hot and arrived on time after I ordered. Upon pickup, the restaurant looked neat and clean, and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend it to everyone!

A wonderful experience at Taco Mundo Spijkenisse! 🌮 The food was delicious and fresh, especially the tacos and quesadillas. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Everything was prepared quickly and with care. Definitely recommended—I'd love to come back!

Ordered 3 enchiladas online. They looked completely different from the pictures on the website. They were tiny, and you had to look for both the chicken and the ground meat with a magnifying glass. They tasted mostly salty, but nothing else, except sambal. The sauce didn't come separately, so it must have been somewhere in the flabby pancake. It could have been anything, but not an enchilada. Total cost for 3 flabby things: €24. Never again!

We've been waiting for our order for two hours now. We've called every time and are told, "It's almost here." It was for plain old nachos, once and never again.

I had to wait two hours for my order, even though it was only supposed to take 45 minutes. They couldn't reach me by phone. My husband drove over there himself. They were busy due to sick staff, and that happens, of course. But what I find most horrifying is that my husband was told they simply turned off the phone and laughed about it! And we only had to wait two hours. Which probably would have been much longer if my husband hadn't gone over there himself. I'm not used to this from Taco Mundo. Unfortunately, I can't leave a complaint about this branch on the website, as they're not listed. They did, however, make the order on the spot, and it was super fresh and delicious for us. That's what the one star is for.

Updated on 20-11-25 Food ordered 1.5 hours late, supposedly already 45 minutes in transit. Call was hung up on. I went back, our food was still there. The phone had been deliberately turned off because they were receiving multiple calls about why it was taking so long. Reason: sick I received a tub of ice cream to make up for it. Two years ago, delivery was super fast, larger containers, better cheese sauce.

I've ordered twice since the reopening, as I loved Taco Mundo before it closed. Both times went terribly wrong. The wrong food was delivered, items were missing, etc. The first time, they were cooperative and brought the missing items, but the wait was two hours. The second time, I was given a very rude phone call. The man said he wouldn't correct the mistake because it would come out of his pocket (it was for loaded fries, €12) and was downright antisocial.

Ordered food for €27.12. Finally, after 90 minutes, the delivery driver arrived. I ordered two classic tacos, but they were lukewarm to cold. So I called, but the delivery person said they're always cold. The ground beef, however, was warm, which wasn't at all, and it didn't look appetizing. I asked for iceberg lettuce on the side, but it wasn't included. I didn't get any more, and they promised me a discount next time. What a ridiculous place. Never again will I get Taco Mundo.

Ordered food and had it delivered. Delivery was good. Food was a bit less, not in proportion to the price. I paid 41 euros for two people 2 bowls (which apparently had to contain ground beef, not seen or tasted) 2 x churros and a corn on the cob. Food was not special. One-time order.

Very happy with it. We ordered the grilled chicken nachos. The nachos were deliciously crispy and generously filled. The delivery driver delivered them within the allotted time. We will definitely order again.

I ordered from Uber once, and the food arrived late and cold! The tacos weren't very filling, and the nachos weren't crispy, nor was the cheese melted! First time I've ordered, and it will be the last! If I had noticed the food was cold before the delivery person left, I wouldn't have taken the bag and would have asked for a refund... Almost €50 worth of food, only to end up making a sandwich at home...

Ordered 50 euros worth of food, everything was full of rice and there was no chicken anywhere to be seen. As if waiting 80 minutes wasn't funny already. Called: we will hang your address next to the cash register next time you will get a discount. As if I will order again. Gadver. Save yourself your money.

TERRIBLE! Never order again. People, save your money and your hunger. A super antisocial employee who, working from home with children running around in the background, refuses to speak to you. She hangs up on you after you share your complaint. Our tacos (4 pieces) arrived without meat, filled with soggy rice. And the nachos were presented without cheese, without ground meat, like a vomit bowl. I took photos and videos of it, which you can find on Facebook in the large groups.

Ordered something with pulled beef, but there was no pulled beef in it ONLY RICE!!!!!! AND THEN CHARGING €8.95 FOR A WET CLOTH FILLED WITH RICE......... NEVER AGAIN TACO MUNDO BAHHHHH ZERO STARS!!

Add that you want caramel sauce with your churros, otherwise you will get everything but that.

How terrible this was! The taco chips look like they are 3 months old, the enchilada is stuck in the box and I can't get it out. And… they are not reachable by telephone?

Okay food, no place to eat, service a bit slow

Food was delivered somewhere else, after 2 hours we finally got the food and to me the original looked like porridge.

Ordered food at 7:36 PM. Would be delivered no later than 8:21 PM. They aim to deliver it within 30 minutes. Finally called at 8:35 PM. That I've been waiting for an hour. It would be out the door at any moment. You could clearly hear from the way they communicated that they had forgotten the order. Finally delivered at 9:15 PM. No excuse, nothing. Just literally a “Hi. Bye." You will then receive a portion that is more like half a portion. It's literally half the amount you used to get at Taco Mundo. The container is only half full. Very disappointing. For me this is no longer worth repeating.

Ordered together with a group at work last Sunday. Because I can't stand peppers, I specifically requested the street tacos without salsa mexicana (which is practically thrown on everything) because they contain red peppers. Guess what... so it's just on it... and instead of guacamole and sour cream there was a spicy red salsa with it... So I couldn't eat it... luckily I also ordered an enchilada, which was small, but tasty. (only product without salsa mexicana on the menu).

