Tapas & Sangria - Bar Restaurant Capaco in Terneuzen Centrum

5 jaar geleden hebben wij tijdens onze bruiloft (diner, receptie en feest) bij Capaco gehouden. Dat was toen zo leuk, dat we het 5 jaar later tijd vonden voor een goede herhaling. Dit was gisteren. Eerst met een kleinere groep gegeten en ‘s avonds opnieuw feest met de mensen die ons dierbaar zijn. Wat was het goed verzorgd door team Capaco, echt een super avond gehad. Heerlijk gegeten, voor ieder wat wils. Hartstikke bedank team Capaco, toppers!

Very nice vibe here, hidden at the crossroads of a few narrow alleys. Why I only give 3 stars? Personally we found it really expensive for what you get. If you charge 11.5 euros for a homemade sangria I want to taste the difference with a regular bar. This sangria was really bland and only contained some citrus fruits (the other fruit wasn't cut yet?). Also the snack platter was on the small side for about 24 euros. We really wanted to come here because we had already discovered this bar years ago, but no time to have a drink. When the owner said at 5:30 that there was no more room, with all the seats reserved (but only 1 table was occupied) we insisted a bit because we wanted to discover this anyway. Ok no problem until 7:30. When we left at 7:30 3/4 of the tables were still empty. So yeah moral of the story. It wasn't really a disappointment, but maybe we should have listened to the owner better in the beginning...

Highly recommended. The staff is super friendly and attentive. You immediately feel like you're in Spain. It was a highlight of our short trip. We'd go back anytime.

Hidden in small alleys and between old buildings we discovered this special place. One big welcome immediately indicated that we had come to the right place. Very good house wine (we were allowed to taste it first, and that says a lot), a lot of quality for a very reasonable price. We took the tapas menu. Extensive tapas, very tasty and cooked with care. Staff gave a lot of attention, nothing was too much. Glad we were allowed to be here, we will come back.

Ambiance was good, but food was disappointing, especially for the price. A considerable part of the seven predetermined courses consisted of bread. The dessert was one churro per person, but three small scoupes of ice cream for five persons, and half of a small pastel de nata each. Quality as well as quantity could have been better.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and service!!

Mooi ingerichte bar,best vriendelijke bediening. Tapas waren zeker niet slecht ,ook niet super. Bordjes gevraagd,dat at handiger. Er wordt enorm veel look gebruikt in de gerechten. Soms ook iets te pikant maar dat is persoonlijke smaak. De avond startte best gezellig. Toen het kouder werd,bleef de deur openstaan. De muziek stond na een tijd loeihard dus weg serene sfeer om te tafelen of bij te babbelen.We zijn zeker niet met honger van tafel gegaan. Prijs kwaliteit ca va nog. Zou er nog terugkomen voor een drankje,geen aanrader voor een avond tafelen. Ik vind dat de uitbater moet kiezen tussen een tapas restaurant of cocktail bar ,beiden mengen ,dat gaat niet samen.

We hebben er heerlijk gegeten, het menu is erg verassend maar echt authentiek spaans. De sangria en cocktails zijn ook erg lekker! Kom er snel weer.

Heerlijk gegeten en een lekker flesje wijn gedronken. Hadden gekozen voor 6 gangen Latino arrangement. Echt een aanrader. Lekker muziekje op de achtergrond en een top bediening bezorgde ons een geweldige avond.

Perfecte plek om een gezellig avondje weg te gaan. Goede sfeer, waardoor je na het kwalitatief hoge eten lekker een drankje kan blijven doen.

Tapas Bar Capaco in Terneuzen is een geweldige plek met een gezellige sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. De ontspannen ambiance en heerlijke tapas maken het de perfecte plek voor een leuke avond uit!

Wij hadden hier een verjaardagsfeestje. Hele leuke locatie en fantastisch eten. De Waard had een heerlijke Paëlla klaar gemaakt buiten op het Terras. En de bediening was ook zeer vriendelijk.

Wat een prachtig mooi plekje in het gezellige oud-Terneuzen. We komen er regelmatig en graag voor een heerlijk drankje. Je voelt je er welkom en verwend! Precies zoals je een vrij weekend wilt beleven. Het restaurant, sangriabar en terras is met zeer veel Spaanse smaak ingericht! Chapeau voor de keuken en bediening. Een dikke 10!

We had an unexpectedly super fun evening and a delicious meal. And recommended for anyone who wants to eat delicious tapas in a Spanish atmosphere.

Tasty tapas in a very cozy atmosphere

Geweldige avond gehad met vrienden. De hele avond heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Alles tot in de puntjes geregeld door een topteam !

Vreselijke tapas restaurant! Echt weinig te eten, vooral brood met wat tomaat en sausjes, iets van vlees dat niet eens vergelijkbaar is aan een voorgerecht, laat staan een hoofdgerecht. En dat voor 47 eur per persoon! Voor mij was het nog erger...vooraf aangevraagd gluten vrije opties en kreeg ik alleen maar 2 kleine stukjes brood met tomaat erop en 2 stukjes broccoli voor geschenken. Vlees was niet glutenvrij. We moesten daarna thuis gaan koken. Ze moeten echt leren van de echte Spaanse tapas restaurants waar er genoeg soorten ham, kaas en hapjes en ja brood.

