Given the other places in this location, this is definately more friendly and I recommend it

The food was delicious. The owner recommended several Indian dishes, and they were delicious. The portions are large, and you can take any leftovers home in the containers he brought. You can park right outside, but be aware of the zone sign: between 9 and 18, you can park for two hours with a blue parking disc; after that, there's no restriction.

After years of ordering, I finally went for dinner. A lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. The food is, as always, perfect. Whether you choose the madras, chicken balti, rogan josh, tandoori, or butter chicken, you'll go home feeling satisfied. The naan bread is also very good (which is quite rare in the Netherlands). In short, order or dine at Tajmahal. You won't disappoint!

It wasn't very busy due to the first autumn showers, which I loved. We had a delicious meal; the meat was tender and juicy. The portions were more than ample. The service was warm and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Delivery time is long (always at least an hour), but the food is always very tasty! If you have a request regarding the food, they also take this into account. Good service & delicious food!

Didn't really like the food, service was not nice. Very short answers and little explanation about the dishes. Thought it was too expensive for what you got. Dessert was gulab jamun ice cream, very disappointing. Gulab jamun was old and dry. Not the 2nd time for me.

Amazing restaurant! Such a delicious food 😍 We had one of combined menus- Shahanshah and Lamb grill - was more than enough for 2 people + a child. Portions were generous, food was nuitrious, delicious and freshly cooked. Loved it all. And owner is very humble, hospitable, checks in with guests- very lovely place. Will definitely visit again.

Really a very bad restaurant. We ordered food (what a lot of money) and after 2 hours still not delivered. We called 20 times but no one answered, no tape to hear, nothing. Eventually drove from Almere outside to Poort and what turned out they were closed. This was not reported to Thuiszorgt, not indicated anywhere on their site or social media. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant!!

The first time we tried the hotel, the food and the restaurant people's behaviour was good. But next time we went with few friends and when we went there on a Sunday evening, and there was a private party happening there. Because of that we had to return without having food. They could have updated in the Google if they were not working that day. They said they were not working today and shut the door.

I tried several different dishes and every dish exceeded my expectations, and I tried some of the dishes several times and every single time it exceeds my expectations, I honestly think that this is the only restaurant that never changes, quality and quantity is always TOP!

Food here is delicious, we usually pick up. The food is tastier if you sit there, but the atmosphere there is substandard, not cozy and the space is too large (empty), we see few people eating there. The design of the restaurant should be taken a closer look, if it was greatly improved with more intimate places, more customers would find their way to this good restaurant.

After only ordering food for years, I decided to eat there tonight. What a difference in taste! It was already delicious if you had it delivered, but if you eat there the flavors come into their own even more. Taste was too average.I ordered Chicken karahi and biryani. Biryani was ok but karahi was too bad. And top of that service was also bad. there were just 2 guys taking order and they were super occupied and rude. I did not see anyone smiling there , I could not get this mystery. I wont recommend this restaurant

Ordered chicken chat and vegetarian samosa. Quite tasty. Samosa missed some sauce. Main course was chicken vindaloo and lamb bhuna. Both were very flavorful. The vindaloo did miss some heat, felt the spicyness was a bit toned down. Staff is friendly. Nice place for a quiet chat and dinner.

Na 10 jaar in Poort te wonen eindelijk een wat eten afgehaald.... Dat had ik 10 jaar eerder moeten doen. In het weekend de Lamb Tandoori genomen en Ik moest de Tikka Massala ook proberen dus die twee dagen later gehaald... HEERLIJK.

Best Indian restaurant in the Netherlands. In terms of food, the taste was very good and authentic. The food variety is almost like what you eat at weddings but with much better quality. The price is justified by the quality of the food. This place has one of the best ambiance I've ever seen. It was the perfect fine dining experience with no rush and it's great for get-togethers.

Heerlijk vers en smaakvol. Authentiek Indiaas eten, gewoon in Almere Poort! We waren met 5 en hadden ca 9 verschillende gerechten geproefd. Stuk voor stuk voor herhaling vatbaar. Een juweeltje in Almere. Haal af, laat brengen of ga er eten. Gewoon doen! (zie hier een impressie van de start van ons feestmaal)

I had Thali and it's nice.Quantity is sufficient and the taste is good.

Wij bestelde regelmatig bij Taj Mahal, maar omdat het om de hoek zit gaan wij er nu liever naar toe om te eten. Het eten is echt over-heerlijk! Alles is vers, groentes zijn nog lekker knapperig en de smaak is altijd goed. Vooral de Naan is Amazing ! Personeel is vriendelijk. Prijs/kwaliteit is redelijk. Het is aan de dure kant, maar je krijgt er echt goed eten voor terug.

1e keer Indiaas gegeten en het was geweldig. We werden zo goed geholpen en er werd uitgelegd wat wij het beste konden bestellen. We kregen gratis tapas hapjes met lekkere brood zodat we een voorproefje hadden. We hebben butter chicken besteld, tandoori mix grill,garlic naan. Alles smaakte super lekker. We kregen erbij nog een mini salade die inbegrepen was Alles werd geserveerd met een warme onderzetter zodat je eten warm blijft.

The food tastes good. Service is also good. However there seems to be lot of food color being used, which was bit of a let down for me.