I ordered a taco, a wrap and a coke at this location. 2 out of three orders are incorrect or not delivered. The Thuisbezorgd web page did not clearly state what was in the taco I ordered. Other products stated that they contained sour cream and this one did not, so I chose this one for that reason. (I can't eat sour cream.) Weird: it did contain sour cream. My drink was also missing. I gave the taco to my boyfriend since he can eat it. So then I called; Was I told that I couldn't get a new taco without sour cream because they wanted back the originally delivered Taco? My friend had already eaten this. How could I have known that they wanted the taco back if something was wrong? I then reported that the web page does not have correct information, it can be really dangerous for people with allergies if ingredients are not clearly displayed. But: they didn't want to know about that. So no food for me. The wrap was okay though. But yes, very disappointing.

Sorry, but anyone who gives this store 5 stars is drunk or has only had boiled potatoes, dead boiled cauliflower and a dry pork chop. The food is of extremely poor quality. Perhaps if you eat it there it may be something, but picking it up and eating it at home is a very bad idea.

Pathetic. Compare the product photo from the site with mine. It's better to burn 30 euros on the campfire, at least you stay warm. Oh yes, and put on your glasses because the portions are cutely small.

SCAMMERS!!! After having to wait 2 hours for our order last Sunday (in between calling where they were, and promising that they would be there in fifteen minutes and then still having to wait more than half an hour), the order turned out to be incomplete when we unpacked it. ! Called again and they would deliver the rest as soon as possible. Of course I never heard anything again, and my complaint was not responded to. I will never order from here again!

Food is delicious, one of the best food in Spijkenisse. I am very satisfied, I order a menu every week. Food is always hot, fresh and affordable too. Everyone makes mistakes, don't understand the 1 star reviews. My only comment is that since opening, the taste of jalapeno has become less spicy and I think that's a shame. Taco Mundo Spijkenisse is a top company with very friendly staff, delivery people and a top chef! Thank you for everything, you are great 👏

Having been to mexico, i didnt expect much but after 2 tries its a no for me.

Waited 1.5 hours for an order over €30. The delivery person apologized under the guise of having to do it. Called twice in these 1.5 hours and received a different excuse twice. 1st time the food was just on its way and 20 minutes later it was said that the food was almost ready and would leave soon. Nothing in compensation and no response to online complaints. Complaint via Facebook, wrong branch was mentioned. This is very unfortunate. Then a standard response to email under all 1 star reviews... I wonder if I will also receive that and if they will respond via that. I do not recommend this case for the time being until it is properly resolved.

That's the only downside.

Tasty! I wasn't familiar with the concept yet, so I went into it with an open mind. Fortunately, the friendly service was very helpful in choosing a vegetarian dish. The first time we were asked to come back later because of the crowds. We understand that everything does not run smoothly at the opening, but sending us away and asking if we will come back later is a total 'no go'. Tried today via the website. It is remarkable that a link in an email, with which you can follow the progress of your order, indicates that it has already been delivered immediately. The site also indicated that it would be delivered within 30 minutes, while this came after 45. So that's not right. The food is not hot, which we are used to from Mexican cuisine. The Enchiladas were lukewarm. In addition, a few jars of sauce were missing for which you had to pay extra. To report this via a call, an automatic recorded band will say that it is busy and the connection will be disconnected. Very, very disappointing. So this is the last time. Fortunately, we know Mexican restaurants that know how to deliver food and service.

Last night I had my first takeaway from Taco Mundo with my family. Very positively surprised and what an asset to Spijkenise. Quality of food is excellent and the hospitality of the staff is also very good.

I understand that it is busy, but I have been waiting for my order for 2 hours... they also do not have a landline number but a 0900 number. Why can't I reach anyone by phone? I am told that it is too busy and that the line is automatically disconnected... not a second time for me.

Your website is very unclear. You can order online, you provide your address, the order will be delivered within half an hour, but... then you look carefully at your confirmation after an hour and you think huh?! Delivery address of the store itself?! Then you try to call (0900 number only) and the connection is disconnected because it is too busy. There's only misery in the store itself. And people say “we don't deliver” but you do have delivery scooters? 🤔 good story. In short. 1 star.

Sorry, but this has been an absolute disappointment. Waiting almost a full hour for three simple enchilada chicken. We even had to threaten to give money back, but that was not listened to either. Too many things went wrong to mention. Too few and incompetent staff, only confusion about whether or not to deliver and who is in charge (customers in the store always get the short end of the stick, as several witnesses have said). Even though the store has just opened, this is simply not possible. Get it together otherwise you will be done very quickly in Spijkenisse.

I thought it was a nice experience, beautiful place, good service and delicious food.

After having to wait half an hour for a burrito and a bowl, I thought I had been punished enough. Arrived home (less than 200 meters away) Turns out the bowl is cold. Once heated in the microwave, I discovered that the bowl was not filled proportionately at all, and I was left with almost half a container of chips. The burrito was still somewhat manageable. This was the first and last time they will see me there.

Tonight my son and I will simply be sent away. Sorry it's busy. (Nobody in the shop) if we can come back in half an hour. Eh, I didn't think so.