The first time I went here I had high expectations because of the good reviews. The atmosphere was nice, the service friendly and good. The food was tasty but for that price I think it was not enough. We were not satisfied and I thought that was a shame because it was pricey enough. Afterwards we drove to McDonald's with a group and that was just a shame of course.

Onverwachts op deze gezellige plek terechtgekomen, klein maar goed ingericht. Je zit wel dicht bij de buitendeur, die iedere minuut open en dicht gaat omdat er 2 gebouwen zijn waar het eten/drinken over verdeeld moet worden. In de winter is dit erg koud en een storende tocht. Het eten is oké, naar ons gevoel echter niet typisch Spaans. De patatas bravas zijn bijvoorbeeld niet met de klassieke saus en zijn eigenlijk gewoon gestoomde krieltjes (i.p.v. krokante aardappelblokjes). Ook heel veel gerechtjes met brood. De lengte van de avond is voor ons ook absoluut te lang maar dit is persoonlijk. Het dessert kwam rond 22u30, dit kan je niet kiezen. Het dessert was dan nog een mini gebakje (pastel de nata) dat eigenlijk eerder als surplus bij een koffie kan dienen dan als volwaardig dessert. De tijd tussen de gerechtjes is véél te lang, op een bepaald moment hebben we een vol uur gewacht. De gerechtjes zijn ook binnen de 5 minuten op (bv. 2 stukjes stokbrood met wat aioli). Vriendelijk personeel dat wel wat dingen goedmaakt.

Cozy and small with a nice atmosphere inside and outside. The staff really pays attention to you, partly because you are with a limited number of people. Ate the 7 course menu on Christmas Eve. Highly recommended

Super friendly service + delicious food + super cozy location = great evening. The only downside may be that there is little space inside, we were there for a company party with good weather so we could sit outside. Which is also super nicely decorated.

It was a true experience... 7-course dinner... Everything in the form of tapas... Many prepared dishes are ready to be served outside the kitchen. This is also the place everyone walks by to go to the toilet 🚾. I thought it was a little less, from a hygienic point of view. On the other hand, everything tastes nice and fresh. The Aqua de Valencia and the Sangría 🍹 are delicious. You can sit inside or outside on the terrace. Nice atmosphere. Service is very attentive and friendly. Toilet 🚾 not accessible to ♿. There is often live music on Saturdays.

We were a bit late for the tapas menu and instead received a delicious tapas plank as an alternative. Very nice that the owner thinks along about solutions. Everything was extremely tasty. Truly the very best Spanish tapas restaurant we have ever been to in the Netherlands. Too bad you are not in the Utrecht region, but if we ever go on holiday to Zeeland again, we will definitely come back!

This is THE spot if you're looking for one! Atmosphere, music, drinks, and amazing food. The owners are the kindest most welcoming people who will take the best care of you. Their support staff is also an amazing group of people. Don't walk... RUN to this spot! We consider ourselves very fortunate to have stumbled upon this amazing diamond in the rough.

I came here for dinner twice 2 years ago and it was great! Went back again recently but it was a disappointment. From the cozy and quiet tapas bar that it was 2 years ago, it has now become more of a pub. You are eating and the door is constantly opening, people are constantly passing by, the cold is constantly coming in, in short, it was absolutely no longer pleasant. Shame. I also hoped that the snacks would be a bit different after 2 years, but broadly speaking this is still the same.

Really not worth the money, the food is average, the variety is limited, and I got a food poisoning after visiting this place.

The place is cozy but not recommended with bigger groups (more than 6 people), you will get a very cramped in table for a lot of people(we were 11 at table for 6). The food was good but the concept of 1 dish every 30 minutes is really tiring. We started 17.30 and could only walk out 23.30, it is not a fine dining that you would spend much time there. The most awful thing of the night was "live" music. Space is super small with 4 tables (max 16 people) so the music was out of place. It was super loud that you could not even talk with the person next to you and the artists were very attention seeking. In summer it can be nice if you can sit outside and just enjoy sunshine but don't expect a quick dinner.

Had dinner here with them on the recommendation of friends, it was so delicious. Had taken the package and you are having a wonderfully relaxed dinner. Started at 6:30 PM and left around 11:30 PM. The dishes are well coordinated and there is enough time between the dishes. Quality is excellent.

Too expensive for what you get. When the place is full it takes far too long before you get another aisle and too little attention from the staff. Food was ok but not special and not in relation to the price. The music could also have a bit more variety, there is more to the world than the gypsy kings themselves.

Nice concept. Good food. You can make the evening as long as you want. You can choose whether you want to take the next course with you, yes or no. Nice for a night out with friends. Small minus point, it is not that big. So you don't have an extremely large amount of seating

Very tasty food and a special experience that you will not find anywhere else in Terneuzen. You will be served various tapas over a period of a few hours and a dessert afterwards. Definitely recommended, especially when the weather is nice outside and you can sit on the terrace.
